Wonderfully cosy place with comfort food and coffee. Good coffee made by the lady and we tried their soup and toasties as well. Very well priced and the environment made us feel very at home. As a bonus, our son also received a mushroom sticker from the lady which made our son happy.

Great coffee and their home made Carrot/Walnut Bread was fantastic, well worth a visit and if the weather is nice, highly recommend grabbing take away to sit at the bench over the road to enjoy the view of Waratah Falls

Wonderful coffee and a delicious toastie. Lots of interesting things to look at and a great place to relax after hiking the falls.

Great quirky place for all lovers of mushrooms, a warm fire, hot soup, simple food. Situated in one of Waratah older buildings came back to life, looking out over the waterfall the town is famous for. Clean facilities and accomodating friendly owners

Popped in to this quirky cafe on our way through town after a couple wet days on the road for morning coffee and a quick bite. Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Coffee was nice, ham cheese toasty good as well as the carrot walnut bread I had. Definitely recommend to stop in.

Quirky place with some fun decor and a definite love of mushrooms! I don't really like mushrooms, but found lots of options here. Friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping off here.

Brilliant little cafe opposite the view of Waratah Falls. Nice selection of books on flora, fauna and history of Tasmania. Prices were really reasonable. Blueberry bread warmed up was tasty. Table selling locally-made products. Friendly staff, and plenty of customers. Only open Wednesday-Sunday I think.

Delicious and fresh food and wonderful staff. Nothing better than a good chai and a warm fire on a chilly day! Thanks!

We had great coffee (Gioconda) and sweets here. The owners are very friendly and the cafe has a lovely warm feel, particularly on a freezing cold day when they have the fireplace going. Prices are very reasonable too.

On assignment and stranded with a flat battery. Cobi from the MUSHroom rang around the town and organised a friendly local to get us moving again. Enjoyed a superb coffee and grabbed a few jars of local relish. A warm and inviting cafe and a "must visit" destination. Take your time and enjoy the hospitality!

Beautiful warm welcome, from the owner and the fire going in the corner! We had home-made pumpkin soup, yummy, which came with a slice of bread. Hubby also had toastie. Coffee was good and strong. Lots of reading material, you can sit on the lounge in front of the fire and read. All up, just what we needed on a cold and wet day before setting up camp in town. Also, bought a jar of tomato chutney that I know is wonderful, having purchased one before at the Queenstown Market.

There are not many options in Waratah so we were very happy to find this little cafe. The owner is super friendly and makes an excellent coffee. We also had some home made beef and vegetable soup which was delicious.
