The waffle is nicely presented and delicious. The coffe is also very good. The people there are very nice and friendly. A good small cafe for the whole family.

The food here is really nice. I ordered a fried chicken on waffle (salty), a traditional vanilla ice cream on waffle (sweet), and lamb salad. All of them are delicious. The chicken waffle is a bit expensive but worth tasting. It's not a spacious restaurant. The assistants are friendly.

Oooh boy! I know my waffles are at least I thought I did. Heavens to BETSY the lemon meringue waffles (with an extra waffle) was literally to die for! Coffee was solid, silky and the correct proportion of foam. Service was fast and the cafe was clean and presentable. We ordered maple syrup on the side (didn’t need it. I ended up tipping the maple into my coffee) My wife and I will be back and eager to try some more of the menu options. 10/10

Don’t expect coffee to come in a normal time frame - we only wanted a bit of toast and coffee and more than 10 min later it was still not on the horizon. That would be Ik if loads of people were before is but they weren’t. What happened was the barista just kept taking walk in orders instead of stopping, making the coffees in order. Very yummy creative waffles with anything. They replace the toast with waffles. This morning had Lemon meringue waffles and my partner had eggs Benedict on waffles. Highly recommend. Books essential as it is small and fills up quickly.

Very nice breakfast with a wide selection of options. Service is ok they are not rude but I think they could be a bit more smiley and friendly. Apparently they don't get orders at the table but you need to be the one to go to the bar to order. The atmosphere of the venue is regular. Maybe a little more attention on the interior would give the last nice touch to make this place perfect.

The savoury waffles were so good, we came back twice in one week to get them again. We tried the Brisket Rueben, the Spicy Chipotle Beans and got the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken twice as it was so delicious. In terms of drinks, I cannot give high enough praise to a cafe that offers both spiders (a sad rarity in this day and age) AND chilli hot chocolate. Do yourself a favour and order both! The young blonde server should also be commended - she was so lovely, attentive and warm. If I ran a cafe, I would poach her for sure!

Thankfully I'm not one to take pictures of my food and post them online. However, my partner and I had the most fantastic brunch at Waffle On Cafe and I certainly felt the urge to bore the bejesus out my family and friends with a photo album worth of pics of our exquisite meals. I had the Brisket Reuben, and my lovely lass had the 'Salmon' (smoked salmon, poached eggs, smashed avo, and rocket). Upon first impressions, I felt an overwhelming sense of food envy. The 'Salmon' presented a colorful mouth-watering feast I wanted in on. Whereas my Brisken Reuben didn't quite have the same visual flair... BUT The flavor of my Reuben made my taste buds want to dance naked under the mouth light. Put simply, there isn't enough wind in Hobart to blow up the chef's behind to adequately express my appreciation for these two waffle delights. Service was super, and coffee was right on the mark. Such a wonderful atmosphere!!! We backed packed our way around Tassie and these sweet people welcomed us in with coffee (delicious donuts that came on the side) and life giving waffles!!! The barista was fantastic and our wait staff so kind.... a most of you’re looking for a wholesome brunch

Waffle on provided the friendliest service. We had an iced chai and honeycomb milkshake, both were great, they even checked that I was happy with the strength of the chai. The waffles are to die for! Seriously the best waffles we've ever had. My partner devoured the lemon meringue waffle in record time, while I savoured every bite of my mixed berry waffle with the most beautiful strawberries. We will back before our stay in Hobart is over. Thank you Waffle On!

This place has very nice staff who weren't afraid to joke around with us in between offering us the menu and drinks etc. The location is right on one of the main streets of Hobart and it is near many notable sites (with parking right around the corner, which is practically free). The pricing is a little bit on the higher side, and for the portions you get it's not the best value for money. Regardless this place gets a good recommendation, you'll get a good feed, fun staff, but just not at the best prices in Hobart

Not a lot of seating but we were lucky a lovely gentlemen sitting alone at a bigger table made way for our group and that was just the start of a great breakfast experience! Next came the A1 coffee yummy! And then omg the pièce de résistance the bacon and banana waffles! These beauties need to come with a warning!!!! They are sensational! I literally had to stop between mouthfuls to write this review because everyone needs to eat these!!! If I lived here I would have to eat this weekly!!!!! Yum yum yum yum! Than you for a wonderful breakfast!!!

Waffle On delivers great food with the gimmick of a carbohydrate element underneath the meal. One can take or leave the waffle and have a great food experience. Kudos to the wait-staff and the little cinnamon donut with the coffee.

Ok kinda silly of me to get eggs on toast at a waffle place - but boy oh boy am I glad I did! Best eggs on toast I have ever had! My friend Annie had the waffle and she really enjoyed it. You know, that feeling when you go for the first time to a place, fall in love with a dish, then you go back to the same place with high expectations and end up being disappointed? Well this doesn't apply to Waffle On. I legit had the same egg Benedict Waffle three times, and I still make dreams about it. a. month. later. You could think they are just serving frozen waffles, with a standardized taste, that they just heat up and put on a plate, but no. They simply nailed the recipe, and everything is homemade, and the products are fresh (said the guy at the counter), and the ham is real ham, and if you need one more reason to go: the fluffy little sugary pastries they serve with the coffee are a smash hit! Wish they sold it separately. Don't get fooled by the shabby decoration of the place, enter and have a very good brekky in Tassie for a reasonable price. Service is a bit slow but good things take time!

Waffle on is a firm family favourite for breakfast, lunch, morning or afternoon tea. The service is second to none & the food is sensational. Not just sweet waffles, the breakfast poached eggs and smoked salmon is out of this world & the rueben is a firm lunchtime fav. Fresh local produce used in unique ways - the roasted Stone fruit dessert waffle was one of my favs at the end of last summer. With a strong base menu, the specials & seasonal changes are all that's needed to keep the menu fresh & keep regular customers returning. With GF batter for waffles & the balance of the menu easily adapted, it's a coeliacs friend in the city. They even serve coeliacs with a different coloured napkin so there's no chance of them being glutened!

A bit further away from the CBD, this cosy spot for breakkie was discovered by accident. With a handful of tables and a couch area by the window with newspapers. Good coffee and warm & friendly staff. I personally love anything waffles and this place nails it. On the menu is 1x whole page of sweet waffles, 1x whole page of savoury waffles and 1x page of breakkie dishes if you don't feel like getting your waffle on but you'd be silly not to. Had the Mixed Berry Waffle. Fresh fruits, decadent gourmet vanilla ice cream and a crispy yet soft waffle. Friends had some savoury waffles and they looked yum. Interesting options on the menu. Seal of approval. Wish you were in Melbourne :)

We received a discount to visit here. However, there was no discount in the quality of service and food offered here. The sweet Waffles were delicious and not overly sweet giving a refreshing taste to the mouth and no slurpy sugargy after-taste. The raspberry sorbet accentuated this. The coffees were also luscious providing welcome relief from the all-so-rand batters taste and flavours of Mures Bistro and presented in a small but intimate and comfortable ambience.
