This is a small place that closes at 4 PM on weekdays and does not open on weekends. So for someone like me who doesn't work in the city having a Baguette from here was a rare occasion. But whenever I do, I get a baguette from here, I enjoy it thoroughly.
The size of the baguettes is huge. They have 2 sizes, a big one and a really big one costing $5 and $7 resp. I love the chicken schnitzel Baguette from here which has a lot of chicken in it and tastes good. They sell quite a lot of baguettes everyday so you can expect them to be made fresh everyday. I have recommended this place to many of my friends who have enjoyed the baguettes from here. This place is great value for money.

One of the only cheap places still to eat. they are delicious and filling and the workers are nice!

This place just makes me happy. I look forward to traveling to the city just to go get the best baguette in the world and for dirt cheap at $5. Infinitely better, faster, healthier and cheaper than Subway. Big and filling, and it's a local business! Staff are always friendly and they take cash and card. Best feed in Melbourne for the price.
The non toasted eggplant baguette is the best!

Absolute must have eggplant schnitzel. But you can not go wrong ordering anything

AKA Petite Baguette. Best value baguettes in Melbourne. A wide variety to choose from. 6 inch $4.50, 10 inch $6.50. The bread is pretty good too.

Great serving size for price and nice variety
You need to bring your own ketchup tho

The parallels between B3 and Subway are clear, both serve cheap sandwiches. Where those similarities end, is the quality of the product you receive. In the case of B3, you get an amazing baguette served by staff who look like they want to be there. There is a reason lines form outside the place!

The only place in the CBD that still serve cheap price tasty baguettes. And it's still open.

One of my favourite spots for lunch in the city. Incredibly cheap. Highly recommend the Falafel baguette or Brie, Basil and Tomato baguette. Cheap drinks, cakes + tarts too!

This place is one of Melbournes hidden treasures. The baguettes are exceptionally good, very good price and all the staff i've interacted with are extremely friendly!

Wow, the baguettes are big and there are two sizes. I went for the $5 one which was more than enough, particularly as it was full of great toppings. The taste though is a little lacking and question the quality of the contents. The $7 would've done me for afternoon tea as well. Staff are nice. Some staff don't have the best English but a smile and a nod go a long way.
Most of the food is on display at the front but you can ask for something different if you want.
Service is fast - because that is what they are relying on. Therefore, the food is usually fresh. Considering what other great places to eat in Centre Place, I'd prefer to dine there. However, for a baguette on the run, this is certainly value for money.
Kid friendly. Drinks available. Dietaries accommodates.

Seriously for a quick grab and go lunch in the CBD it is hard to pass up B3 Cafe. The baguettes are always plentiful and well priced with many options to choose from. They staff are always very accommodating when asking for baguettes to be toasted or extra sauce. Would highly recommend for great quality quick and friendly lunch on the go.

$5 bucks for a baguette. Lunch time bargain. Cheapest eat for those on a budget. Don't think you can find any cheaper. I'm a big eater but the small baguette gets me through to dinner. Fast and friendly staff. PayPass PayWave accepted. I usually go for the small chicken schnitzel with extra mayo, toasted. Toasted baguette - a warm healthy lunch.

Very generous rolls, super tasty and not that expensive.

Generous portions and good value for money. The quality of the bread could be better, but for the price can't really complain. Very good selection of fillings. VERY busy at peak lunch hour.

I am the guy who takes the vegetarian options and quizzes you regarding the sauces and toast options :) Strangely when you are in a hurry and dont have the time or the sense to accomodate if the food is going to be good, you can nonchalantly purchase from here. The bigger versions of the sandwiches actually are more value for the money but irrespective, the taste is good. Its crowded most of the times but then dont forget to mention if you want it toasted or want to add sauces. The people never tell ;) dont know why ;) guess they are busy :) or on purpose.

Just stumbled across this place today on my lunch break. $4.50 for Chicken Waldorf roll was superb. Salad & mayo in the roll so fresh & delicious & chicken was juicy. Will definitely be a regular at this place

Nice vibe and good food. The young guy that served us was very friendly and helpful, but an older guy (apparently the owner) displayed erratic, rude and hostile behavior to some other dinners (demanding a newspaper they were reading with no explanation) and a homeless man who walked past. I would normally suggest boycotting this place, but the other staff were great.

The best baguettes I have ever tasted. So fresh, so filling. Everything about it was just perfect. The taste, the price, the convenience. I think I have found a new addiction.

With so many places to choose from in Centre Pl, Melbourne - this place is a helpful and affordable little shop for a quick grab-and-go lunch (see baguettes in different sizes) and is always busy.

I’ve been here many times. Great price and customer service, they pretty quick even when there’s a queue! 👍🏻 They’ve a big variety and they’re all delicious! 100% recommended 😉

Absolutely delicious Eggplant baguette.
Will be back tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and...
I now have to try all the flavours!
R. H.
Cheap 6.50 for a giant roll that has plenty of filling. Though they are usually not very complex. I.e. schnitzel is schnitzel+mayo+rocket
A. W.
Fresh baked bread, quality ingredients AND no-one can beat the price point! Best obtained/eaten early.
A. M.
AMAZING food, a "small" baguette is already quite large and only costs 5 dollars. Great value and great food

Quick, cheap. Can grab a small baguette (which is filling) for $4.50 - then a great coffee nearby - and sit near the river with lunch for under $10!
