been here several times and it's always great, very local and always nice service. food is good, prices are good, serving sizes are good. would recommend this Cafe if you're in the area. also has a lovely view. good stop off on a walk around the river.

Great location along the Maribyrnong River. Food could have been better as the toast was partially burnt.

Such a gorgeous relaxing location right on Maribyrnong wetlands, a stone throw from Flemington. Pathways are full of little birds and butterflies. The cafe is quiet, clean and open and the ladies working there are very friendly and welcoming (coffee is pretty good too). I will definately be back.

What a joy to find this place. Quick service and delicious food. Was able to swap out regular bread for gluten free. Happy to always come back to this locally owned business! Can't wait for happy hour to come back.

Come here infrequently and enjoy being outside if the weather is kind. Nice and relaxing on the river. Menu has changed since new owners took over. Had a decent lunch today. Generally good service and friendly staff. Not a fan of the furnishings/decor but the food is good.

Great view, great staff no complaints there. Parking was quite hard to get since there is alot of housings and apartments nearby so parking is almost never available, expect a shortwalk to get to the restaurant. The food was just average, I ordered the crushed avocado with poached eggs and my friend got the eggs on toast ~poached. Avocado was bland, toast was soggy and salad was over dressed. Poached Eggs in both dishes were over cooked and not nicely presented, not much care at all.

Very nice and quiet location. Parking quite limited around the area. Ordered the green eggs with bacon and sourdough bread plus a large cappuccino. Delicious.

Great Cafe in a superb location overlooking the river. Has a nice outdoor area. You can bring your furry friends. Inside the decor is stylish and modern with a little bar. Sundays have tapas and live music and oh the coffee is perfect 👌

Had a lovely, toasted almond croissant and a green tea here. Very quick, friendly service with a smile. Tasty good and tea. View was lovely. Background music was a little funky for a Sunday morning and there were a few plastic delivery trays stacked up outside on the balcony making the place look untidy, but it wasn’t a real problem. I like this place and I’ll be back.

Great service with friendly staff. Shout out to Vince. Lovely view over the river and no traffic noises. I had the fish and chips. Generous serving, cooked really well and a salad that was more than just a garnish that you sometimes get at other cafes. Will definitely be back.

I often stop by this cafe for a coffee on my long weekend walks around the lake. The staff are always super lovely and make delicious coffee. Shout out to the owner who once even gave me a free cinnamon donut with my coffee which was absolutely delicious! Thank you and see you next time. :)

It was ok, the food actually reminded me a little of mum's cooking. Portions are more then enough and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a filling breakie or lunch. Coffee can do with a bit of an upgrade (change milks for soy to a bonsoy or something creamier and less extraction). To be honest the fit out is kinda smashed together and if you are into a wedding reception for Kim Kardashian sort of decor then this is the place for you. I think the place has potential. Simple fit out Let nonna cook what she is good at cooking Invest a little more in the coffee and you will have the makings of a great cafe.

It’s got a really nice view and the menu is ok. We ordered chicken parma. It was not so special, just sth so usual, the tomato paste on chicken Parma was uncooked which I could have tasted the raw smell. I wish the owner was more respectful towards customer. Recently I was there with my friends for brunch, we had our brunch and we paid our bill but then again we came back in less than 3 mins to use the loo, and we were told no by the owner which we really didn’t like so although it’s got both a nice view and good quality food but won’t come back again.

My god, what a fantastic bagel! Well made Roast Turkey that blended fantastically with avo and baby spinach. My friend said his steak sandwich was fantastic. The waiter we had was absolutely delightful to me and my mate. He was humble and polite which was great. My only complaint is minor and it's mainly to do with the coffee being not hot enough but it was a fantastic cup still.

Dropped into this cafe on a lovely Sunday afternoon (13th Oct19). It is somewhat secluded between appartments, parks and lakes with both indoor and outdoor table service overlooking the lake. We were greeted quite warmly and were given a menu to peruse and to choose anything we fancied. That was a shared plate of breads with dips, wedges and two lattes. The coffee was hot and full flavoured. Just perfectly how I like it. The bread was thick and lightly toasted on the outside, soft inside and accompanied with 4 different flavoured dips that were plentiful. The wedges were chunky with just the right amount of seasoning and also accompanied with a big bowl of sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and were delighted when we complimented the food. Highly recommended.

This place just gets better and better. Breakfast menu selection is interesting and consistently good. My wife and I have sampled most menu items as we live close by and can attest to this. I originally rated this venue 1.0 Stars for service, but this has been greatly improved in the last few months and is now tip top. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Great view, great food, great service. Our late 'brunch' was great! My wife loved the parade of cute dogs almost as much as our delicious corn and zucchini fritters with fried egg on top of a fresh salad and open lamb souvlaki. Bout $18 and $20 each and very well proportioned to satisfy, with quality ingredients, no cheap fillers to create unessisaraly huge portions. Atmosphere has increased a lot since about 2 years ago when it was pretty quite there.
