Long-time favourite, on an irregular basis. Today had the $27.50 lunch special of Tagliatelle Al Ragu and glass of wine. Excellent dish, displaying a hint of nutmeg in the ragu, which is unusual and confirmed by the chef (I asked), and which lifts the overall taste experience. Recommended. I had a house red wine, which seemed to be a Shiraz Merlot, quite yummy (I'm happy to try whatever comes). I also had a refreshing iced coffee. I sat in the Arcade and had interesting conversation with my American neighbour. Nice to do normal things like this again post-double vaxxed!

What a nostalgic beautiful building with photos of historic Melbourne on the walls matching the old architecture and furnishings. This delightful and very busy Cafe offers brilliant fast paced service and an array of fresh foods to suit everyone's tastes... Apart from my usual coffee fix I chose the Italian jam doughnut... Bellissimo This warm sugary treat made perfect with the tang from the red thick raspberry Jam. If I could have eaten 2 I would have. ♡♡ 10/10

One of my absolute espresso finds in Melbourne was Caffe E Torta Cucina located in Royal Arcade was simply stunning with fantastic service and delicious canolli. I had 2 soy lattes in such a short timeframe as it was early morning and it beckoned. I’d love to revisit for brunch other than a quick sweet treat. This was definitely my favourite coffee spot found during my stay. Highly recommended with distinction!

Kitchen did very well for the other 2 of our party of 3. My meal never showed. I assume that's because front of house paid little to no attention to the service bell that I heard ring 6 times in the space of 3 minutes which was ignored. Service staff utterly terrible. Worst coffee I've had in over 10 years. Pity considering the reviews of this place are stellar. Management need to take a look at their front of house staff or they will lose a lot more customers

Every time we travel from Perth, we make a point to stop here for breakfast. Good, tasty and reasonably priced. Excellent coffee and friendly service. There are a lot of fake reviews for this place. Treat the single star reviews with a grain of salt. It's worth a stop.

1st time we went and was excited to have a Italian Donut but they had all sold out so we just had coffee. Coffee was perfect on taste and temperature. Halfway thru drinking our perfect coffee the waiter/manager gave us a complimentary strawberry tart due to the Italian Donut being sold out. We gratefully said he didn't need too but he would not say no. So we enjoyed a dessert as well. The next day we went back and got our Italian Donuts and we were not disappointed, delicious they were and the coffee was perfect again. We will gladly be back next time we travel to Melbourne

One of my fave cafe to visit when i am in melbourne. There might be a few better ones, but this one is not bad. The only gripe here is that the place is small so you’ll find yourself squeezing in especially when the place is busy. Coffee is a strong point of this place and one of the better ones.

On my first visit last month, had the chocolate salted caramel tart and loved loved loved it! My friend ordered the brownies which were simple but to die for in taste! The orange juice was simply refreshing and thirst quenching. That was why I had to come back again.. tried the belgian waffles. What an unforgettable experience! The gentleman who looked after us, Julian, was extremely kind and attentive. The food was utterly delicious! Coffee wise, one of the best I've had (in Melbourne). Less milky and smooth than baba (I ordered soy both places) but it has slight saltiness to it, very minimal, but a good thing for me, it tastes very pleasant, not light, not heavy. Was a very great balance. The place was very nice as well. The downside though, not the friendliest barista.

It's often difficult to find in hyped-up Melbourne a proper italian-style short black/macchiato, without an off putting burnt backtaste. These guys ticked the box instead! The bombolone was also very nice.
