Comments of CIBI
M. T.
Delicious Japanese breakfast. Quite filling but not too heavy. I also had a coffee and a yuzu shortcake. Service was good but it took a while for them to seat me. Otherwise staff was attentive and friendly. The shop was lovely too. Would love to come back and try the other items.
A. D.
Cute place, nice atmosphere. I love the store as it has lots of unique Japanese home wares, however they are a bit pricey. The food options are fairly limited. I had the More Vegetables, and although tasty, it could have used more zing.
J. F.
This Collingwood Spot is a fun mix of just about everything! You come for the cafe which serves up Japanese inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch options alongside very well presented coffees, sweet treats everything you expect in a Melbourne cafe experience with the surprise being the Japanese wares section which seems to stock everything Japanese from kitchen basics for making sushi and miso, cooking utensils and dining essentials to even Japanese tiling!
They cohabit the space well with the plant store as it very much looks like the one business and owner but they are in fact seperate.
very funky and fun, well worth a shot of you would love a little Japanese inspired breakfast and brunch!

Brunching at CIBI was simply an amazing experience. The dishes that we ordered, CIBI lunch complete (seasonal fish, vege, rice blend) and traditional grilled salmon, were elegantly delicious and quite generously portioned. The ambiance was very cozy; loved the high ceiling, the decor and the little shop they set up in the middle of the cafe. Service was very friendly also.
M. S.
Wow YUM! Ok so miso soup… mouth watering. Breakfast was delicious, perfect size, scrumptious, perfection. Service was so so lovely. All the staff are fantastic, attentive and friendly. Yuzu squash was delectable. Coffee is stunning!! This place rocks!

Great place for a bite. Great place to check out imported Japanese condiments and kitchenware. Sparkling sake!
Intermixed with other condiments from other countries.
Service is prompt and polite. Pleasant and quiet vibe even though the place was filling up into the "late" Sunday morning (9-ishl

Delicious Japanese style quick, light lunches. Was $31 for a small sandwich and bento but delicious and already made, so most importantly, fast.

Food was good, perfectly cooked and clean flavours. Value for money is however not great: $25 for this platter and on top of that a rather unusual 10% surcharge because it's a Saturday. I know wages are higher on the weekend, but there's also a lot more customers to cover for that.
A. C.
I enjoy the Japanese breakfast esp the miso soup only issue is rice is always cold
Very good coffee and Japanese tea
Fantastic shop with Japanese merchandise
L. W.
Amazing!!!! Superb food, and a shop that is filled with such gorgeous objects and utensils that make you want to change your entire kitchen! Highly recommend!
A. H.
Authentic, modern and deeply Melbourne. What a great little place to visit not just for its food, but for its unique set up, blending retail with food and beverage and the graceful open kitchen... all in a warehouse. The food here is focused on quality and thoughtful. Recommendation here is the miso baked eggs, unique dish, mild yet tasty. Worth a visit if not for its food.
M. F.
Went there for an early lunch, stayed for much longer than intended. The ultimate lunch was delicious. After eating I spent a while browsing their shop. They have really lovely kitchen supplies. I will definitely be going back and breaking the bank for some new, unique utensils.
K. C.
Very interesting place! Had the Japanese breakfast...nice change to the usual avocado/bacon & eggs. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Cool warehouse conversion. Unisex toilets the only negative 🤷🏽♀️
A. N.
Must Try - The traditional Japanese breakfast plate is probably one of the best ways to start the day. Delicious, filling, satisfying yet light, it was really the perfect combination. The miso baked eggs was very intensely flavourful, bordering on slightly salty, but we still ended up finishing everything because it was too good to stop.
B. A.
I came in 2019 and I back again 2021.. food great and the coffee is ok, nice views and I'll back again definitely.. just the Feta by $5 its little bit expensive , other things all good
D. L.
A unique and modern cafe located in Fitzroy. The venue itself has a retail area of Japanese goods. In terms of food there are a variety of options for breakfast/lunch and pricing is moderate. I had the traditional breakfast plate which was quite lacking to be honest. There was very little flavour in any of the elements on the plate, and the salmon was abit too overcooked. The baked eggs were quite punchy in flavour though. Overall an nice experience great place to catch up over coffee if in the area.
M. K.
This is definitely a gem in small laneway if you love Japanese food. Their menu is Japanese fusion. Their chicken mince rice is super tasty and fresh. Their salmon bento cooked to perfection with very yummy egg. Baked egg is very Japanese fusion and tasty. They also offer variety of Japanese tea, including hojicha. Lots of yuzu menu too. Cafe is inside the Retail area. Not huge cafe space, best for small group. Only few big group table available. Outdoor sitting is available too. Pound cake is the best dessert in this cake, esp. Yuzu flavor. Takeaway bento and noodles also looks good. Price overall is pretty usual price range for such a quality Japanese cafe. Definitely worth the money. This cafe is few street away from tram stop. Parking is not easy to find. Staff is very friendly. Sitting is comfortable, but table is quite small if you order too much. Retail area is a must visit, lots of their products are imported from Japan, there are unique products which only can find in this store. The entrance is not easy to see, look carefully.
H. i.
Part cafe, part retail space where you can shop for a variety of Japanese home wares and foodstuff, Cibi is a cute and relaxing spot for a brunch date. I had the Japanese curry with rice, and my friend chose the breakfast set with the salmon. The minced chicken with rice was rather small portion-wise and not really good value for money. Still, a fun meal at such a cute space.
P. H.
Really enjoyed the wholesome, nourishing, light meal from CIBI. The baked treats are also great.
J. L.
I made the booking a few weeks earlier. Two
days ago they called to ask for $100 deposit! I know some popular restaurants are doing this now but they should've told me at the time of booking and not surprise me last minute! I was assertive and didn't pay.
Aside from that the food was great. My miso baked egg was scrumptiously cheesy, blending well with the soft textures of eggplant and butternut pumpkin with sweet miso. Silence befell the table as other friends enjoyed their soba noodles and Traditional salmon and egg omelette with rice, vegetables and potato salad. Everyone was clearly satisfied with their choice of cakes for dessert.
We were in the side garage so not much to look at, but the main section looks great and was worth exploring. Service was friendly and timely throughout. Overall, a pleasant visit even though the booking experience was poor.
E. K.
Quirky brunch cafe / japanese grocery store with plenty of characters. You can get various japanese items like wasabi, pans, utensils, etc. It's a shame the food isn't that great as I find it to be quite bland. Price is also expensive for the quantity of food you get.
Food - 5
Service - 7
Vibe - 10
Price - $$$$
S. L.
We love Cibi! Nice place to hangout for a cup of coffee and foods are amazing too, simple and yet delicious.
If you live nearby and need Japanese groceries you can find it here easily. Plenty of utensils, plates, cups etc for your home too.
Would definitely come back here again :)
C. S.
Healthy but delicious brunch. Great coffee too. Personally think the set lunch is a little overpriced but definitely worth every cent.
E. W.
Had the traditional breakfast - was amazing! The store is fantastic and loved the decor
H. J.
Loved the food and vibe at this joint. It was so enjoyable that I didn't notice the pricetag on the $14-per-block vegan organic chocolate they had at the counter (and that I succumbed to). Such was my satisfaction that I paid zero attention when paying the bill as well! Love it gang, will be back.
l.
Excellent cold drinks and cake. Unfortunately, I bought a $14 block of chocolate that was very old, covered in a white film and not edible which was disappointing. They have a large inventory that maybe needs to be checked more often.
J.
Fresh! Not over indulgent simple Japanese inspired meals. Yum! Service is timely, outdoor area you can stash your bike and a big indoor seating area. Little deli and goodies to spend your cash on. Coffee is perfect and the pricing a little more than you would expect but no reason to avoid the place. Experience it.

Recommended by a sweet friend , this warehouse convert to a nursery - Asian grocery - cafe tucked away in the heart of Collingwood and seems to be a favourite amongst locals. If you want delicious authentic miso soup followed by simple clean Japanese food paired with green tea, this is a place to visit. They have a beautiful selection of sweeties to fulfill your sinful desires ..
P. H.
Great Japanese cafe that serves very nice sets, like grilled salmon with a side of brown rice, tamago and potato salad. We also love their cakes especially the yuzu pound cake. They also sell ready packed meals, Japanese tableware and other fresh produce / sauces.
N. H.
Great atmosphere, great customer service and above all great Japanese food. There is also a little shop where you can buy Japanese tea sets, knives, books and other interesting items.
J.
We got the curry and the soba
The curry was very good, for the soba there is not enough “sauce” and for both the quantity is definitely not enough
But anyway the quality is there and this is the most important
Also, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing 👍
G.
Amazing Japanese cafe and homewares store set in a large industrial space with an unassuming entrance. Located just off the bustling Smith Street, CIBI is definitely worth the detour. There are tables scattered throughout the space, and in the main cafe area there are communal tables as well as smaller individual ones.
The coffee is excellent and up there with the best in Melbourne. Nice Japanese inspired menu, and lovely cakes on offer. The Lime Poundcake was delicious. Service was excellent too. Lovely buzzing atmosphere yet it has a soothing ambiance.
N. A.
What a fabulous place. I've been here twice now, and wish I lived around the corner so I could go more often. The coffee here is actually perfect, and the food is fresh, seasonal, delicious and served to your table promptly. Love it. Also make sure you give yourself 15 minutes to peruse the gorgeous Japanese homewares available for sale. I want one of everything!
B. K.
Small menu but food and coffee were great. You can also order the traditional Japanese breakfast there.
M. Y.
Omg. What have I not discovered this place earlier?? Absolutely everything is different in this cafe. The menu, the set up and certainly the vibes. Look at the kitchen and you'll see it's an absolutely Asian kitchen which serves up great fusion dishes. Take a stroll around and you'll not be bored.
H.
Decent Japanese style breakfast joint. I got the breakfast spread with salmon, rice, miso and sides, it was tasty but still left me wanting more from the dish.
There's also a lovely interior and large space with lots of tables, on a Saturday at 12 we got a spot after a couple minutes, great for groups and couples.

1 of my most favourite cafe in Melbourne so far. Very nice Japanese breakfast with a twist plus super cute decor plus good coffee plus fine kitchen stuff plus cute little market with fresh food and homemade Japanese ingredients plus gardening and plants shop. love love love!
T. P.
An amazing atmosphere with great food! We loved both the traditional Japanese breakfast and avo on toast. The little marketplace and plant store next door make for a great breakfast and shopping experience!

NOV 2020
Called in for a take away coffee. The service was lovely, and my strong skinny latte perfect.
I'm not sure what brand of milk they use but its bloody tasty!
This place is a must visit.
Previous review - Early 2020
This cafe/deli/shop Is fantastic. I've always wondered what a Japanese breakfast was and now I know.
Dish No 1 was: Cibi lunch complete of seared tuna, pumpkin and spinach croquette, green beans, sugar peas, diakon, broccoli, Cibi white bread, white and brown rice, soy beans and white quinoa w dried shisho flakes & ao-nori. What an awesome dish this was.
Dish No 2 was a traditional Japanese breakfast plate, w a grilled sliced salmon fillet, free range tamayoki egg omelette, seasonal vegetables, potato salad, CIBI rice blend and miso soup.
And my strong almond latte was perfect.
J. T.
In general 7/10 ... What's not to like with their new premise; warehouse, huge, rustic, vintage, quirky, eclectic, greenery, well presented Japanese Cafe, easily one of the best representation of Melbourne's rich cafe diversity.
10/10 for the shop, don't be surprise that the cheapest stuff is a pair of Birkenstock klompen, the open shop section stocked with high end Japanese designed products.
Foodwise 6/10, overpriced $21.50 Traditional with its mini Salmon, complemented with one of the tastiest Miso Shiru, $18.50 rusticly presented however bland Baked Eggs.
Coffee wise , 7/10 $5.00 Batch Brew and 6/10 $4.20 latte, 8/10 $4.50 Hot Chocolate.
High-end shop or food?
P. W.
I love the vibes, food and service. Highly recommend. We tried the chicken soboro super delicious. Leaving you full without feeling too overly stuffed.
R. O.
Ok, the atmosphere is cool, and so we were expecting food to be satisfying. However, the food was just average if not bad. The baked egg was way too sweet (probably pumpkin was a bit too much) covering all other tastes. Salmon was totally overcooked (not expecting that from a Japanese cafe). Coffee was fine. There are much better Japanese cafe/restaurants. Though it is worth a visit for having a coffee or matcha.
T. A.
Great service, fantastic coffee, and decent food. Lovely space. Do think the traditional plates are a bit overpriced at $25 though.
Q. M.
Easily one of the nicest cafes in Collingwood. The space is beautiful and the food is simple and nourishing and centred around whole foods. There aren't tons of vegetarian options - especially for lunch - but the ones that are on offer are great. I love the vegetable lunch plates with a mix of warm and cold dishes plus multigrain rice studded with soy beans. It's a bit expensive at $20 considering its quite light, but I believe it's because you're paying for quality ingredients. When I visited I was accidentally served the fish plate, but all was quickly resolved without any issues. I haven't tried the coffee but the tea and Kombucha are nice.
Z. R.
This is a new CIBI, much bigger space, cosy as always. They kept their signature Japanese breakfast dish, but also added new delicious dishes. Good coffees as always. They also do decaf. Love the vibes.
L. A. M. M.
Possibly the most delicious breakfast I have ever eaten in my life. I don't take photos of food in cafes but I was compelled this time. Magic!
T.
Best place for Japanese homewares & gifts! Also love Plant Society next door!
M. T.
Magnificent place for a clean Sunday bfast. Large open spaces, plenty of greenery inside, wonderful supporting staff and the cuisine is super fresh and clean. Would 100% come back again.
S. A. C. S.
The service is awesome and the place is great!Really makes you miss Japan a lot..
Coffee was excellent, however, food was on the expensive side considering the servings. The salmon was Ok, though I would have preferred it to be grilled a bit more.
m. c.
I love the salmon breakfast set but sometimes the rice can be a bit hard ? I think its cos it's brown rice or something.
I also love the miso soup because it's got extra stuff inside like carrots and it's so tasty but I can't bring myself to pay 5 bucks for such a tiny cup of soup. Coffee is great. My only complain is that it's always full and I hate to wait in line for a table.
L. V.
Nice place for Japanese lunch or breakfast. Also shopping for kitchen utensils, cutlery, etc.
N. S.
Food is legit, the Japanese items are really well curated. We have lived in japan for 2 years and the things they have here are really great. Must have in Melbourne
H. P.
Amazing warehouse space that houses a plant store, Japanese home wares and a cafe. The food here matches the care and attention to detail of the best places in Japan and can highly recommend the traditional breakfast plate.
Y. S.
Visited here to get a bit late lunch. I’m sure that this cafe is deserved to be said one of the most successful Japanese fusion cafe in Australia.
They respect Japanese-style breakfast and translate the idea into the idea that impresses foreigners who is familiar to Japanese culture.
Also they have abundant Japanese products, so you’ll never be bored with them.
Great work, thank you so much for irreplaceable experience.

Wow. What a beautiful space. I wish I lived close by, I would visit daily. It's my new fave Melbourne Cafe.
Z. D.
Wait too long. Greasy wax on table. Food was ok but not out of this world.
M. C.
Cafe with Japanese style breakfast/lunch. Always get a good meal from this place. The dessert here is delicious too. I love the raspberry chocolate cake.
Within the same shop there is a mini Japanese mart with interesting products sourced from Japan.
T. M.
Good service and great food. Also has great shopping options for Japanese cuisine.
J. C.
What a funky place. Good food and serivce and a great community feel to it with local products on sale
M. M.
The atmosphere is great. Food is pretty average but coffee was absolutely amazing. There is also a nice mini nursery and gift shop to check out. Overall on the pricey side.
A. S.
Japanese breakfast is perfect. Filling delicious and nutritious. Coffee also great and came put quickly.
J. T.
Delicious and the staff are so lovely. A beautiful space to spend time in.

Delicious Japanese breakfast and cute market
G. D.
Nice atmosphere in an open and light space. Tasty miso
K. C.
I enjoyed Japanese breakfast! I will definitely come back again!
k. y.
Service is good and very comfortable to stay.
A little bit over-price as a smaller size but the price is like above the average.
Overall it is worthy to have a try.
J.
Great Japanese breakfast. Very healthy. Good vibes.
Y. X.
Not filling at all, price is quite high, salmon tastes ordinary, not valuable, not as good as two years ago,not coming back.
D. R.
I had reasonably high expectations but found the food to be pretty underwhelming for the price. The traditional breakfast isn’t a dish I would recommend, but the baked egg, which I didn’t have, was apparently tasty but not filling if your hungry. The coffee is excellent
S. S.
There was a bit of a wait for a table, but it was nice to be able to browse the products while we were waiting. The atmosphere was enjoyable, cosy but open and not too loud to hear conversation.
I enjoyed the traditional breakfast, which was a good portion, if a little expensive for what you get. But it was simple food cooked very well, and I would probably get it again!
The staff were very courteous, and the coffee was quite nice. I feel that you pay a premium for atmosphere here so if it's your style, you will probably really enjoy a visit.
D.
Food was very good however quite expensive for what it was. The shop is also quite expensive
L.
I really enjoyed this place. The eco-friendly interior was so good!

Glad that CIBI has expanded to a bigger venue (next door), mmm nato beans and Japanese brekkie and a lot more goodies on display to buy!
J. C.
I travel across town to get my CIBI fix. Everything on their menu is great - there are no flat spots at all. The servings are good size and enough to keep you satisfied. The coffee is excellent too. It’s incredibly busy though at the peak breakfast/brunch periods.

Open spaces cafe where you can get a really clean breakfast. Nice way to ride into the city. Recommend.

Yum!
Plants and lovely homewares in the warehouse cafe.
Staff are nice. Outdoor seating a bonus
M. H.
Zen & the art of breakfast. Chibi exudes peace & calm even when busy. Early diners can enjoy the quiet atmosphere whilst sipping excellent coffee or great Japanese teas, together with beautifully prepared traditional dishes full of goodness, either vegetables, eggs, salmon etc in combination just right to start the day.
Lunch menus look good too. You can also browse & purchase many items of kitchen ware, pottery etc all manner of well made practical implements or simply to add some Zen to your surroundings. I highly recommend Civil.
D. K.
Food is excellent quality but expensive. The avocado on toast is the only vegan option and you only get one small slice of toast. Very tasty but not very filling.
S. F.
I have to admit that I like Japanese breakfast and CIBI didn't disappoint. Friendly staff great spot
B. P.
Beautiful, simple breakfast served alongside a soul-warming cup of Japanese tea. Some great Japanese ingredients and kitchenware to browse as well.

Quality Japanese Brunch
L. P.
So yum, I had the traditional Japanese breakfast!
D. H.
Great Swordfish Sandwich with edamame and good coffee. Arrived around 3pm so no issues with crowds or service. They also sell a range of well made Japanese kitchen products and art items. Well worth taking time to look at. Quite airy and cool inside
L. E.
One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. Simple and delicious Japanese food and drinks.
Plus elegant homewares too.
A. S.
Good quality food but can be further improved upon. Ample space that is tastefully decorated and gives a certain feel. Interesting mix of a restaurant that is also selling home-ware because of the available space. Service was friendly and attentive.
P. H.
Had always wanted to try this place as the atmosphere always appears relaxed. I love the plant section. Having ordered the traditional Japanese breakfast, I had high expectations but was slightly let down. The miso soup was barely hot and slightly watered down, the salmon while tasty was not salty at all which is what I expected and the portion size for the overall meal was small for $21
I will try the venue again as I have love for Japanese food.
C. R.
Beautiful place. I wouldn't recommend cibi for vegans at this point if you want to have lunch though. For $20 there is a "complete lunch" that includes fish, veggies and grains but there is no vegan option when you ask to remove the salmon. You end up with no proteins and pay full price.
C. C.
Great atmosphere unfortunately food was quite mediocre. I had the lunch combo and the salmon was quite dry with overly generic sweet sauce on top. Veggies that come along with the meal weren't anything impressive either, just a bunch of raw/blanched greens drizzle on another basic sauce. Also the multigrain rice was quite hard even though when prepared correctly they shouldn't be. I was a big fan of this shop even before visiting the shop due to its popular cookbook and life philosophy. It really gave me a great disappointment when the food you get there aren't better than most eatery in Melbourne. P.S. CIBI is a combination of restaurant and shop, anything that's not food related is exorbitant however.
C. C.
Great little place; quiet and peaceful. We only wanted a simple and quick lunch so we just had sandwiches - but they were delicious and very nicely presented. The accompanying small shop with its Japanese pottery ware, cutlery and other bits and pieces was also fantastic. I'll be going back; often.
H. S.
Yummy avocado on toast and filter. Quite expensive but we went on a public holiday so understandable. More vegan options would be good 😊
R. G.
Great cafe! If you want a quick coffee and to read the paper it’s a great place to go. They also sell a lot of Japanese cooking utensils and cook books, and have a great plant store in the cafe.
D. B.
Went there for lunch. Really clean and fresh Japanese food. They have daily specials and also have a market set up with home made japanese food stuffs and groceries, plants and an eclectic selection of home wares. Highly recommend it for lunch and as a place to find some more obscure foodie gifts.
A. L.
Friendly service and food was excellent. Only 4 stars consider the price, portion was extremely small. So everyone was still hungry after the meal.
E. M.
CIBI is a very sensible place. Where to learn Sense!
D. A.
Went for lunch on a Saturday. Cibi offers all-day breakfast on weekends. The vibe of the restaurant is amazing. The menu is highly authentic to Japanese cuisine. Expect a longer wait for a table in busy times.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience with my order "getting lost". Waited longer than my companions for food and despite visibly waiting and making eye contact with staff who took my order, no one enquired to ensure we had everything. After standing and enquiring, my food arrived promptly but visibly more rushed than my friend's order who had the same dish as me.
Staff were really polite but I was disappointed with my experience.
T. L.
Delicious Japanese breakfast and cute market
G. D.
Great food, and good service, very traditional Japanese food - BUT - to be told that you can't get some extra hot water in the tea that you order, I was like "WHAT?". Tap water is free, but to get some extra hot water in the tea without ordering another pot of tea. Just doesn't seem right. Attitude like that is worth the loss of 2 stars, there are other excellent Japanese and non Japanese places to get food in Collingwood.
G. D.
Nice atmosphere in an open and light space. Tasty miso
J.
Really love the vibe here, but I was disappointed that there is only one vegan option on the menu and, although they can remove things from a menu item to make it vegan, they don't substitute.
This is a surprise and seems really behind the times as most restaurants in Fitzroy and Collingwood will substitute with vegan options.
It's a truly beautiful space and I'd love to come back if they revise their menu/policy.
E. B.
Very clean open kitchen cafe with some interesting items for sale also .
N. d. B.
Was OK, however as the menu items change and some items are available only weekdays there wasn't much that I personally would prefer to eat. Coffee was nice and the other with us enjoyed the food, but coming on a Sunday I didn't have much to choose from that didn't have seafood.
P. H.
The traditional Japanese breakfast plate was so simple and delicious, as was the house made apple tea. Such a nice venue & atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
J. L.
Scramble eggs dish was nice. Great vibe
S. B.
Cute little cafe, lovely staff would recommended
A. B.
The old CIBI moved a few doors closer to Smith St, into a much larger space to better showcase the kitchen, homages and a veritable indoor jungle. Still the same excellent food, coffee and friendly service without the pretensions. If I have to fault anything it's the noise level, although this may be par for the course with warehouse-based fitouts.
S. S. (. e.
Array of interesting Japanese inspired homewares
B. H.
Lovely place with great food and ambiance and nice staff
T. D.
Amazing. Mina•no•ie was one of my favourite breakfast/brunch spots. I'm glad they've incorporated this back into Cibi. Great menu which is a little more extensive than Mina all tucked into an awesome warehouse filled with plants and homewears.
H. M.
Excellently made coffee nestled in an exciting space. The traditional Japanese breakfast is a nourishing and balanced meal whilst the fruit toast ticks the sweet-tooth box.
R. C.
Love this place! Selling plants and homewares with food and coffee. Japanese vibes.
N. W.

For those missing traveling to Japan - CIBI is a little paradise in Collingwood.
F. M.
I reckon the best soy latte in Melbourne. Japanese inspired delicious menu. The cafe is attached to a nursery and has great ambiance.
J. D.
Love the traditional Japanese breakfast, plus could spend hours roaming the retail section.
T. s.
An inviting space, with delicious modern Japanese cafe style cuisine along with the decor in the modern Japanese aesthetic. Just loved the whole experience including the excellent customer service in the retail shop.....we will return.
P. K.
I prefer the old Cibi but the new place will eventually grow on me. Love the atmosphere and the coffee and muffins are always of a high quality. A little bit of Tokyo in Melbourne.
S. J.
Service was good. However when I asked for extra hot water to give my five dollar tea a second wash it was denied on some pretext that really felt snobbish and dismissive. Wouldn’t go back even tho the miso was delicious
A. W.
A favourite of ours. Reliably delicious meals (my faves are the traditional breakfast and lunch!) and great coffee. There's always space for our pram too.
S. B.
Favourite breakfast place of all time!
Every other breakfast I have is now compared to this.
I could write poems about this place.
If I ever got a tattoo it would be CIBI.
CIBI is life

(Translated) It’s really nothing to say about the environment, it’s too Japanese feel. Japanese knives are really super ingenious, the handle is very smooth, the knife is also very sharp, especially the cut is really perfect, brunch is really suitable for lighter tastes Friends, it's refreshing and delicious😋

环境什么的真的没话说,太有日本的feel 啦,日本刀具真的是超有匠心精神,刀柄很顺,刀也很锋利,特别是切口真的完美,brunch真的适合口味比较淡的朋友,很清新好吃😋

(Translated) The food is really delicious and I feel like I'm getting healthy. It's a great advantage and another fun to be able to see quality Japanese cutlery and miscellaneous goods after eating. The taste, space, and composition were perfect. It would be even better if you visit in a sunny morning :)

(Translated) Nice hospitality and food ☺️
Staff were very friendly!
There are many cafes in Melbourne, so it's fun to visit the cafes, but most of the shops offer a generous amount of food.
Sometimes I want to eat a fashionable lunch at a fashionable cafe in Japan.
The customer service is also very polite, and the rice is just the right amount and seasoning, so it will be very healing ✨
The interior is very fashionable and very comfortable!
I'll go play again!
