Excellent place for breakfast. Had the chicken avocado bagel and almond croissant. Coffee was very good aswell. We stayed at nearby Park Hyatt and the breakfast there is overpriced. Better to walk over to Coffee Exchange (2min walk) for much better brekky!

They do lactose free milk, and in this day and age, this should be the standard. I like milk, I really do, and I would have straight up milk if I could, but I can't, and the same can be said for a lot of people. The milk froth can use some improvements, but the taste is alright. The service is good and the place is clean. Not bad for a place to let time pass until your next agenda.

We ordered from them via Menulog on the last day of January. It would have been better if they followed my request on the note to restaurant - no utensils please. But I still like that they used paper box for food. My large matcha latte with soy was good. Long Black was reported good. I really like the beetroot purée in paleo burger! My sweet potato rosti was very yummy! I'd suggest have it without the sauce attached.

Hadnt been here for about 7 months, new owners for "Coffee Exchange", the young girls were friendly. Chilli scramble eggs, on sourdough, mushrooms, grilled chicken (no pork belly), and a white choc Raspberry muffin. Grilled Chicken was best part of this meal, tender. I don't think the scrambled eggs were freshly cooked, they were dry and bit rubbery, mushrooms were not grilled or pan fried, sort of steamed, had lots of liquid on the plate. White chocolate muffin was dry, maybe not freshly baked today. It was a public holiday, so maybe that's the reason 🤔

Ordered the EggXchange. Pros: the roasted tomatoes is absolutely delicious. The sausages packs a kick of spiciness. Was not expecting that at all. Cons: if I want to be critical, I guess it's that the overall dish was just quite oily. In general, a decent place for breakfast.

There look to be a few low carb options on the so I popped in to check it out. The decor is down to earth and there is plenty of space to sit and have a quiet meal. Had the sweet potato rosti with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Also noticed a paleo burger on the menu. Will add this as a regular place to visit.

I ordered the pork belly pie, displayed in the cabinet.| Decided to eat in rather than take-away. The pie ended up being served with the Moroccan Chickpea salad which included items such as tomato, cucumber, feta, pomegranate with dressing and a couple of meatballs of some description. However, I was not told the pie was served with salad. I took my plate to the register to explain that I hadn't ordered salad and was told with a shrug that it just comes with it. I wasn't happy, and I told the girl when paying that I couldn't eat it. There was no consideration that not everyone can actually eat the ingredients in that salad. If a salad is by default served with an item, the customer should be told so (there was no indication anywhere of this), but also told what the salad was in case it was not allergy/diet suitable. The food looked good and my pie was delicious, but I was not impressed with being served something I had no choice or consideration over. The attitude of the two staff was also dismissive.

We craved ham and cheese crossaints on a Sunday morning and we were stoked to find this place just down from our hotel. Staff were really welcoming and lovely. Sadly they didn't toast the crossaints for long enough to melt the cheese, but the hot chocs had quality chocolate, yummo.

I had an almond late and a gluten free toast with scrambled eggs and mushroom. Everything was delicious and well done. The staff is absolutely lovely. All the three people that talked to me were kind and helpful. I do appreciated that one of the staff members were later eating in one of the tables. It shows they have a respectful working culture. I once worked in a Yarraville's cafe where the owner would never admit this (we ate in the service lane, next to the bins). Hope you keep this high quality service. Thanks, Giovanna. ps.: just don't give 5 cause the toast could be a little more toasted, probably because the GF bread has a different toasting time.
