Super fast service w exceptional views. Nice spot watching the birds on nearby trees, and boats comings and goings. Good all-day breakfast/brunches available. Licensed. Happy-hour Cocktails look inviting, but too early for us to try...

Love this place for breakfast. If it's a nice day cross you fingers for a spot on the balcony looking out over the water! Fantastic food and excellent coffee, very happy regulars! Be warned, the scrambled eggs (delicious) serving will feed a family of 10!!

Today I had the best prawn dish I've had in my life! It was just the comfort food I needed that hit every taste bud on my tongue...Even the salad came to life in my mouth as it too was bursting with flavours. The service was on point... friendly, polite staff and I did not wait long for my my food. Well done and thank you! I will see you again soon :)

Unfortunately the promise of coffee cards has not been finalised for Monday today. Obviously a miscommunication has occurred and hopefully resolved soon. Apart from that, Edina Cafe is a pleasant place to have great meals and good coffee and staff that are friendly and welcoming.

View over bay was lovely. Our entrees were great. The wine we ordered ended up not being available but we enjoyed another local one. Main calamari salad was ok but overdressed and salad was just too oily which was disappointing. However it was first time there so I will try again another time.

From the main road, there is just a small ‘cafe’ sign that points to this gem of a find. Was dying to try the mussels famous in the area and after checking out the local hotel/pub it wasn’t very appealing so we came here, and was wowed by this cost place. The place is clean and staff was friendly. The mussel had a twist to it with coconut. Very grateful that their children menu isn’t full of unhealthy fried stuff for kids. The pasta was fantastic and healthy. Oh and did I mention the view? Just wow. Will surely return again :)

Look place was nice to sit at with great view of port pier if you get to sit on the balcony. Service was 4/10 could be more welcoming. Bacon and egg meals seem good. Mine was nice. Other customers meals also looked good. My wife ordered the poached peaches. Terrible value and quality. Can't believe we paid $26 for this mini portion. Get some friendly staff who are engaged and take some more time matching portion size with price and it could be a real winner.

Absolutely blown away with the great customer service here, very accomodating staff and friendly service. The kitchen had closed before I arrived and was still offered some food, they truly went out of their way to make me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. The coffee is delicious, the toasties I ordered which we’re prepared by the front of house manager were great and I got to enjoy it all with a nice view of the bay. There are a lot of businesses that can learn from this kind of customer service, I will definitely be returning here!

Love the setting, views and the fast service offered by on of the young lady there (we never got her name). The downside was the price and unfortunately the 20%surcharge for Saturday 20th April. I had thought that only Easter Friday and Sunday were public holidays but the restaurant told us Saturday is also a public holiday, which seemed rather odd.

Coffee is always great here. Staff are friendly. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our meals. We ordered baked eggs and the cauliflower curry, they were both quite watery with very little flavour. We were surprised as we had eaten here before COVID and the food was fantastic so not sure whether they have new chef/staff. But the price definitely didn’t match the quality of food.

The location is nice with views of trees, green lawn and sea. No doubt a popular and we'll patroned venue. We attended on a hot Sat afternoon about 2pm when demand was begining to quieten off. There was a lovely alfrescoe area shaded by a large tree. We sat on the front balcony, bench. The lass who served us was a bit "curt" and did the very basics...not overly helpful about the Covid QR code for non tech savvy people like us. The short lunch menu read nice but sounded a bit much (questionable value for money $22-25) for what we fancied- there were no 'light bites' and so were considering leaving. The menu indicated a specials board. Having left my partner to find out about them inside, I was told there were no specials. On returning to our spot on the bench, I happened to see some meals on tables and thought the portion was reasonable. We chose the fish with salad indicating to the curt lass we'd like to share it, please. My partner and I were deep in conversation when she arrived, placing the meal down infront of me, and if she said anything before she retreated, I couldn't tell you. We took a brief moment to become aware of what was needed and the waitress was about to disappear from view when I queried the presence of cutlery as the holder had none. She paused in the doorway a replied with a slight air of annoyance and a gesturing flick of the hand, 'It's there'.. I quickly turned and looked down lifting my arm to clear the view and there was indeed two sets of cutlery on a napkin that was obscured from my immediate view, and feeling a bit of a dill, I just got out an 'Oh, Thank you!', as she disappeared. At which point we pondered the lack of a spare plate, so we made good use of the napkins. The meal itself was lovely, the fish was fresh with nice light crisp batter, french fries and a dressed leaf salad. We might have opted to have a glass of wine or a coffee if the waitress ever returned to us...perhaps she didn't want to interrupt our chat? Later, I sort the loo and found the now customerless inside area being vaccumed. It might have been about 3.30pm. I didn't know when they shut but the alfresco area was in use with lounging wine drinkers be we took our coffee erge elsewhere. ...I could have just written that to have a more friendly and informative interaction with 'service' staff would have greatly improved our experience here beyond that of the pleasant ambiance, view and food. But you may have a different person serving you...

We had Breakast at Edina this morning & could not fault our overall experience Aside from a “slowish” service start, this was more than made up for by our very positive & outstanding Breakfast experience. Our food came out piping Hot, was fresh, tasted amazing & we could tell that the produce was of excellent quality. Table service was friendly professional & very welcoming, as was the service when we were leaving. Beautiful food, coupled with a crisp rose and views of the waterfront. Couldn't ask for more. Some of us had the pasta marinara (delish and so fresh), I had flatheads in beer batter (also so fresh and yum). The daughter chose some build your own breakie - with half avocado costs $7 (!!!!!) - avoid.

Was a bit disappointed in Edina. The food is ok but expensive. An example is the 6 dollars charged for a mushroom side which is just a basic small side of button mushrooms. Coffees are extremely slow to come out. Staff are lovely but won't be rushing back

Enjoyed a lovely big bowl of Portarlington mussels in a creamy garlicky sauce with big slabs of chunky toast, whilst being spoilt with the amazing bay view and attentive, friendly waiter service. What a wonderful way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend this little cafe.

Everything is great here and is worthy of four stars, however I am sitting here unsatisfied after paying $16 for the Calamari dish which had 4x small morsels of calamari in it. It was cooked to perfection and the accompanying salad was great. So it took me 2 minutes to eat it while my wife took over 30 minutes to have the fettucini with prawns and chorizo. By the way she had more prawns than I had slivers of calamari! Which is more expensive???? I have been to cafes that serve bowls of calamari as its so cheap. So Edina's is pulling a fast one here. What a rip off! Suffice to say the staff and rest of the menu look great. Disgusted and will not be ordering that meal again. Here I am with time on my hands enough to write this review. Will never get this ten minutes back.
