Comments of Grain Store
Y. B.
The whole experience was incredible. Super friendly service. The food was yummy. Fair price and the portions are very well served. Their coffee is good but the house blend is a little bit too acidic for my taste, however, their mocha is the best I have ever had, very well made and balanced. I had two and I will definitely get back there to get another one before going back to Sydney. Looking forward to coming again
C. Y.
Nice presentation and food taste is awesome. Definitely recommend it for breakfast. Coffee is a good choice too.

This was a very special breakfast for me and my partner. We decided to go here for breakfast for our anniversary before we had to go to work. The staff are super friendly. The coffee was great. I had a batch brew. And the food was really exceptional. I had eggs Benedict and my partner had the French toast. Thanks for the special breakfast guys!

The Grain Store is quite a popular spot in the CBD, so much so that it's not advisable to rock up without a booking. If you do during peak times be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes.
Having waited though, you will enjoy not only attentive service but warm interiors and a really fun menu. My partner had the most popular dish on their menu, the Blue Spinner Crab Chilli Scramble which she really enjoyed. I had the Sweet Corn Fritter, note the singular because it is indeed one fritter. The heroes of the dish are the toppings, avocado, asparagus, halloumi and an excellent dressing. The coffees are great as well.
So make sure you have a reservation, enjoy the brilliant food and try and don't notice the only thing that made me knock back stars - the background noise. The background thrum of noise and music got to a point where neither the waitress nor I could hear each other.
As to the question of going back to The Grain Store - we'll definitely be booking a table soon.
K. N.
I loved my experience here! The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and nice.

-Open when all other venues are closed

Good food, friendly staff, decent coffees and proper cocktails.
The sparkling water is not free by the way, consider yourself informed.
They've got pastries on offer too, and plenty of good selections before breakfast, lunch and brunch. Decently sized portions too and them being situated in the CBD (walking distance from the Southern Cross station) makes them perfect for catching up with friends.

A great little brunch place in the CBD. Your typical Melbourne brunch cafe affair; but some unique items and flavourful items. Big call out for the steak sandwich and the salmon risotto.
Place can get a little busy and the staff can sometimes be a bit rude and not as friendly as you'd hope. Overall solid for food but nothing too special.
j.
Good ambiance and food. We ordered the eggs benedict, smoked salmon, and carbonara
B. D.
Yum! Good coffee & beautiful food. I was feeling indecisive so chose the breakfast board & it was delicious
M. D.
Love the foods. Love the coffee... really nice coffee
M.
→ Food was so delicious! Although more pricey than your regular brunches, the meals are more substantial so will keep you full.
→ Coffee was also yummy!
→ Very easy to make an online booking.
→ Customer service was great but could improve. Staff weren't very friendly.
K. K.
We ordered the Father’s Day feast over the weekend, and I must say, what a pleasant surprise! Ordering was easy with the help of Mel, and delivery was painless... Simple instructions for each course, and everything was fresh and tasty, can’t fault anything to be honest... I would definitely recommend, and will be trying more of their delicious dishes! Plus, they added a couple of nice touches that weren’t on the menu... Amazing!
K. R.
Breakfast was great. French brioche amazing! The coffee was good. The brand of coffee was a little bland though. Barista 10/10. Staff were lovely and very attentive .
E. K.
This joint is always busy on the weekend so you should always try to come early or make booking if possible. The food is your standard brunch menu, nothing stands out for us. Service and the vibe are great along with the coffee. Price is a little expensive for the quality of food you getting.
Food - 6
Service - 8
Vibe - 7
Price - $$$

This place always exceeds my expectations. Grilled pork belly was Divine - one of those awkward situations when you almost feel like licking the plate!
Coffee is amazing - smooth rich aromatic and flavoursome. Can't get enough of this place.
G.
Great service and good food. It wasn't as delicious as it looks but it was good enough.
S. N.
came here a few times, this is the third from my memories, tasteful food as usual, reasonable price, however everyone talks so loud, it's so noisy inside that I can barely hear what I said
T. P.
Excellent food in a nice little cafe. First time we tried to go here we didn’t make it as we had no booking. This time we booked ahead, which is a little strange for a brekky cafe, but it was totally worth it. The food and drinks were excellent and the service as fast and pleasant. Had the beef cheek brekky, was delicious. Would come back again for sure.
J. S.
This place has been in our list for a while, and so we decided one weekend to go for breakfast. It was pretty much packed and we were asked if we had any booking, which we didn't. The staff was kind enough to accommodate us, and asked us to wait for around 10-15min till a table is available.
We were finally seated, and a friendly staff took our orders and fetched us the coffee.
We ordered the Salmon Omelette, served with house cured salmon, green goddess avocado, lemon ricotta, over a toasted focaccia; and the Blue Swimmer Crab Chilli Scrambled Eggs, served with chilli caramel, over croissant and aioli.
Both were perfectly cooked, and just loved them!
Definitely coming back to this place, and this time we will book in advance :)
A. P.
Excellent on both the food and the coffee fronts. Would particularly recommend trying the turmeric latte - I haven't seen many cafes serve anything quite like it. Can get pretty crowded during lunch time so if you're coming with a group of more than 2 I'd recommend making a reservation.
C.
Ambience was lovely, such a cute, cosy cafe. I ordered the chilli crab scramble, I don't usually like eggs but this dish was flavourful, creamy and the croissant tasted delicious. Service was good, however the only flaw was I asked if the lamb cutlet was served medium and the waiter said yes, however when it came, it was more rare. Hence the 4 stars. Overall, good food and recommend to give it a visit.
D. L.
Came here for lunch on a public holiday. The cafe is quite busy and popular, with some nice brunch and lunch options. I had the crab, egg and croissant option which was well presented and had a variety of flavours. The cafe is fairly spacious with a homely and aesthetic vibe. The staff members were friendly but a little frantic. Overall definitely recommend for brunch.
R. o. L.
That was the most amazing brunch!! I had the grilled chicken which itself was well cooked and juicy but even more the sides were just as amazing! (<—I haven’t that been surprised by mashed potatoes before). We had the most gracious waitress named Jasmine and even Melanie came up and greeted us. What a great environment with top top top quality food! Definitely coming back here!
... also, as an avid coffee drinker, I can honestly say the beans here are soooo good!!
J. L.
Had the chilli scramble crab and eggs Benedict. Both were extremely nice. Coffee was also very good. Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is very spacious. Waitstaff were attentive and responsive. A little bit of a wait to get seated so bookings are probably recommended.
Has a surcharge on weekends/public holidays and additional surcharge for card payments.

We stopped here for brunch last weekend on Melbourne, on recommendation from the apartment concierge. This did not disappoint. Lovely, friendly vibe on entering the busy cafe, menu & water were given immediately on arrival at our table. The menu is lively and fresh. The corn frittas were yummy, and coffee great!
O. K.
This cozy little space in cbd is all about good vibes, run by extremely energetic and warm peeps.
Loved the decor, and our cute little table to devour food.
The Steak Sandwich and the Japanese PanCake with Salmon were a winner. The Potato Gnocchi was equally amazing. Cold drip and chai were excellent.
Darn expensive, the only hindsight of the experience compared to the portions....But no regrets.
A. A.
Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming. Amazing food and coffee.
S. S.
It on our top list! Absolutely good food n good service! Especially the cookies n milk, fresh bake on order! Cookies can buy separately if still available, unfortunately we didn't manage to grab some! Definitely will go back if have chance!
N. P.
ordered the gnocchi, pork benedict, chilli scramble, and beef cheeks. love the selection of food in the menu, everything seems interesting. but food was okay, ambience is really nice and friendly service. portion sizes were quite big but prices were on the higher up as well.

Ordered their Steak and it was pretty good and well portioned, although taste-wise I'm not too used to having coriander in my steaks
The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming!
The price range is a bit on the high side for the lunch menu. However, I'm looking forward to coming back for the breakfast menu (before 12pm) in the future, it sounded pretty good!
S. M.
Great service. Really good food, great coffee. Recommend making a booking as they do get very busy.
M. S.
Posh delicious city brunch spot. Dishes are creative and imaginative. Don’t like the weekend surcharge. Coffee is on point mind you.
T. N.
Bagel was lovely. Fresh, crisp & lightly toasted with a perfect egg. Coffee a nice morning pick up. Service was prompt & attentive without overbearing. V reasonably priced. Highly recommended. If we had any suggestions - pls turn up your great playlist!
I. L.
Busy place. Needs a bigger sign as we were looking for the place while right outside it. Great coffees and excellent food.
Been here for breakfast and lunch, food is excellent and I have not had a bad dish here. The wait can be really long though, especially if you are in larger groups (>4 people).
Food looks and tastes excellent.

Possibly the BEST brunch for a long time! We finished our training sesh this morning and decided to visit Grain Store. Havent been since covid I almost forgot how good it is. Literally wanted to try every single dish on the menu. Finally settled for Prawn pasta, lobster benedict, crab scrambled eggs and Grilled asparagus & cauliflower. OH WOW! We were dancing when food arrived! FULL of flavours! Great presentation! So much texture! I can't even fault anything. You know what made today's brunch even more perfect? Service!! I always loved it when service is good and this place's service is next level! You can just tell the manager loves her job and she's SO AMAZING! Coffee was nice and strong. Will be back very soon!!
T. M.
The Grain Store is a slightly refined café with excellent food and reasonable coffee. Well priced to.
The single origin espresso I had was really nice with good flavours but the piccolo latte was only ok (that's more to do with the fact they use St Ali which I consider an average roaster than the barista who made it who was good).
Service was good and efficient with friendly professional staff.
I had the portobello mushroom dish (pictured) and my partner had the omelette both had nice flavours and were good sized portions.
I was recommended this place for lunch so will be back at some stage to try that.
The space is clean and minimalist with nice touches like the coat/bag hook (pictured) and a big cold drip tower on display in the middle of the room as a coffee lover that was nice to see.
Recommend this place for a more refined breakfast and lunch at a good price point. Thanks for the nice start to the day.
N. M. C.
What a hidden gem!! Firstly my coffee was absolutely amazing the oatmilk mocha it was so smooth and the temperature was just right then came the food it was just delish 👌 nice atmosphere the staff there was very attentive and friendly love love love
K. K.
Menu changes but always a good variety of food. Great coffee and juices. Good service, nice staff. Breakfast always has a line, but well worth the wait. There is also and indoor waiting area with seats, that's a plus! Good atmosphere.
K.
PREPARE TO WAIT - WORTH IT. Came here on 24/8/19 at 11:15am for brunch, said to be a 25min waited about 30min for 4 people. Very very worth it, the food was all amazing and great quality. Would 100% recommend all of the food and would go back tomorrow!!
M. H.
Went around 11:30am on a weekday. They were very quick to seat us and serve us. Food arrived pretty quickly after we ordered, and was delicious. They also allowed us to stay after our meal to chat, and weren't quick to chase us away like some other restaurants do during peak hours! Fantastic service.
a. p.
Nice spot in CBD, terrific food. Excellent customer service. The waitress always check that we were having a good experience.
L.
I found this place by google search.
Even though it’s only 10:30am, it was so crowded. After some waiting, i sat at a share table.
Long black was so so but lemon cake was super good. I want to try another bread and brunch.
All staffs were good and kind.
A. C.
This place is clearly popular and with good reason. The range of food and hot drinks on offer is excellent, with creative flavour combinations that set it apart from the competition. Staff are polite and friendly, and service was prompt. Decor is tasteful and unfussy. Seating a bit crowded and you can expect a bit of a wait of you're not dining solo, owing to the popularity of the place, particularly at weekends. Definitely recommended!
K. M.
Have had brunch and lunch here and they are both amazing. It's slightly pricey but the food more than makes up for it and the coffee is top notch as well.
You will probably need to make a booking if you want to come during brunch or lunch as it gets quite busy.
G. &. A. H.
This place is a hidden gem! You would hardly know it is there from the street but do yourself a favour! The food is perfect! Decor beautiful too!
M. C.
Breakfast with a twist! Amazing staff and the food is generous portion. Get in early if you do not want to line up.
M.
Definitely recommend coming here for breakfast or brunch! Great atmosphere, the staff is friendly and on point. Even at the busiest times of the weekend the order came out quickly! The food is absolutely delicious. It was well worth the 15 minute wait (they said it would be 30 minutes). Made the mistake yesterday to leave and go to a nearby venue and out of the two this is the best pick!
T. R.
Finally, a cafe that takes professional, unobtrusive service very seriously. Couple that with excellent food, superb coffee and a very comfortable, relaxed but bustling ambiance and it is no wonder there is a wait for a table.
Somewhat hidden away (as all superb Melbourne cafes are) in Flinders Lane on the Kings Street side of the city I’m surprised it has taken me so long to find this gem. The extensive menu has a great mix of traditional brunch cafe combined with interesting twists on the originals.
I had the corn fritters which comes with two perfectly poached eggs, a fresh lightly seasoned salad and Generous wedges of avocado. It was a beautiful surprise to discover the salty toasted Halloumi cheese hiding on top of the fritter under the avocado as a nice juxtaposition of salty against the creaminess of the avocado and corn.
My dining companion enjoyed the salmon fillet with A fresh, zesty salsa-inspired salad alongside creamy risotto.
Another unexpected highlight was the excellent freshly squeezed juice. A refreshing kickstart for our day.
I will definitely come back to visit grain store again soon. There is much more of the menu to try.
M. D.
Came here to grab a quick coffee as per recommendation from the concierge at our hotel.
This place had a great buzz to it and had people waiting for tables. They have an area where you can wait with chairs which is a nice touch.
Coffee was good and the pastries looked amazing. Unfortunately we had already eaten breakfast but would’ve loved to try it had I had more time in Melb.
J. K.
Amazing brunch, food and coffee! Highly recommend the Blue swimmer crab scrambled eggs! Amazing!!
s. l.
This was the first stop after our redeye flight, and we loved the pork belly benedict and the croque madam. The bircher muesli was a healthy start and was fab with coconut, nuts and a hint of spice. They also do excellent coffees, as well as great hot chocolate.
We also had ordered a triple chocolate cookie and carrot cake - the cookie was good, though I found the carrot cake to be rather sweet.
Service was friendly and warm. Do expect to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a table on weekends.
We returned here for breakfast a couple of days later and it was fabulous. The ricotta pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious, while the rosti was flavourful and went well with the woody aromas of the portobello mushrooms.
They open at 7 am and staff were cheerful and had a friendly ‘hello’ for all customers.
This restaurant is a must visit.
S. A.
One of few places that are innovative in their menu! Everything that we had was amazing! We had the mixed mushrooms & poached eggs and portabello mushrooms & Gruyere hash. If you want a well balanced meal that isn't your stock standard "run of the mill food", this is the place for you! If all of this hasn't convinced you to try these guys... how about fresh baked cookies to order. You heard right, fresh baked cookies to order.
B. D. (.
You want a breakfast...then this is the place for you...service with a smile and nothing was too hard...I had poached eggs with hollandaise sauce with beef cheek and mushrooms...it was to die for...brilliant...so do yourself a favour
C. Y.
Good, Coffee & service are absolutely amazing 🤩
M. Y.
Searched this place out based on reviews on a recent holiday in Melbourne. Fantastic venue with great food (I had the savory French toast...wow!), great service and awesome coffee. My only criticism is it can be a little noisy. It’s obviously popular as after getting there about 9:30am a line started to form and there was quite a wait, so I’d suggest getting in early.
D. P.
Amazing breakfast and brunch place, with some truely difficult decisions presented by the menu. Take the advice of the friendly and knowledgeable staff as they will help you home in on the best dish for your tastes at the moment.
I ordered the ricotta pancakes with banana ice cream, raspberry coulis and diced mango with passionfruit. If you have the chance, try as much of this menu as you can.
J.
Busy atmosphere but fast service. Ordered the mushroom and potato rosti and the smoked salmon avocado brioche. Both so flavorful. So impressed they used paper straws!
S. H.
Great brunch, cocktails and juices! Bacon steak was perfection, pork belly was crispy, blended great with the almond hummus that melts off in your mouth. Service was awesome too. Thumbs up from elderly parents too!
M. K.
Nice food, but a bit noisy since it is crowded and popular place. The one thing I would love to say to this place is, please open outdoor seat.
They do have outdoor tables but wait staff says they do not use it. I guess it is because of people just walked out without payment...
N. K.
Great food. It was a busy time of the day and year. The staff was outstanding. Service was awesome.
M. L.
Great breakfast. Came after the breakfast rush on a weekday so no wait time for me. Coffee exceptional. Love that they use NotNeutral coffee cups too. Staff were very friendly but they forgot my coffee which I had to
subsequently ask for.
A. S.
The staff were very attentive and lovely. Poached eggs on toast and pancakes were ordered after coffee and freshly squeezed apple juice. The homemade tomato relish with the eggs was a treat and tasted great. Interesting flavours in the poached fruit on the pancakes with a nice spice. Worth the visit and trip across town.
d. v.
Absolutely spectacular. One of the only places open early on Sunday - but we’re so glad we stumbled into here. The flavor combinations were unexpected by breathtaking. And the pear croissant was impeccable. I purchased some coffee when checking out because their late was just absolutely delicious.
H. V.
Absolutely love this cafe. Great coffee, delicious food and friendly/ attentive staff. It gets very busy during lunch time so there might be a longer wait for a bigger group.
M. L.
Tea lovers come here! First time I've seen tea served properly. Leaf tea brewed before it was served to the table, tea leaves in basket is removed and placed on the side should you wish to brew longer. So much attention is given to coffee in Melbourne it's refreshing to see a place giving tea some much needed attention. Food was lovely.
n. t.
Very good cafe.... great vibe excellent food and exceptional service ... definately going back there again.
Y. G.
Friendly staff, waiting time was not much. Excellent service and amazing brunch breakfast lunch menu. Luckily, we could order from breakfast menu.
S. L.
A fancy and warm store for coffee, pastry, and food. I had my lunch here with a grilled chicken. It’s above my expectation and I will definitely come again.
G. E.
Met friends for breakfast and a coffee. Food was excellent and the coffee couldn't have been that bad as I ordered a second! The service was quick, efficient but not as friendly as other places I'd visited during this trip but it was still pretty good. Be prepared to wait for a table as your not able to book a table if there are less than 4 of you. Also, you don't have unlimited time to relax and take your time as the table is often booked for another sitting. Still enjoyed it and the display of baked goods was incredible. I showed great restraint not over indulging after my large breakfast! :)
N. R.
Really great service in a cool location. Food was delicious, but one or two more vegie options would be appreciated
I.
It was recommended by a mate. I couldn’t fault the place. The food was great and the staff were friendly. The coffee was amazing too. I would highly recommend it.
M. T.
Awesome place for weekend brunch in the CBD. And they take reservations, which was awesome! We had the Portobello mushroom and gruyere potato rosti, the sweet corn fritters and broccoli, and grilled spiced cauliflower and carrot falafel and all three dishes were delicious!
J. C.
Awesome eggs breakfast! The staff were attentive and gave good service throughout. Order the milk and cookies for your dessert. By far the best brunch place in Melbourne CBD area.
l. j.
Very nice place, it was my first time. I loved the menu and my roasted asparagus with corn fritters, carrot puree and poached eggs was very tasty. The freshly squeezed pineapple, pear and mint was very refreshing. I will come back for sure.
A.
Definitely recommend, the food is so nice 👍🏻 My partner and I came here for brunch and had a good feed. Staff all very friendly also 😊
R. T.
Excellent food, very nicely decorated. great service too. Perfect place for a brunch. Arrive early if you don't want to wait for a table.
p. k.
Absolutely loved it!
We were a party of 8 people and we had booked in advance. There were so many things to love about this place.
- We got our table at the booking time not a minute late (and not a minute earlier)
- They served the food for the entire table together and also made sure everyone’s was still hot and fresh
- The food was amazing. I am vegetarian so I had ordered the pancakes with mango and I’ve cream, I wanted to cry. Everyone else at the table was also extremely happy with their food
- There was no rush once we got our table. We weren’t disturbed unnecessarily with the issue everything ok’ but still the service was available as and when needed
- The searing isn’t cramped. The tables are spread neatly and the table sizes are big enough to hold the food you might order which many places these days forget
Few things to keep in mind
- If you are planning on going I would say make an appointment even if it’s a table for 1/2, it’s a busy place and you will have to wait outside
- Once the appointment is made you can be sure to get your table only at the appointed time. They might give it to you a few minutes early depending on availability but it’s highly unlikely
Why I give it 4 stars
- I would have liked to give it a 4.5 really but not a complete 5
- The coffee wasn’t that great
- The pancakes, though super delicious, weren’t the best I’ve had
All in all I did like the experience, would definitely recommend it. I might even go again to try the other vegetarian options.
O. S.
Decent breakfast place in this part of town. Good quality Melborian mains and variety of deserts. Coffee is good too. Prices are around $20 - $30 for a main dish and surprisingly cheap $3-$4 for a dessert.
P. D.
Wide variety of unique brunch and beverage options and the food was very tasty too!
S. M.
Melanie and her crew are the masters of service. The food, delicious, the coffee, perfect, the sense of feeling warm n welcome, on point. Highly Recommended👍
c.
Very, very noisy, though the food was just delicious and very original.
Staff efficient, however, we were never offered 2nd coffees.
C. J.
If you want a bit of a luxe brunch (think lobster eggs benny) in a quieter end of the city, this is your spot. But I suggest booking. Very accommodating of dietary requirements. Service was great and food served quickly. Great coffee too.
Treat yourself to the fresh baked cookies with milk
Y. H.
Fresh and flavourful food, in a space that’s warm and welcoming. Be forewarned, you will likely face a wait time of up to 30 mins (particularly for Sunday brunch), but this brief inconvenience will be forgotten once you’re digging into your meal. I’m a fan.
L. T.
All day brunch. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service, perfect for a 3 hour catch up with besties.
Highly recommend the miso glazed salmon with the 62 degrees egg!
J. H.
I went there around 10am. We should wait 15mim. Not too long, and worth it.
We ate mushroom&poached egg and pancake and omelet. Pancake is different it’s thick.
Except for this everything was perfect.
Coffee and food were served on time.
Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
If i have guest from other city or country, i would bring them to here.
M. W.
The hot coffee isn't the greatest, but their food and cold drinks were good. A bit loud due to the hard concrete aesthetic and a bit over crowded.
A. T.
The food is amazing and perfectly cooked. The service is personable and attentive. The manager/owner who is German was so nice. A must visit place.
M. L.
Ordered the Japanese pancake with smoked salmon. Whilst the salmon was perfectly cooked with a great Miso flavor, the pancake itself was mushy and had a terrible mouth feel.
Whilst the menu is well priced, the coffee at $5 is simply overpriced.
C. B.
Amazing amazing amazing food!! We had the pork belly, ox cheek, salmon and chorizo...all were amazing but the pork belly was my pick of the bunch!! Quick fast service and coffee was great too...keep up the good work guys!!
K. M.
Found on trip advisor so we thought we would give it a go. Warmly greeted and seated promptly the staff were very attentive and lovely. Poached eggs on toast and pancakes were ordered after coffee and freshly squeezed apple juice. The homemade tomato relish with the eggs was a treat and tasted great. Interesting flavours in the poached fruit on the pancakes with a nice spice. Worth the visit and trip across town.

Certainly a hidden gem, this very busy little cafe is a treat with incredible dishes both savoury and sweet.
Our party of four stopped for a meeting and were provided a quiet room down the rear of the venue which suited our purpose very well. Very quiet and comfortable. The rest of the cafe was quite noisy and very busy but did not affect our meeting.
Tried their “Chai latte soy” - very nice; and comes in its own little teapot.
R. L.
Blue swimmer crab scrambled eggs and croissant were delicious! The fresh made cookies were pretty good too
b. k.
Went there three times already and the food and service is always excellent. Today I tried their porridge with rhubarb and turmeric. Omg, it was the best porridge I ever eat in my life. Soo delicious. Definitely will come back for more. Yum 😋 😋 😋
Thank you 🙏
S. J.
The most delicious asparagus and haloumi omellete and my almond milk cappuccino was devine. Wow.
C. B.
Really interesting and delicious selection of foods. Not just the standard egg and egg and more egg brunch, but a range of savoury and sweet dishes to tempt a range of of palettes. I am currently on a keto diet and had a plate of sides including crispy haloumi, bacon, wilted spinach and house smoked salmon, along with a side broccolini/lemon ricotta/garlic/chilli. All were delicious and served in generous portions. Nice coffee too. Only downside was we were seated in a smaller room at the back which was really noisy. Not unbearable, but noticeable. Our waiter Tristan was attentive and friendly. Overall a great experience.
K. V.
Bright cafe with an upbeat vibe. Extremely popular so expect to wait during peak times. Great menu with a good variety of cakes and pastries. They also do a great Tumeric Latte if you're up for something fun.
J. W.
Great venue, great food, great coffee. The breakfast board was delicious.
J. C.
Food was amazing. Made our weekend in the city extra special!
T. C.
I got the chorizo bowl and it was amazing. Satisfied every spot and expectation of a chorizo bowl. Finished the meal off with some freshly bakes cookies and milk. Absolutely loved the fresh cookies.
J. W.
Food is great and staff very friendly! Great cafe to visit when in Melb CBD
K. B.
Good coffee, service and food! Grain Store can get pretty crowded during the weekends. Nevertheless, food and coffee were good. Recommended to come in a pair or group of 4s max!
F. c.
Amazing breakfast. A gem to find. We had the pancakes, the smoked salmon and the mushrooms. Every dish was beautiful and so well presented. 10 out of 10
P. L.
Went back to have their delicious cauliflower risotto which wasn't on the menu anymore. Ordered the Roasted Mixed Mushrooms instead which was equally delicious. I don't think I've tasted anything creamier than this before-so divine!
C. G.
I liked it a lot. Staff were helpful and the chef went off menu and changed my Salmon omelette to a chorizo one. I thought that was a nice touch
T. P.
The place was cute and neat. It's very clean and the staff were all nice and friendly. I ordered something about fruit and nuts in it haha, and my friend ordered salty ones (I forgot). The portion was good, but looking at the price and portion I think they're not matched, the price was a lil bit over.
R. H.
Amazing little cafe with a hidden space for small functions / parties. The foods look and taste amazing and the staff are fantastic as well.
A. C.
Great spot for brunch, excellent menu and the staff were amazingly attentive and fun.
B. M.
Been to this cafe a number of times while staying near Southbank.
The food and coffee is delicious, decently priced and the staff are lovely.
Be aware it can a little busy during peak times and a 10-15 minute wait for a table may be required.
H. L.
Came here for brunch. Amazing food. Great service. What more can I say?
M. M.
It's a really comfortable cafe in CBD!!
Foods are expensive.
Coffee by Sensory Lab was good!!
The customer service was nice as well.
K. F.
The food was incredible but the Host/waiter that seated us was not. Was rude when we asked for a table, told us to wait and then rolled his eyes because we didn't follow him to the table.
I. S.
Unfortunately had a bad start to our brunch whereby we placed our name on the waiting list but were somehow removed and forgotten about even after we were ushered into the allocated waiting area. Ended up waiting for about an hour and only realised what must have happened when we saw people who began waiting after us being seated. Apart from that the experience was good. Good coffee, the ricotta pancakes which I had were quite nice, fairly well done on the bottom but I ended up liking the crunchy outside compared to the soft inside. My wife had the gnocchi. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were very tasty but she found it a little salty (it wasn't to me). I still found the overall experience to be an enjoyable one despite the hiccup as I felt like it was an honest mistake.
K. C.
It's been a blardy long wait, but was worth the visit after lockdown. Food and service still amazing as ever. PS the milk and cookies are to die for.
D. C.
Great Food, fast service and nice ambience. Gorgeous pork belly Benedict with Potato Mash - tastes as it good as it looks!
R. M.
We've been here a few times and it's always delicious food. Today I had the potato gnocchi and zucchini flower with asparagus, cauliflower in brown butter. Service can be a little cold. But always efficient.
G. K.
Absolutely amazing food. Service was excellent. Staff so friendly!
E. A.
A bit of a wait to get a table on a Saturday morning but food was delicious (I had the wild mushrooms and poached eggs) and I loved my fresh spirulina juice. Only been there once but I would definitely come back
W. K.
Small brunch joint, typical Melbourne style. Serve great coffee and breafast.
H. W.
Very nice brunch and coffee. Recommended for coffeenatics!
K. C.
Great place for brunch service was great food was delicious. Quite an assortment of cakes and slices in offer.
H. K.
Great services... coffee was magical and food was amazing.... staff are friendly... will be back!
c. f.
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and most important delicious flavourful food.
N. B.
Delicious breakfast options, gluten free bread avail and eat in or takeaway available as well.
G. H.
We booked a private night time function and the food and service was amazing. Looking forward to the next function there
C. W.
Great brunch food. Proper brunch tastes and great coffee. Do expect a long wait if you visit on weekends (60+ min) which is the reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars.
S. P.
Tasty, albeit unusual breakfast options. I had the smoked salmon with avocado, poached egg (fried in batter) and salad. The rolls and croissants look inviting, for next time. Update: I came here again especially to try the rolls and I'm not disappointed. Would come here again. NB they don't have WiFi here if that's important to you ;)
J. F.
Great food and quick service! Wheelchair accessible entry however you would probably need the first table near the door as the rest of the tables are squished in, luckily it was free when we got there.
S. W.
Awesome food with large servings. Good for sharing. Professional service. Love the pancakes!!
E. M.
Amazingly good food! The chefs here are amazing! Menu, service, design, ambience, staff! ALL 5 Stars! I love this place
B. B.
Bit of a wait but they got through the line quickly. We got to order coffee while waiting. The bacon bagel was amazing. So was the like and coconut pancakes. Pricy but worth it
E. (.
service is great. just had their pork ramen noodles. AMAZING! Best I've had....ever!
S. D.
Great location, friendly staff and great service.
Food + cocktails = delicious!!
K. E.
We had our team Christmas lunch here and it was really good value. I liked the fact that we had crackers (bon bons) at our place settings, not many places in Australia seem to do this. We had opted for the set menu and the appetisers came out really quick, maybe a bit too quick, however, they were most accommodating when we had to tell them that one of our group was a vegetarian, it was no problem and they brought a suitable starter over. I guess for me the only dissapointment was the pork belly I had chosen could have been hottier and the crackling could have been crispier. But all in all a good place to visit.
T. S.
Very busy Flinders Lane cafe. You may need to wait a little but worth the effort. A nice menu, good size meals and friendly service!
P. L.
Amazing beef cheeks Benedict and chorizo and mush omelette. Our table was by the open kitchen and watching the attention and flair the chefs apply in plating up this beautiful food added to the experience.
S. N.
Excellent place for lunch. Although not having been out and about for a while I was not used to prices 15-30 for brunch per person add a coffee each. A 10 minute wait and good turnover though we weren't feeling as though we were rushed. Good variety of cafe food steak sandwich with french fries is nice, Japanese salmon pancake, Mushroom with poached eggs.
A. O.
Really loved the food and great service. Always found a table for me even when busy. The quinoa porridge was amazing. Looked like a curry with eggs but sweet and delicious.
P. S.
Had a great breakfast here. Very cool café with really good atmosphere first thing in the morning. Decent coffee too. Would come back again.
C. P.
Highly recommend for brunch!! Coffee is nice and the food are amazing. Staff are very friendly and the cafe is cozy.

Went for Saturday brunch. Staff weren’t very helpful about the table situation when we first arrived / were in the queue. One waiter just ignored my question about availability and said ‘he didn’t deal with that’ then walked off. They then said it was full, even though there were 6 seats outside not being used. I asked about the spare seats and they said they were booked. Then 2 mins later came back and said actually they weren’t booked and yes we could have the table 😂
Once we did get a table, it was great service and the food was yum!
H. G.
Not the first and not the last time ro be here. The Grain Store is where you get 5 stars on your full experience. Thanks Lily for great help, you are the best.
S. L.
Yum! First time here in many years and the quality has only gotten better. Lamb with polenta chips definite made my day!
R. A.
3 of us went on a Saturday with no booking, the place was full but we barely waited 2 minutes for a table. Service was awesome, oat milk mocha was amazing. I had the breaky board but I found it a little underwhelming. The avo toast was very small and cold, the fritter was also barely warm. The bill was over $100 so kinda pricey for an ok experience.
T. V. (.
Some fantastic selection of food eaten from this cafe back on 2018. Would recommend it top anyone in Melbourne
L. H.
Great service, welcomed with a smile. Brunch was the best I have had in Melbourne. Reccomend a Flat White with Mushroom, Rosti & hazelnut hollandaise.
S. B.
While our stay in Melbourne, we tried everything from the breakfast menu, and the dishes varied from top-notch to even better. Seriously, there wasn't a dish that I wouldn't recommend. All been consistently great. They looked great, they tasted great, and were priced great = reasonably.
The ambiance was cozy yet tasteful. Reminded us of European cafés. The staff was attentive and friendly, so was the owner.
Can't recommend this place highly enough.
A must-go when in Melbourne!
S. (.
Yum yum yum. 2nd time having breakfast here and it was just as good as the first. I'll be back again.
r. h.
Love the service and ambiance. Great place for catching up
G. C.
Delicious food and drinks! Good coffee! Good costumer service! Just a really good experience!
D. L.
Love the food here but wait is so long
E. A.
A bit of a wait to get a table on a Saturday morning but food was delicious (I had the wild mushrooms and poached eggs) and I loved my fresh spirulina juice. Only been there once but I would definitely come back
C. R.
One of the nicer places to have breakfast in the city.

To say this cafe is my favourite Cafe in Melbourne is a great understatement! Mel and the team make the Cafe feel more like a second home and foster such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The food is genuinely amazing and you can taste the passion and creativity in every bite, though this sentiment bares some biased the steak sandwich is easily the best Melbourne and the lobster Benedict will speak for its self.
E. G.

Beef cheek was good. Long q on Sundays best to go before 10am
P. C.
The coffee is really good, food is average, price a little bit expensive.
S. O.
The food is excellent but the service was average. Try the ox cheek Benedict and salmon brunch meals. The bloody Mary was horrible so don't bother with that.
W. L.
Fresh food with huge portion. Coffee is by sensory lab and is good too
B. S.
Beautiful setting makes you think you're in the country. Very attentive and friendly service. Absolutely delicious and innovative takes on brunch. Highly recommended
A. S.
Best brunch with seasonal menu and new meals, but it also keep popular meals in the menus, expect to wait 20min at Lear to be seated on weekends.
B. a.
Very nice atmosphere and the poached eggs were so yummy the best I've ever tried!! And the staff were so friendly.
W. D.
We had the blue summer crab chilli scramble and the lobster eggs benedict. The crab was perfect, but the poached egg on the eggs benedict was overcooked. There wasn't nearly enough hollandaise sauce for the eggs benedict, which was odd considering the chilli crab came with a generous amount of sauce
We pointed this out to the waiter and they brought out maybe 2-3 tablespoons worth of hollandaise on a little sauce dish which was good, but it wasn't complimentary. A bit upsetting considering the dish didn't have enough to start with
All in all, a good brunch but one star less for the lack of sauce and overcooked egg
L. B.
Fantastic service, delicious coffee and incredible food. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The service was fast. They also very kindly volunteered to move our booked seat to a quieter spot when they saw I had a baby with me. I had the sweet potato tart and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.
J. L.
Awesome food and coffee. Menu varies from time to time. Crowded during lunch hours hence not an ideal chat place, at least not at lunch hours. On the pricey side ($$$).
F. W.
Great porridge i've tried in Mel. Really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Just hope next time I don't have to wait my coffee when I'm finished.

Lovely brunch location
a. s.
Before judging the food, the stuff are sooooo welcoming and friendly 🌹
Thank you
A. B.
Great for a morning breakfast meeting, but get in early before the hordes. This is a very popular place for the business breakfast crowd. Menu that changes with the season but always has sweet, savoury and vegetarian options. The coffee is good. The staff are professional and the prices pretty reasonable for the city.
G. C.
Delicious food and drinks! Good coffee! Good costumer service! Just a really good experience!
C. T.
Really nice food. Good for breakfast
w. s.
Nice and different. Really busy on weekend, need to expect waiting up to 15 more mins
W. Y.
Friendly staff and great coffee. The poached eggs I had were overcooked though.
M. N.
Very nice brunch place with good selection of savoury & sweet pastries and coffee
J. H.
The staff are attentive and the meals are a good size for the price. I would happily return here. The entrance is easy to walk past if you're not paying attention though
E. K.
Grain Store is the ultimate foodies' brunch destination. Without question, doubt or hesitation the best menu and cuisine in its class. If you don't compromise on quality and taste, you eat here. No discussion. Steak sandwich is also known to induce ethereal / out of body experiences - would recommend.
s. c.
One of the most amazing breakfast in Melbourne, and a wonderful buzzing atmosphere. Glad I found this hidden gem. 😍
G. P.
Just had the chocolate chip cookies and they were amazing!
T. C.
Fantastic taste and portions
E. W.
Service could be better, busy cafe, cozy atmosphere, pricy but food was good.
s. g.
This place has the best coffee in Melbourne with the best food literally the portions are pretty big as well filled with flavour with welcoming staff.
T. R.
Excellent food, in a difficult period!
Order the meal for 2 at home via the Grain Store online store and was delivered the next day. The food was awesome, really quite amazing value and a testament to all the hard work the team are putting in to keep the company going and keeping me well fed.
Thanks to all involved, highly recommend getting Grain Store at home.
S. X.
Service is impeccable, beautiful venue and their baked cookies to order are super comforting!
T. V.
Nice atmosphere. Awesome food. Tried the lobster eggs benedict and the crab chilli scramble. Both delicious. Fast and friendly service, too.
K. L.
It’s an amazing place, food is really good
H. W.
Would recommend the blood orange bircher muesli. There is a bit of a wait though but definitely worth a try.
E. P.
Nice vibe, interesting food! A bit pretentious that I was denied my request for table water, due to the jugs being too "ugly". Resultant service was overbearing, staff coming by once every 3mins to refill my glass. My suggestion? Get different jugs if it really matters this much.
M. S.
Great food, good coffee and homely feeling, but a tad expensive. Overall, the experience is worth the money. The muesli is to die for.
h. s.
Nice brunch spot, ice chocolate was superb!
S. S. A.
Had brunch at this famous cafe in Melbourne CBD. Staff members were really welcoming. Food was great with nice presentation and cooked to perfection. Coffee was just alright I would say, with okay presentation and taste. I had one single origin filter where there was no information card given for the coffee. It didn't feel like a specialty coffee shop where enough care is been given for presenting a cup of coffee.
J. S.
Very busy but well worth the wait! Food was increedible and the staff were very friendly and accomodating.
E. J.
Had weekend brunch here. What an awesome venue! Variety of food and drinks on offer. Our food was so fresh and delicious. Very popular venue especially the weekend, so always good to book ahead. Exceptional customer service. Even though the venue was so busy, Brianna took time to explain the special of the day to us. They are also very accommodating with dietary requirements. Highly recommend the Grain Store.
R. M.
Excellent food full of flavour. Great service. I can't wait to come and dine again!
A. S.
Perfect coffee, perfect brunch. everything was perfect. Too popular to get.the.a seat- 30 minutes waiting.
S. S.
The photos on the interior don't do it justice...it's a nice feel and well done. The food is beautiful. Well put together, incredible flavours and nicely presented both for dine in and take away. Full credit to the head chef. Classic selection of choice wines.
The coffee is expertly brewed and has not been burnt in any way.
It is a little pricey which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.
V. R.
Had the sweet corn fritter with avocado and halloumi with poached eggs. Everything was cooked well but the dish was quite bland and lacked seasoning... Not a dish I would try again. Coffee was nice. Service was ok. Stools were quite uncomfortable and a bit low for the table. Decor inside was nice. Overall a pretty average experience.
D. M.
Lovely breakfast. Nice surroundings, great staff and lovely coffee. If you're down that end of Flinders Lane, definitely worth a visit.
J. X.
This place is awesome! Great menu and always changing. But can be a little pricey.
C. L.
Scrambled eggs with gluten free bread was delicious. Probably the best gluten free bread, very light and fluffy.
Granola was also amazing, good mix of fruit and crisp coconut. Loved it.
Unfortunately coffee and hot chocolate weren't to our taste.
Service was awesome, everyone was friendly and attentive. Thanks for a lovely breakfast
S. v.
Lovely coffee shop with a good sized menu. Food was great and coffee as well. Their pastry and treats display looked so tempting that we couldn't resist.. I really loved the chocolate and mandarin tart.. 😋 We had to wait 15 minutes but it surely was worthy and I am definitely going to come back!
x. v.
One of the best brunch , light tasty and pleasant atmosphere...
M. T.
Great service, good coffee and tasty food with lots of variety and good vegetarian options.
We found the lunch servings quite generous and we're both big eaters. To those who complain about portions sizes: are you used to all-you-can-eat buffets?
B. L.
Coffee is good and friendly staffs. Food was good too..
P. H.
Glad to be back after the 'ronas. Coffees are solid, and they offer a diverse menu. Brunches have always been tasty & well presented.
K. R.
this is a really busy spot so be prepared to wait. you can put your name down on a list and grab coffee while you wait in the lobby next door. it's worth the wait though as the food is delicious. I wanted to try so many things so it was hard to make a decision. plenty of vegetarian options and I had the gnocchi which was yummy. good prices for the service and food and the decor too is cool.
D. D.
Great coffee and beautiful atmosphere. Food looks quite amazing as well, will have to return.
E. W.
Beautiful decor, fabulous breakfast delicious coffee. A great start to a gloomy Saturday in Melbourne.
Shared the "Portobello, potatoes and eggs" and the "Ricotta pancakes" and both were exceptional.
We were offered a little chocolate and orange treat at the end of our meal which was really good too!
S. K.
Busy little place, we had the fritters and the pancakes. Both were delicious.
A. H. (.
Wonderful service and amazing food. I got the ricotta pancakes and initially when they arrived I thought it was a bit small but I was utterly stuffed full by the end of the meal, couldn't even steal my partners mushrooms. The whole venu was a bit of a noise assault for me and I'd usually prefer the music set a bit quieter. My partner loved the coffee and lamented the lack of a venu like it in our whole state.
H.
I thought I don’t need to wait. But I need to wAit to be seated. Food was amazing but coffee was ok. So crowded.
J. B.
Myself and partner googled the best place to have breakfast and the grain store came up with several others . We decided to go to the grain as the food looked amazing in the photos . We got there and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated and I can tell you it was worth the wait. I’d wait longer now knowing the food you are going to be served . If you are In Melbourne you can not go pass this place . We are going back today , love it . The staff are great , the music everyone bantering . Just a awesome vibe. Oh and the coffee Spot on . ENJOY
O. Z.
My partner and I went to the Grain Store on a Saturday morning around 11am. There is already a queue outside, the wait was approximately 20 mins. There is an indoor waiting area where you can sit. Once seated, each one of us had a coffee while looking through the menu. The coffees were made well. I ordered poached eggs on sour dough and my partner ordered sweet porridge. Both dishes were tasty. The overall experience was great. Note: There are enough Gluten Free options on the menu.
A. D. O.
Absolutely loved the breakfast here! Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. Extensive menu with lots of dishes I'd love to go back to try! Really had difficulties choosing what to order... And almost ordered way too much!
T. B.
I really enjoyed the food here. We were 4 people and all of us enjoyed our meals. 3 of the 4 dishes were generous portions. Splitting bills is no problem as well. Just be prepared to wait 30 mins for a table. They put your name on a list and call your name when your table is ready. They can deliver you takeaway coffee to the waiting area so you can talk over coffee while you wait.
T.
A busy brunch spot. Book if you can. Service could be friendlier as we got the feeling that they weren't happy with the fact that we didn't have a booking. Food was fantastic. Flavours are there and the portion was good as well. Give this spot a try when you're in Melbourne
E. B.
Loved the food, it was delicious and has a lovely atmosphere.
A. K.
Top quality food, they change the menu every now and then, but it has always been consistently great. Ambience can be a little bit noisy but it’s cosy. There is a long wait especially during weekends but it isn’t too bad. Staffs are very attentive and definitely one of Melbourne’s hidden gems.
A.
Don’t be confronted by the line; despite being a group of 7 on a public holiday, we got a table pretty quickly. Service was friendly and the vibe inside wasn’t like they were trying to rush you out. Great coffee, and nice enough food.. still not 100% sure what the hype is for as I didn’t see anything that couldn’t be achieved elsewhere.
S. M.
Great coffee and food with a wide selection available. The prices are fairly expensive even for Melbourne standards.
Y. Y. N.
Tasty brunch with cuppa coffee made my day
P. U. (.
Been many years since I have been here but greeted like a long lost friend. Breakfast had many choices lots of vegan which is nice, the bacon as a side is good. My small gripe is toast at breakfast is not a side it should be included imho. Coffee is good as expected. Will definitely go back when in this part of town, as a a single diner communal table great place to read the paper over a second coffee, good service too. Cheers
K. L.
One of my favourite places in Melbourne.
It can be difficult to get a seat at times, the first time I attempted there was a 45 minute wait and the second time there was a 15 minute wait (must more reasonable). Smaller groups (i.e < 4 people) were seated faster as you would expect.
The food and coffee were delicious, I had a salmon and avocado on toast. The salmon was thickly sliced and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Other person with me got the bacon steak and it was cooked to perfection.
The quality of the food and service well made up for the wait.
R. S.
It's ok. I won't say outstanding. Contrary to what I read prior to going, someone mentioned the serving size was large. I regret to say not really. It's merely ok. Nice environment, great coffee but is there a bad coffee in these places? :) personally I prefer the pancakes at Higher ground.
K. S.
Good coffee, comfortable atmosphere and tasty food. Great for vegetarians!
M. V.
Absolutely delicious coffee and juices. However this time the menu simply didnt click for us. My friend had miso salmon, while concept sounded yummy, the fish was a tad too fishy for 8am in the morning.
I ordered a pork belly breakfast but the meat didnt feel so fresh.
I guess menus change each time so I would like to come again when they have a slightly different options.
E. V.
Fabulous food. The coffee is fabulously strong and well made. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately you can’t book so make sure you are happy to wait for up to an hour for a table. It’s a popular spot but worth it- and you can enjoy a takeaway coffee in the foyer while you wait.
G. M.
Despite the place being absolutely chokers we weren't made to feel like we were overstaying our welcome once we'd finished our plates. The staff were plenty friendly and attentive. Can't fault the food and I now have the distinct honor to proclaim that I've eaten at a breakfast cafe with an enforced wait list.
K. C.
I've somehow ended up here for Brunch most times I've visited Melbourne. It's clearly nearing institutions status given its popularity but we didn't have to wait too long when we got here, esp compared to some ridiculous wait times at other places. The food is delicious and varied (whether you're after traditional egg dishes, or something unusual like pork Eggs Benedict or pork belly for brekky!). The staff are also very pleasant.
A. M.
The food here is awesome! I had the bagel with a side of fried Haloumi and it was delicious.
Our table of 7 all had fantastic food experiences!! Check out the ricotta pancakes- equal parts decadent and healthy.
The staff were lovely too..
N. H.
One of the most popular brunch cafes in Melbourne CBD. Not most centrally located in the city and fully packed on the weekend around lunchtime but nice variety of food (price ranges from $15-30) and pastries. Also one of the best coffees I have ever had. Grilled cauliflower and lamb was very nice but sweet corn fritter and salmon was quite average. Definitely coming back and recommend to anyone!
B. S.
The food here is pretty good. The location is a tad dark, lighting wise - so you might struggle to take good photos of your food, which is probably one of the main draws here. Coffee is also pretty good. There's often a line - so I would try and make a booking, if possible.
R. S.
I had the avocado and corn fritters with eggs which were decent (nothing too amazing) but the person I was with had the portobello mushroom and eggs dish which was way too buttery, funky and really difficult to eat. Overall, the place was okay but I wouldn’t eat there again. Coffee was good, though.
L. F.
Friendly staff seated us quickly. The coffee was great. The food was filling and the portions a good size.
I had the Portobello mushrooms with potato rösti - really yummy.
We arrived just before 10am on a Sunday and didn't have a long wait for a table.
Worth a visit.

Awesome Friendly Service and the Food was Beautiful🤤👌🥃
T. N.
An amazing place we had our work Christmas gathering and the food was amazing. The setting and feel was so relaxing. Highly recommend.
D. P.
Great service and a lovely atmosphere. The salmon with eggs and cucumber Kim Chi was awesome and the breakfast bagel was delicious. Cold drip coffee was a great way to end the breakfast too. Will definitely be back.
J. W.
The portobello mushroom was really good. The provide a good portion of mushrooms. It includes two poached eggs, spinach and really tasty potatoes. I also liked their hollandaise sauce. The pancakes on the other hand were good but nothing special. When I want to eat something sweet for dessert I tend to be biased towards heavy chocolate which might explain why I found the pancakes just ok. Nonetheless I recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
S. M.
One of the best breakfasts I've had while in Melbourne. Superb coffee. Great veggie options. Quaint interior and nice outdoor seating, though the location isn't really near anything else interesting. Staff friendly enough.
J. H.
Classy, spacious, with good coffee - and the aircon makes it a good respite from the city heat.
R. B.
Pretty amazing breakfast. I had the ricotta pancakes. So much flavor! Really delicious. Coffee was also pretty good. Chefs seem to know what they're doing. $15-$25 breakfast, but worth it.
S. B.
Quick breakfast visit. I had a selection of snacks (all tasty and fresh) and a good coffee (not awesome but good). I wish I had more time to sample their menu - it looks great. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. I will return.
J. T.
I always love this place! It's bright, warm and cosy and the food is always great. Also good for takeaway snacks - both sweet and savoury. Everything is pretty and clean. Favourite dish by far is the fresh baked cookies and milk.
Line can get long in peak times, so get here early or be okay with waiting. There is a nice lobby to wait in if you don't want to wait outside but not much seating.
C. N.
Top class coffee and the bacon/avo bagel was phenomenal.
C. R.
One of the nicer places to have breakfast in the city.
S. B.
The food was great and it's very well decorated, in a cosy country way, but it's always really busy. I highly recommend booking, if possible, or the wait can be a long time. The downside is that it's very noisy, and the rooms out the back echo a lot. The food is delicious though, and the menu is quite unique, so I'd recommend at least 1 visit to try the food.
K. C.
A very busy cafe. The first impression is “surprised” because of the front house manager and the cashier girl is impatient and rude to their customers. Other front house staffs are very nice. The food is ‘just average’ - my mushroom is too salty and burnt, my friend’s food is cool. Sorry, We will not come back again....
J. B.
DELICIOUS food!! Beautifully presented and ravenously consumed. As well as the pancakes we enjoyed a hot chocolate... made with real chocolate! A high chair was quickly brought out for our son and he loved his babyccino. A great variety of cabinet food was also available for those looking for a quick food fix. Definitely pleased we found this place!
S. C.
Been here multiple times for brunch! Go early as there’s always a line. The food portions are huge and very generous. They make amazing matcha latte. Can’t fault this place, great local cafe :)
A. D.
Great coffee and fantastic food! Absolutely loved our trip to this cafe, the food is excellent value for what they have on offer, and there is a variety of drinks to chose from. Great for breakfast/brunch/lunch.
J. T.
Amazing flavours with a cute Cafe interior
E. T.
Beef cheek was good. Long q on Sundays best to go before 10am
P. M.
I've been having my weekend breakfast at the Grain Store regularly for the last three months. First off, the staff have been wonderful! They're always attentive despite the busy atmosphere. They've taken the time to get to know me & regularly have my earl grey ready as I'm sitting down. Amazing service! The food is impeccable - Tastefully prepared & presented. I'd highly recommend the portobello mushroom with a side of bacon. The spirulina juice is to die for! Though, there can be a wait during the weekend hours, I can safely say it's completely worth it. This cafe has quickly become one of my favourite spots in Australia & beyond.
N. W.
Ordered the ricotta pancakes which was delicious! Definitely a recommendation for breakfast. Other than that, the food menu didn't really interested me.
It gets usually super packed during lunch and weekends; if you don't know what to do with your free time you can line up here 30+min.
J. R.
This is the absolute best place for breakfast and lunch!!!!! Ever!!! Never ever disappoints, menu changes sometimes weekly, anyone and everyone who loves very well thought of dishes, preparation and delivery of it, they walk the walk and can back it up talk the talk, exceptional greetings, service and overall just good experience of coming here, mad if you don't!!!

Full marks to this terrific little cafe. Always busy when we visited for breakfast. Coffee top notch and consistent. Chefs do a great job on the food: tasty, varied and quick to arrive at table. Serving staff quick efficient and friendly

mostly due to lack of options for all diets and the need to ask waiters to specify what you can eat instead of having symbols such as [v] and [gf] etc
🌱- one vegan option, various vegetarian options if you eat eggs.
☕ - great coffee, almond & soy available.
🕒- wait times can be lengthy during rush times, but easier for late lunches.
It's good when it's not the brunch / lunch rush - easier to hear the people you're with, waiters more attentive (water isn't left but served.)
I find it a bit ironic that it's called "Grain" and their bio is "passion for food that is equally rich in tradition, inspired by Mother Nature herself" yet they only have ONE vegan option on their lunch menu.
In their defense; the spiced cauliflower is delicious. The flavors blend together creating a perfect meal and you're left full (I've had it twice and it's hard to finish!)
Weekend has no alternatives option so I have never been as I can't clearly see a vegan option apart from the Bircher Musli.
[edit] i upped the stars because I've since been back a few times and the cauliflower is still incredible

Good place for lunch if you're in the Southern Cross and downtown area. They serve a healthy spread of sandwiches and kitchen selections. Coffee is good too! It can get very crowded during lunch hour, do prepare to queue but food served relatively quick. This place is good for weekend family dine-in as well.
K. B.
Service was fast once we got a table, we had to wait for 25 mins to be seated. If you are going at midday it is real busy so be prepared to wait, but it worth the wait because the food is good and beautifully presented. Staff are friendly, the place is run very efficiently. It felt a little bit too busy inside.

I've been to The Grain Store a few times now and I am always impressed at how great the service and food is. The cafe itself is eye-catching and aesthetically appealing, and the food is honestly to die for. Everything on the menu always sounds so delicious and you can't go wrong with just about any that you pick. Also, their desserts might sound simple, eg. milk and cookies, but the cookies and made to order and are absolutely mouthwatering. I would go back for the cookies alone.
J. N.
This brunch place has wonderfully creative breakfasts with a spate of classics, too. Coffee was great. The Grain Store has a gorgeous pastel themed design and the service is very good. Be prepared to wait to get in, however.
A. F.
Had an amazing breakfast time! Ordered the delicious bacon and mozzarella bagel (with eggs and avocado, it can't get better than that), staff was really friendly, comfy space, loved the calm atmosphere and the pastries display!
P. S.
Soooooo @grainstore517 is a pretty happening brunch place in the city even in the worst weather possible. Would have absolutely loved to have more vegetarian savory options in the brunch menu as I literally was looking out for a classic something on toast but had to customise a very expensive meal for myself (turned out to be $10 more expensive than the meaty options) which was ridiculous.
But I guess my friend enjoyed hers and you shouldn't have a problem if you enjoy meat as there are ton of options. The ambience is great too and theres normally a wait to get in during brunch hours!
H.
Staff are very friendly, atmosphere and food are great. Expect a wait if you come at a busy time (we waited ~10min).
I hope they can extend their vegan options, I had the brocolli frittas which were delicious - the salad accompanied was even better.
My friends had the muesli and the fruit and yogurt bowl which they didn't enjoy too much but my other friends had the pancakes , omelette with potato and salmon, and lamb and hash which were great!
B. M.
Great coffee and mean as omelette. Heaps of staff so you were never left wanting. I thought it was a bit noisy for 8am but my colleague assures me it was a nice noise.
K. C. C.
One of my favourite local cafes! Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but it's always worth it and the food is AMAZING!
D. F.
We had an amazing experience at Grain on the weekend. We turned up on a Sunday morning on Grand Final weekend. We had no idea how popular the place was and after eating there I understand why. Not just that but when we asked for a table the Manager looked after us as heard that we had to rush to get a flight back to Sydney. Amazing service and fantastic food. Thanks so much!
E. G.
Wild mushroom omelette is easily one of the Best omelettes I have ever had. Family friendly atmosphere and amazingly good food and coffee. Try the cold brew to go once you are done with breakfast.
D. M.
What a great spot just outside of the heart of the city! An extensive menu supplemented by a multitude of mouth water pastries and cakes. This is a well tuned machine with the operations of the cafe being meticulously managed. The coffee is smooth and the food delicious. Prices for dishes hover around the $20 mark and I always resent paying $5 for a side of avocado. Sitting outside is a nice option to avoid waiting for a table and the hustle and bustle of this cosy cafe
J. T.
Menu items (breakfast) are mostly a bit different to classic dishes which is fine but just too alternate for me when the dish arrived. Too many things on the plate. Nice atmosphere though.
L. H.
A healthy spread of baguettes, salads and quiches will have your eyes drooling at first sight in this bustling, chic cafe. Serving size is generous. The food and juices will make you feel good about yourself and your taste buds won't complain. I only recommend ordering from the menu after 11am rather than the food on display as the bread can get a little stale. Service was very chaotic. Whilst being seated, we were told we only had 40mins to eat despite there being at least 5 other available tables. This isn't a big issue but it just made me feel a little unwelcomed.
J. &. J. M.
Fantastic friendly service, couldn't fault them! The food was so delicious! Best breakfast we've had in a long time. We will definitely be back!
D. L.
Love the food here but wait is so long
J. C.
The menu was unique and delicious. The service was also very good. We had a great time. They were however quite busy so making a reservation, especially for larger groups would be a good idea.
J.
Seasonal menu which is varied and delicious. The service is phenomenal just like the food and coffee. Save some room as they have freshly baked goods on the counter. Favourite breakfast spot in Melbourne.
L. G.
Been in this place few times. The good thing is they change the menu regularly, so you can always find new menu to try. The downside is waiting time. But I think it’s common issue with a good review place. Queue for entering and queue at the cashier as well. If you have plenty of time, sure, it’s a recommended place!
F. L.
Everything was excellent! The food was delicious, with a very wide offer, sweet and salty. Service was so kind and always there for you. Definitely one to recommend and to repeat!
C. T. J.
Very busy at 8am on a Tuesday morning in December 2016, service very quick and only spot for 1 was the shared table which is on a low stool. Had to put up with annoying young group having a team meeting with one young female who could not stop talking. Food and drink order taken quickly.
Eggs were delicious and coffee was good but they did not listen to my extra hot request, but this is Melbourne. It is noisy.
A. T.
AMAZING food! Great service and so quick, perfect place for a good weekend brunch x
t. l.
Awesome eggs breakfast! The staff were attentive and gave good service throughout. Order the milk and cookies for your dessert. By far the best brunch place in Melbourne CBD area.
B. B.
Food is okay but not bad. Service is nice. I ordered green tea latte.. They gave me a cup that was dirty on the tip and around the cup with dried coffee stains all over it.. I would not come back again though.
J. L.
Came on a sat with no reservation. We were given a choice of the shared table if we want to skip the queue. It was actually a room in the corner, with mosquitoes flying around. Was quite surprised with the fact that the eatery actually accepts such eating environment and explained that they have sprayed some stuff etc. We opted to wait for a full table in the main dining area. Food was great but the experience in the shared table was not so pleasant.
J. -.
We always make sure to come here when in Melbourne.
The coffee is amazing, perfectly brewed and full of flavour. Their teas are delicious and also come perfectly brewed, with the leaves set aside in case you like it stronger.
Their menu is to die for and well-priced considering the mountain of food you are served. We definitely recommend the mixed mushrooms on sour dough.
And their cakes and pastries! Wow.
The only thing is they are always packed, so make sure you book or are prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for a table (you can usually nab one outside if you don't mind being on the street).
T. L.
Excellent coffee. Excellent vibes. Great food. Although this time I went the pork belly wasn't as soft and the skin wasn't as crispy. Probably went at a bad time but this takes away their consistency score. But otherwise great place.
R. D.
Service was friendly but slow despite that the café was half full.
The lunch servings were big big size portions but were inadequate in flavor.
The fresh juices are very good. The coffee was ok. The baked pastries were alright.
V. P.
Food was decent... depending on what you order. The bagel and rice porridge was nice. The portobello mushrooms were dry and the potato rosti was too salty.
Staff on the other hand didn't make for a great experience. The barista couldn't tell us which of the drinks were soy, then proceeded to take a best guess anyway. Also, when we walked in the baristas told us to take a seat, yet we were ordered back to the front door by the waitresses whilst they "organised a table" for us.
Unlikely to come back.
A. L.
The breakfast menu here is excellent. Something to suit all tastes, and the wait staff are efficient, attentive, and good-humoured. For lunch, the sandwiches and salads are great value and very tasty.
G. B.
Really strong coffee, very yum
B. A.
The Grain Store sets a new standard in "fine" Cafe dining. Clean atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and exceptionally presented food. Salmon omelette and Nutella brioche were both sublime. Coffee was a little weak for my liking, but is still a favourite among the public. For those looking for an "up market" experience
B. C.
One of the tastiest breakfast dishes ever! (Portobello mushrooms) I have had it a couple of times. There other breakfast dishes are great too but the portobello mushroom stands out!
I don't drink coffee but there are a lot of people drinking it - so I assume it is top notch too.
For dinner - its still good but breakfast is what they excel at.
Not too cheap but the dish size is good. Highly recommended.
D. J.
From the welcoming when we arrived to the moment we sat down to order. The service was impeccable. Food was a super tasty, though on the small side, it was surprisingly filling. Either come in after 11pm as it fills up early and the turnover should happen at that point. Would definitely come here again.
S. S.
The passionfruit ricotta pancakes sounded delicious reading it from the menu, however it easily exceeded my expectations when i tried it.
I wasnt sure where to eat breaky this morning but clearly i chose the right place.
Good quick service and friendly staff.
Well worth the visit!!
s. g.
Great food with super friendly staff, would recommend making a booking though
J. L.
Excellent food, above average coffee/tea. They tend to allocate couples to tables meant for four to allow for privacy.. but this also means you can expect a long wait (>45 min) for a table for Sunday brunch
S. P.
Couldn't fault it - coffe was superb and the breakfast was great, I had the bcon and mozzerella bagel and it was perfectly cooked and tasted gorgeous. Atmosphere was buzzing and as a single guest it was a friendly welcoming environment with great, helpful staff. Loved it, will definitely stop back here before I leave Melbourne.
C. L.
Incredibly delicious food, with a very creative menu. Be sure to try their roasted pork belly, it's simply amazing. Do arrive early as there tends to be a 30-60 minute wait for a table.
H. B.
Great brunch spot! Food is outstanding. It's generally very busy with a wait for tables inside, however tables outside are normally empty - if you ask you'll be able to sit there, but you may have to order inside. Bit chilly, but work skipping the wait!
M. M.
Had breakfast at The Grain Store today, and the food was simply delicious. After a shaky start (we had to wait a long time for a table and our coffees went missing), we sat down and and the manager apologised the moment she heard about the mishap, also promising that coffees would be on the house. Despite the fact that the cafe` was super-full, the service was attentive and with a personal touch. We ordered cotechino sausage with egges and lentils, which was incredibly tasty, and French Toast with pear and ice-cream, which turned out to be delicate and exquisite. Things got even better when it came to settling the bill, when we found out that the manager had given us a 30% discount on everything. An amazing place and the food is truly to die for, will definitely be back soon.
C. A. C.
As a chef... I would reallly raccomend this Place....food excellent, service excellent, location really nice...perfect Place to have breakfast and lunch in Melbourne. Coffee and fresh juice Amazing. One of the best restaurant i have had so far...👍👍👍
U. S.
A long wait for Sunday brunch but worth thr wait. Attentive staff, creative food with a nice twist on some of the ususal brunch faves. Splendid coffee too. Relaxed atmosphere and once you do get a table, the service is prompt.
B. W.
Fantastic place! Not the most picturesque location, but the decor and 'feel' inside is nice. The breakfast selections are all a little different, and very very tasty. Coffee is really nice, good strong flavors.
G. F.
Easily one of the best cafes I have been to. The staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food and coffee were amazing. Try the pancakes, they're to die for!
I can certainly see myself returning for breakfast every time I'm in Melbourne.
L. W.
The quality of the food and coffee was outstanding and extremely memorable. However, an excellent dining experience was diminished by the quality of service we received from some of the staff who served us. Almost as soon as we walked in we were treated as an inconvenience by the man who greeted us and a request for hot water to add to a lukewarm coffee was questioned by our waitress. Disappointing considering the rave reviews posted by others.
J. L.
Great food good coffee, friendly staff. Worth the 5 ⭐
A. M.
Located at 517 Flinders Lane Melbourne this place is not in the heart of the shopping precinct but you wouldn't think so. It certainly has a reputation and it shows. We arrived at 9am Sunday morning and were asked if we could wait 15mins for a table to become available. We were asked to wait in the foyer of the building which was quite comfortable and warm. It was less than 15 minutes before we got a table. The staff were quite attentive and the menu had lots of variety as well as all the little cakes and savouries near the front counter. Food was yummolicious and the coffee was GOOD!
D. S. T.
My absolute favorite place for breakfast/brunch in Melbourne. There is a reason why this place gets packed so easily. The food is absolutely gorgeous with some interesting combinations that work wonders. Your taste buds will thank you. I wish these guys would come to Sydney to open a cafe.
D. Z.
Nice deco, makes you feel warm and cosy, friendly staff. Single O of the day is great! Good place to relax or catch up with friends/clients. The pop up dinner menu looks good too.
N. T.
Efficient and friendly service, good coffee, interesting and tasty menu offerings. I tried the smashed greens with avocado and polenta which was lovely. Ordered a side of roast tomatoes which can often be a little disappointing, but here they were delicious sweet and slightly caramelised. A very busy and popular spot, so you may have to wait to get in...
B. I.
Great breakfast. Very good long black coffee.
M. B.
Came in at 9am Saturday after being recommended to try here. Unfortunately it was a 30 min wait and you can’t book a table.
We came at opening time on Sunday instead and the food was amazing best meal we had in Melbourne. Definitely worth the wait.
M. J.
Great breakfast menu with lots of options! Quite busy on the weekends so expect to queue. Great coffee, great food and great service.
H. F.
Awesome place, in a quieter part of the city. Wait times are a bit long as it’s generally busy but food is on point and a good selection. Friendly staff were accommodating with our baby too.
P. V.
It's so good there's always a line out the door. The coffees and teas are great. Even just there base long black has a great flavour due to the mix of beans. Plus of course there are amazing flavoured lattes, tumeric and matcha were some of the highlights.
The actual breakfast is really great, my favourite is the hamhock, the pancakes are not how I like them but obviously everyone has their own perspectives. Even the juice is good.
I go here regularly for breakfast when I visit Melbourne.
M. K.
Had the chilli crab scramble, served with a croissant, was perfect. Coffee was great too.
H. V.
Went here on Sunday morning for breakfast. Maybe a little bit too experimental for us but still nice. No kids menu is a big let down. Coffee was nice and pastries looked great.
K. S.
The name did not appeal to me, but I was taken by the rav reviews penned on this place.
Without any expectations, we ventured here for our Sunday breakfast.
My - lots of people for a 9 o'clock fare! We got a table and coffee was swift on the cards. The menu, extensive.
I had the Egg Sundae Royale with bacon on the side. It was the most amazing Egg Royale I ever savoured!
Never judge a book by its cover, and good things are certainly worth its wait.
If ever in Melbourne city, this IS the place to be for breakfast or brunch!
D. R.
Favourite coffee and brunch stop in Melbourne
J. E.
This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Melbourne. The menu is fantastic and the service is fast. If your looking for a great spot for breakfast in the area - look no further.
V. B.
Cool space, but what in Melbourne isn't? I had an awesome bacon and smoked mozzarella bagel with a fried egg and chipotle mayo which I'll come back for when I have a chance. Good coffee. Not entirely sure about the menu for kids but can't say i was paying too much attention. :)
B. K.
It's a wonderful place with a bright and positive atmosphere. The food we tried was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time there and are eager to return. It's remarkable how it seems like a hidden gem as it is barely visible from the street.
L. B.
Lovely food. More brunch-y than breakfast but very tasty nonetheless. There might be a bit of a wait as the place gets very busy but they do take booking and the food comes out very quick.
r. h.
Love the service and ambiance. Great place for catching up
P. L.
food was value for money. pleasant and cool vibes from the staff, shoutot to them! had the egg sundae royale, which had an very interesting mix of flavors and one of the best brunches I had in melbourne. the passionfruit and ricotta pancakes were very light, perfect for a dessert to share.
R. P.
Cafe was completely packed and full. I was here for work meeting, the waiter looked at my very displeased when I said I only wanted coffee not food.
H. B.
Coffee is great! We also had the lemongrass and ginger tea which goes down well after your meal. The pork belly and apple slaw is lovely, a little over bearing after a few mouthfuls though. The lamb shoulder is to die for! Everything works so well espically the beetroot purée. Hand's down one of the best brunch meal's I've ever had.
T. L.
The food was delicious. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. Some dishes can be quite rich but there are certainly lighter options. Great for a work breakfast meeting.
J. T.
Great staff - Great coffee - Great food...what more do you need?
D. J.
After going to Bowery to Williamsburg on a Friday morning with my wife and having a bad experience there due to a rude older staff member, we wanted to try The Grain Store in the afternoon to see how it compared. We have to say The Grain Store is far better in every way in our opinions. The staff here are really great, the food is fantastic and it is far more spacious. We will be going back here for sure and also promoting The Grain Store to all our friends, we couldn't fault this place.
S.
Most amazing breakfast! The Cotechino and Punpkin Halloumi Blini, and Buttermilk Brioche French Toast and Spiced Pear were a fantastic start to our Melbourne experience. Staff were incredibly friendly and the cafe itself was well styled, cosy, very clean and a really nice set up. Would definitely come again!
A. N. H.
Nice staff, good quality coffee, delicious breakfast, a bit pricy though.
T. W.
Very well priced for lunch. Excellent quality food, great vibe in the eating area, and the variety of items on the menu is spot on for a business lunch. Meals were served quickly. Will definitely be back!
K. L.
Absolutely popular and crowded cafe. Always a long wait.
Parents with toddler or pram, best not to go or at least leave the pram outside. Way too crowded to push and squeeze your heavy duty prams between tables.
Very friendly staff. Good food.
Multi storey carparking right opposite.
M. M.
A lovely place to have a perfectly cooked omlette or bananabread for breakfast. The staff is friendly and always looks after you. Just the coffee tasted a little milky and wasn't as hot as I prefet it.
J. A.
Another busy Melbourne brunch spot - can wait a little depending on the time you arrive, but the food is worth it. My boyfriends favourite Melbourne breakfast spot, great food and excellent coffee.
H. P.
Outstanding food quality for the price. Staff were fantastic and very welcoming.
If you want to know an amazing Cafe too visit in Melbourne. This is the one.
N. H.
DELICIOUS!! Tried the takeaway menu... beef ragu and cauliflower... WOW!!! Generous serving too!! Thanks Grain Store team!! We will be back :)
S. G.
really nice food in a comfy setting, great coffee. the only trap for new diners is how badly they manage the room. you can book which leaves tables empty when people are late or dont show, and they seat groups without the whole group present which doesnt happen other places. couples are seated at tables for 4 which is just poor planning. however you can put your name donw and wait in the foyer of the building which has a couple of seats.
E. N.
Good food + good customer service + child friendly
Y. I.
Good food, horrible Karen manager
K. B.
Food and coffee are amazing! Absolutely top notch with an incredible and creative menu. The only thing that stops it from being an incredible overall experience is the unfriendly and somewhat rude waitstaff.
J. A.
Great Melbourne CBD spot for breakfast/lunch. Came on a Thursday morning and was packed. Had the mushroom and egg breakfast, superb! Can't speak for the coffee as didn't have any but looked great. Excellent spot. Afraid no wifi if that's what you're looking for.
S. K.
Grain Store food and coffee is always top class. A bit pricy, but totally worth it.
The cold brew with coffee ice cubes is some of the best I've had.
Y. Z.
They've changed their menu last week so when I showed the picture I found on Urbanspoon(Zomato?) to the waitress I got told that it was not on the menu any more.
But the food I got was equally good - can't remember the name but it's got something to do with mushroom. Loved it!!!
And we 4 girls shared the cheesecake as well - it was delicious!!!!!!!!
Pouring rain in Melbourne, but we still had to wait for 40 mins - but it's worth it! :) Will come again to try other food as it was really difficult for us to choose from the menu...
Z. P.
This place has a slight farm kitchen atmosphere. The staff are nice and the food it OK. Lots of interesting flavour combinations on the menu. Reasonable prices. Overall a pleasant experience but nothing that stood out.
S. A.
Golden turmeric drip latte is great, wonderful spices. The wagyu flank steak is tender and sauce has a lovely flavor, complementing the meat in a subtle way! Delicious
A. H.
Second time here after 5 years! Food is still as good :)
A. B.
Delicious veggie fritters. That's a pretty mean feat. Good coffee. All the single eaters are shunned onto one table but it's positioned so you can people watch, so it's not so bad I guess
R. H.
Original, delicious and fresh menu, with excellent coffee and service. Can be a bit of a wait for a table on weekends, but it's worth it. The milk and cookies (baked to order, straight from the oven), are a must.
J. B.
Had a very nice salad here and good service. Only complaint would be it’s a bit loud. I think designers of restaurants have to pay attention to, not only how the place looks, but also the acoustics.
M. J.
Not happy about the slow service. Host told us 30 minutes but we had to wait over an hour for brunch without even an apology. I was so hungry by the time we were seated that I practically inhaled the food. Portions are too small. Food was ok but really unhappy with the service so definitely wouldnt go back or recommend this place.
K. H.
Delicious breakfast! This cafe was an oasis on a cold Sunday morning. Cosy atmosphere and excellent service, thank you Siri for the recommendation.
A. “. D.
Busy spot for coffee and brunch. If you are looking to catch up with friends for a chat, you may want to reconsider as it gets very noisy. The service and food were good.
G. A.
Always a great experience! Excellent food selection and wonderful staff.
