We had the plain beef pie with chips and salad with relish (Relish was AMAZING) and the bacon burger with chips. The food was really delicious, good sized portions and nice warm plates. We also had the brownie for desert, with chocolate sauce and cream. They also have frozen pies which you can take home; we took a few. We had cold drinks, the daily smoothie and an iced chai tea (they were nice and cold). Fantastic service and they also kindly gave us directions to the Toorongo Falls Walk.

Excellent coffee, very nice indoor seating and outdoor seating on the verandah and a terrace out the back. Friendly service. A selection of locally made food including jams and chutneys are available. Very nice presentation and a good selection of baked goods and pastries. Well worth a stop.

One of the most delicious lunches I have had in a while. I had a pie with chips and salad. The pie filling and crust were both great, the chips were incredibly tasty and crispy, and the salad was clearly very fresh. I drank a fine pot of earl grey tea, which I was glad to see contained quality loose leaf tea. So many restaurants serve pitiful tea bags hidden in a tea pot, but I was glad this wasn't the case at the Little Red Duck Cafe. The service was also top notch, very friendly staff and my food came much quicker than I had expected. Will definitely be coming here again some time.

Wow! This is a quaint and cosy cafè / restaurant that is a very relaxing venue to eat at. Inside, there is plenty of space to move around between tables and on those cold days a roaring fire (thoughtfully protected behind a child proof enclosure) does its thing to keep you warm whilst you dine. The outdoor area is quite large too. The staff on shift when my wife and I visited were very friendly and attentive. The food and drink we devoured was scrumptious and hearty, and brought to our table in a timely manner. Portion sizes were grande too and definitely value for money. The menu also caters for varying diets. Make sure you check out this gem of an eatery if you're in the vicinity.

A really lovely cafe! We stopped by for some coffees and an ice cream. They also do a lunch menu and desserts off the shelf. The courtyard seating in the back was quite nice. A must visit if you are in the area.

This place has something for everyone and probably the best customer service around. A brief stop for a hot chocolate and some cake was just what we needed after a cold day in the area. Pleasantly decorated with plenty of local produce and other everyday items on display, you can certainly get a good meal here. Picked up some local honey to support the local producers. I noticed a couple having a lovely sandwich lunch and another with a tasty looking pie. Staff are just lovely and so helpful. Good parking out the front. Kid friendly. Well worth a visit.

Very cosy cafe.....ordered a ham & cheese toastie plus 2 scones. Toastie was like eating cardboard with very little filling. The scones and jam were tasteless and the cream was out of a can. To say we were disappointed is an understatement...next time we will go the pub

Changed hands and name in late 2017 the new owners are experienced running local eateries. For breakfast, I asked for poached eggs with the local smoked trout. It was delicious and a really nice change. The avocado smash is excellent.

I woke this morning wanting a little adventure. I opened my gold map and looked East to see if I could find a spot near Noogee. Feeling a tummy rubble I stopped for breakfast at Little Red Duck Cafe. To my suprise the cafe became a highlight of my morning. Smashed Avo with poached eggs on sourdough with fetta crumbs with a cafe latte. The plate was presented with a smile with all the queues of a Donna Hay inspired creation. Beautifully plated. The eggs were perfectly poached. Runny rich yokes sufficiently coating the baby spinach leaves. A lovely suprise. Cafe latte was great. Temperature right on, sweet Arabica, finishing with a hint of Robusta to the back of the tongue to finish. All round a great start to my day. Thank you LRDC.
