Food was ok at best. What you would expect from an RSL. Almost no vege options though. Good for families with kids as there's a play centre attached to the dining area.

Very loud and a lot of kids running around in the bistro from 6PM-8PM. Good if you have young ones, but wouldn’t recommend going if you just want a meal with some mates. Food was mediocre - a bit dry but not the worst I’ve had. Good for the terrace bar and pokies.

We went for an early NYE dinner with the kids. The bar staff were so friendly and accommodating, the play area is huge, the venue big and comfortable, and the icecream sundae DELICIOUS. I would give 5 stars, except as a vegetarian, the menu didn't have many options. It may have been a reduced menu for new year's eve though. We will definitely return.

Not bad, got an option for pretty much anyone - pokies, bistro, sports bar, private functions etc Had the most overcooked porterhouse I've eaten in my life, but the rest of the food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere Bar service feels very slow, be prepared to queue for a *very* long time. They pump out a lot of drinks, they're just very busy, so everyone double parks... which slows the service more (duh!) Worth a try

Not sure if because of covid but we are regulars and the food quality has turned to junk. Quantity, quality, presentation. 12 potato gems. Stale bun. Bring the old chef back! I mean realistically we are gonna come back.

We booked a 5.30 dinner for a group of 6 kids and 6 adults. Kids loved the play area, food and each others company. I wasn’t expecting this type of restaurant. I went with my wife and 3 year old son. It was AMAZING!!! Very good and friendly stuff. Did not had booking but was placed in front of play ground. Play ground busy but direct view of my son all the time. Steak delicious!!! , chicken amazing!! I definitely will return to this place again. Even toilets modern and sparkling clean. Recommend!!! Love this place. A regular for our family. Great food, fantastic playground for the kids, Staff always kind and helpful. Prices reasonable and affordable for most. Facilities, bars etc are always well kept. Also great for large groups/gatherings. Wheelchair friendly. Also vegan and vegetarian choices available. Excellent family venue. Attractive decor with lots of room and kid friendly. Food is fine and servings generous. Suffers from the same fate as most big pubs in that it is inclined to be noisy. This hotel looks amazing and the service is friendly and professional but the food is always average. The bistro was packed today but there was only one person on the bar, who was doing her best. They don't serve premix spirits anymore which I find ridiculous as I am sure the profit margin was huge on them and the staff wasn't spending all their time mixing drinks. I wouldn't hurry back if I can't drink my choice drink or be satisfied with the meals. Disappointing as it is such a good venue

Great parma. Came out so quickly too, had hardly sat down after ordering drinks and it was already on the way from the kitchen. The staff are also extremely friendly, and it was great to watch them working happily together often in teams - one clearing, another cleaning and resetting the table - smiles all the while.

We just had our daughter's 21st here (April - 2019), and it ran beautifully. The staff were so attentive, and the ambiance was also great. Special mention to Kate, who managed our whole booking. She is fantastic, and made it easier because of her "on hand" knowledge of the menu, and guest numbers / food and drinks ratios etc.

AMAZING kids playground! Food is reasonable.. Nachos aren't the best. Don't have pale ale on tap 😣 if they did I would give it a 5 star. We sat there for over 2 hours and just watched the kids round around their enclosure through the massive windows. Can't remember the last time wife and I sat down for a coffee and just talked without having to stop the kids ripping the place to shreds. Great work on the renovation LPH

With so many personal great reviews I thought it couldn't go wrong.but then I seen the 3.9 star rating it turned me off a bit but thought I need to try this for myself. It was worth it.. But 1 rude staff can ruin a whole meal In saying that the staff that attended quickly and so ready to get in in the kids room when there were a couple of kids not playing nicely you definitely did well you weren't afraid to tell the kids no not to do something dangerous or stop them from beating random kids... As for a floor staff I get it I work in a very close kind of work.. Saturday nights are stressful but don't bring your whole bad attitude to work and then just ignore the issue. When we finally got a manager or maybe you were only another floor staff I'm not sure but Debra thank you for finally listening and bringing out my kids food. Thank you to the very smiley happy staff member who helped look after our large table.. Jenny I believe your name was because you made out like everything was perfect when it would have been a stressful busy night We seen the restraunt was packed but due to 1 staffs sour behaviour it did put a damper on things the 4 stars are because when we got Debras attention she went above and beyond where she could to just help us get our child's food out instead of waiting to argue about it. Went for a family xmas/new years catch up. They were great arranging a spot for my nans wheelchair, and about the fact that 1/4 of our group decided not to show up. We had a chicken salad, the pork roast, chicken supreme, bbq pork ribs, kids cala and kids cheeseburger. Everything was fantastic. A comment was made that garlic bread at some places is meh, but here, it was lovely. Had to move the plate away from the kids to get them to eat their lunches. I lifted the bones out of the rib meat!! Incredibly tender. Everyone at the table agreed that the meal was fantastic, the staff were great, and we'll definitely be back there

Don't know why there's always an establishment that's just full of pokies but out of all of those 'hotels' this is by far the cleanest and least trashy one I've been too. Pokie machines and kids play zone goes hand in hand and it is definitely a packed place if you don't book (dinner). Service is good, the crowd there didn't hassle me for a dart unlike some of the other pokies joint I've been to. So the fellow patrons there are definitely more tolerable.

I hadn't been there for years, so after a recent visit I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations. The staff there were very friendly. My girlfriend had the salted calimari which was magnificent and I had roast of the day (pork) that had been cooked in a steam oven and there was no crackle, it was nice but not as good as one cooked at home so I've taken a star off for that. In conclusion I would still recommend dropping in and dining there but probably wouldn't get the roast next time. I just think there's lots of other culinary treats to be had there. I will be back

My rare steak was perfect and my wife's barramundi was very nice. There could have been more peppercorns in the green peppercorn sauce though. Plenty of chips, the salad was just ok, kids meals were good, though they did miss the egg in the tartare sauce after being warned about an egg allergy. Pudding was lovely, and they replaced the ice-cream with dairy free sorbet, which was so good we went back and got the kids two scoops. Playground is awesome especially for younger kids.

Best kids play area we've been to. Seen nothing like it anywhere north of the river. Food is pretty good, nothing special but not cheap however the few extra $$ per meal is worth it being able to go out with friends for a meal and a drink with the kids being throughly entertained.

Went for lunch at another nearby hotel which was a huge mistake , before calling in here on the way home for afternoon tea. Awesome customer service from the moment i walked in i was warmly greeted and directed to the ordering section at which i chose a deliciously warmed sticky date pudding and chai latte. When asked where i was seated i said first time here the lady said its nice in by the fire at the moment. I adjourned to the fire area and my goodies were delivered with the young man repeating the order and said enjoy . Wow this place has both an awesome vibe , fantastic staff . Victoria has messed up! Venues with pokies should be not for profit like NSW because that way you get cheap meals. Here you get the worst of everything... pokies and over-priced fairly plain meals. Having said that the place is nicely fitted out, the meals were generous sizing, and the staff were good.
