Kerry, Mum & I had lunch today and I am here to tell you our meals were absolutely amazing. We shared garlic bread. I had the trio of sliders while Kerry & Mum had Baked Salmon with seafood marinara sauce & sourdough bread. Beau, the young man who greeted us upon arrival & later took our order & delivered our meals to our table could not have been more friendly cheerful & obliging- Thank you Mount Moriac Hotel - beautiful 👍

The hotel has excellent food. They have a great selection of steaks, chicken, seafood and pizzas. We had pizza and the fish and chips. The pizza was great as they make a chicken parmigiana pizza which was a great twist on pizza and the fish and chips was good. The hotel was very clean and toilets and ammenities were very new and kept in a great condition.

My partner and I had a lovely date night out and were seated in the beer garden under the heater, which was good as the weather was cold and raining. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles and were very nice and friendly. My partner had a chicken parmi with roast veggies for tea, which was absolutely delicious and I had lasagne, which unfortunately wasn't very nice. This is my opinion so please try for yourself before taking my word on it. I found the meat sauce was dry and way too garlicky and there didn't seem to be a bechamel sauce either. I couldn't eat it, but my chips with gravy and my side of coleslaw salad was yummy and I enjoyed that part. We'll definitely be returning for another meal soon.

Food was really great. Staff were very friendly. Really great ambience on the deck. Only draw back, we parked in the carpark. There were nil signs we could see so we walked around the right hand side of the premises. All the way around till we found the open door. If there had been signage, we would have gone left and saved a walk. Anyway, I'm happy to be return for great food and service.

Meal was really nice and the staff appeared friendly enough. We parked in the carpark and due to a lack of signage, we had to walk ALL the way around to the front entrance to find the open door. So I guess their only let-down was a lack of signage. We ate our very delicious meal on the deck whilst watching vehicles ignore the speed limit.akes you wonder why we have regulations in place, anyway, would I return? Hell yeah Meal was worth it in then be they have all the cricket memorabilia to peruse. Great few hours spent there. Well done team

We enjoyed our meal very much and found the servers to be attentive and pleasant. Our starter and meals came out quickly, and were delicious. I've taken off two stars for so many of the servers disregard for wearing a mask - a requirement for hospitality servers right now. They started off with them under their noses and later had them under their chins or had taken them off completely.

Hotel is friendly and staff can't do enough for you. Food was good , serves are huge. Drinks are just right. Car park needs sealing with bitumen, a bit hard getting back to your vehicle and dusty.

In these difficult times during Covid with only small numbers allowed inside the hotel, 10 in fact and 20 outside, I applaud you for opening. So many places are just not opening up!!! We came out for a lovely lunch Saturday 11/9/21. The Chicken Parmigiana, salad and chips was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so thick and juicy. The Steak Sanga was also cooked to the way I asked and was very tasty and tender. Staff welcoming and helpful. We shall be back. . Delicious 😋😋

My wife and I had a most pleasant meal at the Mount Moriac Country Pub. She had the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and I had a Rump Streak medium rare, with Garlic Butter sauce. Both meals were great, and the service was fast and friendly. It got a big tick from us.

Nice but a bit pricey (both drinks and food). I 'get it' the location is away from the main drag. That said, my beetroot burger was tasty, but $26 for a essentially a 'burger & chips' is excessive. Gorgeous pub however the food was average. We ordered the pork belly which was dry and somewhat tasteless. needed to order gravy after it came out so i could eat it. Hubby had the calamari which again was on the dry side. Possibly due to covid but the bar was closed and i was hoping for a cider on tap which was inavailable. Parking here was plentiful but a decent walk down a dirt hill. We will return post covid to see if things improve.
