Such a hidden gem! I enjoyed every dish I had. The flavors of each dish was incredible and well-balanced. And they are also really generous with the portions!
Highly recommend the tacos and their signature benny! So delicious.

I’ve been seeing O’Hey Cafe all over my Instagram feed & I finally tried it! It is a hidden gem tucked away in Coburg.
The food here were full of flavour and beautifully presented. They even have courtyard seating if you want to soak in the sun while you have brunch ☀️
I’d highly recommend their signature dish “Brisket” and their dessert “Hot Cake”. Was pleasantly surprised by the presentation of the brisket, I really enjoyed it even till the last bite!! 😮💨The hotcake was not too sweet which is perfect for me & it comes with heaps of fruits 🍓🥝

With not being able to eat out as often during Covid, it's been a pleasure to find some delightful places to dine and today's was extra special. O'Hey in Coburg came as a surprise, my daughter choosing it 'out of the blue'.
We sat out the front for a while with our glasses of water, in beautiful sunshine but then retreated to the rear garden courtyard which was definitely the place to be.
My kids ordered a beef burger which is a double wagyu beef patty, double-aged cheese, house made cucumber pickles, fresh sliced tomato, green coral lettuce, caramelised spanish onions and black garlic aioli sauce, served on a brioche bun. Each which came with a basket of fries. I had the Baked Zucchini Fritter which consisted of zucchini, corn and haloumi fritter, with mini radish and zoodle slaw, pumpkin hummus, poached egg, and crispy spiced chickpeas. The hummus and chickpeas made it unique and extra flavoursome, something I'd definitely come back for.
This cafe has something for everyone. There are indoor and outdoor areas for singles, couples and families. For the kids, there are pencils and paper to draw on.
If you're after a coffee and a bite 'to go' then the display case is full of delicious fresh things to entice you - croissants, paninis, slices, macaroons, home made sausage rolls and plenty of sweet treats like pistachio and white chocolate biscuits or red velvet lamington.
Toilet facilities indoors and wheelchair accessible. Parking in the side streets is eas
Big thank you to Ethan and his crew for great service and food. And for being covid compliant.

After hearing a lot of good things about this cafe, I finally got a chance to try it myself. And I must say I really love this place!
We had:
🌮 Crispy Chicken Taco & Avocado - everything was so fresh and delish
🍔 Double Wagyu Beef Burger - juicy beef patties with tasty sauce. Yum!
🥞 Ricotta & Orange Hot Cake -This was an absolute stand out! Amazing tropical flavours with delicious buttery sauce on the soft hot cake. So yummy
🍓 Berrylicious smoothie - refreshing
💕 Betroot Latte - love the latte art!
Friendly service from the staffs and owner.
I love their interior decor too, as well as their outdoor seatings
A Highly recommended cafe in my book😊

O'Hey is the cafe that doesn't disappoint, I've been here twice and both times had such a memorable experience.
The cafe is funky with a cool pink theme inside, I like sitting in the back courtyard which is nice and cosy. Staff are great, the menu is solid with so many yummy options to choose from.
We shared the nutella waffles, nasi goreng and beef brisket and each dish was delish! My iced coffee was refreshing and the caffeine hit that I needed.
Presentation on everything was beautiful and I highly recommend this cafe. Thanks for having us!

Super friendly staff, really cute and well decorated cafe and most importantly delicious food. We ordered the brisket, tacos and hot cake, and let me tell you it was absolutely mouth watering. I would highly highly recommend the brisket, one of the best food items I've tried in any cafe. Would for sure come back here!

@oheycafe, Coburg 📍loved this aesthetic and super pink cafe up north!! 💖 So popular with locals also. It was so busy in the morning but the service staff were brilliant.
Good portions and delish flavours. This brunch spot was def up there!! ❤️😍 highly recommended the chicken tacos and beef brisket!! We also tried the hot cakes. The matcha was a bit weak for me but I loved the fresh juices !! 😻💖 10/10 for food, service & aesthetics.

Always love going to O Hey for brunch - super cute interior and delicious dishes, I hope they never take off their beef brisket Benny off
T.
This cafe is in-between Coburg and Batman train stations by PT. Or there is plenty of off street parking.
This cafe rocks. The service is fantastic, friendly and welcoming. I ordered a strong skinny latte and a turmeric latte and they were both delicious.
Ordering two dishes to share, the "Avo" dish was amazing, and my "Baked Zuccini Slaw" was perfect. The presentation was great, the food so fresh and I was really impressed.
The home made hash browns were one of the best I've ever tasted. The were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
To finish with a bloody mary which was spicy hahaha... phew!! But just what I needed.
This place is definitely worth travelling for.
Thanks for the invite.

Had such a cute brunch before lockdown at the beautiful oheycafe 🤩✨ They have a gorgeous interior & a pretty courtyard where you can dine on their delectable brunch dishes! You must check it out! 💕
My favourite dish had to be the brisket - I COMPLETELY understand why this is their signature dish!!! 🥰 Super flavourful, crunchy potato hash & creamy sauce with that runny egg OOFT!! 🤩
A. “.
Oh my gosh if you are after an unreal brunch spread you have to check out this place!!
The food was not only so gorgeous to look at but also super tasty
What we dined on:
• Brisket- spiced smoked hollandaise over a potato hash, a poached egg, hickory-smoked twice cooked brisket, pickle and cabbage slaw, served with charred corn. 5/5. This dish was their signature and honestly my favourite savoury dish, 100% would come back and order!
• Ricotta and orange hot cake, seasonal fruits, banana butterscotch sauce, granola, mango sorbet, raspberry dust with a poached buster bosc spiced pear. This dish was soooo amazing, all the flavours balanced beautifully and the pear was perfection! 5/5
• Tacos: 3 serves of crispy chicken bites with fresh chilli, spiced mango sauce, grated pecorino with black beans, corn and red cabbage slaw - omg so good 4/5
• Fried Chicken Waffles with broccolini and a rosemary infused maple syrup- absolutely BOMB 4/5
The service was absolutely excellent and all the dishes were presented with such care! The interior was beautiful and the colour scheme was stun
S. H.
Fantastic food and fast service. Really good coffee too. They have everything on the menu. Creative plating is a bonus point. I noticed how fast they are at cleaning up and sanitise after the customers left. Clean and nice ambiance, overall a great brunch place.

O’Hey is an absolute gem of a cafe located in the heart of Coburg.
The cafe itself is super cute and inviting, with a pretty pink and white interior and a gorgeous courtyard out the back.
Now the food is where it’s at! I was blown away by the presentation, which was so gorgeous and vibrant, especially the signature Brisket dish, which arrived shrouded in smoke hidden underneath a glass cloche! So theatrical!
Not only did everything look amazing, they also tasted incredible, which is the most important part. The Brisket and Hot Cake were the stand out dishes for me, but I genuinely enjoyed everything and could not fault this meal.
Service was super welcoming and friendly, and because we were there on a fairly quiet morning, the food came out really fast too.
M. R.
The food is delicious well priced & a nice little Cafe.. Probably my favourite chilli scramble iv found so far!!!
R. B.
I had such a wonderful time visiting O'Hey Cafe in Coburg this morning. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was so delicious. I love that this cafe has both seating inside and in the spacious courtyard. My favourite dish was the special Biscoff French Toast. I also have to give an honourable mention to the tacos, hotcakes and sweet potato fries. The coffee and matcha latte was also a winner. I recommend visiting during the week to avoid long wait times. Can't wait to visit soon.
A. G.
The staff were super friendly and made us feel comfortable. Karlos and Jamal were super nice and cool.
We had chicken burger & fries, signature brisket, smoothies and the hotcake.
Burger was top tier,
Brisket was finely cooked and came with a cool presentation.
Hotcake was perfected with just the right amount of sweetness and softness and it came with fresh fruits on the side also. Smoothies also tasted super fresh and refreshing.
Super satisfied with the experience and looking forward to be back for some more! Keen to try the tacos menu on the next visit.
m. g.
This cafe is absolutely a hidden gem! It’s not only very Insta friendly but their super friendly staff makes the experience so wholesome 😊
I’ve been here twice and both the times the food has been amazing! The brisket is definitely star dish! Would highly recommend!! Will definitely visit soon 😃
E. K.
Brunch that doesn't just look good but also taste amazing. Generous servings and fresh produce. Best hotcake I ever had, definitely must try if you visit. I will be back for sure :)
S.
I had the fritter with a side salad, pumpkin hommus, poached egg and added haloumi. It was very tasty and filling. The coffee was good but a bit bitter for my liking. The service was friendly. Ambience lovely. Happy to return.
M.
Where do we begin... absolutely blown away with our brunch experience at O’Hey. Everything was perfect from service, to staff, to presentation, to food, to vibe. We tucked into their signature hickory smoked brisket Benny (showstopper of a dish), crispy chicken tacos (full of flavour and texture) and the ricotta and orange hot cake (omg). Loved every single mouthful. Will be back for sure. 10/5 from us 🤩
S.
Great food!
Baked eggs was delicious and huge.
Definitely give this place a try

Venue: Really cute small local cafe. Nicely decorated, love the pink element at the front of the cafe. It’s a shame it isn’t a bigger venue.
The kitchen can be a bit loud at times, but otherwise, super cute
Food: have had several items here, and all have been pretty awesome. The burgers are delicious !!
It’s a great spot for brunch and lunch.
Service: always nice and friendly - quite attentive. Always someone around when you need them.
Highly recommend.
J. L.
Book a table over the phone, was nice and easy. Arrived a little early but the table was ready so we were seated straight away. Food took a little longer to come out than I would have liked. Food came out looking amazing and very yummy.
H. T.
This is such a cute cafe! The cafe layout is pretty in pink, the staff is friendly, the food is tasty and a very generous portion. They also have this beautiful mural art in the courtyard, super photogenic and Instagramable! We got:
- Salmon
- Hotcake
Along with
- Latte
- Ruby red juice
Both of the food came out prettily, almost too pretty to be eaten. The pan seared salmon was crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside served on a bed of fresh salad with ancient grains. The hotcake was great with its butterscotch sauce and the nice and crunchy poached pear. Found the hotcake a bit dry and dense compared to all the previous reviews saying it was light and fluffy. But other than that, lovely coffee and plenty of parking around. Definitely make a visit to this cafe if you’re in the area!
**another point for using paper straws for the juices**
A. W.
The BEST food, coffee and service I've had since moving to Melbourne. Absolutely love the vibe - makes me happier just being there and really feel like the staff love to have you 😍🤗 if you're looking for a new spot then treat your tastebuds and visit! 12/10 would move in next door so I could go every day.

Very delicious food with great presentation. Super friendly and lovely staff. Very pretty looking cafe in the heart of Coburg serving cocktails as well. Coffee was top notch. Highly recommended

Back here for a second time and the tacos are a must try 🥰. The Hot Cakes are also delicious, full of flavour and different textures. Staff were lovely and the interior is super cute.

Provides great coffee and numerous great dishes..

Absolutely amazing place. Staff are wonderful, food is delightful and decor is on point. Felt very at home and one with their community while I was there and the owner (I think) was a wonderful man with a warm but fun personality. Will definitely be going back!
M. S.

Blink and you'll miss it as you drive by - but this place is a real gem and definitely worth stopping at. Great food, fabulous presentation, atmosphere, and lovely staff. Chicken Tacos were superb!
G. M.
Great food - like seriously this place punches well above its weight. The falafel and Halloumi dish is so so tasty: you gotta try it. The chicken burger is really flavourful! Seriously, go check this place out. Top Notch cafe
C. K.
A very pretty and refreshing looking place. Service is lovely, polite and friendly.
They are sure to make you feel comfortable and at home in this busy little cafe.
Beautifully presented food and wonderful flavors, just yummy, totally enjoyed it.
I had the brisket, just have to go back to have it again.
I didn’t really take photos as the experience was a moment to enjoy. Acoustics are quite loud, but not overbearing.
Just had another visit and lunch here.
It wasn’t a fluke, again exceptional service and scrumptious beautifully presented and unique food with a bunch of mouth watering flavours. A little busier this time, but polite greetings and accommodating manners made it smooth and short wait.
S. T.
O-Hey there 🙋🏻♀️
Ohey has some incredible food to offer that not pleases your eyes but also rocks your tastebuds 🤤🤤 it was my second time a few weeks back and it was just as good as the first time. The servers were friendly and were happy to recommend some really pretty and delicious meal.
The following are the dishes i have tried
🌶 Chilli scramble
Can’t really go wrong with the scramble, can we? The chilli in the dish was just enough to hit you but not too overpowering as well. Loved the portion size of the dish.
🥒Zucchini fritters
I had this dish both the times i visited and i kind of had mixed feelings about it. I am not a massive fan of zucchini so didn’t really like the dish as much. But the overall presentation was a 10/10.
🥩Beef brisket
The crispy potato hash with the tender brisket was a match made in heaven that melted in my mouth. The smokey presentation gave a very theatrical look to the whole dish. This is on the menu so if you are looking for a must have then this is definitely the dish. 👍🏽
🌐 Tiramisu waffles (limited special)
oheycafe definitely knows how to create one. This TIRAMISU WAFFLE STACK was definitely a mind blower. It had the perfect aroma of a tiramisu and perfectly balanced sweet and coffee flavour with some crunch from the waffles and the honey comb.
🍞 White chocolate raspberry french toast (limited special)
This was an amazing change from all the milk chocolate french toast that are available around the other cafes. The white choc and raspberry combination was definitely delicious as it hit the right spot. The sweetness wasn’t overpowering and the toast was so moist even on the inside....definitely an amazing combination.
🍠 Sweet potato fries
The portion size was so good and the quality was so top notch, definitely made to order as they came in hot and super crispy.
Definitely look out for their weekend specials, the chef Michael’s weekend creations are definitely worth getting your hands on👍🏽👍🏽

O’Hey is a vibrant cafe tucked away in Coburg that is aesthetic in both its decor and its food! We opted for the Full Brekkie, the Tacos and their famous Hot Cake, which made for a great and uplifting start to what was a rainy Melbourne day. The Full Brekkie is an example of a classic dish done well. The potato hash in particular was a standout.
The Tacos were amazing! I am usually a little concerned about tacos being on the drier side but the combo of cucumber, slaw and sour cream, with the crispy chicken made for a perfect mix of textures and flavours.
We topped our savouries off with the ricotta and orange Hot Cake it was so yummy and we can definitely see why the Hot Cake would be one of the most popular dishes.
Overall, O’Hey is a great cafe; from its bright vibes and beautiful presentation to its delicious food!
S. P.
O’hey, I think the photos speak for themselves...
It’s always so lovely when you find a cafe where the food tastes just as good as it’s presented! The falafel bowl looked like a piece of art.
I can’t fault ANYTHING about this place!
I’ve been here three times and it’s been a winner each and every time.
The tacos especially were a standout. I’ll be back for the hot cakes!
D.
We had a wonderful experience here at O’hey Café, from the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff. The café is decorated with vibrant neon colours and beautiful décor, the backyard also has a wonderful mural and great place to have your food this summer.
DRINKS
We started off with two drinks which were refreshing and tasty, beautifully presented.
Mellow Yellow $9
Mixed Berry Smoothie $10
FOOD
There was a wide selection of menu items and we couldn’t resist but over-order as everything sounded delicious.
Twice Cooked Cauliflower $19.50:
We were recommended this dish as it was heard to be better than KFC and it truly does not disappoint, a great dish for vegetarians.
Hot Cakes $20.9:
These hotcakes were amazing, not too sweet and great added textures!
Tacos $20:
A beautiful blend of flavours in these tacos, not usually one to order tacos for brunch but these definitely changed my mind for the future.
Brisket $20:
Loved the brisket and potato hash in this dish, definitely one of my favourite hashes in Melbourne.
Would definitely visit if you’re in the area or even making the trip down because it was a phenomenal experience and great food to share with a couple of mates!
s. s.
Food was great, especially Brisket which is the signature dish here. Food presentation was so great too. + Friendly staff, cute courtyard area and nice pastry too.
J.
The tacos are a must have. Coffee is great as well. Will be coming back
F.
I can't go past a burger for breakfast but I saw someone else order the brisket and it looked astounding. Ordered it myself, and it was delicious. Considering how busy it was, the service was excellent. Definitely a hidden little gem. A must try if you're in the area.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting O'Hey Cafe located in Coburg, and let me tell you that I was absolutely living! If you are currently living under a rock and havent visited this cafe yet, do yourself a favour and get in there ASAP! Upon walking in, I was greeted by such friendly staff, a unique and creative interior, and a stunning atmosphere! What more could I ask for?!
I was definitely excited to tuck into my 3 dishes which were the falafel bowl, the brisket and of course... The hotcakes! Always going for that savoury and sweet combo because why not! Not only was the flavour AMAZING! But the presentation of these dishes are some of the best I have ever seen! O'hey cafe definitely does not lack in this department! I also got to try the tumeric latte and the ruby red juice which were also GREAT!
I definitely had such a great experience and can't wait to go back! Everyone else needs to get there too! 😊😊
A. L.
Came here for brekkie and had an awesome feed. The cafe was brightly lit with a cute pink ceiling. The meals are so IG worthy but also taste as good as they look. We tried the brisket, falafel bowl and poke bowl. Each were generously portioned and tasted equally amazing. One of the highlights were the house made pickles that was a component of every dish. Service was attentive and fast.
N. Z.
Amazing food and beautifully presented! Great service and ambience. You can tell a lot of thought went behind every single detail. Definitely my favourite brunch place in Melbourne and that's saying something!
L. N.
The big breakfast was really good and great coffee. The service was friendly and quick, and a few vegetarian options on offer.
D. T.
Fantastic cafe for the locals, bit of a hidden gem. Great coffee and excellent customer service. There are a few vegan options but looking forward to even more.
S. &. A.
Great quality food, excellent coffee, owners are super nice and always pay extra attention to my toddler which makes him feel extra special too. Love the interior, this cafe is always top of mind when trying to find a place to brunch :-)
H. C.
Great food, really enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of staff so really felt like we were looked after. Had a vanilla milkshake that was delicious and the everything breakfast. Would recommend
J. B.
The staff here are so friendly! Everyone has a smile & a really cheerful attitude - makes it really easy to enjoy your time in here. Then the most incredible food comes out! What a little gem O'Hey Cafe is!!
V.
Such a gem, great little find on an unsuspecting road. Service was great, friendly staff, the brunch was delicious. I had the fritters with an extra side of mushrooms and it was so tasty, and so filling. Couldn't resist the watermelon smoothie though, so naturally rolled out of there full and satisfied.
O. A.
Super cute cafe with excellent coffee. All the treats in the cabinets look divine. One of the staff and I had a lovely chat with, and he offered me a sticky date muffin on the house which I took home and demolished with my housemate! Thanks guys! We will be back :D
E.
The food here is incredible. The people are lovely, the decor is beautiful and bacon and eggs rolls are divine.
A. N.
Second visit and the standard has not dropped at all! Not just pretty presentation but also amazing food
E. T. (.
Amazing place, and friendly stuff. The ice chocolate was so good!
K. L.
Always so pleasant coming back here after so long. The menu still has all my favourite things! We ordered the brisket, baked fritters & hotcakes and they were all amazing. I also love the vibe and interior decor which is always so captivating. The staff is super friendly as always. I would recommend checking them out if you’re around the area! Thank you for having us
L. D.
Coffee was great and the food portions are huge! Wait staff were quick to serve and very friendly.
Only thing that bothered me was how cold it was sitting inside too. No air con or heater running so we were shivering inside but as soon as drinks and food arrived we were fine.
M. L.
I came here when they first opened and honestly, was not impressed. 2 years later, I thought I'd give it a second chance. I didn't order the chicken burger this time and I was very happy. Looking around at what other people were eating I was impressed with the food and the quantity on the plates.
The staff were great too. The only downside was the acoustics. I found it hard to talk to the my friend next to me because I could hear everybody else.. Too much white noise. Next time, I'll be eating in the back courtyard that I discovered after finishing my meal.
P. J.
WOW! Amazing breakfast menu.
The cafe serves exclusive gastronomic delights.
Great service.
Highly recommended.
A very special cafe indeed.
J. W.
What can I say, a local friendly neighbourhood cafe, makes you feel welcome as some as you walk in the green doors to the pink and white interior. An amazing space, filled out so nicely. Coffee was on point to start then the theatrical brisket was unveiled a Smokey feast of brisket corn and homemade hash. The ricotta Hot cake was so thick but so moist, amazing flavours surrounded by every fruit you can name. Amazing meal and atmosphere!
D. C.
Great food and very friendly service. Will definitely go there for brunch again.
ا. T.
Love this cafe, you can't go wrong, all their dishes on the menu are perfect and enjoabl. Highly recommend
C. Z.
Pretty good food, although only 2 vegan options and menu said no substitutions allowed on weekends. I had the tofu chilli scramble which was actually really nice. Good flavour and good amount of food! Staff weren’t very attentive... took them almost 10 minutes to get to us after seating us, and coffees didn’t arrive until after our meals did. Coffee was pretty decent! Wouldn’t rush back but nice to see that you’re busy!
E. B.
Really good service. So kind and workers are so welcoming and have a good sense of humour. overall such an enjoyable atmosphere and that's not even including the delicious food. they have a wide range of foods from Tacos to burgers and even Nasi Goreng. Definently recommend this place.. some of the best food in Melbourne.
B. A.
They have very tasty Tabasco and the staff are great as well.
N. P.

I really enjoyed my time here. The staff are well trained and they regularly check up on you which is quite accommodating.
The venue itself is aesthetically pleasing and how they present their food is visually appealing which is an experience in itself. Their menu offers a modern take on classic dishes - my friends and I all thought the the food tasted great!
H. D. E.
This place has amazing food. I would recommend you try the tacos, they are incredible. They might look small, but they are a good portion.
If you want to go for brunch make a reservation. The place is very popular.

Ohey offers unique brunch dishes with a European and Middle Eastern twist including these incredible mushrooms with hummus as well as a delicious falafel plate. You get a choice of dining inside as well as outside in their gorgeous courtyard! Don’t worry, they provide blankets and heater during the cold days so you can be all warm while enjoying your brunch 🍴
I definitely recommend the Big O’hey if you want to try a bit of everything! Recommend adding extra hollandaise with the eggs too because I found it really tied the dish together! Their Poke Bowl is the prettiest I’ve ever seen and not only was the presentation magnificent, super healthy but also was a great dish as a whole. The sweet dark soy dressing was sooo good and definitely tied the healthy goodness together.
I wish the biscoff banana caramel smoothie is a permanent item on their menu because it’s really good! If you’re after some classic brunch dishes with an unique and tasty twist, definitely check out Ohey!

Such a lovely place to start your morning, love this place so much! O’Hey cafe is not a cafe with big selection on menu, but it’s still hard to pick and choose. Because their foods look so good and I want to try them all. Quality ingredients, very well-presented and tastes as good as it looks.
A. W.
Such a beautiful environment! Staff are so friendly

Just went to O'hey on Sunday for our late lunch. The place is really cute in modern pink interior. We had ruby red and green machine juices and they were refreshing and delicious ! Then we had corn fritter, salmon and tacos. They nailed it! Every dish was very yummy and we can tell that they put so much effort on the dishes. The corn fritter dish is the prettiest corn fritter I have seen! I would recommend you to try this place! Great food and beautiful cafe!

What a complete hidden gem! I decided to have my birthday brunch at this cafe and I am so glad that I did! Firstly the welcome I got by the owner was incredible, he made me feel so welcome and recommended some dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for the chicken & pumpkin salad and had to add my favourite - halloumi. So good & perfectly cooked! My partner went for the crispy chicken tacos and they were to die for also. The beetroot latte was also amazing, can’t recommend this place highly enough, especially for something special!!
S. A.
Really enjoyed this cafe
The food was amazing, so tasty
We ordered brisket which was super juicy and the acai bowl - not too sweet and was really refreshing
Service was friendly and efficient
My drink was taken away before I finished though, but in fairness we were all slowly starting to pack up but was hoping to finish it off.
Will be back again to try more from the menu
R.
Cool food, taste great, service is good too, very friendly family oreintated business. Bit crowded but otherwise cool spot!
B. G.
Great location, friendly staff, accepted re-useable cups during lockdown and puts out their coffee waste. Awesome. Unfortunately, the coffee can be a bit hit n miss, there’s a lack of vegan options, and a bit too much plastic being used. Potential to be a great neighbourhood cafe though and still worth a visit.
P. R.
Presentation of food was phenomenal! Corn fritters were some of the best I've ever had; fresh ingredients well put together and coffee great!
J. H.
This cafe's interior was literally goals. The staff greeted us straight away and took out coffee orders. We sat and looked at the menu and was honestly overwhelmed by it - so many good sounding dishes.
The coffee came out really quick, it was beautifully made with the perfect temperature and tasted so good!
We ended up going with the Poke Bowl, the Falafel Bowl, the Hot Cakes and a side of sweet potato wedges. My absolute favourite would be the Poke Bowl, closely followed by the Falafel Bowl. I just love how fresh everything was, the plating of the dishes were phenomenal and the flavours were really different and they stood out. The sweet potato wedges were perfectly made and crispy - just the way I liked it. The Hot Cakes were also really nice, a good dish to end with! It's not too sweet and I loved all the fruits on it. Not only did it make the dish colourful, it added so much flavours and textures.I honestly highly recommend this place.
This cafe has its aesthetic and food on point, I love it.
A. G.
Great cafe, a bit cramped but good service. Food is great! Smoked mushrooms was good, healthy serve and not to expensive.
J. G.
Absolutely impressed with this place. Got there early for brekkie and throughly enjoyed the smoked brisket (it’s quite special). What attention to detail. Did not disappoint. Thanks for a lovely breakfast.
S. E.
All I have ever heard is such high reviews for this cafe and I thought it was time for me to try it out myself.
The interior was absolutely stunning. Splashes of pink, neon lights and cushions made it feel so comfortable and funky inside. However, as we chose a gorgeous day in Melbourne to visit, we opted for seating in the courtyard. The love that obviously went into creating this cafe continued out there! There was a beautiful mural on the wall, huge tables and lots of greenery, which I loved.
We ordered the French Toast, Tacos & Brisket. While all dishes were simply named, their impressive flavour combinations were anything but that!
The absolute standout for me was the French Toast. It had vanilla custard, raspberry jam and peanut butter. It also came with a caramelised banana and each bite was heaven! The sphere on the top had raspberries and filling inside, which was just a testament to the extra mile the cafe has gone.
The tacos were filled with crispy chicken and smokey chipotle. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavours were great together. They also added chillies, which gave it a little extra kick.
Lastly, we ordered the Brisket. The presentation of this was just WOW. The beef was twice cooked and had an incredible smokey taste to it. It sat on top of a crunchy potato hash and came with a poached egg. My friend thoroughly enjoyed this dish.
The staff were so friendly and attentive. They were happy to assist us with menu choices and also went out of their way to have a chat, which was lovely. As soon as we left, my friend and I started discussing a time that we could come back!
C. S.
One of the most incredible cafes I'd ever been too! Never have I ever been to a cafe with the cutest decor, the most friendly and enthusiastic staff, plus food that not only tastes ah-mazing but looks beautiful too. An absolute stand out would have to be the ricotta and orange hotcakes!
M. B.
Love the food and very friendly and great atmosphere!
A.
Ethan makes an outstanding coffee. Great food too.
H. R.
I recently ordered and they forgot a drink but they mustve been busy and i felt bad about asking about it , but when i reordered the drink they sent me some extra goodies to make up for it!! I just want to say I hope I wasnt rude on the phone! I really love your stuff its always delicious and really good food and you guys work hard , thankyou very much! 💗👌💝
G.
Delicious chilli eggs, not overly spicy and delicious. Extremely busy, but expected from such a nice place to eat.
D. D.
Amazing coffee. Service was fine and food was fine. I had the fritters and it needed a bit more flavour. Overall would recommend.
A. M. M.
What can I say! The decór, the ambience, the immaculate presentation of the food. It's an absolute pleasure dining here. And the coffee is perfectly balanced. Thank you very much O' Hey team. Unfortunately the maximum stars allowed are 5.
W. R. T. I. S. T. I. K.
Awesome Cafe! Delicious food, perfect coffee and awesome staff with excellent attitude. All the things you need for a Sunday morning brekky.
J. L.
Great vibe at this cafe. Vibrant decor. Staff are lovely and helpful.
Kitchen can be super loud as they are basically in the middle of the cafe. Major reason I’m not giving 5 stars. The cafe has good coffee and wide range of fresh food on counter such as sweet treats which are delicious.
Breakfast was great had the chilli scramble and highly recommend
Great work team great addition to Pascoe Vale
M. H.
The service was friendly, but the chicken budget was tiny for $20. Two pieces of chicken, slaw and sauce, with a side of chips. That's it. I've been waiting for this place to open for ages, as the vegetarian Cafe that was there before was awesome. A little disappointed really. That being said, it was bright and cheery and again, the service was great.

O’Hey Cafe in Coburg has to be one of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. From the vibrant interior, the beautiful courtyard with stunning wall art to the elaborate & spectacular dishes.
Every dish is plated so beautifully, so much creativity, props to the chefs who do an amazing job. Some cafes have attractive dishes but are missing the flavour, O’Hey manages to nail both.
Tacos are often a risky dish from a photography perspective but I was totally Wow’d by the work of art that arrived. The crispy popcorn chicken & the artistic swirl of avocado, a perfect dish & a generous serve.
The smashed avo was another knockout dish, with pops of colour & flavour from the pomegranate seeds & zataar feta with a refreshing lemon salad.
The falafel bowl was unlike any I’ve seen before, an architectural delight with a flavour to match. The fatoush salad, hung yoghurt & pickled chillis are a combination that worked brilliantly.
Last but definitely not least is the ‘Hotcake’ - a giant orange & ricotta cake served with a poached spiced pear, sorbet, banana & butterscotch sauce, granola & raspberry caviar. Yep, I know. A must try if you visit but if you’re eating other dishes, you’ll should probably share this one.
A decent hike to O’Hey from my home in Chelsea but I always leave super impressed & ready to make another trip back. Thanks so much for having us in.
H. i.
The Brisket is a must try here. Lift up the glass dome and the aromatic smoky smell of the hickory-smoked twice cooked beef brisket will have you salivating. Take a bite and you'll be in love with its bold and rich savoury flavours. The potato hash was cooked to a crispy perfection, and the hollandaise sauce brought it to another level of indulgence, while the light and clean flavours of pickle and cabbage slaw added a sharpness to an otherwise heavy dish.
The Falafel Bowl came highly recommended, and after tasting it, it's clear as day why it's a favourite of many. The combination of pumpkin hummus and fatoush salad gave this dish a refreshing burst of flavours, and the falafels and halloumi were cooked to perfection.
We saved the best for the last and obviously, it was a sweet dish. The super soft and fluffy hotcakes, with a firm decadent bite, doused in banana butterscotch liquid and paired with fresh fruits - heaven!
The coffees were just as flawless as the food, and the service received by other customers were impeccable. One waitress even offered to take a picture of the sweets cabinet for a customer sitting at the courtyard so that she didn't need to go all the way to the front to have a look at what's on offer.

First time at O'hey today with my friends, I cannot fault 1 thing. Amazing coffee, amazing food with even better presentation, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and great conversation. Aesthetically amazing. I love the choice of colour and how it ties into the whole cafe. Great experience, cannot wait to go back.
Keep up the great work!

Ok so hats off to the owner Michael, absolute pleasure to eat at this cafe/restaurant. My partner & I had the fried cauliflower, beef burger, vegetarian tacos & haloumi fritter with 2 green machines between the both of us. Needless to say everything was AF**KING1!!! I will definitely be back for more of your menu, very busy place and plenty of staff to assist you. Everyone there had a smile on their face, staff and customers. If you try it you will not be disappointed, believe me 😁
J. C.
Falafel bowl was delicious! And fantastic service.

I had a wonderful dining experience at O’hey in Coburg. The pink and white aesthetic immediately caught my eye. From there it was truly only up. The staff treated us like old friends and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. It was definitely the experience that you dream brunch in Melbourne to be.
We went for the ‘Shanklish’ with hung yoghurt, poached egg, shanklish, spiced broad bean salad, crispy leek fries and crumbled sumac on middle eastern zaatar flat bread. The crispy leek fries went so well on top of the gooey egg and creamy yoghurt.
My sister decided to also try out the ‘Fritter’ with zucchini, corn and halloumi fritter, with a mint cucumber salad, labneh, poached egg, chickpea chips and seasoned micro herbs. She said that the fritters were amazingly moist and so delightful to eat.
Although my highlight was the ‘Falafel Bowl’ with falafel, pumpkin hummus, fatuous salad, dukkah egg, pickled chilli, radish, crispy halloumi, marinated cauliflower, hung yoghurt, seasoned crispy mountain bread and pomegranate seeds. The combination literally sang in my mouth. I am still dreaming about this dish and it was definitely a top dish of 2019 for me.
A top pick and a must visit for everyone in Melbourne.

Wow! From the moment I saw O'Hey café I was excited with the vibrant colours and décor! When I walked inside I was seriously blown away hehe. Love all the pinks, greens, other colours and interesting artwork inside.
The team was great, suer friendly and funny!
Now onto the food: I was so happy to see they had TOFU SCRAMBLE on the menu :) I love tofu scramble. I was thinking it would come out looking pretty standard, however it was BEAUTIFULLY presented. The flowers, greens and chillis on top were super simple but just made the dish amazing. Tasted great too.
I also tried the RED juice, which was super refreshing. SO keen to go back and try some more vegan options!
You gotta try O'Hey café!!
D. M.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🙌🏼
GET DOWN THERE! ⭐ FANTASTIC CAFE!
Amazing menu, affordable delicious food and exceptionally friendly staff!
Had the Tacos, Hotcakes and the Brisket 😍 absolutely ridiculous feast 😊
S. L.
The ambiance is absolutely stunning and the food is impressively delicious! The brisket is a must try with its promient smokey flavour!
J. B.
The food is great but I could do without the side of non-masked patrons breathing all over mine.
J. C.
Had a private function tonight. Fully catered. The spread they put on was absolutely amazing. We asked for coffee on arrival and I was blown away. Rose you make the best almond lattes. Will be back. Thumbs up for the best service.
S. E. P.
Amazing food, great service and very reasonable portions
R. H.
The food was great, the service good, and the coffee excellent (although they put the chocolate for the cappuccino on before the milk pour - this is a pet peeve of mine that I will never understand).
Lots of vegan and gluten free meals and meal options, and the menu says they're trying to minimise food waste, which is great, and means they apparently do a lot of their own preserving and pickling.
They've refurbished the cafe that used to be there with some quite lovely and surprising interior design elements. It's a little noisy inside but the courtyard out the back was perfect.
Lost a star because the urge to make everything instagram-worthy and show off their (admittedly beautiful) plates means that sometimes food is plated to look good instead of taste good. I had the falafel with pumpkin hummus, fatoush salad, dukka egg and fried haloumi - all absolutely delicious. The falafels were tasty and not dry, and small enough that there was lots of lovely crispy crust. And there was plenty of food - I was completely stuffed afterwards.
But to keep literally half the plate free, they'd put the fatoush salad directly onto the pumpkin hummus, so that it was no longer a light and refreshing break from the heavier falafel, egg and haloumi, but instead weighed down by the hummus.
Still! Despite this would definitely recommend and will be back.
S. D.
Great new cafe, exciting menu and coffee is very good.. 1 suggestion, the porridge bowl is to small, bowl is only 1/3 full and for any male it's not enough.
All in all it's a great place and the owners are ripper lads
N. R.
We went to this cafe because their instagram page was amazing and the food looked delicious. The vibe of the cafe was really nice from the ambience to the plates. However, the flavours didn’t live up to the expectation. Unfortunately, the food was bland and lacked the flavour you see.
F. M.
Good coffee and a delicious menu. I had the fruit toast and even was impressed by that!
G. T.
Nice vibes. Amazing burgers and staff. Also very creative and delicious menu. Favourite cafe and lunch spot.
A. P.
FINALLY! A fresh, funky, modern and SERVICE ORIENTED CAFE IN THE AREA!
O'Hey Cafe is legit the best thing to have rolled into the area and than eff I found it before everyone else has - It WILL soon be hard to get a table here because of how good it is.
After frequenting other Cafes in the near by vecinity and being put off more and more by the inattentive or lacklustre service, O'Hey Cafe has injected LIFE, COLOUR & LIGHT into the food scene here.
Customer service is their priority. The food is phenomenal. Generous servings not bulked out with white cars and corn but with delicious and falvoursome ingredients that are presented in a way that rivals my favourite Brighton spot.
The guy who owns the joint (I assume); Please don't ever change. Don't ever lose your passion for your interaction with your customers (and rediculous pranks you pull on them 😂) and your eagle eye attentiveness you have with your staff and goings on in there. It's amazing.
I look forward to many more visits here and hopefully kept on my toes to see what the next special is (and prank!).
Z. N.
Love everything about this place; the vibrant colours, delicious food and great service. They are very accommodating for your dietry requirements. Not to mention amazing coffee!
H. E.
Grea gem in the middle of coburg. Great tasty dishes that appeal to both your eyes and your taste buds. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and accomodating. We were 6 people, all 6 dishes were excellent, well made, and perfectly plated. I really cant recommend one more than the other, as they were all filling and tasty
N. K.
Excellent service. Food is well presented and delicious. Great atmosphere and very accommodating. One of the best coffee I have had. Must visit place.
A. A.
A brunch is a hearty emotion and @oheycafe brunch in coburg brings you a niche food experience. This could be your weekly ritual, and seeing everything they got we couldn't be more thrilled about it!
A combination of all the best dishes you will try (sweet treats, savoury treats and a set of hot and cold drinks!)
The uniquely diverse brunch menu at Ohey has everything from sizzling nasi goreng, Tacos and Hot cakes to their latest new delicious Prawn Benny.
For a bright afternoon in glamorous surroundings, this beloved place in Coburg hould be your first stop.
Try their types of Eggs & different plates, a substantial and sensational plate of weekend sustenance.
Their Menu is consistently evolving with twists on tradition and global inspiration. The drinks menu has signature hot chocolate and Cappuccino- Their Almond Cap is my most enjoyable drink. But the stars of the show are their fresh detox juices - Yellow Mellow and Ruby Red, and other smoothies that come in a selection of colourful options.
Great food and a friendly atmosphere make Ohey not only a must-stop if you’re feeling peckish, but a place to relax, chat, people watch, and the service always comes with a welcoming smile.
P. H.
Staff were friendly and polite. Coffee and B & E Burgers were just what we needed thanks
A. L.
The menu at this place is geared towards brunch. The only lunch offerings are two salmon dishes and two burgers (accompanied with frozen fries). If you are after a quiet meal or coffee you will be out of luck as it is mainly frequented by mums with bubs pushing winnebago sized prams and superhuman vocal chords. Coffee is ok, nothing special, On the plus side, the dishes are very instagramable :-)
Top tip: Beware the uncovered pastries next to the eftpos machine.
S. S.
Amazing food and coffee. Great customer service too and very friendly staff all throughout the place. We came in a group and all came out very happy!
