Staff is generally friendly. Food and coffee is just okay but good portion. If you're looking for a special brunch experience, there are better cafes. But if you live nearby and looking for something casual/convenient, this is a good choice.

A nice cafe with quick service and friendly staff. I ordered a flat white, pancakes and a triple chocolate muffin. The coffee was fine. I thought the pancakes were a little on the small side but they tasted great, particularly the berry compote. The only slight disappointment was the muffin, which was closer to single chocolate rather than triple. Apart from odd chocolate chip, which were a little on the scarce side, it barely tasted of chocolate.

I left the house for milk so I could make a coffee... Called in to see Jo & Chris and spotted The Brekky Roll on the chalkboard. WOW..! Was that what the Doctor ordered, or what..? Always amazes me how top quality ingredients brought together with great talent and dash of love... how darned GOOD it tastes..! RECOMMEND EVERYTHING to EVERYONE...!!!

This is our go-to breakfast café in a part of Hay Street that has a lovely neighbourhood feel to it. The coffee and fresh juices are great, muffins delicious and the belly buster breakfast is very generous in size as well as tasty. The owners have a lot of time for customers and offer a very personalised experience. The wait staff are very attentive and friendly and always take the time to welcome you or have a chat. True value for money in a central location in Perth city, I can highly recommend Bella Gina whether it's for a takeaway coffee with a treat, in house breakfast and lunch or even for catering options (my colleagues also love Jo's famous muffins!).

A nice vibe here with good staff, good coffee and a broad menu at our Saturday morning breakfast visit. A very tasty poached eggs came on ciabatta with a drizzle of good pesto, together with baby spinach and fetta cheese. My eggs weren't as soft as they should have been but replacements quickly came without question. Friendly English proprietors and a great retro playlist in the background made this a very satisfying experience. Even got useful travel tips! Recommended.

Best coffee in Perth. One hard thing to find with coffee is consistently but here they give me the best coffee every single time, topped off with friendly staff and delicious food. The breakfast is fresh and very good sized portions!

Myself and my colleagues have been visiting Bella Gina for around 9 months as a regular haunt for breakfast, lunches, coffee including their awesome selection muffins and pastries. Besides some of the most delicious meals I have eaten in a cafe setting, the atmosphere created by Jo and Chris is fantastic. The friendly nature and jovial disposition of the proprietors keep not only the regulars, but the new patrons coming back time and time again. Occasionally, you may even have a little bit extra creativity with your meal. If your on Hay Street in East Perth, do yourself a favor.....you won't be disappointed.

Spending a day and a half in Perth from the US (my first time in Australia) and googled best coffee in Perth on Hay Street and it brought me to this great little cafe! The coffee was amazing, breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff was VERY welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. It was quite the introduction to Australia! Highest recommendation!

Walked in and wanted to buy a chicken salad sandwich - sure they had some already made and the other few shops nearby said no take what we have. The Bella-Gina? Nothing was a problem - might a great sandwich & milkshake and both were fresh & tasted great. So if your around Perth CBD I couldn't recommend a better place - next time I'm in Perth I'll come back again. The people in the shop made my day.
