Enjoyed dinning at Bluewater Bistro. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted to try the seafood platter and also planned to order steak as main but staff advised that would be too much food for the two of us which I am so glad she did. The seafood platter was super amazing, lots of selections, very flavourful and beautifully presented. Thank goodness for the staff for advising us that the seafood platter is “a lot” of food rather than just wanting us to order as much as we wish to make more money otherwise we wouldn’t be enough be able to touch the steak. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back :)

We booked the private room for a lunch with a dozen people. The weather was extremely hot but the room was well managed, cool but still had open french doors to the balcony overlooking the swan river. Beautiful. Food was plentiful and delicious. The service was very attentive and adaptive. They were eager to please.

I liked the long macchiato here. It was a bit sour, aromatic, rich, smooth, nutty. It gave me a nice aftertaste. The Botanical Cafe at Kings Park is the sister company. Good to chat with Kenny, the friendly barista. This Bluewater bristol is located at a peaceful and beautiful hill. It oversees the Swan River. The building was built in 1927. 18 years ago it was converted to bristol. It has both beautiful and spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas. It is such a lovely place that I would recommend bringing family, friends and visitors here for a meal and coffee. Enjoy! (2021-09)

YmeWe just had our wedding reception at Bluewater and from the start it has been brilliant. We had alot of old people who attended and people with allergies and dietary requirements. The chef's, waiting staff and management did a fantastic job catering to our needs. The day went very smoothly and we couldn't be happier. Visited for wedding anniversary as it was an old fave from years back. Disappointed we couldn't sit outside for the view as it was a 38 degree day so had to settle for the aircon inside which is till a treat as we love the decor. First time in a few years I have ordered a steak as I like my meat to be well done which many chefs refuse to do. Happy to say the steak I got was magnificent and cooked exactly how I liked. It was tender, juicy and very tasteful with just the right amount of jus. My wife's barramundi was cooked to perfection and also very juicy. The two ladies who were looking after our table were very friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable experience for our special day so a big thanks to the BWG crew.

Not a whole of choice for meals but a wine list which goes for days. A lovely atmosphere, staff mostly nice and food portions are generous and tasty, thankfully a Kookaburra landed on my table and helped me eat mine lol, lovely gardens, nice place to bring kids and even has a playground for them. This place is definitely more formal or neat dress. There are plenty of tables inside and out to take in the glorious view of the swan river and several carparks to accommodate for cars, motorcycles and accessible parking. Nestled into a lovely location, it is definitely worth a look.

Dog friendly, kids friendly. Seats outside feel more casual, inside is more formal. This is the n.1 spot I'd take out of town guests with kids! There's an amazing playground around the corner, and the view and the garden are just beautiful. Perth at its finest. Only been for breakfast and lunch but for both the service was good. Food menu is not huge but good options. The only thing that surprised me was that a babycchino costs 3$! For a shot of steamed milk and a dash of cocoa that's a lot.

BWG Steakhouse is easily one of our go-to favourite restaurants. We love their breakfasts, we love their lunch, and we love their dinner. They have some of the best steaks in Perth, which is good news as they are a steak house. The head chef is on top of his game, and we have always been impressed with his menu. We have also attended several functions and events at BWG, in beautiful rooms with character, and a stunning view of the river. We could not recommend this place more!

I've been here three times this year already and every single time, I've only ordered the eye fillet and never regretted my decision. The saddest thing is I'll probably never get to taste any of the other meals because I'll keep going back to this one! One of the best steaks I've ever had.

Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive Food was OK, but nothing amazing and the garlic bread in the sizzling prawn was very oily. Ribs had good flavour but were a little tough. The braised beef was very tender but the combination brought it down as it lacked flavour.

Beautiful location. We were able to sit outside despite the wet winters day. Heaters and cafe blinds made alfresco dining with gorgeous views a delight. The staff were very attentive with great wine knowledge and friendly service. The tasting plate was delicious. There were 4 of us and it was such a refreshing change to have 4 pieces of each item instead if the usual 3 provided by so many restaurants just because it is aesthetically more appealing. We also shared mains of chilli mussels and the pork belly. Both were delicious a generous portion. Such a relaxed environment and service that proved nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic view, lovely decoration and disappointing food. The view is magnificent, it was a lovely day and I really enjoyed my visit it is a shame that the food let the place down. I disapprove of restaurants that don't serve a meal and this is one of these places. I ordered steak and that was all I got, a bare piece of meat on a large white plate, the steak was ok, I stole some chips and salad from my wife's seafood platter. The seafood platter was underwhelming, I didn't like the hand cut chips but my wife did, I really didn't like the calamay, the salmon was way overcooked and I was not fussed on the prawns either. The prawns looked ok but lacked flavour, they were really not delicious. The location is excellent, the wine was fine, disappointing food. Not recommended.

BWG would have some of the best alfresco dinner views in Perth. A recent visit for an evening dinner was a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and some extra little things like having blankets over the chairs for those who are bit chilly. The beer and wine selection was quite generous with great wines on offer. The steaks were some of the best we have had in Perth. Perfectly cooked fillets with amazing flavour that rival some much more expensive steakhouses. The desert thought petite were very creative and extremely flavoursome. Having not been for dinner for some years, I would definitely recommend BWG and will be returning.

One of the most beautiful settings I've been to in Perth overlooking the Swan River with 270 degree views out on the alfresco! Food was amazing we had the pork belly with apple and cider sauce was so unique and different also had oysters some of the best oysters I've ever had in my life! The steak come out first a little bit over done but my wife sent it to be replaced with they did and then it was amazing with they had added garlic prawns for free (omg must have!) prawns on the side to make up for the delayed what an amazing show of the correct customer service I had chilli mussels with beautiful bread on the side. overall what a beautiful lunch. Will go back with more people for sure!!!!!

Menu has improved recently. When it first changed from Bluewater to BWG Steakhouse it only seemed to cater to red meat lovers. There's a little less red meat on the menu now and more seafood which is great and they were missing out on all the ladies who lunch in the area by only catering to blokes. Views are one of the best in Perth. Atmosphere is always a bit quiet, it needs some music or something. Staff are average. Recently visited for mums birthday and had a first class meal as good as fine dining . Glad I came back to give them another go

Wow, booked the Bluewater Bistro upon high recommendations from friends who had been the week before. So glad we did for my son's 18th Birthday with family in Perth. We had a lovely meal at Bluewater today. We had four smaller dishes to share. The S and P squid was perfectly done. We enjoyed the eggplant smokey dip as well as a share plate with various things and a small salad. It was perfect for lunch. Along with a lovely bottle of wine we could not have asked for more. Attended a corporate event here - it was amazing! The food, service, view/atmosphere were all very good. The only criticisms were they took the starters off when mains came on - which is fair enough, but they were delicious and no one would have objected if they stayed in the centre of the table throughout the event. Fantastic dinner for 6 of us and everyone was impressed with there meal . My steak was cook perfect and was so tender and flavoursome,all side dishes were great especially the honey pumpkin. We brought a cake as it was a birthday dinner and nothing was to hard in preparing and serving it.absolutely beautiful location inside and out I would have easily given it 5 stars but 1 issue frustrated me.the service staff...we were served by multiple servers which is fine but a lack of knowledge and or enthusiasm by some was disappointing. 3 times I had to ask for more drinks to the table and 1 time I had to remind a waitress of our order as we were all sitting with empty glasses for some time.more attention is needed by staff at what is happening on the table ,I.e 1 staff managing a table or drinks.apart from that will be definetly back.

We had a private function there and could not have asked for a better venue. On top of this the food was next level. They were extremely accommodating of the large number of young children we had and there was plenty of room inside and outside for them to play and run around whilst the adults enjoyed themselves and their meal. The EC/HC Mich not only has great passion, knowledge and competence in the kitchen, he also knows how to be a most accommodating host. Making play dough for the children shows how thoughtful he is to ensuring all aspects of the experience is a fantastic one.

Great location and spacious. Great for babies and families. We really enjoyed our steaks (we had the Harvey beef sirloin and Wagyu) and sides here, but the ribs were very dry. Food is pricey here, but their steaks are worth it... I definitely wouldn't go for the ribs again. I've been here a few times and their beef dishes never disappoint. It is also situated next to the pirate playground with the stunning clifftop views. Will definitely keep coming back.

We spent last Sunday morning having breakfast overlooking the Swan, a warm sunny day with just a hint of a cooling breeze licking off the river. On offer were beautifully prepared breakfast staples with a few exotics and sweets thrown in for good measure and all as much as you care to eat. Had my anniversary dinner here. Could not fault it - service was so friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Waitress' recommendation of the chateaubriand was spot on. BEAUTIFULLY tender and tasty. The restaurant itself was elegant but not pretentious and of course the river location was to die for. Loved it and will be back

Not the best experience and so disappointed about it as the venue itself has one of the best views in Perth. Firstly, I do have to commend the friendliness and professionalism of the gentleman working at the bar and front desk yesterday and also the outdoor waitresses. Customer service and attentiveness was somewhat lacking from the other front of house staff member. Attended with the knowledge that they only offer a set menu on Sundays however upon arrival learnt that this didn't include a standard steak option (which is what we were craving) Suprising for a steakhouse! This was queried and we were then offered an alternative share platter menu which offered a rump cap or a $200.00 tomahawk. Thank goodness, so we settled on the rump cap. We then waited 45 minutes for focaccia to come out and after 1.15 minutes out mains followed (apparently a technology malfunction which I accept) Very generous portions, can't complain about that but was very disappointed by the sauces which all seemed to stem from the same base gravy and lacked any recognisable or punchy flavour. I'm really not one to complain and only write this review to offer some points of advice. Definitely work on those sauces and make sure a steak option is always on offer on your set menu (even if the options do change on a weekly basis) Thanks to the gentleman inside and the outdoor waitresses, you made our lunch experience all the better!!

I recently had my networking meeting here. Absolutely perfect location! The service was prompt, and because they opened the restaurant section especially for us in the morning, we had the place to ourselves, so we could discuss our business matters in private, as well as without affecting other patrons. We are now in the process of booking this location as our permanent meeting place. Amazing ambience within the place. Menu is good, prices are a bit high but quality speaks for itself. We enjoyed our dinner. Service wasn’t on par with the price & food quality but i guess the deliciousness covers up for that matter.

Sunday lunch with friends from interstate. The food was really good as is the view and surrounds but the service was atrocious. 15-20 minutes after we arrived no drinks waiter had attended the table. after ordering from the bar ourselves a lemon squash took a further 15 minutes to arrive. This set a pattern as no table service was timely and at $55.00 a head for a two course lunch service must be far better than atrocious!! Lift your game.

As our first course was a bread playe and half a dozen oysters I think the problem may have been that we were overlooked. At first we were seated and menus and some cutlery that wasn't needed was removed . A couple of minutes later our drinks order was taken and a couple of minutes later our food order was taken . Two orders turned up our daughter's kids serving of fish and chips and some seared Salmon for myself . After our food was eaten we were waiting on my husband's Turkish dip and some garlic bread . We waited half an hour for it but still no sign of the dips or garlic bread . After tracking down the waitstaff they checked the kitchen and we discover they had not even confirmed the order of the dips and garlic bread even though it had been printed on the bill . We paid for what actually came out which was only the fish and chips , Salmon and two glasses of Lemon Lime and Bitters . We weren't going to risk being forgotten for dessert and coffee so went around the corner to the kiosk.
