Comments of Botanical Cafe

Limited view of the city, excellent location but that where it ends. We ordered ice coffee with no cream; end up with cream. The chicken salad was plain. However the chips were perfectly cooked.

A pleasant place to meet. Central CBD, but with attractive scenery and views of the Swan River to South Perth (with the relaxing pleasure of Kings Park). Choice of alfresco or dine-in. Plenty of seating, convenient parking at rear, good strong coffee. Delicious sausage roll (one of the best I have ever tasted) perfect fries - great coffee and a refreshing freshly squeezed water melon and apple juice. Excellent service. Polite and patient staff. Tables cleaned continually too.

Lovely location and friendly service, spoilt by average expensive food. We ordered two chicken parmys and two drinks plus 1 water for $69!!! for lunch. The chicken was small and tasted fishy!!! the chips where excellent, the slaw was not even a slaw, just cabbage, some beans and alot of mayonnaise, and didn't seem fresh (see pic).
Really disappointed but who knows if they read reviews, as one from a month ago suggested that the place be cleaned of cobwebs and it wasn't very clean at all..
Please improve your standards here, otherwise you waste a great opportunity to make a great name for yourself!!!

Beautiful scenery, views and atmosphere.
You are defiantly coming for the view…. the food is average and expensive. The barista seemed to be under a lot of pressure… could use some extra help during peak times with over 30min wait for coffee.
Bustling atmosphere on the weekends. I recommend getting a takeaway drink and going for a walk through kings park.

Someone told me the coffee here is good. I stopped by to try it. The long Macchiato was a bit smoother and the taste was alright. They used Gravity coffee beans. The beans originate from various countries as labelled: Brazil, India, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras and Papua New Guinea. What impressed me the most was the unique decoration of the indoor seating area. This morning the Kings Park temperature was about 15 Deg C. This cafe has a lot of heaters to generate warm air for the seating area. I like this beautiful cafe. Certainly another good cafe for gatherings. Cheers! (2021-08)

The cafe was very busy and services was a bit slow and hectic. Price is consistent with similar restaurants at such locations. The food was quite nice and we enjoyed it. I wouldn't come here just for the food, but if we come to kings' park for a trip with visiting families and friends I wouldn't hesitate to bring them here.

Great location. Nice coffee / breakfast options. Beautiful view. Convenient parking available. Spacious. Indoor / outdoor seating available. Toilets are clean. Staff is nice and friendly.
We tried apricot danish and coffee and really liked it.
You can have breakfast here after beautiful sunrise view from the park. Check the timings online.

Who cares about the food - what a stunning view.
Another spectacular day in Perth so Kings Park was the place to be.
The cafe was pretty busy but we had reserved a table.
There’s a good variety on the menu and standard cafe prices.
We had the steak sandwich- which my friend didn’t really enjoy and the chicken tender burger which was nice.
You order at the counter and considering how busy it was our meals came out pretty quickly.
The staff were very friendly.
Parking is free but can be rare on a sunny day.

My first outing in Perth was to the Botanical Gardens in Perth where we stopped in for lunch at the Botanical Cafe. Lovely casual cafe with outdoor and covered seating. Watch out for the crowd if seated outside. The dirty scavengers don't hesitate to pick leftovers from plates in the outdoor area with fear from staff or anyone else. The food and drinks that we ordered were reasonable and enjoyable but the price demanded is commiserate to a 5 star Michelin Restaurant. Food was very overpriced. A significant number of people revolved through the Restaurant and I saw that a number of food orders delivered to table consisted of just fried chips and coffee. I suspect due to the overpriced menu items. $12 for a greasy ham cheese and tomato croissant was my order, see picture. You be the judge but I was disappointed. Thankfully the weather was magnificent.
M. R.
Lovely spot to eat and chat awhile. Service good. Bought in sweets hugely expensive but made in house items reasonable for location. Indoor and outdoor seating with a northerly view of the city.
D.
Shout out to the barista working New Years Day ‘22. Run off his feet filling a million coffee orders while also waiting tables, and still made delicious coffee. Thank you!
K. L.
Went there today for Christmas lunch
Food was really good but on a 43 degree day to be sat outside with half the table in full sun it was not the place to be. Table was booked months ago an when we asked for table inside we were told you had to request that when booking.
I know that it was an extremely hot day an we dont regularly have 43 degree days but no air con was available there were fans but they were up against as you could imagine . A lot of people including us ended up getting the food to take away. The heat was unbearable an you couldn't lean back on the chairs as they were to hot such an uncomfortable environment.
For the price it really needed to be done better.
That being said it was the best octopus ive ever had.
P. B.
Good place to catch up with larger groups, no paid parking with central location

Just had an unbelievable breakfast (full breakfast with avocado on the side and an affogato) here to kick off my Sunday. The service was fantastic, the food was incredible and such a decent serve, not to mention the always stunning views.... I love this place, thanks guys, see you next time 😁 (no pics attached to this one as I was too engrossed in my food & forgot)
B. K.
Dropped by here at 5pm, just in time before their kitchen closes. We ordered their raspberry and white chocolate muffin and their latte. Both were pretty good and service was decent. Wildlife occasionally make a pit stop at this cafe so be prepared for a sight to behold!
R. T.
Christmas breakfast. Good food, great view but starting to get hot at 8.30am heading towards 43. I feel sorry for the lunch patrons.

“BEAUTIFUL CAFE WITH A PICTURESQUE OUTLOOK”
Botanical cafe located in Kings Park is such a fantastic place to have either just coffee and cake or a beautiful breakfast or just snacks like pies, pastries, cakes. They also have a takeaway coffee area and also serve alcoholic drinks should you wish to have a glass of wine, a beer or anything ticklish or fancy. There are lots of outdoor seating areas with large umbrellas and also outdoor heaters for in winter.
There are benches that you can sit at with stools and an indoor/outdoor alfresco area with ceiling fans and heaters and also an indoor area totally covered with ceiling fans and heaters.
At anytime you can help yourself to the self-serve filtered water fountain if you need water.
It's a beautiful location overlooking the war memorial and the Perth city skyline.
Has free (limited hours) parking next door where you would normally park to visit Kings Park.
There is also several Trans Perth Buses that can take you here to King's Park which stops right outside at Botanical cafe, Plus the Perth Explorer Hop on Hop off Bus.
The public toilets are right next door to the cafe and are very clean and well looked .
First time I've been here so I ordered a beef pie, a lemon meringue pie and a long macchiato topped up with lactose-free milk in a mug. Even know all the above is great I must admit the only reason I’ve given a 4-star rating instead of 5 is because my pie was not that good. It very dry inside with hardly any gravy, it felt like it was over cooked and the Beef inside was very dry and tough. Also I don't like onion as I have a reaction to it and the person I ordered through said it didn’t have onion. “Wrong – It does have Beef, onion and celery”
The long macchiato in a mug was a great size however other places I have been they would do 4 shots of coffee in this size mug where is here was only three shots. You can have a two shot long macchiato in a small glass but I always prefer a large Long Macchiato for coffee. But that’s just me.
Botanical cafe can get extremely busy at times and you have to order at the service counter, place your order pay for everything and then take a seat with a table/flag number. My suggestion would be to grab table first if you're with other people, grab some menus to the table to have a look at what's available otherwise you may need to wait for a spare seat. All condiments and cutlery are kept on the tables like chilli sauce, mustard, salt and pepper, Heinz tomato sauce, cutlery, napkins.
There is also a kids menu which is separate and they have coloring in sheets to keep children occupied. Prices are reasonable for the location. I will definitely be coming back again because it is such a great location and will try some different food selections next time around to review other food choices rather than just what I had on this occasion.
T. V.
Fast service and nice location, but pricy for the quality. Salmon frittata was reheated and very dry, with just one thin piece of salmon on top and a few leaves of salad between solid, dry egg. Side salad was as basic as it gets. Coffees are okay.
A. C.
Not bad coffee but wish the management put another barista during rush hour. One barista doing all coffee order, waited 35 mins. Clearly coffee not their focus in their business. Lots of takeaway people also waiting quite long time for their coffee.
S. M.
Busy cafe with great views of the water & city. Beer on tap is fabulous & my pint tasted delicious. Food was average, the Korean chicken burger was just ok & the steak sandwich was lacking anything worthy of comment.
S. F.
Food was okay - expensive for what it was...Eggs Benedict and a baked egg dish. The restaurant needs a good clean - spider webs on the ceiling and around the cornices - just requires a long handled broom, guys!
Ф. М. (. M.
Clean tables, panoramic views of the city and the lake, delicious food and cheap prices! What more can you ask for? At the time of my visit the cafe had a very good choice of pizzas, burgers and wraps. They even had sushi and granola.
The second half of the cafe - Frasers - had very nice scones with cream, jam and tea.
Selection of birds is also fantastic :-)
L. G. B.
I was initially reluctant to go to this cafe having read many negative reviews online but I decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did as my experience was all good.
Excellent location, beautiful views.
Got a nice spot to sit, drinks and food came out fast. Drinks and food average prices with mug of coffee being $5 and pizza was $22.
Staff were reasonably friendly.
R. M.
Spent the day in Kings Park (incredible), after so much walking I stopped by the cafe for something to eat. Yes the food is pricy, but you are eating at a botanic garden... what did you expect? I had the burger and fries, and a chocolate shake, but they have a lot of options. I sat outside well I waited for my meal to arrive, excellent opportunity to people watch and look at the beautiful view of Perth. My chocolate shake arrived first.. it was ok.. they may have missed the chocolate part. Burger and fries arrived next, and for as busy as they were I didn’t wait to long. It was a good meal, not the best burger in Perth’s, but not bad. Water is free and everyone is told that it’s self service.
C. V.
Really great food at Kings Park, can do dine in, or take away and sit in the park with a coffee! There is a good selection on the menu dine in, or panini sandwiches which you can take away, and they are so good!
C. B.
Lovely atmosphere. Good food, great coffee! Loved the fact that they served tomato sauce in a container at no extra charge.
S. J.
Fish and chips were delicious, only disappointed they only had Johnny Walker as a whiskey choice. Next time I will try a cocktail.
j. b.
Was lovely, great food, cool morning nice to have a walk around Gardens later.
P. B.
The service was so friendly and professional, the food to rave about, and the location something else! Love it all. Thank you!
A. B.
It's a lovely location, sitting outside in the breeze was a pleasure in itself. I very much enjoyed my beef burger, my patty was tasty, well cooked and definitely not store bought. My chips were crispy, tasty and pretty much perfect. Not the cheapest eat, but a nice one.
L. P.
Pets friendly and kids friendly place. A fancy breakfast menu with a new touch to a traditional big breakfast, smashed avo, pancakes... it makes a taste unique.
The cafe gets full quite fast, so better to show early to secure a table.
The service is quite slow, so allow for an extra wait time, and maybe snack first.
On the dark side, I didn’t like the fact that dirty dishes were left around for ages, forcing new customers to move it from table to table themselves. It looks like this place is short on staff.
A.
Wonderful little Cafe, given the location I expected some price gouging but it was reasonable. The views are amazing here.
Food is a decent quality, drinks are fine. It's usually always very busy, but the staff are attentive and on top of it.
Would totally recommend stopping by here if you're heading out to the King's Park Botanic Gardens.
G. F.
Great place to grab a coffee, a book and spend hours just chilling out while you enjoy the great view.
S. S.
Good coffees which took a while to arrive. However it is in the middle of wild flower season. Clean toilets clean place. Hard working staff. Very busy both inside and out side
Y. O.
Went during a during a public holiday and it took ages to get a coffee due to the crowds. The coffee was pleasant and well.worth the wait. The outdoor seating has a lovely view of the war memorial
G.
Not bad, coffee good obviously understaffed as is everyone at the moment.
M. r.
Lovely view, nice atmosphere, staff were nice and the coffee was good
L. T. T. T. G.
The Botanical cafe has a great menu, I tried the green bowl for just under $20, a little expensive, but very filling and nutritious. GOOD VALUE.
K. A.
The scenery & service were good.
Not even a fan going that I noticed though we found a spot that was just inside & was reasonably comfortable in high 30s temp.
Limited menu & the complimentary water was very warm. However, we both found really good food we enjoyed, well presented & himself reported his beef pie full of meat & tasty. The plate was decorated with a thick tomato sauce that you could use or ignore. Chips fresh made & good. My smoked salmon frittata & salad tasty & salad good & fresh.
Recommend the on tap dry white wine.

After a morning walk @ Kings Park, seeing the beautiful Perth city and views... I wanted to spoil myself with a coffee 😍🥰 So i found this really cute cafe.
I decided to have my strong soy latte here at the Botanical garden. Where i was sitting was quiet and very peaceful, looking at the view and thinking of life 😂
The people were not that friendly.. but what can you do, sometimes you can come across that kind of people, it’s hard to avoid. There’s no point in complaining and being bitter. That’s just life 🤪
Anyways yes love this place, great for a “me time” if you want your own peaceful time without any drama or worries.. Go for a walk and enjoy..
The coffee was very yummy, strong, bitter just how i like it.. 🥰
Remember to tag #missnom_nom on instagram and share your pics 😍

Sir enjoy the view, whist sipping Peppermint tea.

Good service by young staff the food was nice. For cleanliness i would give one star. The tables and chairs were not clean crumbs on table and chairs. Odd cutlery at the table we had to borrow from another table. I thought the environment had to be cleaned after each customer especially now with covid virus now.

Thank you... we really enjoyed our lunch with you!
J. d. V.
Nice atmosphere in the park. I had a pork roll which was the best I had in life. Sevice was good and quick.
G. W.
Mediocre food, shoddy service and scruffy place. Not one table was wiped after they were cleared. Sticky, wet tables that over the course of a lunchtime just get worse.
Y. T.
We love the Pizza there. Very delicious. We ordered Cappuccino and enjoy the scenery there while having our breakfast. The cool breezy air is refreshing. We love the peaceful and calm environment here.
J.
Great scenery, with the smallest coffee glass in the world...more foam than coffee...drank in one gulp... :-(
H. H.
Stopped by here while walking round Kings Park for a late afternoon snack. The food was just ok but the location is clearly why you come here. There are plenty of tables and shade and water bowls for dogs. Cleanliness and staff were good too.
C. T.
Nice cafe with great view in the kings park. Very near parking.
S. L.
Always a pleasure to come and have a coffee good prices and great scenery.
C. Z.
Nice setting. Coffees were not hot, actually, not hot at all😔
K. L.
Fantastic salad today at the Cafe. Service was quick and prices reasonable.
4. G.
Lovely breakfast, can't wait to visit again. Staff are super friendly!
B. C.
Have always loved to return to this busy cafe! Good food good coffee and good dessert with a nice view ☺️✨
a. g.
They should introduce Chicken Pizza and few more varieties of cakes.
L. S.
Unfortunately we waited half an hour for drinks because they hadn't printed out our docket. They only noticed once we approached them about the wait time, after seeing everyone else who came in after us served their drinks within minutes. Staff were apologetic at least? And coffees quite nice.
T. S.
Botanical cafe was a quick stop for myself and Friends on our way to an event. It was during lunch time activity and bustling with lots of hungry excited people. None the less, the service was efficient and not too long a wait.
There are a couple of food outlets in this location but the Botanical Cafe offers a great sit-down experience with a wonderful variety of delicious food available for dining in or outside of their establishment.
Being at that elevation, the views are superb taking in the city of Perth vista from the greatest asset Perth has, the glorious Kings Park!
Highly recommend this time of year late October, early November as you have the absolute pleasure being amongst one of the greatest displays of Wildflowers created in Western Australia.
H. I.
Awesome morning tea. Scones with jam and cream. Awesome central spot for friends catch up.
J. L.
Worst Latte in the Southern Hemisphere...nice Hot Chips though.
G. Y.
Great views and good coffee!
L. 靈. S.
Great 👍🏽
D. B.
Great coffee, muffins don't appeal - possibly not made from real ingredients. Fish and chips very generous serves. Usually very busy, so allow time to relax and enjoy the view while you wait.
L. S.
It was ok ... Not amazing but the gardens are
A. M.
I was a little disappointed with my smashed avocado with feta and dukkah. It had the smallest grain or two of dukkah that I could not taste and I could not identify any feta on or mixed into the avocado.
J. B.
Fun, relaxing and great family outing with the grandies.
H.
Found a nice spot inside, under a heater and out of the wind. We had steak sandwich, chips and coffees, all very nice. I'm not sure how nice it would have been closer to the open doors though, and the wait staff didn't seem to know what a long teaspoon is. I asked for one for my iced coffee and was given a dessert spoon 😁
C. Q.
The Botanical Cafe is located in King's Park at the top very near the War Memorial. We had yummy coffees and sat outside in the sunshine. The service was very pleasant and the location is outstanding. Just a minute's walk from the cafe, there is most glorious views of the harbor and the city. We just loved our gourmet coffees at this darling cafe. The perfect resting place.
f. c.
Just a lovely location. Very accommodating with young kids and dietary needs, no kids menu but offer half serves which is great. Food is delicious and good value.
J. B.
Friendly staff and great food. I go every Sunday for coffee and have noticed over the last few weeks that the restraunt is looking quite dirty. Dirt, leaves and food on the floor. I was very disappointed.
J. T.
Good food, great view
P. B.
Staff are nice and the coffee was good. The Nutella muffin I had was dry and powdery. The price of a lot of menu items fairly hefty.
Great if you’re just after a coffee but I don’t think I’d eat a meal here.
S. S. F.
3 stars for the venue but it does have a 5 star view if your lucky enough to score an outside table. Botanical seems to have a lot of seating for the size of the restaurant which slowed down the service at the busy times we visited. Coffee is ok, pricing is a little high but you are paying for the location which is understandable. The food we ordered was hit and miss. I ordered a scone which arrived with jam and cream, sadly the scone was really dry to the point of being stale. My sister in law was happier with sourdough, eggs and chorizo and my son enjoyed the smoked salmon bagel. Our coffee arrived in staggered stages quite a while after the food was served. I would return, but at a quieter time, it would make for a better experience.
E.
Quick service and pretty good feed.
A. H.
Best views in Perth. Open air cafe, with great coffee and food. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Easy access to ride up if you are a biker. Right next to Aspects a great everything store.
R. H.
Went for lunch with a friend on a hot day. No air conditioning and cafe was busy but not full. Had an awful stomach ache after lunch so not sure if the food caused it but what else could it be? Service was mediocre as you had to preorder and pay at the counter and get your own cutlery. I told the cashier we were sharing but no shared plates came with the food. Iced coffee did not come with syrup and sugar was not dissolving. A bit noisy for conversations and seats were not comfortable.
d. c.
Beautiful place. Free parking. Pleasant staff. Lovely food and tasty coffee. The only downside is the prices.
$6.50 for a thin slice of banana cake. A whole cake that would feed 8 people is $4.99 in Aldi.
H. t.
Great brekky great views
I. '. C.
Love the atmosphere and the staff were all so friendly. We ordered our coffees and they were so quick to get them to us. Best coffee in Perth. Will be back very soon!
I. F.
Slightly overpriced food and drinks but still a great place to grab some grub due to its location
L. G.
I raised a concern recently with the manager who went above and beyond to resolve it. I was impressed with his attitude and we had lunch there today, which was very nice with very generous portions.
S. D.
Great café! Very breezy, open widows and light fans make for a really nice regular spot during the summer. Coffee was delicious, and fast. Best view in Perth is a stone toss away.
M. d. A.
Nice place, pretty good coffee
M. F.
Good coffee, but sadly the chicken caesar salad was missing anchovies which were asked for, but not received
D. P.
Service with a smile.
Access via wheelchair or for elders with a walker requires a substantial walk from car park. Ramp with access from Fraser Ave, drop off at end of roundabout ?
Steps in front facing the city.
j. R.
beautiful views and nice selection of food and drink
M. G.
Kings park is a glorious place to be, obviously, so many things in bloom.
We just called in on the way past, it was very busy at 12:20 on a Tuesday with limited parking available.
We ordered two simple dishes -sit down- fish and chips also a steak sanga.
Both were fresh, and great, steak that you can bite clean, and the fish was superior than most restuarants!!!
The coffee was also good, the service happy and friendly.
We enjoyed the effort to go there, THANKS crew :)
C. J.
Nice food, just need some attention to detail and for some staff to relax before they come in to work. Great location and nice wait staff but the lady that took our order at the counter seemed a little impatient after I asked a couple of questions about items in the menu. Then when our food arrived there was something off about the presentation. I could see too many greasy finger prints on the rim of my plate. Of course I'm conscious of the fact that the plate and the food has to be handled by hand by the cooks but i guess usually the plates get cleaned before they go out to the costumer, for presentation. I actually took a napkin and wiped the rim myself and the food looked instantly better! such a small detail! the flavour was great and we enjoyed our time there.
B. M.
Great cafe with lovely staff! Ample amount of indoor and outdoor seating with a good selection of food. Great views of the city! Can be a bit on the expensive side but understandable giving the location. Great spot for a quick snack
A. K.
The cafe itself is nice. We went in the winter and they had the heaters on in the morning. I liked that you could see honeyeaters in the grevillias down the side of the building.
The staff are... Okay, not particularly polite or helpful but not awful.
What was awful was the prices. I got chips and a pint of cider for $19!! To add insult to financial injury, the cider wasn't even GOOD, it was bland (can't remember what they had on tap but I wish I could so I could avoid it in future). The chips were alright though.
J. L.
One of my favourite spots for breakfast during the week. They have an extensive menu, from all the usual (eggs hollandaise, smashed avo, etc) and also a very nice porridge, which seems rare in Perth. Not cheap but worth the money. The coffee is good and what's more, you can enjoy it all with a good view.
X.
A warm and welcoming enviroment with tasty and reasonably priced drinks. I didn't look at the food menu.
L. G.
Despite the very touristy location, it's a good spot for anyone wondering King's Park. Airy space, friendly service (although sometimes could be slow-ish due to high volume of customers). Fully licensed.
Plus, they just lifted their game in coffee making department! Good coffee is important. Coffee makes things happen.
A. G.
Make sure you ask for your coffee extra hot. Their menu says coffee is served at 65C but our coffees were just warm 🙁
k. e.
Despite being very busy staff were great, friendly and helpful. Good coffee! Food all came out together and was really fresh and very tasty! Thoroughly enjoyable trip, will be back! :)
L. M.
Stunning food and service. The price you pay is very low compared to the stunning view you have over the city 😍 worth every penny!
M. Q.
It has a great view at Kings Park and with subtle expectations you'll enjoy a coffee here with friends. Try to forget the busyness, the dirty tables and the long queue to order if you can. Dog and child friendly.
M. A. D.
Burger was okay. Chips were served luke warm at best. Pizza was also okay but warm not really hot enough. Wait time was okay. 15% surcharge for public holidays is a bit rich. Most other places only charge 10%. Atmosphere was good. Overall it was okay.
T. L.
Price High. Service efficient and friendly but a little slow. Beautiful location. The pie I ordered had great flavour but tough meat (unless you really like chewing and swallowing gristle).
M. H.
I usually find food in places like this overpriced and not very good but the food here was reasonably priced and surprisingly good.
H. M.
The staff here were wonderfully accommodating of my food allergies - the cashier checked with the kitchen after I made adjustments to the initial order, and then when the plate of food was bought out with nuts on that weren't listed in the meal's menu description, they made me a new salad despite having modified the first one. So, thank you chef and waiter!
Also, the food was fresh, well-seasoned and enjoyable despite being heavily modified from the original menu item, so I imagine the white chicken salad in its entirety would be delicious. (The fresh juice was also delightful.)
K. T.
Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon catching up with relatives. Nice sitting outside enjoying iced drinks and warm crispy wedges. Thanks for a nice afternoon in a comfortable, fresh air and clean environment.
M. C.
I've not had any issues with the business or there food. Usually good quality and friendly. But being within a tourist hot spot it can get very, very busy. If you have no patience, please bring a packed lunch.
R. D.
Decent place although quite large and crowded
D. (.
I had small fish and chips, although very nice it was pricey. It's a pleasant spot but not somewhere to head for an inexpensive bite.
M. A.
Great good, great drinks and fabulous, relaxed atmosphere. It was still school holidays time so I expected it to be super busy but it was just perfect. We plan to visit there again soon.
C. C. (.
Nice Garden Good views City views and Swan River
P. H.
Stopped for a coffee and some chilled water. The water was free self service but the trays of "clean glasses" were not very clean.
E. C.
Service is always a little slow and disappointing. For such a beautiful location it unfortunately has a food court feel to it. Be aware they do not accept cash only cards.
D. B.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, perhaps the staff vary a lot. It is fairly expensive but as expected for the location. Our food was good and turned up quite quickly despite being busy (I guess we ordered after the main lunch rush).
U. B.
Was nice to have brunch outside in the nature, food was good. However there was this very loud bird right next to us well hey what can we do!
highly recommend!

Great coffee. Muffin was ordinary. Fantastic location. Great helpful staff.

As expected it is pretty busy on a Sunday morning. 15 minutes wait for takeaway coffee. Great place.

Beautiful gardens. Very restful, great for the soul.

L. S.
Great place in king Pk for lunch and coffee
S. O.
Ordered fish and chips which whilst expensive, my brother and I shared it. It was plenty for the two of us. Definitely recommend you ask for what portion size they have before ordering for everyone as you may also get away with sharing.
A. S.
We had GF pizzas. The toppings were really nice but the base needs some work. It was very chewy and dense - not like other GF bases I have had. Also the food is really over-priced which is probably due to the lack of competition in Kings Park. A shame this is often the case.
B. S.
Great service for a busy day. Happy helpful staff with great views.
P. G.
The food is ok with slow service during busy times. It is still one of the better options for a coffee in Kings Park.
J. C.
Met up with a friend and enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere.
A variety of gathering people from all over the world and the locals taking in the beautiful surroundings Perth has to offer here in Kings Park.
A must see place to come to when visiting our lovely city.
A. T.
Nice food along the view of the city from King’s Park
D. S.
Enjoyed my coffee and the scone was quite good too. If only I didn't have to wait so long for it. They weren't that busy either. Fairly standard for Perth IMHO.
S. K.
Convenient and in a fantastic location. Changing my review to add another star. Went there the weekend before last and the coffee was made to perfection. Didn't try any food though.
A. C.
Very busy cafe with good food and service. Only thing is that they had run out of beer when we called back for a second visit. Shame as it was local brew. Didn't spoil things though.
M.
Sadly i have to say tha service has gone back to the standards of old. Old display board at the front of the business with a lot of the products no longer available and the ones that are have old pricing on.
Time to lift your game and stop embarrassing Perth. This is a tourist hotspot!
S. V. A.
We regularly have coffee here after our group rides, and the service is excellent, coffee is great, and the food is delicious. The staff are cyclist friendly and we enjoy cooking here.
J. F.
Lovely location and restaurant. Pity the girl behind the counter today couldn’t provide happy customer service. Quite spoilt my experience. No smile, no welcome... no feeling that I or any of us were at all important.
J. C.
It was really busy but they still got good coffee and quality food to us quickly. A very enjoyable and tasty lunch.
G. M. H.
Very nice atmosphere, they turned on the many heatings and put the covers, so that it was cozy even with the cold. Yummy food and beverages, fast staff.
m. A.
Delicious Fish and Chips.. quick service too. Lovely place with stunning views.
J. M.
Not a bad spot a for beer or a wine on a nice sunny day.
H. J.
Nice coffee but a long wait. Nice scenery but the pannacotta was a bit expensive. Yummy though.
C. M.
Really nice coffee and lots of yummy treats. Great view also of the city
M. H.
Best views of any cafe in Perth bar none. Coffee is pretty good as well.
P. C.
Nice coffee and beautiful view. Could do with a nicer Cafe. Very basic.
J. G.
The most perfect place to spend quality time with high quality Coffee. Exceptional customer service. I'm a coffee lover, and I have discovered here the perfect quality coffee.
K. M.
Nice spot, quick service and nice selection of food. Free parking and stunning views.
R. A.
Hade a nice time after a wonderful day in kings park
V. B.
Nice location. Expected high prices. I got the tim tam delight because it looked the biggest for the price (value) haha. Tasted not good. The tim tam wasn’t even fresh. The only reason I gave it 3 ⭐️ was because the coffee was good ☕️
A. w.
Want a restaurant with a view? This is it. Nothing better than a Saturday afternoon, in the sun with a beer overlooking the city. Have been lots of times and the food is always good!
J. B.
These pics are at King's Park Botanic Gardens, Perth. All the plants & flowers we saw are Aust natives. A great show of so many different species
C. V. M.
Venue and food great but they could brush up on their service. Timing of meals was slow and often wrong and not many smiles on the staff faces
D. R.
A good mix of items on the menu, from straight up fish and chips to more adventurous food offerings. Bring a jumper in winter in case you don't get a seat next to a heater!
T. T.
Great spot, friendly service. Nice coffee.
A. R.
Last time we went it was too busy so we got takeaway coffee and sat by the perpetual remembrance flame. , Coffee was competent; no more, no less.
J. M.
If you're after food that's not as posh as Frasers next door and classier that a pie and chips from the kiosk on the other side then this is the place. Oh....and spectacular views to the City of Perth from beautiful Kings Park.
C. J.
Very respectful and nice staff even pointing out the baby change room for my friend and I when we brought our babies out for a coffee. The muffins and coffee were on point too.
J. N.
Great spot for a coffee, breakfast or lunch. Stunning views of the Perth. CBD
J. C.
Best turmeric latte I have had, and I've been drinking them around Perth for years. Absolutely delightful.
T. T.
Good food, good coffee, great atmosphere good service. The breeze could have been about 1 degree warmer but that was beyond their control.
L. S.
I find the food and service quite nice here despite the low review score. Yeah, it’s a bit pricey though.
A. G.
A nice place to grab some breakfast or lunch, but just make sure you book on the weekend as wait times can be long.
The food was quite filling with the large serving sizes.
A. F.
I have only had early morning coffee here. It is so much better than you might think a place with amazing views and a captive audience might be.
L. B.
We didn't want to come here because of the reviews, but we are happy we did - good food and efficient service. Nothing particularly special, but a very good food option.
J.
Nice but simple. Seating arrangements alright. Food ok but cakes weren't fresh. Hard and cold, cream was off.
J. F.
I liked this place, beautiful touristy but the need to put more attendance on the tail so that customers can pay as quick as possible and get on with the day instead of standing in the queue and waiting for ages
E. W.
Spectacular view, nice casual food and dining at a reasonable price. Closing hours are not precise, it depends on how busy they are.
D. S.
Beautiful atmosphere, stunning views, delicious food, fast efficient service and all round very pleasant place, enough lunch menu choices, great if alone, with another person or in groups :)
K. J.
Food was lovely and not overpriced. Beautifully decorated space that was buzzing with tourists and wait time wasnt long for food or coffees.
M. Y.
It was very good even in the rain. Plenty of places to get out of the rain.
A. Z.
Apart from waiting a while for your coffee, Its a perfect place with great views. Very relaxing atmosphere.
C. K.

K. V.
Beautiful setting. The staff was efficient but could be a bit more friendly.
Food was good thoigh!
A. H.
Location is very hard to beat. Views limited to tables outside. Food ok, nothing special, expensive. But it's a Kings Park experience.
K. T.
Great coffee and fabulous views
E. E.
Service was good, food was alright but found some rust in and out of my milkshake cup!
A. C.
I have had hit and misses with this one. Last time I only ordered a coffee to go and it took way too long seeing that the place was not full and it was during the day on a week day.
A. G.
Food and coffee were both great. Excellent staff and there were some tables for outside that had a great view.
a.
the food was aesthetically pleasing, the place was nice and comfy even when it's cold outside
J. B.
Pretty spot. A little expensive
R.
Nice and convenient hang out place. But quite overpriced and service is mediocre since it feels more like a market not very personal
V. L.
Both atmosphere and meal are good

G. M.
A very beautiful setting.
