Had a lovely time last Saturday. Staff was very friendly and the coffee was impressive, too. Just a thought - wish it makes clear that Museum Cafe and Epoch Cafe are the same since it confused me at first. My friends said they were at Museum Cafe, which wasn’t on the map so I asked help to get here.

My favourite cafe so far
Friendly staff , Delicious food , LOVEE the mushroom Toastie and almond croissant.
Coffee is so good I have to visit every week

Enjoyed my lunch in Epoch Cafe.
The space is full of light and reminds me of Europe. Hot chocolate was delicious and ham and cheese croissant was filling and warm.
I’ll be back ✨

Had a beef and mushroom pie for lunch, pie was HUGE, and crammed full of meltingly tender meat and mushrooms. Next time I will remember to get a fork, the pie was so big it was difficult to hold, but so yummy. They had some interesting looking beers in the drinks fridge, would love to try one next time.

Had a beautiful brunch at Epoch yesterday! I was so impressed by the modern open space, decorated with beautiful native florals and sculptures that you can also purchase! The brunch menu was so yummy and the eggs were poached PERFECTLY! The coffee was great and even got some treaties from the cabinet which were fresh and delicious, with that homemade taste. Friendly and helpful staff who were quick to bring our order out. Gorgeous spot to eat and will be back again 🙂 Thanks Epoch!

The food is okay nothing special, and we just order some snacks before visiting the museum, but I like the place, it's beautiful, cozy, relax, with friendly staff 😊 great for resting before or after visiting the museum

Newly added cafe at recently renovated WA Museum. Open and modern space, both coffee and food are good but waited for so long for the food to arrive.

Convenient location for museum, AGWA, state library, etc. Quick service, quality food, plenty of seating.

The staff was super friendly and you could tell they were all working super hard. Everyone seemed to enjoy their coffees, although mine was extremely milky. There’s lots of gluten free options which was great! But it was a bit pricey, the chips were a bit too salty and the burger wasn’t the best. They also accidentally overcharged us. But place has great potential and I hope it gets better! :D

The pie was $9. The chips were about $9. The filling was nice but only half filled the crust, leaving an air pocket inside. I had chippies too, which were cut thin and sprinkled generously with coarse salt. Bring a brush with you to remove some of the salt. There was nothing really for children on the menu. Crocodile pies and other challenging items lined the displays. The coffee was nice but was not the large portion I was hoping for. After slogging through the museum I was ready to eat but Epoch is more style over substance. A bit like the museum.

Really nice and reasonably priced cafe, the baked goods seem exceptional!

Stopped here after visiting the newly refurbished museum. Nice spot to have a coffee and pie after the museum tour. Crocodile pie very nice. Beef and mushroom pie light on filling, otherwise okay. Salad was nice also. Staff friendly and polite.

Gorgeous space and attentive staff, even during that tricky initial teething period that all establishments experience at the beginning. Delicious crab linguini and home made pies.. And it's so nice to have something a bit different, especially after a such a strange period of time that has been so difficult for everyone in hospitality. Will go again and again..

We headed to Epoch after a morning at the new museum. Even with it being school holidays and so busy, the staff were so attentive and friendly.
A great coffee and a home made pie were exactly what I needed. Love the decor!

Really delicious coffee but the best part was the staff, who were attentive and kind enough for me to come leave this review :)

Staff were so lovely and accommodating of our crazy kids. Food was absolutely delicious and we loved the beautiful coffee cups, crockery and water glasses.

The best kids lunch option in Perth? Sandwich, carrot sticks and hommus, yoghurt and grapes. So much better than the usual “kids menu is hotdogs and fish and chips”. Coffee was great. Crockery really nice too. Very pleasant after a morning at the museum.

Great variety of very tasty sweet and savoury options utilising native ingredients. Well spaced out. Could use biodegradable cups though!

The Mushroom Toasties are scrumptious. Coffee is great. Staff friendly.

Amazing coffee and scrambled eggs, perfect breakfast to start the day before a tour of the museum.

Is OK.. But very long queue and linguine was not flash. Rest of the table enjoyed their meal.
