One of my favourite cafés in Perth! I would say it would be in my top 5 brunch spots! Great coffee and they always have really nice specials.

6 stars, favourite place for breakfast and lunch. Staff are friendly and service is fast. Must have visited 50+ times now over the years and loved every meal (esp. the crumpets!). There is often a wait for a table on a Saturday but it is usually no more than 10 minutes for a table for two. Check the specials for something new, and they might have pancakes if you are lucky! 🥞

Had Gusto's breakfast and my spouse had a benny.. plus half of mine because the portion was huge. Presentation and service was fantastic. Nicely balanced mocha, not too sweet.. Perfectly poached eggs and a lovely bowl of garlicy mushrooms cooked to the ideal texture were my favourite parts of the meal but everything was just lovely. Didn't specify on the menu but are they using truffle sausage?

Wow! We have been wanting to come here for ages but there was always a line when I went. I can see why it was so popular! Food was excellent and coffee was well made. Service was also very good and it is dog friendly out front which is a bonus. Highly recommended! Aim for an early or late breakfast to skip the crowd.

Make sure to fast before heading to Gusto Food because their servings are huge. No fuss, order at the counter when you’re ready, staff are helpful and plenty of parking around the area. Will definitely be back to try Brunch Menu.

What a great place! We went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning and at first I was disappointed that there were no pancakes on the menu. I chose the cinnamon milk toast which came with bacon, maple syrup, fried banana and homemade honeycomb. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. It was delicious and the sweet and salty flavours worked really well together. Hubby had bacon and eggs with tomato and hash browns. He's a bit of a traditionalist and expected his hash browns to look like those at McDonald's. These hash browns were more like potato cakes and I tasted them and they were fantastic. I'm not normally someone who eats hash browns but if they were like Gusto's, I definitely would! Coffee was lovely too, and it was hot. Not luke warm. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Loved it. Servings were huge. Will be back again. Pulled pork sandwich blew my taste buds away. A sizable portion which was good. Homemade has which was lovely. Ciabatta was soft inside and crispy outside. Benedict - eggs were perfect. Hollandaise was light and tasty. Shaved ham was beautiful.

This lovely place served awesome brunch that you must visit when you are in Perth. I searched on Google based on the reviews then drove over there for brunch. The cafe is around neighborhood which is easy to find as well. One more thing to highlight is their gluten-free brownie would definitely make my bf and I pay a visit again when I back in Perth.

Gusto always makes a pretty decent meal, but I can find the meals can be too extra (if that's a thing)... As in you struggle to finish them because they're just so full on. Depending what you order of course, but they're pretty big and heavy. Which can also be a wonderful thing, don't get me wrong! 99% of the time you'll have to wait in line out the front but they take your name down and the line does move. The service is friendly. You have to order at the counter which can be annoying cos it's very cosy and there's not much room to get in/out your chair and line up, but whatever works. It's worth it.

Gusto is known for its brunch for a reason. The only downside is they stop serving breakfast at 11.30. Make sure you have an empty stomach when going here, the portions are massive! 😋

One of the best cafes in Perth hands down. The staff are always so warm, welcoming and observant. The cafe is quite small in size, but to be honest, it gives off a more cozy and homey vibe. Although there is sometimes a line during the peak brunch hour on Saturday and Sunday, I promise you it is all worth it. The food is spectacular; the chefs uses the freshest local ingredients daily and all the cakes are baked in house. The servings are so generous in size, and the presentation is exceptional, so make sure you have your stomachs ready! In my opinion, I love the big gusto breakfast . My friends also said that they enjoyed the cinnamon milk toast, the slab ham benedict, and the cheesy scrambled eggs! PS; don't forget to takeaway some sugar donuts for a lil sneaky snack at home !

Visited this cafe few years ago and today we came back and had gusto breakfast & cafe de Paris sirloin. The standard has not gone down. The food was great & beautifully presented and the wait wasn't long considering how busy the place was. coffee wasn't bad as well. Thumbs up to the kitchen staff that work so hard to maintain such a high standard consistently! Will definitely come back!

The staff were on point and very helpful. It is quite small but I personally didn't feel cramped. I didn't like that the drinks came with plastic straws especially in that neighbourhood.

Located on the fashionable Angelo Street strip of South Perth Gusto is the popular choice going by the queue of customers. Indoor seats 15-20 outdoor around 6. We only had metal stools for our breakfast visit but the table was big enough for our dishes and drinks. My fried eggs on ciabatta with a side of bacon was well presented and tasty but the eggs had been left sitting on the side evident by the temperature and overcooked appearance of the egg yolks. The bacon was plentiful but drenched in oil and had charred edges. Overall a good experience because of the company and general feel of the place.

My wife and I visit gusto in South Perth every fortnight or so for breakfast. The staff are always extremely polite and attentive, and the pulled pork benedict is absolutely mouth-watering! Can get very busy at certain times for good reason- but well worth the wait!

Angelo Street is a prime eating and drinking destination in South Perth. Gusto Food has an Italian influenced menu which is popular with locals. An Italian friend told that "gusto" in Italian means "good flavour." The sirloin steaks are very good if you want a substanial meal.

Gusto Foods was awesome, if you are ever in South Perth look them up you won't be disappointed. Walking the streets of South Perth with our dog we were looking for some breakfast and chose Gusto. Oh WOW how delicious was the B burger (think thats what it was called ) definitely worth stopping for, you know that kind if burger you want to eat slowly but just devour, the caramelized onion, bacon and milk bun so soft completes the delicousness of your breakfast. We also had the homemade crumpets, filling but delicious with the peanut crumb (could just eat a bowl of that ) and a fruit compote. Yes I was full but happy full. Definitely go back when back in town.

This one just had a small bruschetta on the side, a smear of avo smash and pumpkin under the salmon - just not appetising at all. The inconsistency is annoying; one day the dishes are large and the food pairing is great and the other day it’s the contrary. That’s it for me at Gusto, too expensive for not enough

I really enjoy my visits to Gusto's. On Sundays I always get in early at opening time to avoid lining up behind the strange people wearing bicycle attire. I always order The Lot that consists of two poached eggs, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages and and toast. If you order a cappuccino make sure you take a sip out of the mug straight away because the tables are inside Gustos are set on jarrah floorboards and they shake when someone walks past. One more morning there was a pair of young children running up and down the aisle. I had to resist the uncontrollable urge to slide my foot out from underneath the table. The cutlery knifes are of good quality but the forks can be average average at times. I was once given a fork with bent tines. Overall, every visit the food and coffee have been great and the staff have been polite.

Three stars for the fantastic food and 2/3 staff are very friendly. It's just that the guy with the beard has this expression that says "I hate having to talk to you". I thought it was just me but he's like that with other customers as well. Not cool. Another thing is it's a little pricey so naturally you wouldn't want to waste anything, if you are allergic to one of the items on your dish say, eggs... apparently they "don't do replacements". Food here is incredible. We had the crumpets and the gusto breakfast - serving sizes are extremely generous (you could share if you were tight on cash) and they have such amazing flavour combinations! Bacon was cooked perfectly especially. Coffee is also good. You won't be disappointed!
