Sadly both cakes we tried were very dry, couldn’t finish them :-( The three cheese toastie was okay. The pannacotta was nice- light. The berry or jam stuff on top was great. The Yuzu cheesecake had a nice flavour, though it didn’t taste too much like a cheesecake.

Great little spot. It could do with some more outside seating, but the coffee and hot chocolates were great. We even organised a cup of tea for our dog. (Mr Leo) staff were great, and the customers that came in loved our dog. If there was more outside seating it would be a 5 star place. It was well priced as well. We’ll be back.

Went on an evening to get cakes for dessert(had this place on my saved page for a while). They boxed them nicely and gave us wooden forks. Overall everything looks very nice. The thing is the cakes fell short, after we bit into them. They didn't have much flavour and one of the cakes had a very odd texture. Like it was mousse that had dried. The tiramisu was just a piece of cake, nothing special. Overall ..considering the price( payed ~18$ for 2 cakes) ..I think this place is very overhyped. I have no desire to recommend this place nor am I going back. I do like their Instagram page, but as far as I'm concerned, they just take beautiful pictures of the cakes and the taste is secondary to looks.

The only difference between Kopi Seru and Little Matcha Girl is the new name. You will still experience quality food and service as always. There is street parking around the cafe location. Inside, the cafe is clean, bright, and open, seating inside and outside. Delicious cakes are in the display counter, they also have a little gift corner is you're looking for something extra.

**Updated 19/09/21** With the news of the change of ownership / name last month I was concerned that things would change for the worse, but can happily say this venue is still amazing! My only suggestion would be to have your specialty Indonesian coffee beans / ground coffee available for sale in-store, it'll certainly get the name out a bit more. Great attention to detail with food and beverages. Matcha / Black Sesame drinks are very authentic. Yuzu Cheesecake is probably one of the best citrus cheesecakes you can get in Perth. Prices reasonable, especially considering the specialty nature of many of the drinks served. Fantastic online ordering interface for cakes, still something that is very rare for bakeries and cafes in Perth. A more extensive breakfast menu would be the only thing on my wish list, but otherwise perfect! A must try for cakes and matcha.

One of the best cafe experiences I have had so far. Cakes a little expensive but worth every cent and calorie. I came for the first time on Sunday and the coffee was spectacular. Smooth, perfect temperature and delicious, with pretty coffee art. I brought some mates down today but unfortunately got there as they were closing. The little barista with the nice smile from Sunday was happy to serve us even though everything was packed up and even took time to explain what the different matchas were. Special thanks to her it made our day. The hoojicha was beautiful. All in all, great drinks, great food and great service. The barista was cutest little thing as well. Hope to return soon.

My favourite little Cafe! The only place in Perth to get quality Matcha tea! I love all their delicate little cakes, I've tried almost all of them! The staff are all friendly and sweet. I highly recommend visiting, it's definitely worth more than one visit.

Wow! A must try for everyone. Como was lacking a great coffee shop until now. Little Matcha Girl has the best espresso and alternative drinks such as Matcha Lattes in South Perth / Como area. This is where you get your coffee on your way to work. It is now my daily ritual.

Love the matcha latte and matcha cakes/slices. However the Caramel pear cake was not divine enough to be $10.50 for a slice size 35mm x 150mm x 35mm (1.6inch x 4.5inches x 1.6inch) . It is not their signature dessert...i cant fathom it...it bothered me allnight. ...except perhaps they paid someone to bake it at a premium? Why bother? 3 of us didnt /couldnt finish it. I decided to wrap it to take away only because it was an expensive commodity! It is not even organic! It is a deal breaker for me to the point of not returning :( what a shame!

(Translated) A valuable shop where you can enjoy delicious Japanese matcha and cakes while you are in Perth. I felt that it was the most Japanese-style cafe among the more than 100 Perth cafes we have visited so far. That should be the case, and the owner, Stephanie, is using the inspiration he got from the matcha culture in Kyoto and the patisserie in Tokyo to make products at the store while traveling to Japan. As for Japanese tea, we are so particular about purchasing additive-free tea leaves directly from matcha farmers in Kyoto. It's such a shop, so it's not that it's not delicious, and the matcha and hojicha latte and basque cheese cake were very nice. There is also a brunch menu, soba noodle salad and okonomiyaki, which are also reasonably delicious. It's a place that is easily accessible from the city, so be sure to check it out. (Original) パースにいながら日本の美味しい抹茶とケーキが味わえる貴重なお店。これまで私達が行った100店舗以上のパースのカフェのなかでも1番日本ぽいお店だと感じた。 それもそのはずでオーナーのステファニーは日本旅行中に京都の抹茶文化や東京のパティスリーから得たインスピレーションをお店での商品作りに生かしているとのこと。 日本茶についても京都の抹茶農家から無添加の茶葉を直接仕入れるほどのこだわりぶり。 そんなお店なので美味しくないわけがなく、抹茶やほうじ茶のラテやバスクチーズケーキはとても素晴らしかった。 ブランチメニューもあって蕎麦ヌードルサラダやお好み焼きなどもあってこちらもまずまずの美味しさ。 シティからでも簡単にアクセスできる場所なのでぜひ行ってみて。
