Good coffee and nice decor but I really struggle with the Open Plan, like where do you stand to order? There is no to line up so you just kind of awkwardly stand there hoping the staff with see you (but maybe not as the layout means they have their back to the room)

Passionate about cold drip coffee and bonus points for being in the suburb I grew up in. The smashed avocado (2 pieces just snapped one) is also very well worth it 👏 Toasties are next on the list to try.

My goodness the coffee here is good. The staff are lovely and the bagels are delicious. But if you're looking for lunch you gotta get here early, they close at around 1-ish

Open plan is a gem of Perth that I am lucky to have been introduced to. The layout is cosy and personable, allowing for more interaction with staff - all of which are warm, friendly and welcoming. It is apparent that the recipes have been curated with the uttermost care and attention to detail, otherwise simple meals are anything but that. An example, mushrooms on toast; all the elements by themselves taste great, but altogether it's like an orchestra of colorful, delicious flavors that I have never tasted before. The coffee methods are unique and the coffee itself... let's just say, I never appreciated, let alone enjoyed the taste of black coffee until dining here. Clear to see I love everything about this place. Great work.

Unique, relaxed little venue. Maybe room for 25 people seated. Good range of house made baked goods and really good coffee. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area

Awesome little place. They roast their own coffee, make their own bread, the coffee and food is made to perfection and they have the best home made chilli sauce around (although frequently sold out :( because it's so good). Tim and the team do a great job, there's a lot of attention to detail and great old fashioned customer service. Definitely recommend checking this place out for a quick coffee/breakfast/lunch/brunch/snack.

Ordered beans online from Open Plan. They were roasted and dispatched the next day. Postage was very slow Perth to Sydney, but can’t fault Open Plan for that! And the beans ordered - Parity and Hora Dorada- were both excellent. I would order again, particularly the Hora Dorada.

New to the North Perth neighbourhood and first thing we had to do was work out which of the circa 30 cafes around had the best coffee and....drum roll! It is definitely these guys. Well worth a visit if your'e in North Perth.

Fantastic cafe with nil faults on several visits. The food has been delicious with real depth to flavour try their pulled pork with Tabasco. The coffee matches their great food all at reasonable prices. A must try with standards higher than the Angove St strip. Additionally, they are not pretentious which is a welcome change to the cafe sceen.
