Comments of Toast Cafe

Nice spot right on the river
Tried the Turkish eggs which was delicious, a pretty good size and good value for $21 and a cappuccino
My buddy got the chicken rosti, it looked delicious and be liked it , pretty expensive for $24 I think but still nice.
Worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.
S. O.
Nice little Cafe on the Claisebrook cove overlooking the water.
The food was 50/50 for me. My rosti was disappointing but hubbys nasi goreng was delicious with massive amounts of fresh seafood.
The coffee was great but grapefruit juice was not fantastic.
Its a cute place with a nice vibe but I'm not rushing to go back any time soon
T. Y.
Busy lovely lil'cafe. We had made reservations in advance so did not have trouble getting a table but place was near max occupancy. Had to queue to place our order and then had a bit of a wait (30 to 45 minutes) for food to arrive. Lots of time to chill out, read and chat 😀. Food when it arrived was delicious and lovely!
R. Y.
Good coffee quality
Food is fine
The reason I like here is location
Near river is a relax place
K. B.
You can tell from the huge number of people and river views that this place does an amazing trade. The food is great, lots of smoothies to choose from and a chance to sit in the sun (or shade)
C. M.
Above average but lacking when it comes to consistency, maybe it could just be me? My thoughts are this could be an amazing cafe as they have some delicious breakfast options on menu. Will be back again and I'll update my review accordingly.
A.
Bustling vibrant cafe, good food and great, friendly service. Efficient ordering and drinks out super quick despite being super busy food followed shortly after even when warned about a wait. Manager/owner so friendly and all smiles which was so refreshing. Food tasty and great range on the menu. Great spot can't wait to go back.
P. H.
I enjoyed a nice breakfast here and the coffee is good. Fantastic location.
A. T. C.
Busy little cafe, staff was very attentive and the food was great. Our food took a little long to arrive, and the manager came to apologize and he make sure we had a great experience.
Will definitely come back. 😁
J. L.
Very friendly service even they were full house and under the pressure! Love their coffee but I am quite disappointed on the foods. Pumpkin was burnt and spinach was very salty.
r. s.
Pleasant East Perth cafe with inexpensive coffee and food.
The atmosphere is very chilled out, though it can get very busy, largely due to the quality and pricing of food and beverages.
On a downside, the furniture is fairly low quality, with the seats being uncomfortable at times. You keep sliding off them outside.
It is however very pleasant to sit here by the water with a coffee chatting with friends.
On the whole a great little East Perth cafe.
H.
I ordered cheesy baghel breakfast, with banana mango smoothie. My friend ordered a bacon breakfast which had sourdough Bread, which was very very very hard.
Nonetheless, I liked the view and the terrific smoothie... Customer service could have been more better. So four starts for now...
K.
The food and the place was great. The owner made sure we were well taken care of and took our feedback seriously. We ordered the farmers breakfast, cheesey scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on a potato cake. Some of the food came either bland or too salty. I think it’s a one off mistake, neither of which took away from the overall experience which was amazing, as they took great care of us and the food actually tasted really good. 10/10 will recommend to anyone.
C. T.
Overall pleasant dining experience. Ordered a dish similar to one that was available in one of its competing stores, and honestly prefer the other store's.
What this café has over the other local cafes is the broader menu options which allows fussy eaters more choices if they were dining in the East Perth area.
In terms of parking, if you don't live in the area, be mindful that it may be pricy if you were to park in a paid parking meter. For weekend people, I would suggest that you look for parking just north of Claisebrook Cove for free parking.
P. K.
Top quality coffee with a choice of milk including your regular cow varieties, soy, almond and coconut. Delicious carrot cake and chocolate cake.
Amazing view of Claisbrook Cove.
We attended Toast cafe for a birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the owner Mark was amazing.
D. C.
Great food and customer service, coupled with friendly staff and relaxing environment. Will definitely return for more. In this occasion, the chilli mushroom with spinach and feta on toast was yummy, while the Nutella banana hazelnut crepe was a bit small but tasty.
J. Y.
One of the best coffee I've ever had. The aroma was on point, the roast was good and I love the balance between the milk and coffee to create the awesome cup of cappuccino I had. I ordered the French toast special to go with my coffee. Really enjoyable experience at East Perth
K. P.
AMAZING!!!
Great coffee, great staff, great location. If you are lucky, you may even spot some dolphins. The chilli mushroom is amazing, I always get that. The coffee is good too.
I go there often, and just once was the chilli mushroom a little bland then usual.
Not a major problem in my books though, still give it a 5star.
w. w.
small little cafe , great ambiance to hang out. The food was great specially poached eggs with tomato relish. like the services too.
h. H.
Staff was very friendly and nice. However food was just alright. Poached egg was over cooked. Flat white had too much foam and not smooth enough. Presentation wasn't really nice as well.
D. H.
Great little cafe in East Perth by the water. Easy walking distance to Optus Stadium if you were looking for somewhere for a coffee or meal on the way. The make the best coffees! Full of flavour and if you ask for the extra shot, it’s definitely in there! Well done Toast! Quaint little place full of surprises!
L. S. (. P.
Food is delicious. Nice place to spend time with friends or family. You can enjoy the food with beautiful river view. I also walked along the river after the brunch. Nice place.
O. R. H.
One of my favourite place for brunch 😋😋 yummy food, well cooked, beautiful view and so relaxing
L. L.
Brilliant service, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very welcoming.
Food was cooked amazing and big servings too.
The hot chocolate was the best I've had in a long time. The caramel latte was actually made correctly, wasn't burnt and best here in Western Australia that we have had so far.
S. B.
Beautiful location for Sunday brunch. They have amazing food, and as there is ample of it, if you can't finish you can ask to takeaway.
J. G.
Lovely outdoor area facing the water. We tried the banana bread with honey and mascarpone and that was delicious. My sister had the toast with nutella and was disappointed with the little amount on the toast which made it really dry (for $10.50 you would expect more). I will also say that the crêpe section is ridiculously overpriced - $11 for a lemon and sugar crêpe? That is way too expensive! Crêpes are literally just made with flour, milk and 1 egg and super easy to make. I do not understand why they charge so much for them! Also the highchair system they had is not great for smaller babies. It was basically two cushions placed on a chair and those cushions at straps but the straps couldn't be tight enough to really hold my baby properly (she is nearly 1 year old).
A. W.
Friendly service, lovely setting to relax and take in the view near the water. Pricing is middle tier but tasty and we'll presented. If you are looking for a place to chill out and unplug then I would highly recommend.
E.
Excellent location, reasonably quick service, a bit crowded but then there are two cafes next to each other.
L. M.
Love this place! Took myself here for a birthday breakfast treat. Would give it 6 stars if I could - the view is amazing, the food is exciting but tasty and the service is brilliant. BE WARNED: it is super busy at all times, most days and hard to find parking in the area. HOT TIP: Cheap parking above the IGA and if you can't get a seat right away, take a wander around Claisebrook Cove or Victoria Gardens and then come back. This place is high turnover so you will only have to wait 10-15 mins for a table.
Y. J.
Enjoyed our breakfast here. Friendly staff and cozy place. Definitely we’ll be back!
D. S.
Great ambience. Food was also good with their all day brunch menu. Coffee portion was a little small but tasted great. Definitely a place worth coming for a lazy sunday
M. T.
Excellent venue with an extensive menu - something for everyone. A must try
A. L.
Excellent breakfast / brunch by the east perth bay. Super friendly staff, amazing food and great ambiance. Thanks guys
X. N.
This place is generally very busy and quite hard to find a table. In my opinion the food and drinks are average. What wins us over was the view and if other surrounding restaurants are packed we're likely to find a seat here instead.
The staff are friendly and the service is great. It's worth a visit.
i. h.
Great friendly service dog friendly a well with bowls of water place around for the 4 legged patrons
G.
Best coffee and great food, very friendly staff and nice location. Love this place!
H. F.
I always come for their tasty french toast. Great place to stop after a walk and enjoying my Sunday
Y. T.
We love this local spot always a good meal 😋 and a get way to enjoy the local area!
C. T.
Very respectable brunch location, beautiful views. Dog friendly. Love hos the have toys and games for young children available. Mostly outdoor seating shaded by umbrellas.
P. B.
Hey it's always cool when u really need coffee on a cold winters morning and you turn up and they are waiting for y'all because ain't nobody else around..so yeah like having my own personal barista this day..plus great tasting coffee too..
M. T.
Impeccable Service with a smile today. Love the relaxed atmosphere and excellent staff. Stark contrast to their next door neighbour, will always choose to come back here and unfortunately the partisan (next door) won't have my business.
E. P.
Great Views and epic all day breakfast! well worth a visit.
k. c.
Great breakfast , friendly staff , the muffins were coming out of the oven as we ordered and they looked fabulous.
E. k.
The breakfast was very nice and I loved the view it was amazing 🤩 highly recommended
M. B.
Chilled setting, great to relax and get some good food by the river. Fast and friendly service. Recommend the eggs benediction and the Hunters chicken salad.
A. M.
Nice coffee, friendly staff and great place to sit.
B. T.
Awesome staff friendly environment awesome food would definitely come here again for a big breakfast. There crepes are 🔥
N. S.
Lovely cafe with outdoor seatings. Staff are very friendly and they do nice coffee and cakes! Cute and unique place.
M. K.
My wife and I went there for lunch.
She ordered Eggs Hollandaise + Ham and I had a Cheese Burger
Both the dishes tasted average. Service was OK
J. H. O.
Great food & outlook, hectic Saturday morning only 20 minute wait for food..only downfall FOH need to engage & smile and acknowledge their patrons.
C. D.
Delicious breakfast, excellent service and wonderful views. The slow roasted tomatoes are the best I’ve ever tasted!
J. S.
All day breaky with sumptuous selections. Can be a lil be crowded, but definitely worth the time to experience their menu.
L. H. Đ.
I have just visited the restaurant about 2 hours ago. The service is really good as well as beautiful scenery. However, I am experiencing the abdominal pain right now. I give the 4 stars review and hope that they can read my comment and improve the quality of the food if needed.
R. F.
Usually reliable cafe in a great location, but because of this be prepared for it to fill up.
Coffee and Breakfasts are good, with a good variety, however this morning my corn fritters were a but stodgy. Portion sizes are also good (and not too big).
N. T. K.
Awesome service … even on such a busy Grand Final day … nothing was too much trouble … 👍🏼
G. S.
Awesome service, excellent scenery, top menu great coffee and aesthetically pleasing decore.
J. S.
We really enjoyed our visit. The evening was slow, view was wonderful and we had plenty of time to interact with the staff. They accommodated the dog with water as well as the rest of us.
They seemed to have no problem with us lingering about, short walks, dog interactions. We had great conversation. We each ordered different plates. Our delightful food came at the same time, was warm and politely presented. This is an elegant yet casual setting. Beautiful view and an easy walk the park and area. It will now be a favorite evening place when we are back in the country. Give it a try, take your smile, relax and enjoy some down time.
M. R.
I stumbled across this cafe one afternoon in April and it was such a delight. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. The pricing is what you would expect for cafe breakfasts and they did deliver good portions and good coffee. Great atmosphere. I really liked the view of the water from my table. I would definitely visit again. Maybe with a few friends next time.
E. Y.
Great food, good views!
N. L.
Friendly and helpful staff, foods yummy, coffee is good too!
D. B.
Terrific cafe. We had breakfast at Toast on Sunday morning, family of 4. The venue was really busy with lots of happy patrons enjoying their meals. We were seated quickly, water bought straight to our table with the menus. Order at the counter, great selection of choices for food & drink. Prompt service of drinks, followed soon after by our meals which were fantastic. Friendly & attentive service, great food, drinks & a terrific view over Claisebrook Cove. Definitely reccomend Toast, we will be back. Cheers, Mike & Debbie Brittain
D. S.
Reasonably priced, friendly service, but probably best to ask for fresh cooked food, as everything I got was cold.
A. M.
Busy but still good service and food.
S. M.
I had a gorgeous breakfast in the sun, the surrounding river and terrace houses make for a serene atmosphere. Coffee was great, and the banana bread with a poached pear is essential.
S. I.
Really good breakfast and coffee was great
I. V.
What a find this place was today! Have been traveling in Perth for last 3 weeks and wish I had of found this place sooner!!! The French toast was amazing and loved the fresh juice, Beach Bear. Such a quirky and super friendly place with a great view of East Perth river front.
J. K.
We had a wonderful breakfast here several times during our stay. It is welcoming and friendly, the all day breakfast menu is extensive, coffee is excellent and the fresh juices delicious. We tried a lot of different options and loved every mouthful
C. V.
Great location on the water for brekky or coffee with friends! Very popular in the mornings with cyclists!
J. C.
Located in a great spot in East Perth, if you aren't familiar with the area it is definitely worth a visit. 4/5 for the coffee, with non dairy options, however the toast we ordered wasn't as amazing as a place called "Toast" led us to expect. It definitely should have been cut thicker, it was thin and very dry, maybe ask how people like their toast first? The selection of jams people can help themselves to was great though, will definitely be back.
C. S.
Great place to catch up with friends.
Excellent coffee and the best place for breakfast or brunch.
Service is friendly and attentive
M. B.
Great coffee, great food and the staff were lovely. The setting isn't too shabby either!
K. C.
The French toast is just awesome 👌 👏 👍
M. O.
Have been coming here for a while. Used to be amazing and but I'm downgrading to OK. Not somewhere I'd be rushing back to.
I like their fresh juices and coffee is not bad either, but there is a general lack of love in most things. recently had the cauliflower and zucchini fritter - too much flour and not much else. The salsa had 6 diced tomatoes at best. My alternative meal is the blue cheese crepe which is my presence of the two. Pretty good if you like blue cheese.
M. J.
Best cappuccino everrr! The food was amazing! We were a table of 12 and the staff was very patient with us. It was an amazing experience 😁
R. B.
Great food excellent fast service accommodated us in raining conditions with a nice dry setting as we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Definitely Recommend
m. g.
Amazing breakfast with a great selection of different breakfast treats. Friendly staff too and a very nice location.
J. C.
Quality coffee, great service!
C. G. (. G.
An interesting cafe with a unique taste on an old breakfast favourite... Toast. I loved the menu and variety on offer and have never had anything like the avocado mint smash toast shown in the photo - delicious.
B. D.
Nice and quiet spot in the city. Coffee was good, especially with the lactose free option! Food tasted good, and the fresh juices were refreshing, staff was professional and kind.
I did enjoy this place..
H. C.
This place is by the waterfront and serves delicious breakfasts, so it's a fantastic spot for weekend brunch. I had a ricotta crepe with honey and almonds on top, quite delicious, along with a chocolate milkshake (which was giant). My friends ordered various things like the Big Breakfast (the usual bacon, eggs etc) and they were happy too.
A bit like The Royal next door, this place has way more customers than what they seem to be able to comfortably deal with. Although at the same time, it WAS Mother's Day when we went. So when we ordered, we were told it would be a 20min wait. My meal came out first, with my crepe, along with my friend's frittata sitting amongst the drizzled honey on the same plate. There was a bit of confusion as to whether the plate was meant to be mine, although it got sorted out quickly.
Overall, service was friendly, food was good, nothing too bad even though it was overly busy.
K. L.
Always been our preferred spot for kayak and breaky, food is amazing but lately a bit on the small size and given the prices are $$$ they should compensate. Also they should update the deccor.. a bit to run down for such a classy place!
K. R.
This is a great spot for breakfast, the view is superb if you are lucky enough to get an outdoor table. Be sure to arrive early as it gets busy. Been here a couple of times and the food never disappoints. Hint: They generally serve their coffees in very small cups (seriously about 3 gulps!) unless you ask for it in a mug/bowl.
R. M.
Great coffee, great staff
M. D. P.
Amazing food, service & location!
S. B.
Great food, quick service and chill place next to the water.
Breakfast menu all day !
We will come back soon !
G. C.
We went for lunch I had my 2 yo with me and a stroller, although it was hard getting my stroller into the place people were very nice about it and moved chairs and no dirty looks, but will leave it in the car next time! The food was amazing really fresh and so tasty, the service was friendly, fast and efficient. It was very busy but the food didn't take long to get to us, nice eclectic feel different to all the other East Perth eateries. and I would highly recommend this place to everyone :-)
H. H. C.
Pretty average breakfast here nothing to rave about.
Y. G.
Great location, service was prompt and friendly. Coffee was of good quality and the Norwegian Benedict I had was pretty tasty. Price is standard for a cafe (ie don't expect a cheap feed). Overall very good.
A. L.
Nice view from outdoor seating. Menus are old and tattered. Coffee cup sticky. Food average. My toast was a bit tough (near the crusty end) but wife's toast was better.
S. K.
Incredibly good menu, great service (friendly, attentive and efficient), beautiful location and really decent size portions. What more could you ask for? It's defiantly my fav spot in Perth.
F. D. M.
Maybe the menu doesnt really surprise, but when you sit on one of the tables outside on a Sunny day it is absolutely worth it (as you can see from the picture). The service is great and the really patient staff allows you to move from a spot to another or to play Tetris with the tables.
If your plan is indulging in conversations while sipping a coffee next to the water you have come to the right place.
E. P. (. P.
Great food, friendly service, a little slow and a little expensive but definitely stop by and have a juice and a cheeseburger!
L. F.
Relaxed atmosphere looking at the Cove, great coffee, service and food.
R. M.
Busy spot in a pretty location.
Coffee is good but the food can be a bit hit and miss.
Lovely sitting outside when the weather is good. Chairs and tables are a little bit flimsy but I guess they make them to be transportable.
V. R.
Good deal with take-away- cups: for 25$ you get a good travel cup and a voucher for 10 cups of coffee! !! Good for the environment and good for saving money. They also make the best savoury muffins and have friendly service
G. C.
Excellent varied menu and well thought out. Good coffee and service with the owner on site and chatting away - it makes such a difference! Recommended!
P. M. T.
Brunch was 20 out of 10 according to my 9 yr old son 👍🏼
P. S.
Highly recommend Toast. Had a wonderful luncheon experience. Food was fantastic, plenty of it and service was great.
M. Y. S.
Usually a reliable brunch spot. A friend had a DIY French toast with spiced ricotta, honey and blueberries. Decadent but not overly so. My lemon slice was tooth aching that I was scrambling for the salt shaker just to cut through that sweetness.
A. C.
Good location, big menu. Decent food. My biggest gripe is the lack of a safe highchair option. We were offered a normal chair with a cushion and some flimsy cloth contraption to 'secure' (read: tie) my 10mth old to the chair. It was very unsafe, he kept slipping sideways and forwards and I ended up popping next door to Partisan to borrow a high chair. I felt so anxious using the cloth thing. Please Toast, pop to IKEA and spend $25 on a highchair before a baby gets hurt.
N. C.
We are regulars at this little gem ,the Chilli mushrooms are my new favourite go to choice on the menu , fresh chillies feta spinach and mushrooms on toast what a great surprising combination delicious !!!
B. P.
Waterfront location in East Perth / Claisebrook. Superb coffee and friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside and outside. No passing vehicles or traffic noise , only bicycles and feet. Very popular in the morning, and on weekends.
The only negative is some of the outside tables are on sloping ground and this can make them a bit wobbly and unbalanced -- but that also adds to the fun!
D. C.
Great staff, nice location. Bear in mind it can be difficult to get a seat on the weekend.
A. U.
Authentic Australian Brunch with the view of swan river
J. K.
Really great coffee on offer at toast! Takeaway is only offered in 12oz cups with double shot though and it's not cheaper for a single shot which is my only gripe, though the coffee quality makes it easy to overlook!
P. v. R.
Highlights were the roasted tomatoes with balsamic and the chocolate milkshake. The staff were very helpful when we forgot to check our meal was gluten free, also impressed that the crumbed chicken was actually gluten free! Lots of vegetarian options.
C. S.
Yes, the tables are wobbly. Yes the menus are tattered and covered in coffee stains. Yes, you may wait 30 minutes for a table without much shade. And people do it week in and week out because the food is bang on. Come for sweet or savory, coffee or tea. Toast has it all, and it's all awesome.
J. A.
Nice place by the water in East Perth. Sunday morning breakfast after a walk around the water environs is a treat. Good service and food - quick and friendly. Photo by R.Metha
R. B.
Always a favourite for breakfast, numerous options which are all delicious, with good selections for gluten free and vegetarian. Excellent coffee, beautiful view, and well priced. Will always come back for more!
S. N.
Food was great, staff are really attentive and friendly. The juices pack a punch! Great flavours. Love the location and the water-misters are a great addition for these hot days
S.
One of our regular hangout for coffee in eve after a nice walk with our dog. Beautiful surroundings n decent coffee. Love the coconut macaroon!
D. W.
Superior food, fantastic service great location.
B. M.
Yummy breakfast. Friendly staff. Quick service. Great location. Couldn't ask for much more! Keep up the good work!
J. C.
Adorable all day brunch spot on the water. Big menu with lots of tasty options and nice add-ons. Lovely laid back atmosphere and a super friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
n.
Was in last Sunday morning for breakfast. Fantastic service, Jay "The Stunner Runner" really made our day! Will be returning soon for the French toast.
C. P.
Always great food and coffee. Best savoury muffins in Perth- especially the Vegemite muffins. Great little spot with good food and warm blankets to keep you comfortable in winter.
A. O.
Beautiful location on the riverfront at Claisebrook Cove. Delicious menu with all day brunch and an AMAZING selection of juices. Try the Beach Bear (pineapple, apple, ginger, mint) and relax on a nice warm afternoon.
M. M.
Friendly staff lovely atmosphere
Ordered an Egg plant wrap looked good presented nicely on the plate unfortunately it was very oily
C. B.
Place is called toast, worst toast ever very hard, scrambeled eggs were average af and $21 for a big breakfast that was nothing special. I feel like this place charges for location over quality very nice view tho.
A. M.
Nice atmosphere and setting. Good food. Bit of a wait for food when it's busy.
M. I.
Great food reflected in the fact that it was very busy. Nice aspect looking over the Cove (something it shares with neighbouring cafes, so if it does happen to be 'full' there are next-door options to try)
A. S.
Toast is an awesome cafe- the usual suspects are always good and the unique menu is great, coffee is fantastic! Highly recommended and get there earlier - as by 9am it is quite the crowd!
J. L.
A bit tired. Not too many cakes left at 1pm. Brownie was good but served without fork or napkin. Coffee was good but it's hard to muck up a long black
M. P.
Beautiful location in Claisebrook Cove, on the deck views are superb, outside breakfast or just a quick (excellent) coffee, this is a great place. Find quite busy most weekend mornings so get there early!
W. B.
Always enjoy this place. All round god's service, good coffee and relaxed atmosphere.
A. G.
I love the quality of breakfast and coffee here. The place is so relaxed and warm atmosphere. I love going for a walk on Sunday Evening and grab my Mocca just before they close.
E. F.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. We will be back!
J. M.
Great location to relax with a coffee. To improve the atmosphere I think the owner/manager should give the staff some happy pills....
p. J.
Great views, great coffee, staff attentive and helpful....I will return!
R. K.
Love it! All day breakfast!
J. S.
Relaxed atmosphere, nice setting in the East Perth enclave. All day breakfast for the late risers. But expensive on the food but its always good.
T. O.
Only stopped for coffee. Food looked amazing at other tables. Nice ambience with views of the canal and water.
M. C.
Yummy food, lovely setting, thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
k.
great food friendly polite happy staff
great location in East Perth....a little treasure....
H. M.
Very tasty food, friendly staff! Thank you :)
H. 9.
Food was great massive portions, but the atmosphere and seating was a let down
K. B.
Excellent visual location in a nice area of East Perth. Consider leaving or arriving by a small electric ferry (Little Ferry Co.) which plies its way between Elizabeth Quay and Toast with several interim stops.
D. L.
Tables are scattered around the forecourt under umbrellas with the gorgeous Claisebrook Cove view. Slightly bohemian atmosphere (Melbourne people - think Brunswick St, Fitzroy), with decent food. Lunch was a pumpkin and Danish fetta focaccia. The brownie for dessert was served with real double cream!
A. E.
We enjoyed having our breakfast there. It's a family friendly place and the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly.
W. v. d. J.
The cpffee, the staff, the food is marvellous...
P. L.
Delicious food and an amazing view🤩🤩 perfect for a special occasion or just relax with a beautiful view
D. B.
Great ambience with the cove, good beer and "cocktails", okay but pricy food. Companion asked for chips, got french fries - very peed off, but who wouldn't be.
A. B.
Wonderful setting overlooking the water and super obliging service. Just feel the food lacks the wow factor but coffee is good.
E. B.
Great tasty breakfast would highly recommend Toast. Very helpfull staff..
R. R.
Nice coffee and great location. Cheap and a great stopover when walking you dog.
a. m.
Amazing gnocchi, great coffee.
R. L.
Been here many times and 4/5 times it delivers the goods. For something different try having a full breakfast in the evening with BYO wine. Fun stuff.
R. V.
Have been here twice for breakfast and don't really get the appeal of the place. The food is OK, the place is OK, the staff are good but generally very busy.
D. D.
Great for Sunday coffee
G. A.
Amazing location to have brekkie on weekends, loved the milkshake and authentic bruschetta.
T. H.
Great menu, superb location! Friendly staff..very busy. Definitely go again and also highly recommend.

I had breakfast, and it was OK. Although the best is the location of the restaurant, in the morning it is pretty busy and have a nice vibe. You might have to wait a little bit.

No pretense neighbourhood cafe, simple food. Open late which is handy. Not hipster/trendy at all. Some may like it, some may not. Staff are friendly.

Delicious food (I had corn fritters with avocado and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce) in a cosy, kitschy restaurant. Reasonably priced.

Really impressed. Am here in a day the sun is out and the eagles are playing nearby. This place is packed but they are so good here we are really enjoying ourselves. There is a great vibe, the staff are under the pump but are still really friendly and proffessional. We did not wait long for a table and the food came out in a reasonable time. We loved the vegie burger: definitely worth a try. The coffee was hot and i love how they serve the tea..classy. we cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much toast. You deserve the fantastic reputation that you already have in Perth.
