This is a lovely place for visitors and family. The environment surrounding the Zamia Cafe is already one of the best in Kings Park. The food here is always fresh and good. A great cafe for group gathering during the day and certainly an unforgettable park for a casual walk after the meal. I have to thank uncle Bernie deeply in my heart for bringing us here. What a beautiful and peaceful place just outside the cafe. Car parking bays are ticket free. Enjoy!

Awesome to be back here. It's been a while. Great service and delightful place for lunch. We both ordered the Nourish bowl and it's the best I've eaten. Fresh ingredients and a generous serving. All of the food looked equally delicious and prepared with love. Thanks for such a memorable visit.

Fantastic location with enough parking nearby. The coffee and the breakfast was quite good. Be sure to book ahead, especially on weekends as it gets quite busy. We saw heaps of people on Pokemon Go around so it must be a good spot for them. There is a decent playground area nearby and a huge grassed space for the kids to run around in.

What a fantastic spot to catch up with friends. I met for breakfast and thought there was a great selection in the menu. I went for a big breakfast which was a very generous serve. Everything was cooked perfectly. It’s pay at the counter and order. We had a great table looking over the adventure playground. Although I did try the cakes the looked delicious and are all made on site. The staff were lovely. Plenty of parking out front.

Such a lovely cafe serving some homemade treats. They make all their own cakes, muffins and scones in house. Overlooking the beautiful Kings Park while the birds sing what a fantastic location. Coffee and scone deal was amazing. The scone so fresh. The coffee is delicious. They do dine in inside or outside tables. They also offer takeaway. Next time I will have a meal here as they all looked so good. Very friendly staff that were attentive and wiped tables down quickly.

What an absolutely incredible location, if you're going to have a meal near Kings Park, make it this place! Service is friendly and quick, food is absolutely delicious and a very reasonable price. Make sure to stop here if you're looking for a great meal!

What I loved the most visiting here was watching and hearing the interactions between staff and sooo many regulars.. To me that is a sign of a very good cafe.. like a second home👍🏾.. I didn't eat any food.. Just had a cup of tea so can't really comment on that but it all looked delicious

We went to Zamia to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were able to make a booking which for lunch seems advisable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food all made on site including cakes was high standard. The setting in the botanical park brilliant and looks out over a small lake. Avoid this venue and it is your loss.

Have only had takeaway from here during the weekday at lunch, but can confirm the portions are generous and the meals are cheap (11 for chick n burger (real chicken), 15 for squid and chips). The service is fast (only waiting about 5mins for meals) and the coffee is decent. Staff are always polite and attentive

Zamia cafe is located in a beautiful spot within the stunning Kings Park. Over looks beautiful Parkland and native plants. Within a cafe there are lots of tables and chairs set up inside plus you have 2 outside seating areas. Both outside seating areas are located on a wooden decked patio on opposite sides of the cafe. Large range of cakes and sandwiches / rolls, plus a good selection of cakes. breakfasts until 11:30 then lunches from 11:30. Service is prompt, friendly with plenty of staff on hand. They also offer lactose-free milk for anyone that is lactose intolerant + soy and almond milk. The cafe can quiet quiet busy at times however they do offer to take bookings where you can reserve a table. Free parking close by within the King's Park area however at busy times you may need to walk just a little bit further than parking right outside the cafe. The prices are a little higher than some other cafes however you are paying the price I feel due to the locaton and the good service.

Zamia is in a beautiful location in the grounds of Kings Park. There is parking out front with 3 Disability Bays, but on a very busy day, you will have to park accross the road and fight for a spot with the families visiting the kids playground nearby. The day we went, the cafe was at capacity as we barely had enough room to move at our table so had to slide around to the end to allow people to squeeze by. The food was beautifully presented and service was very quick. My open steak burger was nice, but to be honest a bit on the average side. My wife had the Lobster and said hers was very average and would probably not order that dish again. The staff were very helpful and while we didn't actually have an issue with their service, they must have all been under the pump to serve a full restaurant, as a smile was not seen for the entire 2 hours we were there. To be fair to Zamia, we would like to go back on a less busy day, in case it was just a very stressed day for the staff with large numbers. But on the other hand, a great establishment can handle the pressure of a full capacity service, with no change to their food or service quality. A pleasant experience, but I would probably have to give it a second thought as my 1st choice in the future.

I visited Zamia Cafe on my last day in Perth today, visiting fron Adelaide, and a staff member noticed i was a photographer as i was charging my phone and looking through my photos whilst waiting for my delicious Beef Focaccia to arrive at my table. I didn't end up catching her name, however both her presence and her character were all too welcoming as we had a nice few chats about our common interests in Photography, all whilst she was serving other tables in the meantime. I found out that we were both from Adelaide, and i showed her a few photos i had taken around Kings Park Botanic Garden earlier that morning, and we had a short but great conversation about the floral aspects around the park. I went into the Cafe as a half way pit-stop for a 12km walk around the park, thinking i would just sit in silence as i am on a Solo holiday due to my partner not being able to make it, so it was very nice to have a waitress strike up that conversation, as it really lifted my mood and was a great experience in the Cafe being approached for a wonderful conversation. Food was delicious, great location for the Cafe, and great staff too, especially the one that approached me for the lovely chat. (:

Currently visiting Perth and have been to this cafe twice in the last few days. Beautiful location. Efficient staff. Very busy cafe. Lots of seating. Both times we’ve opted to sit outside which is lovely. Ample parking. Good cafe for persons with disabilities as there is option of steps and ramp. Food is nice and coffee is good. Meals are a bit pricey (fish, chips and salad $29) Good variety of foods and drinks.

One of the top quality cafe foods in perth you will experience. Coffee was at most average but matches with food. Juice was 100% fruit fresh squeezed unlike many cafes diluting with water or juice. Sweets, i wouldn't recommend. Service was decent. Overall, just by food itself worth a visit and will not disappoint. plus a nice view and sunlight.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. The view is stunning no matter where you sit, I chose outside and enjoyed the company of a Willy Wag Tail and Kookaburra. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Even one on lunch break would say cya to customers departing. I would recommend and look forward to returning soon. My only recommendation for room for improvement is that the tropical juice was more pureed watermelon. Not so much any other flavour.

Almost every weekend we visit there. We love the Chicken Burger they offer in their lunch menu. Also, their coffees are amazing 😉 But the milkshakes were not that up to. Food in good quality even though they are expensive. Last week it was around 10 am when we reached there. Therefore it was not the lunch time menu time. Anyway we asked them if they can make the chicken burgers for us. They quickly responded with a Yes which was so good of the staff. Staff is very helpful and very active. The location is good. But very busy cafe. There is a variety of dishes that you can choose in the menu. Even the muffins are really good. Hopefully we will continue being regulars ❤️

Not sure if it was the time of day or the venue, but as a 35 year old I was easily the youngest guest by a decade, and despite the playground outside, not a screaming child/baby in sight... Bonus.

Because it has little competition around? I'm not sure. There's also little to no GF options either. Anyway.. the coffee was lovely, Diamattina does great coffee. My breakfast on the other hand was bland and my poached eggs were overcooked. However, although I didn't try the cakes on offer or a fresh juice, they both looked very appealing.

A stunning cafe in the heart of King's Park. Great views and lovely ambiance. Huge selection of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea foods - but you pay the price for the location. The food is lovely - had a vegetable bowl today and it was divine. Spinach, Brown rice, quinoa, edamame, pumpkin, beetroot, hummus, and a tangy lemon dressing - exquisite and could convert the staunchest meat eater. Loses points for occasionally variable service. A must see!

This cafe offers the best of what you'd expect from a cafe within a public park. The serves are surprisingly large, the quality of food is better than average, the range is quite good. Other aspects of the establishment are satisfactory. The ambience is the attraction of course. Kings Park in Perth is magnificent and this cafe is best placed for children with an island playground, loads of interactive a tivities, open lawns and a large pond area.

Went to Zamias on Thursday it was almost full and reserved signs on empty tables. I asked the very busy Gentleman if they had any tables he immediately searched around found us a great table outside and advised us it was available for over an hour and hoped it was ok. This Cafe is located next to one of the Main kids playground areas Within Kings park. Wide menu with fast friendly service, you can dine in or outside with plenty of seating or take your food/coffee and enjoy it on the lawn.

Primary virtue is its location amongst the lovely parkland. Indoor and outdoor seating available, accommodating young children and dogs. Food is reasonable quality but expensive (Eggs Benedict - $21). Coffee is okay: not bad, not great. Extremely inefficient ordering system: only one person to take all food and drink orders and process payments for this large establishment - expect to wait in line for 10 minutes before placing an order. An adequate but overpriced cafe with a relaxed atmosphere that would not survive if it wasn't blessed by geography and a consequent lack of competition but is worth a look if you are already in that part of Kings Park and not lacking patience.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service given this cafe is large and it's at King's Park. I got a coffee and scone special (about $8 if I remember correctly) and the scone came with jam and cream and was yummmy! Coffee just fine. Views great over the May Drive park area. I'd like to try their brunch next time. Booking would be needed for that as we barely got a table at 11am on a Thursday for coffee.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Quite busy. Staff were friendly and the drinks and food were delivered to us surprisingly quickly. My cappuccino was nice. Pity there is no lactose free milk option though. The cakes we got were delicious and the chips were super hot and super fresh. Overall recommend this one over the other two near Fraser's as its usually less busy and in a much nicer location in the park.

Beautiful location and surrounds right near the lake and walkway to a little island with a playground on it! So, very green and tranquil in the middle of Kings Park. Excellent and extensive playgrounds around the lake complete with giant dinosaurs to climb on, wooden structures to walk up and on. And lots of picnic on the grass opportunities. Nice public toilets nearby across the lake. The cafe had nice food and atmosphere. A little pricey but it's tucked away and isolated. Very popular and large seating areas. King's Park where the cafe is located is now my favorite park every. We are living 5 minutes from it and just love walking along the stunning gardens. It's possible to reserve a table, or to take food and drinks out to the adjacent grassy area. It's adjacent to a play area with wooden sculptures of ancient megafauna that kids can climb on, and a lake with stromatolites and an island with metal sculptures of extinct plants.
