Very nice café with sea views. The service is real quick with friendly staff. There's a good choice of tea. The choice for breakfast isn't very large but gluten free option available for them all. Only scrambled and fried eggs for some reason.

My daughter and I hopped off the #sunsetcoastexplorer and decided to have something to eat. Zoie Cafe was the place we walked into. The place was buzzing with couples, families. We ordered a Zoie breakfast and a serve of waffles. We walked out very full. The gelato and food was delicious. Beautiful view of the beach.

Very friendly service. BEST spicy carrot 🥕 cake ever (sorry Dee 😢). Glass windows all round with great views of the beach. And they do ice-cream... It's a win win! 💕 ❤️

Beautiful location, amazing view and lovely staff. Iced lattes were nice and my son loved his ice cream. Unfortunately the food was what let Zoie down. The spicy chicken wrap was soggy and drowning in sauce and there wasn't much filling in it. The savoury muffin was inedible. It was dry, bitter and left an unpleasant aftertaste. It was so nice to sit there but we'd go somewhere else in Scarborough to eat next time.

Good variety of sweets and friendly staff but the coffee we got was SOOO HOT, nearly burnt. As a coffee person i would say that was way above the temperature range which i couldn't take it for nearly 5 min! In general, happy with Zoie cafe

Wonderful food and excellent drinks. We ordered 2 drinks and a roll, came out within 5 minutes. We were unknowingly overcharged and the lovely staff came out with a cash refund. Such amazing honesty and service!

BEST ham and cheese gluten free toasted sandwich! I have it every time I walk past their cafe! Awesome team, even checked the marshmallow ingredients to make sure I could have them with my hot chocolate💕

The food was okay, I ordered the scarb beach brekkie. Each individual item was good but the main problem was there was no sauce it was just plain items on their own and I had to build my toast it was quite dry because of the lack of sauce. If there was a nice hollandaise sauce over the eggs it would of been much better. Also there is only scrambled or fried, poached eggs are not on the menu. My girlfriend got the pancakes with iceream chocolate and strawberries and that was very good no complaints on that dish. Service was a little rude but very fast so I can't complain. If you love desert they are great, if you want savoury be weary.

My partner and I shared a scrumptious high tea and delicious coffee. Excellent service from management and all the staff. Highly recommended. Can't wait for our next visit so we can indulge in their very attractive vegan ice cream selection.

Now no longer part of the Cocolat franchise, this cafe sports the same friendly people and their delicious food! We had a delicious gluten free high tea recently and it was even better than before, with a great deal of interest and variety. Great communicators and as usual, a lovely setting! Thank you very much!

From the outside first impressions were good. Location is beautiful. However, when walking in we were quickly underwhelmed. Not one person gave eye contact or greeted us, considering we were the only couple to walk in at that time. A staff member even walked past us twice before we had to figure out on our own if it was table service or counter service. We found a table and then my husband needed to find the menus so we could order. Once ready he went up to the counter, but even that he found weird to find. Said it was a bit cluttered so didn't know where to go, to the point that a lady who walked in after him got served first. Our drinks came out, they do a good coffee so that was pretty great. Our food came out not long later, however the sourdough toast was burnt, the scrambled eggs just tasted like eggs with a lot of milk mixed in and the bacon was quite rubbery. Considering my husband ordered his to be crispy and mine were just normally cooked, we both got the rubbery outcome. My husband normally finishes his meal, yet he couldn't finish the eggs as they didn't taste that great. It is such a shame, as a location as good as this, the potential for the Cafe to bloom would be awesome. It was such a shame to just not be treated the way you would normally expect from a Cafe in such prime location. In a place like Scarborough, the vibe needs to be uplifting and vibrant. We just didn't experience that at all. Customers should be greeted at the door, the staff need to make sure that they are friendly to each customer, regardless of how they feel at that particular time. Customer service is key in hospitality and there needs to be a better service here. Sadly, because of this, I dont think we would return again, unless it was only for coffee or maybe an icecream. We don't go to the beach very often and thought it would have been great to try somewhere new.
