I purchased Eggs Benedict with salmon and a vanilla latte and was not disappointed in the quality of either. A very lovely cafe with nice decorum and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend as it’s just over the road from the train station and walking distance from most of the local hotels.

Blue 36 is one of my local cafes so it's the next one on my list to try. Blue 36 is situated ideally across the road from the blue st entrance of the North Sydney train station. This is handy as you can get one when you arrive or leave in North sydney if they're decent. The place is really nicely decorated inside and well laid out with plenty of seats. Water is self service refill of cups which is a little annoying as I prefer to have a jug rather than get up each time I finish my cup. There doesn't appear to be any seats outside. I ordered a large latte as I like to test cafes to see how long their foam last with the coffee that has the most of it. This is what I call the latte foam and art degradation test. As per my picture, it only lasted above the Midway line which is normally a failure in my books. The foam for a latte should survive until 2/3 minimum to pass. Coffees where the foam disappears early makes for a more unpleasant experience. Even the latte was a little messy and sloppily done, not really resembling anything. The second time had better initial impression though the foam still did reach beyond the halfway line. Overall I gave it a 3 instead of a 2 because I know they can do better and they should. The foam and latte issue can be easily resolved doing a YouTube tutorial on how to ensure that foam/art does not dissipate quickly. Another suggestion is to bring a jug of water at the same time as the coffee. Once these are done, 5/5 will be given! Second time coffee was still not up to scratch so I'll be leaving it at 3/5 for the foreseeable future as I probably won't be back for a long time.

I come here evey morning before work and I am greeted with a friendly smile all the time. The staff are always polite and take that extra step to satisfy the customer The tea here is the best in sydney and the prices are more then fair The food is amazing and can not be compared to any other Cafe in Sydney Compliments to the chef and staff here , they are outstanding and ensure the best is presented all of the time, everytime .

Decent breakfast- we tried the soft pumpkin and the chorizo scramble. Both were well executed. The service was very quick and friendly. The cafe is opposite north Sydney station so convenient for that and the back opens into the shopping centre.

I cannot rave about the burger I had here enough. It was the Wagyu beef burger and it was out of this world. I'm a big fan of a burger and have had more than my fair share of burgers in my day but I think this is the best burger I have ever had. It was juicy and flavorful, but not too greasy. The bun was perfect, the lettuce crisp and cool. This burger was incredible! The real kicker, though, it was only 16 AUD. I've spent more and got less! Do yourself a favor and buy this burger. Then buy another and send it to me.

A great place to come for lunch. A wide ranging menu where the only difficulty is deciding what to get. I landed on the BBQ chicken wrap which was excellent. I'll be back to try out some other dishes, including the great value specials.

This picture was about 6 months ago so please don’t prefer to it because they may or may not change the menu. However my experience there was excellent. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the omelette was just a delight! Not really a fan of the orange mocha cause it didn’t really have an orange nor coffee flavour, but the pink drink was beautiful. Staffs were really nice and friendly. Personally i’m not a fan of taro but that taro ice cream was very yummy. Most definitely recommend.

I come down from Brisbane every month and call in here often to wait for my son, who works across the road, to knock off at 6am and then we have a really great coffee and mocha and a tasty breakfast, sometimes Acai Bowl sometimes bacon and eggs and hash brown.
