Fabulous food and service! I've always enjoyed coming here. This little Gem was delightful! If you're ever in Bonny Hills do yourself a favour!

Well let’s say the place wins because of the people not the food. We got the free bus that was amazing, the guy was local and very friendly He picked us up and drop back after drinks and dinner We ordered the T-bone steak and the scotch fillet. Both were super extra raw and kind of old tasty meat. I know the covid it’s not helping much the local pub and stock that was unfortunately as the waitress and everyone on the pub were very nice. Also the prices were little bit more expensive than the online menu but the menu still the same. At that day they didn’t have much outside of the menu like a special of the day or so. Nice atmosphere outside if I was there just for drinks I would give 5* but the food need a huge improvement :/ Loads of cutie birds outside :)

Friendly staff. My husband's pork ribs were very nice my scotch steak was very tough especially as I paid $33. We requested both meals not be placed on top of the chips but alas they were. The guy that delivered them to the table also took the order and when it was pointed out to him he could have cared less. We will give the place another go however.

This pub has a community feel, has kept both it's pool tables, and even has a pool comp which maybe the only one on the Mid North Coast atm. Normally food served here is scrumptious at least the barramundi plate I had was. Unfortunately on the night we ate there my friend who is normally ecstatic over his pizza was less than the impressed and so 4 stars which is still the highest review I have given a business🥳

Nice playground for the kids while the parents can sit back and relax with a drink. Food was okay but cheap. The beer was cold though. We mentioned about getting dessert when we ordered the mains at 6:30pm then when we asked again at 7:34pm we were told dessert couldn't be served as the burners were off at 7:30pm. It didn't go down well when I explained to my wife that she could do without dessert for the night (waist considered). Bonny Hills may have caused my life savings to go towards couples therapy or a divorce lawyer - yet to find out... Please just serve the cake :)

Average meal. Great asset with the courtesy bus. Felt a bit intimidated walking in. We walked in through the bar and literally everyone, 10 -15 people, stopped talking and looked at us. Probably a personal reaction, but I felt intimidated and uncomfortable for our entire visit.

Usually noisy & busy with patrons, we visited the hotel on a Tuesday night & was pleasantly surprised with the quality of our meals and an almost ‘ambient’ atmosphere. My partner had a generous chicken breast schnitzel with plenty of fresh vegetables while I enjoyed a home cooked beef pie with bountiful garden peas and the most delicious sweet potato chips. The quality of meals and the service understandably declined through the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 but I am glad to say the dining room is back on track! Well done Chef!

I live approx 30ks away and come here regularly because of the friendly atmosphere, from the 2 guys running it to the bar staff and all in the kitchen. Our party of 9 had a good time on the weekend. Although the food was a little disappointing. Mine was advertised as marinated lamb but was actually mutton and as soon as it was put in front of me I could smell that I wouldn't be able to eat it, I managed one cutlet and it was very tough and over cooked. Disappointing for a $30 meal.

It doesn't seem to matter what kind of meal you're after; be it a chicken parma, rump or a pizza, it's all very nice and filling. There are various seating options both inside and out and it caters for both large and small groups. It's also family friendly with a small playground for younger kids outside. Make sure to try the chicken bbq pizza, it's great.

Great super friendly staff from the bar staff to the wait staff. Nothing is to much a problem for them. Generally a good selection from the menu, not the largest menu but does have something for everyone. Our food was served a bit on the warm side and could do with a bit more warmth but was an enjoyable meal. Has a small outdoor play area for the kids. Would return of in the area in the future and while it was the only pub on the area it was well worth the visit. Again thumbs up to the great staff.

Nice staff and good facilities in a peaceful location alongside creek. Tent camp sites were very soggy due to weeks of rain, but nice level big spots. Beware in wet season it's possible for roads out to flood. Fire wood sold on-site was too damp to stay alight, likely no issues at other times. No breeze was a plus in the wet, my visit was unpleasantly weather affected. 4 stars otherwise

Welcoming friendly hotel. There is a bar and a restaurant area. Fantastic seafood. Casual relaxed dining indoors, or outdoors beside the native fauna and bird life. It is a good place to even take the young family to dine. Dont be surprised if a native bird flys out of a tree to dine at your table too. Within walking distance from the Bonny Hills Camp complex that is located on the beach front.
