Comments of Bourke Street Bakery Alexandria

Came here for late lunch. There were only 3 pies on display and I asked if there are any meat pies. The guy at the counter replied that they only had vege curry pies. So I ordered two crossiants and a mixed berry muffin. We sat down to eat and less than 5 mins later, the same guy at the counter brought out a whole tray full of fresh pies! When I asked him if they had any meat pies, why didn't he mention to us they had meat pies in the oven and they would be out in a few mins?? I went back to the counter and purchased one beef pie (would have purchased two meat pies but we already ordered three items minutes earlier). Am disappointed in the customer service from the the guy who served us as he could have told us they had some coming out soon and I would have ordered differently. The food was good. Hot beef pie was the best item out of what I ate.

Absolutely the best pies and croissants. It's a Sydney classic for a reason. Their tarts are a must eat in Sydney!!
T. L. P.
One of the best places in Sydney. Definitely try the pear vanilla iced tea ! Very refreshing. The toasted beef sandwich is a total winner too. Great coffee!! Amazing service.
O. Y.
Great little bakery that is open at 7:00 am when you are still jet lagged from your flight. The coffee here is exceptional! They have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice. We ordered a quiche with mushrooms and spinach and a sandwich with broccoli and grillled cheese and both were delicious! Definitely highly recommended.

Bourke Street Bakery is a Sydney institution. It’s been around for a while and always delivers.
Everything is made fresh onsite and the quality is never disappoints. Their pies, sausage rolls and breads are outstanding. The croissants are also really good, big and fluffy and flaky.
Venue is covid safe, there is no seating available inside now due to restrictions.
Limited customer parking out the back, I just recently discovered this as street parking can be difficult.
Try the beef pie and the lamb harissa sausage roll, they are so good. The olive bread is also a winner.
A. C.
Food and coffee great!
Usually service is good too. However, never been served by this staff member before, hopefully it wont be a regular occurence because she obviously doesn't understand the concept of treating people in a polite manner.
Its quite obviously an honest mistake that you switched the signs around on the muffins. But when a customer repeats that they want a particular one because you pick up what looks to be the wrong one due to the incorrect signage... Don't raise your voice at them and say "the signs are in the wrong place, this is the berry one, so which one do you want". I don't really see how that is my fault for not knowing which muffin youre picking up, I dont work there, you do. And if you know they are in the wrong place.... move them into the right place.
There's 2 coffee shops on my way to work, I'll be dodging this one for a bit because the staff at the other one don't try to treat you like your dumb.
Blonde long hair, green shorts, grey top. Sort your manners.

Bourke Street Bakery has really delicious pies, sausage rolls and pastries. It’s the perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They will even make you a fresh sandwich and tea or coffee. Everything is really delicious. It’s not a big place so seating is often difficult to find.
R. C.
The pies here are my favourite, I've had the beef, the brisket and the chicken pie. The brisket is my favourite, the chicken is next - and the clincher is the house made tomato sauce for an extra 20c, it is simply amazing. The pie is a good sized portion (for me, at least) for a hearty breakfast, or even lunch I presume.
I've tried a couple of other things here but I always go back for the pie. I also mix it up once in a while with the croissant with ricotta and jam. As for their coffee, I am not a fan. To me it always tastes burnt, which overpowers any other notes of the coffee. Unless I'm super sleepy and forgetful, I just stick to the food.
Service is quite efficient, though sometimes lacking the smile that you expect of staff. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and I've never not found a seat, though I've never been there for the lunch rush.
S. T.
I loved the beef pie but it's not for everyone. Pork and fennel sausage roll is 10/10 and highly addictive. The pastry is simply stunning. Lamb sausage roll is good but not as good. Would highly recommend visiting if you can. A must try for meat pie or sausage roll lovers. Next time I will try something sweet. I will surely be back.

Most likely the best cafe in Sydney, but definitely my favourite cafe!
Their ginger creek brûlée tart is to die for, the perfect balance of sweetness, spicy and crunchy crust. The Rembrandt is a limited edition tart that's very similar to the ginger creme brûlée minus the ginger taste, but very tasty as well.
Ice coffee is very milky & creamy, while the latte is rich in coffee fragrance and not bitter at all!
R. T.
Perfect pies, sensational sausage rolls, beautiful bread & incredible coffee. It’s fabulous food, there’s isn’t a single thing in the store that isn’t delicious 👌🏻
D. Y.
Prices may seem expensive but good value for money. Fresh, imaginative and great tasting food. Highly recommended to at least try it out. Specialties are their sandwiches and pastry pies and sausage rolls. :) Enjoy.
M. J.
Great bakery with delicious bread! The sandwiches, toast and pastries are amazing but a must-have for me is the sausage rolls, they are so good! Coffee is always on point as expected.
W. N.
Nice little bakery at the corner of busy roads of Alexandria/Mascot has brought joy and nice bakeries to this neighbourhood. It’s a small little rustic cafe, which feels like you can calm down a little.
Nice and efficient customer services, and decent coffee and rolls. What more do I need need from
Them?
Would be nice to have more seats but that might kill the ambient though. Stay classy!
K. H.
It's always one of my top list bakery. The new Rembrandt cake is amazing. The ginger tart is a must try if you are first time here. Their coffee is great too.
F. W.
The red wine, beef, mushroom pie is amazingly good. Pie is thin and crispy, food ingredient is fresh and high quality, final product is juicy....People are nice and friendly. Environment is clean and quiet inside with a touch of their own taste of music collections. Outside u have some parkings or can grab and go. I tired 3 kind of pies and 1 lamb roll, still think the red wine beef mushroom pie is best. Mocha is delicious and long black is good too.
K. C.
Best bread loaves, iconic sausage rolls and great coffee! Also fun to grab a quick lunch or Brekkie from their daily menus.
S. Y.
Pretty much similar to the one in Surry Hills, but much less crowded. They have all the usual favourites like the Sausage rolls and ginger creme brulee. Definitely recommend it, and will be back!
D. L. J.
Not fancy and flashy, it's relatively simple, great food and coffee but more importantly, it's CONSISTENTLY good food and coffee. Love the chocolate tarts too!
C. S.
This place needs no introduction, as Sydneysiders will be familiar with the name. Their sausage rolls are heavenly, and of course their desserts are legendary. I've shared a photo of their carrot cake. Moist, not dry like most tend to be
R. W.
Great bread and baked goods. Unfortunately nowhere to sit and enjoy them. Need to bring back at least the outdoor seats.
R. X.
Friendly staff, great coffee and decent sandwich. Chicken sandwich was delicious, interesting choice of the sweet pickles
S. T.
Food is good. But service is terrible. Guys at least a small smile won’t hurt anyone.
J. L.
Hard to find parking here, but overall its Goood
M. F.
One of the best sushi trains in Sydney.. you'll be impressed
B. L.
Great coffee + great sausage roll = happy customer!!
K. S.
These guys are legends! Starting with great bakers who make hands down best bread, fantastic pies, sausage rolls and sweet pastries (could have more seasonal variety though). Then comes great service, always smiling, brewing fine coffee and will even offer you a free bread with bigger purchase late in the afternoon, so that nothing goes to waste! Thanks a million for being there for the hungry Sydneysiders!
B. C.
Tried beef pie and the chocolate raspberry muffin . Like the tender beef in the pie and the sauce that come with. Nice staff and good service. Easy to find a street parking.
T. W.
Pies are quite nice, sweets are good, but the coffee is horrific.
A. W.
Hi to me locals who work or live near my place because this is our around the corner Cafe/baker. Of course the crew changes from time to time and male or female there's always some beautiful works. Straight to the point but I've enjoyed nearly everything I've chosen to have. On the one or two times I didn't enjoy what I was given i Politely gave my feedback and because the crew have always been real good hearted people not Zombies it turns into a nice conversation and im made to feel welcomed. So of course I return again again and again. Pretty much now its been over 10 years I've been enjoying this little gem.
D. V.
Surprisingly friendly people here, so happy to stop by for quick breakfast. Recommended
H. J.
The place to go and blow $25 government vouchers on a pre workout carb up and caffiene hit
J. N.
The pork sausage roll was nice and I liked the iced coffee that comes in the plastic bottles, although they're too small for the price you pay. You're left wanting more.
The croissant I had was very dry and hard to eat. Although it looked nice from the outside, it was very ordinary.
S. L.
Great coffee. We've been here multiple times. Food selection is limited particularly on weekends, but the staff are lovely and the shop takes social distancing seriously; currently the policy is take-away only and customers waiting for orders have to stand outside (max. 3 customers in the store). Very impressed.
J.
Not bad, not great either. Not worth making a special trip there.
M.
Good coffee and service. Had a pork sausage roll and a beef pie, they were both good, need to go back and try their sandwiches and burgers. Seating is a bit complicated as the place is small, there are tables outside if you prefer the fresh air. Parking is easy at the street and surroundings.
K.
Love the carrot cake! So moist and soft
E.
Great food, pastries and many different types of bread. Always happy with all aspects of Bourke St. Bakery at Alexandria. You can order ahead, which is terrific. Staff are lovely.
L.
great line up of breads!! cozy vibesゆ
S. M.
The chocolate raspberry muffin was DELICIOUS! Convenient free street parking and sensationally smooth coffee. Great service and relaxed environment. Breads and pastries are super fresh. I've got my loyalty card and definitely coming back again!
T. B.
The best dark chocolate and raspberry muffin in Sydney!
J. B.
Had the lamb sausage roll and chocolate tart and they were both 10/10. I could have eaten 10 more tarts they were amazing. The place is quite small and busy but the food is absolutely worth going here.
S. D.
The bakery was clean and hygiene is well maintained. My order was ready to pick 30 mins before the scheduled time. Friendly staff and the cake was lovely that I'd ordered. Overall I'm pretty happy with my experience.
V. L. C.
My go to place on a lazy Sunday when all you need is a quick bite and a pick me up cuppa. My best recommendation are their famous pork and fennel roll, chicken sandwich and amazing variety of pastries. Freshly baked bread are available daily displayed next to the entrance and don't forget to grab their ice cold coffee too.
f.
Pies and sausage rolls are okay but the seating is limited and on a main road. There was a smell of sewerage wafting over the outdoor seating.
A. M.
It's good but not amazing. There's outdoor seating, but you're right on Gardeners Road, so it's not that pleasant to be outside (unlike the namesake branch). Inside is as busy as you'd expect of a popular bakery. I had savoury pastries. They were decent though not rave worthy.
S. G.
What's not to love about this place?
1. Fast, friendly service
2. Delicious pastries including perfect croissants and pork and fennel sausage rolls
3. And that feeling when you snag a seat to eat and the cafe's hustle and bustle just hums around you while you drink your latte.
M. K.
Simply the best coffee and pastry in the area.
P. M.
They make a great coffee here and the breads are excellent but I think the dine in options can sometimes miss the mark. I have had a couple of dry sausage rolls and a pretty ordinary cheesecake. For a quick take away it's great but if I want to dine in I would head round the corner to Sonoma
m.
A friend told me that the Lemon Curd Tart at Bourke Street Bakery is the best she's ever had and that I have to try it. So, I entered the Bakery and I must say that the desserts weren't looking like what I expected. In a nice way, I should say that their pastries had a rustic feel to them.
The pastries were not displayed in a pretty manner and each tart/pastry were kinda roughly made. You can totally tell that these are handmade and that aesthetics was not a focus. I probably expected or maybe hoped that they looked prettier and more appetising because, if not for my friend, I would have walked out of the bakery without buying anything.
For the taste, the lemon curd is pretty smooth and light with a good level of tartness which was not too acidic to the palate. The tart shell is to me, average at best and despite its uneven thickness, it's well baked. I will probably eat this again if I am in the neighbourhood. But will I come here specially for this? Probably not.
I do want to try the pork and fennel roll next time though. I heard rave reviews about it too.
H. L.
Delicious ham and cheese croissant toasted, and great pork and fennel sausage roll.
They let us know it was a 10 minute wait on coffee which is nice
Olive and rosemary flatbread is delicious too!
M. N.
Lovely little bakery that serves amazing sweets, pastries and bread. The ginger creme brulee was my favourite and I would get that everything I visit Bourke Street. They do have a good range of bread available and the sourdough is really good
J. M.
Love this place. Have been coming here for years, almost since inception. Fantastic pastry's, sourdough breads, sausage rolls and pies. The coffee is great too. Service always with a smile and it's never too busy for service. Only downside is it's with a busy industrial area and a main thoroughfare. Worth a visit of you're in the area. Another one opening in Balmain soon
R. H.
The lamb sausage rolls here may be the cure for any ailment you have. Throw in a large cold brew coffee with oat milk and you got yourself a good week. Thank me later
S.
Great service, has a spacious room and has an outdoor seatings! Good nice stuffs to try. In a great location and space for parking 🅿️ 👍
N. M.
Nice bakery quite small not alot if seating no disabled or pram access so you would need to sit outside which may not be great if you have baby.
Other than that very friendly staff quick service. The sausage rolls are amazing definately recommend you try one.
B. L.
It's really good, great bread and pastries, and I go here often. The down sides are, the location is very small and noisy and hard to access on foot, it is generally very busy, and you do pay a premium for what you get. It's not the most expensive bakery but it's not fantastic value either.
Go at least a few times, there is a lot that's worth trying.
B. C.
It's only a small bakery but has what is needed.
A. S.
Another really funky café with awesome food! We tried the quiche, sausage roll and beef pie.. wow! So so fresh and tasty! The quality of the meat in the beef pie was so tender and juicy opposed to your traditional chewy beef!! As for the pastry it was so crispy and crunchy with so much flavour! Again very limited on seating on the inside so get in early or be prepared to grab takeaway and go home to hit up a feast!!! Staff were really friendly, lots of street parking and the prices were very reasonable. Good loaves of bread also!!
a. w.
Some of the best pies Sydney.
Brisket pie is my favourite.
A very close second is the Pork and Fennel Sausage Roll.
J.
The short hair Baristas lady always makes the best coffee everytime and never miss, right coffee temperature and smooth espresso. Pies and sausage rolls are good. Pastries and breads are better than average.
R. S.
Had some sausage roll and pies here, coffee not bad, but I like their ginger crème brulee most, the sweet potatoes chicken pie also a good choice. The staff here really helpful and polite. Their pain au raisin have plenty of raisin in it. I like the tall glass door matching with the wide glass window, a few tables inside and there's some outdoor seats as well.
C. T.
The best tasting sausage rolls!! Coffee is great too!! And the team there are very helpful and happy!!
M. C.
Artisan breads, delicious pies, great coffees. I love stopping off for lunch. Service is fast. Try the chicken, sweet potato, pea and lime pie. It's so good it's probably illegal.
R. H.
The ginger brulee and chocolate-raspberry tart are each the best item in their class that I've had, anywhere. This place is so good it's worth driving to just to visit without having anything else to do.
S. Z.
Great food, minimalist interior, terrible parking. Worth the effort for the bottled iced coffee and ginger creme brulee tarts. Indoor seating is limited, outdoor seating in full sun and next to a busy road. Does takeaway.
T. S.
I often ride to Bourke Street Bakery for lunch from my work place. It is worth the 15 minute ride! The bakery is often packed so it pays to get in early if you wish to secure a seat. The service is friendly and there is a wide variety of pies and sausage rolls available. I would recommend the pies, they taste really delicious. I often eat the chicken and mushroom pie. I also would recommend trying some of the pastry muffins on offer. They are particularly nice. Worth the visit!
K. K.
Ok food; really could use some better ingredients such as avocado / salmon etc....coffee is great and a nice friendly / quiet atmosphere (on a weekday around 10am). I suggest the owner take some inspiration from Sunday in London - another lovely local restaurant but really amazing food.
R. M.
Excellent sandwiches and coffee. Highly recommended!
P. M.
Great coffee, friendly staff.
Food was ok nothing special but worth eating there if you close by.
C. G.
Good sausage rolls, plenty of other options as well
f. b.
I visited the store, and bought the cook book, I think its one of these Cafe that you have to visit and judge for yourself.
My 2 cents.
Must tries:
sourdough,
croissant
Chocolate & Raspberry Muffin.
I was disappointed with the Beef Brisket, Red Wine & Mushroom Pie though. it tasted like average supermarket pies :(
C. W.
The croissants are so flaky and soft with just a bit of crunch. They couldnt be any more perfect. The coffee is good, and definitely take one of their loaves of sourdough home!
D. C.
Being from interstate I was highly recommended to go and eat at Bourke St bakery and this one was the closest to where I was staying. Food was great and could not fault it, but was served by an unenthused, disinterested and borderline rude staff. I felt I was more of a hinderance to her; no hello or thank you which is the least you can provide to a customer. Not sure whether I would want to come back or recommend this place because of this experience. Disappointing.
S. B.
Finally decided to try this place. Small interior, quite a few people inside, bought lemon curd tart, choc and raspberry tart and sourdough loaf. Well worth the visit the food was delicious and definitely worth another visit. Only problem is parking, there are limited spaces, they should think of a few time restriction spots for their customers....
K. K.
I love coming here for my weekend breakfast. My kids always insist on the chocolate tarts. They stopped making the chorizo rolls but there is a great choice of baked goods.
J. D.
Can't go past the famous pork & fennel sausage roll, or my fave the lamb & harissa... I had a friend gulp down the ginger brulee tarts, despite not even normally liking ginger! This site had lots of parking around, and was easy to get to - just making sure you don't miss a turn as Gardeners road does get quite busy. Recommend the flourless choc cake... so fluffy and rich!
C. B.
A closer-to-home version of the Surry Hills bakery. Not quite as good for Sunday brunch due to the funnily organised seating area. In saying, it's worth the trouble.
The pies are notoriously good; brisket was today's choice... just what my Sunday morning called for! There's also a great selection of sourdough and other delicious-looking baked goods.
Definitely worth traversing the crazed seating and waiting in queue!
J. L.
Good to purchase bakery produces but not to eat in. Always expect a queue at busy hours so if u are in a rush, you may not be able to get anything. Friendly staff onsite would help you choose what to have if you tell them the occasion / your preference.
B.
My wife took me, nice baked goods seating can get busy.
L. K.
Best hot chocolate made with Belgium chocolate I've ever tasted. Try delicious real lamb sausage rolls for a treat or rhubarb pastry for something completely different.
D. O.
We used to be locals of this area, since then we go there every weekend to have breakfast/brunch. Tasty veggie sausage rolls, awesome coffee. Addictive :)
B. D.
The younger sibling of the original Bourke St bakery in Surry Hills, this little bakery is a great addition to this area. Known for amazing breads and pastries the original Bourke street bakery has a cult following of regulars who queue rain, hail or shine for its tasty sourdoughs and delectable little baked treats.
My mission on this stiflingly hot summers day was to retrieve pastries for a meeting I was attending at the nearby industrial area of Mascot. As I was wanting to impress my fellow meeting attendees, Bourke Street Bakery was the prefect stopover en route.
Parking is a bit of a pain point, with nothing close by on our first approach. We decided to traverse the block one more time hoping that a sacred park will come available. As it did not, I was dropped at the front door and picked up on the way around again.
The bakery is small with a few tables and chairs. Im not sure whether they had air conditioning inside the store, but if they did it was unable to keep the heat of the day out with temperatures to melting levels inside.
I quickly bought my lemon and chocolate tarts and bid a fond adieu before jumping back into the comfort of our AC'd vehicle. The food here is good. Really good so I bought the cookbook "Bourke street Bakery". Keep up the good work guys!
C. S.
Great place to come to for bruch, has the best pies in town.
Always a crowd in the front but waiting is never too long and the staff are efficient, patient and friendly.
Will need a car to get here as it is rather out of the way, but well worth a trip.
Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
J. S. A.
The only difference between this Bourke Street and the original is seating - this one has slightly more of it. The high standard of food and coffee are consistent, and the bread is the same - the best around, that is. Pick either depending on which is easier to get to.

I really liked this place. Was quaint and had excellent service with ample staff for how much they were.
I enjoyed a brisket Pie and a long black this morning. I would have to say this is the second best pie I've had in my life.
H. A.
Coffee lacked body, chocolate croissant was a bit soggy and didn’t have a lot of chocolate, muffins were nice though. Disappointing that the iced chocolate was in small plastic bottles premade. Very busy and claustrophobic.
All in all, a mediocre experience.
J. P.
Smells amazing as you walk past. The chocolate raspberry tart was mind blowing to say the least. Their vege roll was alright, wouldn't order again. Pizza is amazing.
A. O.
Always good experience at any one of their cafes
J. W.
Great pies and sausage pies. Will try other products too next time. Definitely will come back. And they also have iced coffee !!
R. K.
Pear and Rhubarb muffin absolutely awesome.
The coffee is very average.
I managed to get a great parking spot out the back, so very happy with that :)
B. D.
very yummy sausage rolls and good coffee.
parking can be a little difficult to find during the day though.
E. T.
Terrific execution of the Bourke Street tradition. Great coffee, sourdough, pastries, pies, muffins and cakes. Also must try the sausage rolls. ♥️👍👍👍
B. J.
Disappointed by the pies here. Luke warm and not really fresh. Soggy pastry. Also the the place is old and run down. The store at Marrickville is much better.
G. E.
Absolutely amazing food, best pastries in Sydney! Very short staffed on weekends, be willing to wallow in the remnants of customers past if you want a table
J. T.
The staff at 2pm on the 1st February were absolutely wonderful! They were so nice and helpful and I hope this is recognised by the manager.
A. W. (.
What a great place. I love the bread and the yummy Lamb and Fennel sausage rolls. The selection of tarts are really good and just like the other stores, super busy!
A. P.
Very yummy sausage rolls, good coffee and tasty muffins. There are other yummies, but that's all I had. Enjoyable.
E. B.
Croissants to die for, the pie are a must try, reasonable pricing and the coffee is consistently good. If you in the area its a safe bet for a feed and some caffenation!
M. L.
I try to make this my daily coffee stop before work... They make a great song piccolo with chocolate on top... And anything pastry is always great. Recommend chocolate tart
J. S.
Usually very good, today however biting into a $4.50 muffin to discover it was stale and at least a day old was disappointing. Not the quality product you usually get here.
B. W.
Bourke Street Bakery comes to Newtown. The food and pastry is just what you'd expect. Sadly the place itself is nothing special. Would recommend either the Surry Hills original or the other branches in Alexandria and Marrickville instead.
M. N.
What's not to love about delicious pies and sausage rolls? Relaxed atmosphere, interesting flavours, excellent pastries and sweets. Love coming here.
A. F.
Delicious food and coffee , friendly staff
C. V.
The croissant and the. Pies are absolutely amazing you can have two always when i go great coffee and amazing atmosphere service is good always fresh food highly quality
T. f. M.
Nice bread, a bit overpriced but a lot of choice and friendly!
J.
The original started in Bourke Street Surry Hill, which always has a line up. They are just that good!
A. M.
Always fresh sandwiches, great friendly staff good coffee and sweets... what more can you ask for. 5 stars!
I. A.
The coffee is great and awesome the service is wonderful the food is amazing and fresh the location is difficult a bit but other then that everything is excellent well done great job 👍
S. A.
Fantastic corner Cafe/Bakery. Great coffee and variety of bread, pastrys, pies and sandwiches. Consistently fabulous.
R. L.
Best sausage rolls ever.Pork and fennel a must have.other great foods, pies and their sour dough bread is awesome
S. R.
Always good. Great fun. Just so consistent no matter which one you go to.
M. Q.
Can get quite popular but the food is absolutely delicious. Did not realise how much I loved Fennel until I tried the Pork and Fennel Sausage Roll.
E. A.
Bread is delicious. The pork fennel sausage rolls are my favorite followed by the beef & mushroom pie.
R. T.
The best meat pies I've ever had, nice buttery pastry! Always busy which is a good sign too.
J. P.
Fantastic sausage rolls. Also recommended the ginger brule!
M. L.
Has own parking which is good. Interesting cold drinks. Great service but maybe I have unsophisticated tastebuds because it was just okay, nothing special for the cost.
T. F.
Such a great bakery! Love their fresh bread and their lamb sausage rolls are to die for!
K. A.
Always the tastiest bread and great coffee. Staff are great too.
S. S.
Gr8 pies, variety sausage rolls and good coffee.
One of my favourites when in the area for job.
Sparky Steve
Eastern Suburbs Electrician.
S. O.
The coffee is good and the passion fruit tarts are really nice. The chocolate berry muffins are also really worth a try
J. C.
Love Bourke street bakery, my go to for all things sausage rolls and pies, also there baking book is great always making Sourdough
S. P.

Our go to place on Sundays. Good coffee. Efficient, pleasant service. And of course a great selection of baked items.
T. T.
this is probably one of the best cafe in Alexandria!!! You will find yourself queueing most of the time here for coffee. I would totally recommend the chocolate tart!!!! forget diet!!!!

Z. M.
second bsb, this one has all the original charm without the Surry hills hipster vibe! Service is always quick. But parking is a nightmare, so come with a friend!
T. L.
A little gem hidden within Mascot, this is the “‘Bourke Street Bakery’ on Gardeners Road”. They have managed to bring a piece of Surry Hills into a fairly industrial region of South Sydney, it is a cosy bakery that you go either go for food or morning break.
The queue can get quite long and the seating around can be very unorganised during peak time.
B. C.
Great cafe in Alexandria right near the airport on Gardeners Road. Highlights include the pies and epic sausage rolls.
