Comments of Cafe Cre Asion
A. L.
Best Japanese matcha and dessert place in Sydney. Cakes are not overly sweet and drinks are nice too. I’ve been here many times during the past few years, and every visit was enjoyable. Highly recommended.
M. K.
The best muffin in Australia is here!
The taste is real Japanese taste.
It is located in not a convenient place, but worth visiting!!
G. L.
The best hojicha latte in Sydney, must try if you are s tea lover! We ordered the matcha chiffon cake too, it was absolutely delicious!
C. C.
I am so happy to find the shop that the hojicha Swiss cake is not too sweet and the genmaicha latte is good flavor. It seems that I arrive to Kyoto in a moment.
Y. M.
It's a nice cafe if the staff is more friendly...
JP staff was unkind and unfriendly unfortunately.
Matcha Latte and roll cake were very very nice.
E. L.
Hoji tea and matcha green tea latte was good! Great place with great vibe! Friendly staff! Love it x

Best Matcha place in town! We had a matcha picnic in Hyde park lol
ナ.
The best matcha latter I've ever had - not sweet (!), well-balanced and with the most suitable type of milk that doesn't ruin the delicate taste of matcha. The barista was very helpful and knowledgeable. Outstanding experience. Cannot wait to be back.
M.
This place is my number 1 “specialized Matcha café” it’s small but so cute! I have been here 3 times already 💚
The matcha tart was amazing! Soft, smooth and the bitterness and sweetness as I bite the tart was so heavenly! No joke! It was so damn good I will go back again soon!
The customer service was exceptional 🔥 The matcha latte was so creamy amazingly delicious!
During the COVID-19 crisis, they have now removed the seating for the customers! But it’s part of their COVID-19 safe practice which I am so proud of! They care about their customers wellbeing 💚
K. Y.
Matcha desserts! Yummy hoji cha latte. Small place with few seating. Small menu but they do it well. The lava cake and ice cream were delicious.
A.
Matcha lovers heaven!!
One of my fave cafe in Sydney, serving up freshly baked pastries, desserts, coffee, matcha and cafe dishes.
But I'm only here for the matcha goods, matcha fondant and matcha tart is a must order if you visit, they are the OG dishes that every matcha lover will love.

Customer service is beyond exceptional here.
Coffee is always perfect and you cannot leave without trying one of the muffins.
They are some of the best that i have ever had !
T.
I had the chocolate matcha lava cake with matcha ice cream. It doesn't look like much but damn it tasted good. You can tell they are using high quality matcha. The chocolate cake was rich and warm. Perfect size.
It's a tiny cafe with maybe 6 seats so don't exoect to be dining in. I came in an off peak time so i was okay. There's a refined selection of treats. It's classy to do a few things really well.
Definitely worth visiting and revisiting.
A. D. L.
Loveliest staff and such a cute secret store location, I love it. The matcha there tastes really fresh and delicious. Catch ups and lunch breaks are well suited for this small cafe. Simple yet creative. A little pricey and also hard to get a seat on busy peak times, but overall, I personally love this classic matcha cafe in the city!
P. P. (.
LOVED IT!!!! The shop is super small however, the people are really nice (thai and japanese). They are very friendly and kind. The matcha cake which is the fluffy ones in the picture are nice and have cream cheese inside. The hot matcha was really good thought I was back in Kyoto.
S. C.
Went to this place on the recommendation of a friend. Had the matcha Swiss roll and matcha latte. They were both delicious. Nice bitter notes of matcha in the cake balanced out by a creamy matcha cream. Liked that the cake wasn’t too sweet. The matcha latte was also great and also not too sweet.
The cafe itself is quite small and tucked away down a smaller street which gave it an industrial ambiance. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Make sure you have cash if you’re going to spend less than $20 cause they have a $20 minimum for credit card (not sure about EFTPOS).
J. W.
If you like green tea or any tea for that matter, you need to go try this place. Tucked in an unassuming backstreet, this cafe is cleverly decorated so you feel like you are transported to Kyoto or Taipei. Most come for their matcha latte but stay for their delicious assortment of cakes and sweets. Their matcha lava cake is an absolute must try and if you are not feeling like a matcha, then try their hōjicha teas and latte. The roasted tea leave offers an unique flavour and experience which I personally prefer.
I. L.
Tiny little shop in the mildly of CBD with lots of match goodies. Limited seatings, takeaway available. Very nice match flavors and dessert, savory dishes from next table also look good.
A.
They have really good matcha latte, hojicha latte and matcha desserts. It is a pretty small cafe, with stools and low tables, giving the cafe a very unique relaxing environment.
T. L.
A minimalist Japanese style cafe serving matcha based drinks and desserts. I ordered hojicha latte and iced roasted brown rice green tea latte. Can’t skip their matcha swiss roll which tastes fluffy and creamy. The matcha cream was a bit sweet for my preference. At the moment only takeaway available which is a bit sad but anyway their drinks are delicious but on a higher price range ($6.5). Service is good.
T. Y.
Went there twice during the Easter break in 2018, really miss it - an authentic quiet and easy Japanese cafe around the corner is always like a dream
J. Z.
Best almost Everything! Delicious cheese cake, sandwiches! Hope I can have it every day!!
J.
If you love Matcha in any form or way then this is the place to go in Sydney. From Matcha tea bowls, matcha tarts, matcha scrolls and matcha cheesecakes as well as other more general coffee and other food selection. Cafe Cre Asion has alot to offer in a quiet and tucked away location!
C. a. V. (. &. V.
A simply outstanding quality French-Japanese influenced cafe experience. Refined flavours from local and premium ingredients that showcase the mastery of the cafe's owner Yu Sasaki. We tried the amazing fondant, caramel tart, matcha tart, matcha latte, and their Single Origin Roasters brew. Every bite was an exercise in restraint and balance. Cafe Cre Asion is a must visit for any serious foodie.
S. J.
Awesome place to visit if you LOVE Japanese tea. All kinds of matcha goodness you can ever imagine, served in a fusion style whilst still maintaining the traditional Japanese essence. Small but cozy and homey premise, swing by to get your coffee/tea fix and grab some sweets. Their freshly baked Matcha Muffin is a must!
h. W.
cafe is too watery. the pastry are worth trying. Sandwich is so so. Good place for afternoon tea with one or two friends. Not suitable for groups with more ppl. It’ll be too crowded. Not difficult to find the cafe if you follow the google map.
C. Y.
One of the best matcha drink in Sydney🥰had a really nice breakfast here! Don’t forget to try their dessert as well!
L. S.
Great matcha dessert! Highly recommend my favourite, matcha tart!
The place always crowded n not really comfortable to sit.
P. Y.
Matcha desserts here is really good. I will come again and also recommend it to my friends, haha.
But the tables are limited . Hope the owners can expand more space to offer seats for customers.
D. C.
Most wonderful find with incredible food and matcha drinks. This place is authentic with a Japanese owner spreading the good word of Japanese matcha to the Aussie peeps
G. T.
Quaint little cafe tucked away on a side street serving on of the best matcha desserts I've ever had. Seats are limited so be prepared to wait or just takeaway!
A. L.
It's a hidden gem inside these quite streets. Been here twice now, absolutely love all the matcha drinks so far. Will definitely try their matcha cake next time! Friendly staff as well. Although, I wish the seating can improve a little bit. Perhaps upgrade the seats to something better or bigger. It's a little cold in winter atm. Otherwise love the place.
G. V.
Amazing cozy place. Add a fine Japanese touch to your Espresso and let you indulge you senses with a matcha fondant aside your coffee drink. Set in a small side street this coffee /matcha shop gives you the recharge you need after lunch! Definitely worth to visit!
A. M.
After my first sip of the Hoji Latte (roasted matcha) I wanted to go back to the cafe just to tell the owner how absolutely delicious it was!
S. L.
A small corner shop located on a hidden lane, serving all things matcha. My friend and I got the matcha and hojicha latte, paired with a matcha chiffon cake.
The lattes are not sickly sweet and the matcha and hojicha flavour aren't too overpowering. A very well balanced drink.
The chiffon cake is a slice of fluffiness! It's so light it can fly in the sky. haha.
J. W.
A tiny Japanese cafe specialises in green matcha cakes and beverages. We tried the matcha swiss role and tart and they were nice and not overly sweet, typical of Japanese desserts which I like.
The downside is that the place is very small with very limited tables and seats on offer for patrons to dine in. And the seats were low stools so not the most comfy and definitely not young family friendly. We got take away.
J. C.
Really lovely matcha menu items here! Quite expensive, but they use good quality ingredients. Place is a bit small so seating is limited.
A.
Haven't been to this place in a while. We were a bit disappointed when they served the matcha in cheap plastic cups than their usual Japanese matcha bowls coz it was such a novelty and lovely tradition. This was one of the many reasons that kept us returning to this place! The plates they served the desserts in also looked really cheap. Although the good quality of the food and drinks made up for the cheap presentation. Goes to show how much of an impact presentation can make as most people eat with their eyes! They said they were under new management so hopefully they bring them back!! Anyway they still one of the best matcha lattes! Would give a 5⭐️ if they brought back the bowls 😊🍵🍃
H. T.
My favourite dessert place. Reasonably priced and extremely delicious matcha desserts. I dont have a sweet tooth so these desserts suit me much better. Not overly sweet and the bitterness of the matcha is perfect. There aren't many seating spaces though so be warned!
H. L.
The matcha fondant was nice but the ice cream was a bit icey
n. p. p.
i love this place!
The best menu items are:
- matcha latte
- Muffins (apple cinnamon)
- chicken enoki mushroom sandwich
- matcha tarte
- chocolate fondant brownie with matcha ice cream and cream!
S.
Excellent coffee, nice and smooth. Delicious matcha swiss roll.
C. D.
The matcha fondant defies words with how good it is. Worth coming for on its own.
The cafe is small, but cute and the staff were nice.
S. M.
Lava cake was so good! So many good green tea treats! Loved it.
R. P.
Lovely small cosy cafe. Very welcoming service and the importantly the home made foods are spectacular!
H. L.
It’s a quiet place for you to date with others, environment is good here, looks like traditional Japanese store—of course, it’s very small. But deserts and Green tea latte is good, will be there next time.
R. W.
Authentic matcha tasting treats and drinks! Definitely the spot for you if you're a big fan of matcha.
N. F.
Great spot for coffee and a treat. The chairs are tiny and might be suited to a tiny person. The place is quaint and boutique-like. Lovely staff too.
J. L.
Great place for matcha lovers! Enjoyed the Swiss roll & matcha latte. Real authentic.
K. A.
If you love authentic japanese matcha this place is not to be missed. I am a regular and always get my matcha latte here. Wish they had some sort of loyalty/reward system like other cafes though.
J. E.
Glorious. Sydney's best matcha. Tarts (and houjicha pudding) to die for, and amazing staff.
M. N.
Nice matcha latte and confectionery. But it's very small and not enough seats.
R. P.
It might be difficult to find where the cafe is since it's in an alley way but it's a small place w a minimalistic aesthetic. Not many places to sit since covid practices are in place. The staff are nice & patient.
황.
it is good very good. but the table is too low, i just think about how to eat clearly, so i just dont remember how that dessert was. and the black current macaroon is too sweet. i think i need to try the other things. anyway the only problrm is the table
E. X.
Would be 5, as they have excellent matcha-everything but they don't have any seating since COVID kicked in so it's great only for takeaway. When they had seating, it was still really cramped as a space (if you're lucky to get one of the few seats) so not great as a catch up place.
K. H.
Best Matcha Latte in Sydney! Strong Matcha taste and not very milky like many other cafes. Very little seating area, and even less indoors. Be prepared to just come, take away and go if it rains!
Shame it only opens til late afternoon as well (as this is when the Japanese restaurant behind it opens)
M. X.
Complementary macaron when you order a cup of coffee to take away. So yummy❤️
R. E.
I love hoji tea latte here and matcha muffin with cream cheese in it! I’ve tried cookie the other day and it was nice, too♡ super small shop, no eat-in space available due to COVID situation, so I always enjoy their food/drink at a park nearby:)
j. C.
Yummy green tea desserts which are so full of matcha flavour! very small seating availability so best for takeaway :)
K. W.
quality still pretty good after years
matcha fans would fall in love with here
so much matcha goodies
I like the matcha / genmaicha latte
but sometimes when it gets crowded it's quite annoying to grab a little table with seats
one thing, I like the tea bowl they used to serve the matcha latte better than now they use tall design plastic cup 🍵
c. h.
Such a cute lil place with lovely service. I'd been wanting to come to this cafe ever since I saw it on my fav foodie's instagram. Did not disappoint, they had a variety of delicious desserts and treats, as well as drinks. It was so good that I took many treats home as gifts for my friend, we had a matcha feast and enjoyed them together that night. Will visit every time I go to Sydney again !
M. F.
A matcha place like you would never imagine. The pastries were awesome, I have just a bit of an issue with the Matcha Tea Latte. I don’t know why it taste like a seaweed of some sort which I don’t like. Probably for some, it’s good, not for my taste. We ordered Cheesecake and Apple Muffin which were really good. The tables and chairs might not suit a larger or a taller person so hopefully, they can have a proper one.
H. M. M.
What an absolutely beautifully Japanese aesthetic place. Very minimalist decorations with a beautiful light atmosphetr that is also very simple. Can fit about 10 people seated maximum so you're always in for a good time. I would HIGHLY recommend the ginger latte and the matcha and red bean muffin with cream cheese, they are divine.
I will return for more!
S. C.
This little Japanese style cafe is so good. Nice cheesecake and quiet enough for relax, a nice place to chill out with friends if you think the cafe in city is too noisy!
Except the cookies are kind of oily, over all is good. But will not suggest the macaroons, I had a few and most of them are too dry, probably kept in fridge for too long already.
Their sandwiches for lunch are good too!
T. T.
Outstanding matcha latte and superb green tea treats.
K. H.
A little hard to find but the food is fantastic. Great sweets. The matcha fondant was especially good (and an instagram favourite judging by all the photos that were being taken). Just be aware that you sit out on the street on little stools - not the sort of place you can sit back and linger. It's in amongst high rises so I imagine the wind tunnel effect is pretty bad on windy days.
And while one of the two guys serving was really friendly, the other (owner?) was hopeless. Never smiled, never said a word to a customer the whole time we were there - despite the fact he was also bringing out food and putting it on tables. Nothing, even when they missed part of our order. A simple, "Here you go, sorry about that" would have sufficed. Still, I give it 5 stars because the food was that good
A.
One of the best matcha cafe around the area. I always come here whenever I'm in Sydney. Had a matcha latte and matcha roll cake. Not too sweet which is how I like it. Highly recommend!
e. m.
the best matcha in Sydney, if you are matcha lover. don't miss this place .
D. K.
was a regular customer back in 2012 when it was still a quiet cafe hidden in the backstreet, back then I always enjoyed the variety of macaron flavours that used to change every so often. Very boutique-like store, with few seatings available. The coffee there are great too.
Nowadays the macaron flavours are mostly set, with more variety of things in the menu including matcha fondant, muffins, etc
Menu is simplistic, atmosphere is great, I can't drop by as much anymore only because of work (as the cafe closes early in preparation for the restaurant just behind it for dinner), but I highly recommend. I highly recommend the restaurant Sasaki as well.
M. M.
Really Japanese matcha ! One of my favorite! Just a bit more too expensive
L.
close to hyde park. Tasty and authentic macha sweets and they have friendly staff! small cafe space.
L. V. O.
Very friendly staff. Seems like a little well-kept secret in the city. We had the matcha muffin, the granola and the chicken. The granola was really nice and the chicken was absolute perfection. My chai latte was a bit too strong for me. When I asked to add a bit more milk, they just gave me a complete new one.
T. L.
Very nice matcha biscuit. The matcha latte is so so.
A. W.
I have to say this was my favorite part about visiting Sydney, we tried a few drinks off the menu and I'd rate it all in my top drinks I've had in my life. My favorite was the hoji Cha, it's a perfect blend of matcha and vanilla with slight nutty undertones.
J. J.
My favourite Japanese cafe. Hojicha latte was really tasty!
L. W.
Best matcha latte in the city - they also offer classic matcha without milk. Great sandwiches, macarons with Japanese flavours and green tea muffins are all good. As of late, is packed on the weekend, with lines bigger than the space allows.
C. B.
Gorgeous matcha tea lattes, served in a stone cup. I popped in early on a Saturday and shared a table with some peeps, it was that packed already! Their muffins are to die for; with a crunchy top and consistency of a chiffon cake on the inside (also was still warm from the oven). Nice place to chill and enjoy their matcha tea selection.
N. T.
One of the best cafe. Matcha lover would love this place. Love their desserts are not too sweet. Foods are very simple and fresh too! Been there many times and will keep going back for more matcha and breakkie. Keep it up the good services!
Z. C.
Great breakfast and Japanese latte. Only thing is that chairs and tables are not designed for you to sit and enjoy the food, guaranteed back pain if you try to finish the sandwich and coffee. Understand it is a small cafe at the back of ally with winter wind, so take away if you can. Don't expect to sit comfortablely for a brunch.
M. O.
This is my lunch almost every morning.
• Soy matcha latte, large, no sugar
• 1/2 Avocado & 1/2 Scrambled Egg, Full Serve
Not only I go for the food and drink (Arguably the best Matcha Latte in the City), but I come in with really kind greetings from the staff that know their customers by first names.
This is a gem worth visiting and one to come back to always.
Keep up the great and kind service Cafe Cre Asion!
J. F.
As a secret green tea snob following my years living in Kyoto, when I am told to skip the coffee and try the tea, I have to do what I'm told.
While the hojicha was nice enough, it isn't why I recommend that you visit. It's for the delicate balance that the cakes have here, particularly the green tea Swiss roll. The cut though of bitter green tea was perfect and delicious. Not overly sweet, the sponge nice and fluffy, I could not have asked for more.
d.
I love their matcha tarts, have been coming for them for years, but they are quite salty lately. I noticed they have started to sprinkle salt on top. It really ruin the taste. Love this place anyway, best place for matcha lovers.
C. L.
Coffee is excellent. Lots of unique flavours to pick from as well, my favourite is the ginger latte which I like with a shot of coffee. A bit of a walk from my work place but I make it a habit to go at least twice a week!
T. D.
A little hidden gem in the tucked away lanes of Sydney for matcha enthusiasts.
This unsuspecting cafe requires you to stumble across it and take in the fragrance of freshly made tarts, cheesecakes and other delectable pastries among the coffee aromas before finding yourself absolutely ruining your lunch or dinner plans because you've somehow found a way to fit one of every menu item in your bottomless dessert stomach, including a second round of whichever your favourite was.
This is a must visit place if you're ever in Sydney.
R. Y.
Proper matcha latte with no bitterness or lacklustre blandness, but an intense smooth matcha taste that reflects the high quality of matcha used. Thank god this place exists in Sydney for a matcha fix, Starbucks is an insult compared to this. If you've bought high grade matcha before you'll know it isn't cheap, so it's well worth the $6 they charge here. Don't forget to try the matcha fondant, it is their signature for good reason!
E. Y.
I like the little bitterness of Matcha and the sweetness of Latte.
u. n.
Great place for everything matcha!
N.
Perfect little hidden cafe. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The coffee is great and the baked goods are always fresh and full of flavour. Macarons are also worthwhile.
M. J. O.
Very comfy and warm ambience with a pure Asian touch. Beautifully simple menu items and transparent food configuration made feel fully satisfied. Good coffee and very friendly servers. I highly recommend.
K. T.
tiny cafe but it serves the best matcha latte in town. all of their matcha infused desserts are delicious too and worth trying. highly recommended!
D. C.
The matcha fondant is a must try. There honestly nothing like it. The matcha latte is deep and wonderfully delicious too. The seating space is extremely limited for a Cafe. That is the only gripe.
Z. L.
A wonderful place for Japanese matcha desert. I tried every desert in this cafe and they were amazing. But it is usually crowded and full of people. Recommend that going there about 11am. Coz in peak hours maybe u have to take away ur food haha. And taking away will miss the beautiful decoration.🤗🤗🤗
M. S.
Located behind the heavily fortified AFP building and on the bottom of a slim built architecturally building lies a oasis of matcha flavoured delights in a cafe. The wise of matcha here is profoundly mesmerising to the taste buds, unfortunately the cost is a bit on the uppity side of town as well
P. L. C.
Meow! I love the baked treats here and the hot drinks. Especially the tea lattes. It’s such a great quiet spot to escape the city’s busy. Perfect little corner. 5 paws! 🐾
C. C.
Food was nice, scrambled eggs on sourdough is a must try. The gensai macaroon taste very unique too. Not much sitting area though. And we got disturbed by a very annoying pigeon ><
S.
One of the best matcha green tea latte in Sydney!
O. T.
So good, select menu but everything they do is an art! Sandwiches are really well balanced and the matcha latte is so so good! Great minimalist Japanese vibes as well!
A. G.
Gorgeous little tucked away spot. Great coffee.
C. L.
Really limited seats. Plain water available. The chiffon cake is average but the others are great. Last time went to the cafe and the staff forgot our drinks but we got refund.
J. L.
Tempted to rate 1 star just to discourage others from finding out about this place.. but too late anyway.
Great little cafe with delicious green tea everything. The macarons are on par with laduree. However not enough seating and packed out on weekends.
K. K.
I am currently doing my civic duty by serving jury service. One of the court rules is that jurors are not allowed to go to any coffee shops in the vicinity of the courts, as we might bump into the accused, the barristers or witnesses. So I wandered further afield, saw some people coming out of a lane way with coffee cups in hand, and ventured down to see what was there. I wasn't disappointed with what I found!
A cute little cafe, super friendly staff, great coffee and mouth watering toast with butter and vegemite. I came back again the following day to get another hit.
o. d.
Interesting and original green tea themed cafe. Including green tea desserts. Delicious products. Highly recommend. Only down side; kitchen is bigger than customer area, can sit outside but in winter it gets cold.
S. L.
I finally had a chance to go try this cafe that I've been talking about it for ages.
Located only about 5 minute from Martin Place Station.
This cafe is very hidden, it actually look me awhile to find this.
Opened by Japanese, I was actualy shock.
When I ordered a Chai Latte, I was expecting that it will be serve in a glass but it came in a bowl, it actually tasted really good.
Must try this place if you have a chance.
z. c.
My favourite little hidden cafe at the moment. The best thing about this place is that they not only do great coffee offered up with big cheezy smiles that remind you that life is worth living (especially early on a Monday morning) - but they also kick butt at breaky foods. I had a breaky egg and bacon cupcake, warm and gooey cheese with eggs that arent over cooked, crispy little whipsers of bacon all inside a very crisp pastry case. Yum!!!
L. S. C.
Matcha desserts. The waiting time was moderate. Worth for the wait!
T. S. T.
Matcha/ green tea everything! A small shop situated in a narrow quiet lane, this is a good place to take away some matcha drinks and/or desserts. They even sell various flavours of macarons.
K. M.
Super cute, good food options for good prices, a good cake selection. I'd recommend the matcha latte, or if you've had that a lot then try the houji latte
R. K.
I really enjoy coming back to Cre Asion for their chicken sandwich and green tea flavoured desserts.
In the morning before 11am, it is still quiet and relatively easy to get a seat. Afterwards, you may have to wait a little.
The seating itself is really low and small, which will be uncomfortable for some of the older/elderly crowd.
E. B.
Quaint micro-cafe tucked in behind the federal police offices on Goulburn st. Good range of matcha-desserts/cakes and great matcha lattes. The scrambled eggs are delicious!
M. A.
This is easily one of my favourite cafes in Sydney. The macarons, the food, coffee; but most importantly the service. Yu never fails to make his customers feel welcome, almost like friends. It's also tucked away, making it a great place just to relax with a calm, decorated atmosphere. My other favourite part is that they always play the best music fitting, and you can grab a copy of monocle.
G. M.
A Green-tea themed Cafe! A great place to try authentic strong Green Tea latter ($5). The service is really friendly, the only downside is the really small and limited space. Good for takeaway.
M. M.
Everything is amazing! I especially love the matcha fondant. Small space, but the food is worth it. Also a little hard to find.
M. J.
Every dessert in here tastes really great, and matcha latte also tastes amazing
Not too sweet and has rich flavor
N. A.
Very sweet and cosy place that’s not visible straight away. Minimalistic, but delicious menu. Chocolate fondant is a must try.
M. L.
Great green tea desserts and drinks with really good matcha powder. Only thing is that it has really limited seating so maybe grab one on the go.
F. L.
Small gem tucked in the alleys of Central. Iced green tea latte was refreshing and the matcha chiffon cake was not overly sweet!!
C. Y.
Walk across the bridge from north shore to city almost every week for the BEST BEST .....Matcha Latte 🍵And their food is simple but so tasty. If I live closer, probably will go there every day 💕
h. l.
Interesting and innovative menu with fresh takes on cafe items and sweets. Their matcha drinks and sweets are awesome.
S. P.
Absolutely gorgeous meal and coffee. Tiny café that offers the best of experience. Fantastic food backed up by a perfect and very friendly service.
A. Z.
Amazing matcha cupcakes and tasty sandwiches, either of which go well with their green tea latte. Looking forward to going again soon.
W. T.
Friendly staff and the best Macha cakes. Hoji tea latte is a must try. Wished they have more settings though..
M.
Bit slow service and over price. But tasty drinks&sandwiches
G. M.
Best Matcha, Macarons and I like their cookies, they are simple and fill the gap very nicely : )
Y. K.
My usual is Matcha latte and matcha muffin. One of the best matcha cafe in Sydney. Well done team.
C. M.
Delicious desserts, favourite for pure matcha goodness was the green tea tart :) reminds me of the matcha desserts in Kyoto
T. V.
Great for those who like to relax. Specialises in serving green tea products.
J. T.
Nice place and nice atmosphere. Quiet as well as it's not near any main roads. It was fun to drink match latte out of a bowl!
S.
The best matcha cafe ever!
Highly recommend the iced matcha latte and the matcha tart.
M.
Cosy, small cafe with great customer service. The Japanese influenced food and coffee are next level. The ginger latte 👌
杨.
wonderful matcha!!
match roll is not too sweet but the matcha favor is strong.
like everything here.
P. U.
Great matcha and macarons, bht dont go there because it is already crowded and I want a seat.
D. C.
Coffee was good, and was a interesting sort of set up with the seats being so very low! you have to keep your eye out cause it is slightly hard to spot
K. W.
Mocha Latte is divine!
E. W.
Amazing matcha tart especially the little topping of sea salt which made the flavor beautiful!

第一次來,很喜歡,瑞士捲不會太甜,甜度很剛剛好!另外抹茶拿鐵很濃郁又不會苦或過甜,很棒。

(Translated) If you look for a cafe that feels like a Japanese cafe, cafe cre asion is a really perfect place! The cafe is a bit small and narrow, but the cre asion sweets were really delicious! My recommendations are matcha fondant and brown rice macarons. On top of that, I like Hoji tea latte most.
It is quite small and cramped but the food here is soooo good. I highly recommend the matcha fondant and the genmaicha macaron!
The lava cake is absolutely to die for, it was so moist and rich and with the melted matcha inside ... peak perfection!
I particularly loved the genmaicha, I haven't tried this type of tea flavor before but I'm hoping to have more. The black sesame was good and the kokuto caramel tastes exactly like expected ... good caramel that melts in your mouth!
The chiffon cake was a bit disappointing .. The azuki cream did not taste very strong or add flavour to the chiffon cake which I thought was a bit hard ... not as fuwa fuwa as I thought.
Houjicha is critically underrated in Sydney, I recommend people to try it over the matcha! Houjicha gets its distinctive flavor by being one of the few teas being roasted over a polec houjicha more :)

Cre Asion replicates the Japanese cafe in Tokyo vibe so well! It is quite small and cramped but the food here is soooo good. I highly recommend the matcha fondant and the genmaicha macaron!

(Translated) A shop where you can enjoy authentic green tea in Sydney.
Matcha tea taste is also good and delicious. Both roll cake and matcha gateau chocolate were not too sweet and matched the matcha.
The price is, of course, higher than in Japan, but it is not that high in Sydney.

(Translated) One of the best matcha cafe in Sydney. Highly recommended matcha latte and cake. Great location and friendly staff, small shop and often with lots of people, very popular. Great matcha coffee shop, matcha latte and matcha sandwich cake eat.

(Translated) Matcha is very fragrant. I was afraid that it would be thick and easily greasy, but in fact it tastes refreshing, but unfortunately I can’t finish it~
Matcha Tower, Matcha Latte 😊

抹茶很香,原本怕會很濃容易膩,但其實吃起來確很清爽,可惜胃痛無法吃完~
抹茶塔、抹茶拿鐵 😊

(Translated) Coffee was too watery, the smell and the flavors couldn't come out, not fresh enough. Wasn't impressed by the cake roll nor the muffin neither, the color was right though the matcha flavor is very weak. It's just a OK cafe , overrated.
The coffee is not fragrant and the taste is very light. It may be that too much water is added, which caused me to go to the alley next door and buy a small latte to add caffeine. The cake rolls are ordinary, muffins are also popular, and the cake body has no matcha aroma. The cake was tasteless, and the coffee was tasteless, which made me think I had a problem with my taste. After I bought the coffee in the alley next door, I confirmed that my taste was normal. It's just an ordinary coffee shop, well-known.

(Translated) It is a famous restaurant for desserts using green tea such as Macha Pongdan and various macarons.
It's the same type of Japanese restaurant Sasaki attached to the side and is a must-visit in Sydney if it's green tea.
Although you don't like carriages, it is a place you often think of when you are nearby, and you can feel the rich and steamed green tea flavor.
Desserts as well as sandwiches are recommended
