Amazing! Turned up at 2pm on a Wednesday, greeted by a lovely Czech waitress with a massive smile as I came toward the cafe, offered a table that she wiped down again for me, took my coffee and food order right away, coffee came quickly and tasted amazing…legit, in my top 5 coffees ever. While I’m waiting for my food I see her chatting nicely to the elderly customers, quickly clearing tables as people leave, checking occasionally that people aren’t “looking” for her in her service area, and my food came literally within 10mins. For some context I had originally tried to go to Chaos cafe where they wouldn’t serve me because they were closing - not even take away - but their hours say to 4pm. Chaos waitress recommended Cafe Mosman and I’m so glad I took her advice. I’m a local and I think this will be my regular from now on.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! From long time ago. Now even updated/better menu. Vine is excellent addition. Prices very reasonable. Portions size reasonable. I will come so many times more, to check whole menu.

Really like the ambiance at this place, waiters were friendly even though it was quite busy. We were a bit disappointed by the food. It’s not bad, but the açai bowl was a bit minimal and the presentation was too sloppy. The salmon on the eggs Benedict was very salty, and the balance in the dish was off.

First time visiting Cafe Mosman was during the ease of COVID lockdown. I can see why the restaurant is always busy. I enjoyed a burger for lunch and the ingredients were fresh and the meat was juicy. Service was friendly and attentive and prices were pretty standard cafe prices. They have plenty of outdoor seating, but the seats do get taken pretty quick. Date of visit: 23 June 2020

Beautiful food, fast service, great local vibe with shaded outdoor sitting under the leafy trees. Beautiful seasonal porridge, spanish eggs and big breakfast are some of our favourites. The only downside is coffee - every time it is burnt in my experience. Guess it's a hit with the fans of Italian roast. For the French roast aficionados like myself it is way too burnt.

The friendliest cafe in Mosman! My fiancé and I visit Cafe Mosman for our morning ta coffee. Most days we are served by Yo, he is SO wonderful! The staff are efficient and kind and it’s not surprising they have built a loyal base of customers - we see the same faces there all the time! The coffee is fab too!

Lovely setting and decent food, was pretty happy with the chicken fillet burger. Would be nice if the waitress can be a little more attentive and friendly. Pro tip: please don't stare at your customers when they are waiting for their food.

This is a very popular and busy cafe, but once you get seated you get served super quickly and the waiters and waitresses will always greet you with the smile and their full attention. The food is to die for and never boring! The service is top and always consistent. The food is always fresh and I can’t fault any aspects of this cafe. Cafe Mosman is an absolute institution in Mosman and is a local favourite. Being on a popular walking route from the public school and next to the library it is often frequented in the afternoon by kids and mums on the way from school. Wonderful cakes and light meals. Good juices. Offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and the owner is a great guy who loves to chat.

Having moved to Mosman from London I have frequented Cafe Mosman on almost a daily basis for a year now. This has to be one of the best cafes around. Excellent coffee, terrific food, lovely ambience and the levels of service delivered by all is superb, efficient, warm and always with a smile! Troy and his team are amazing. Having spent a career spanning 40 years in 5 star Hospitality Management I know a thing or two about what it takes to deliver quality service to customers and Cafe Mosman absolutely ticks all the boxes! We were at the cafe Mosman for lunch with friends ... the atmosphere is very relaxing ... we had pasta ragu home made was fantastic, tasty, the beef ragu melted in our mouth, the angus beef burger combined with cheese and bacon was great, ravioli home made with napoletana sauce and parmisan cheese top. Every single dish was perfect and doesn't matter how busy they are. The service was excellent accompanied by great coffee, definitely one of the best cafes in Sydney

Not too bad, there are some nice places to sit outside of the cafe in the small courtyard and their specials menu is decent. From the specials I tried the spanish baked eggs which contained a very generous quantity of chorizo, in addition to a number of other additions to the standard baked eggs combination (including some salsa on the side). So in this regard it was a better baked eggs than the average. Their usual menu is a bit underwhelming though and the coffee was very plain. Given that the prices are higher than average (damn that Mosman premium...) it is only really worth trying out the specials.

Our family were on holiday in Sydney and came across this café in our travels. We found this establishment to be a very warm and friendly place to have our lunch. We are from Darwin and the RAT race of Sydney can be quite scary but when we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table we felt relaxed and right at home. The waitress Emily was very efficient, knowing the menu without having to glance at it(very rare I have found)and while taking our orders told us about the history of the area and some of the nearby attractions we should look at on our holiday. The food came out with the minimum of fuss and was exceptional. This was a highlight of our holiday as we were made to feel welcome.. Do yourself a favour and visit this great little GEM in the RAT RACE of Sydney.. Well done Guys and please let Emily know she has a bright future in whatever she chooses to do in the future..
