My son has a gluten allergy and the chef Will is always very particular and goes above and beyond to ensure his meals are kept safe with no cross contamination. The food is always fresh and delicious and my son feels safe eating there knowing he will not get sick. Thank you for looking after us every time we dine there.

Meeting family for dinner at hotel Monday 21/6 unfortunately a young lad was sick in bistro eating area, bistro staff advised but to busy to clean vomit up 👎 , however, the young lady working the front bar immediately took action after being advised while also attending the bar , her effort was outstanding, many thanks from a ex hotel owner, staff like you are hard to find 👍

The staff are always helpful and happy. the main man , that runs the pub is all over the customer service, excellent food and if there was something wrong they will go more than over the top to fix it they ensure you leave very happy my family and l eat there all the time and when have people visiting thats our first choice. Nice pub but the food could be better for the price. It was understaffed the night we were there for a B-day party which caused a lengthy weight for everyone to receive their meals.

Stopped in a couple of times for a feed before catching a movie at the drive-in. The food is great, good sized portions, haven't had a bad meal between us, but be prepared for a long wait, average wait time 1hr for meals thus far for us, and bar only accepts cash.

Fantastic place for lunch and tea. Had lunch today and the creamy garlic prawns were perfect, wifes vegetarian pasta was brilliant, nice open dining area with outdoor spots for milder weather. Will be back soon.

Great local Pub, Beer and drinks cold and super fresh. Even better since renovations, clean cool indoor area and outside porch and table areas. Regrettably the pub suffers from "Good Chef/Bad Chef" syndrome. when the "Good Chef" is on the meals a fantastic, well cooked, steaks cooked correctly(a medium rare is a medium rare), fish moist, prawns terrific etc, when "Bad Chef" is on a medium rare is well done, a rare is well done, fish is dry and hard, chicken like cardboard and average prawns. A big highlight for years is their fresh coleslaw, it is the best there is along with their chips, however last visit it had changed, was terrible and a different color even, hope the original one comes back ! Make sure you go on a "Good Chef" night and you will have a fantastic meal. June Posting: "New Chef" started about 4 weeks ago, he seems to have made a difference since posting above.

Yeh although staff a bit unfriendly does the publican and his staff realize that the customers bring in the money and they should be nothing but nice friendly and wanting to make them feel relaxed and at home no the feeling was like cold and loke the staff feel as though they are above you!! Made me feel bad for ordering a drink, How dare I make the bar attendant stop reading the paper to serve me. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
