Excellent Coffee,tasty varied, healthy filling breakfast menu; superb helpful friendly table service from Michelle. She was very bold, but did her utmost to make us welcome, to helped us get what we needed (and avoid what we didn't need!). Really good prices for the city, outdoor tables right on Macquarie Street. Some indoor tables too but its much nicer outside! We went there day after day, the best in the area by far, would have gone there Saturday if they were open!! We'll be back!!

This cafe has lovely food and most of the staff and management are very good. Although one specific waitress who served us today was very rude, unprofessional, didn’t smile, slammed meals and cutlery down, and she had no idea what people skills were or how to use them. This really dampened the lunch experience unfortunately, if it wasn’t for this waitress I would of scored 5 star.

I took a while to get served. The queue was quite long, as it was busy during the morning due to business workers etc. The coffee was delicious but the customer service was not so great (not so friendly) Right next to Martin Place train station (only 5-10 minutes walk) depending which exit you take, if you take the macquarie Street exit, it would be a lot quicker.

The Legal Grounds Cafe has a nice environment for those that want to eat or simply have a chat with their friends. The staff are flexible with your food orders, I asked them to swap the chips their 'Seafood Mix' with Greek Salad, which they were happy to do. The salad itself was made fresh and so, tasted pretty good. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the seafood, deep fried is nice but there was too much batter which took away the unique texture of the seafood that was provided.

I love this place. It is my 'go-to' when I am early in the city to start the day. The back usually is quiet and the waitresses are extremely nice and attentive, she even remembers my order. And above all, the coffee is absolutely divine. It makes me happy. :-)

Love,Legal Grounds Cafe the bestest place to have a meal and a fresh coffee. Indoor outdoor seating. My cousin and myself come to Macquarie St Sydney Eye Hospital 2 to 3 times a year. We are from Western Nsw. Takes us 6 hours to drive here. Breakfast, Lunch, DELICIOUS. You can even get a wine or a beer. Almost forgot the Delicious Desserts. I cannot say enough. The proprietors Peter and the lovely Melina is so friendly and welcoming. Everyone, City or Country. GO HERE. LEGAL GROUNDS CAFE Macquarie St Opposite to the Sydney Eye Hospital. 5 Star Rating.

Not the best place for having lunch. Chips were similar to what you find in Mcdonalds and the burger was very normal. Not too bad not too good.

Quality coffee and food right in the heart of the city. What's not to like? Service is fast and friendly even during peak periods (which is most of the day). Food options are broad (salads, wraps, toasties, cookies just to name a few) and very tasty. Eat in or takeaway. Definitely worth repeated visits. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful. Food was great and decently priced (in my opinion) and looked wonderful. Serves was amazing from the get go. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere (although a bit noisy during lunch time). Deffinatly would recommend coming here and will definitely be coming back when I next come to Sydney.

Nice and very quick coffee here, and the staff like to have a laugh too. Food is pretty good, but expensive for what it is. Best bang or your buck is the chicken, avocado and cheese toasts: $12.50. The brownies are also good when warmed up, however occasionally they can heat them up too much and cause them to melt, but they are still VERY tasty. Unfortunately they're not open on Sundays, so I have to go to 'The Eggshell' and this is annoying as they don't serve good coffee OR food.

Great little place for an early coffee and snack. They kindly made up a vegan panini on request and the coffee was great. Staff were excellent. Next time might sit inside as you have to put up with smokers on the street.

I am their customer since April 2011 and today is 21/11/2017 Their nice food and excellent customer service. My first place to stop when I am out from office. Their staff is very friendly and kind. Good and tasty chicken and fish food. I cant find half chicken roll in $4.50 around my office. Thanks for good work.
