The wagyu bagel was fantastic. The kimchi inside the bagel was not like the traditional Korean kimchi. It was not that sour.
I ordered a flat white n a long black. Both were good.
The guy at the counter was so friendly. Great service.
Although the internal area of the shop was a bit small, the whole vibe of the shop was great.
Unfortunately they don’t make lobster rolls for lunch no more.
W. N.
Nice looking Cafe at a corner drew my attention to try.
For my first time, it took me a moment to figure out wheres the queue to order as its not directly at the door. For takeaways, It gets a bit tricky to hear your name being called when you stand outside as the nice looking glasses became a sound barrier.
Non the less the coffee is fine and its more of an ideal place to sit down and catch up with a friend when the weather is good, though the seating area is pretty tight. It would be nicer once the construction near the store is finished.
E. F.
Salad bowls here are the best, an interesting mixture of good quality ingredients. Nice staff, cute tables and cutlery. Can't wait to try their whole menu!
H. S.
Delicious coffee is served here. Even if you have to wait in an extremely long queue to get it. And the interior design is just perfect, stylish as hell. One of the best coffee shops in CBD
I. N.
Super fast. Delicious egg n bacon bagel. Very nice area, and the girl was so pleasant. Very nice addition to my first morning of freedom in SYD in a looooong time
J. C.
Always a pleasure to visit here for coffee! My only drawback is that the bagels are way too pricey - mine wasn’t filled with the same toppings as the other pre-made ones, but I was still charged the same price.
E. L.
The pork belly and egg burger was so juicy. A great breakfast to start my day! Love their breakfast bowl too! Lots of greens and healthy stuffs inside. Recommend!!
K.
Their salad bowls are the best in town! Ingredients are oh-so-fresh feels like they’ve got a garden at the back and got them just off the ripe as you order.
Aamazing how they do returner bowls so you can minimise your enviro impact whilst staying lazy! :p
Perfect combinations in a bowl too, well balanced seasoning and all!
Don’t forget the once-a-while go-to guilty brekkie toast:
Macadamia butter toast <- you MUST have this once in your life time! No jokes! Best nut toast in my 20 years of life, only served until 11:30am!
Friendly staff, the shop is buzzy all day long.
I. E. B.
Great location, excellent coffee and very friendly staff. You can dine in, can be nice for a quick pause in your day or a light meeting or catchup.

As spectacular cafes go, it's hard to go past Regiment CBD. A beautiful fit-out with sweeping lines, Byron Blackbutt, and gold accents. Bespoke Synesso machines dominate the counter pointing to a great coffee experience. Filter coffees and milk based coffees are on point. On the food front for the health minded, there's a pear-ginger muesli with yoghurt, forest fruit, and almond milk. For a little treat, you can't go past the crispy smoked pork belly, eggs sunny side up, pickled onion, smokey tomato relish and milk bun. There's an array of pastries and cookies to choose from as well including lip smacking good Butterbing Cookie Sandwiches. One of the best cafes in Sydney CBD.
I. M.
Love these guys. It's professional and clinical for the corporate world but they understand hospo and a friendly attitude. Vegan cookies believe it or not were amazing
L.
Nice flavoured coffee and good location near Wynyard station. They provide fast survice and pastry as well:) My fav pastry is Almond croissants(crispy and berryjam in it!!)
b. s.
The best lunch bowl i ever had in sydney! A high end food quality, the bowl was so rich, balanced and healthy! Amazing ingredients mixture that will make your tastebuds crave for more!
A great value for money and the staff is very nice and friendly, the shop is quite busy but they'll make you feel comfortable and enjoying your meal!
Definetly coming back!
R. L.
Really good coffee and healthy lunch options, a rare find in the CBD. A great place to get away from the rush outside
梓.
Very stylish cafe located at a convenient location, a little bit crowded during the the workday lunchtime. The service was good, and efficient . Nice environment for lunchtime chat & rest.
Coffee is very rich and testes great. Like this style.
C. K.
Popular Cafe with office people at lunchtime. Coffee smooth but not hot enough. Used the table QR code to order. It worked well.
Tables small for 2 people eating lunch together, but squeezed everything on.
We definitely come back.
K. T.
Love the coffee, love the seats, the chicken bagel is amazing. Busy and cramped but fun and really good service.
D. P.
Love this coffee shop! Coffee is always good and interior is amazing. Big queues on mornings.
W. L.
Great coffee, enjoyed the wagyu kimchi and cheese bagel! Just wish it’d been toasted!
A. P.
Amazing coffee, friendly staff, extremely quick service, had the NY Bagel, it was one of the best bagels I had, definitely worth a visit
J.
Really nice coffee. Definitely some of the best in the Sydney CBD. Highly recommended.
R. M. G.
A well-known hole in the wall place for office workers rushing a much needed caffeine hit.
Y. L.
The coffee is alright. But this bagel is amazing!!! Crunchy outside soft inside 😉 Perfect!
s. a.
Regiment is close to Martin place and very buzzing during the weekdays ,churning amazing coffee. The staff is very friendly and courteous despite being absolutely busy during the peak hours.
I normally order ahead and never had to wait ,that’s how good they are with the service.
V. B.
Great coffee, a wide variety of pastries and healthy lunch options. Good option s for vegetarians.
S.
If this is what people call good service, I feel sorry for the service you have received. Asked for a minor change to breakfast, which was adding gluten free bread, which they advertise as having, and was told sorry they cannot do it. Is this cafe from the 1980s??
M. L.
Best beard... uh I mean coffee, in Sydney. Fantastic filtered coffee made by true craftsmen of the industry. Thank you
A. H.
One of the best cafes in the CBD if you want a filter coffee! Ample outdoor seating too.
K. T.
Fantastic coffee and good service is always a winning combo ;) The central CBD location is a cherry on top, though can get cramped in peak times.
M. E.
Coffee was very good when it finally arrived at my table. Unfortunately I saw 4-5 people order after me and receive their takeaway coffees before mine was eventually delivered to my table. There was no huge takeaway queue so I couldn't understand why they were prioritised over me?!?! 🤷♂️
Although the coffee was delicious, I'm not sure it was worth the premium price given the service. 🤔 Maybe in the future I'll only drop by for a takeway, which seems to be faster and cheaper than dining in.
M. S.
Super convenient location out on the George Street - works well as their coffee is worth the time/walk & food is good too!
Off late, I have started loving their cold brew with the candied orange. It has that delicious after taste that makes you crave for it even more :)
D. K.
I’ve been getting my coffee here since it opened. The consistency is unbelievable. Delicious coffee and food, extremely well run, very efficient staff with added banta which I find hilarious. Great experience each day, check it out!
J. P.
Get in before the rush. Good food, coffee and service. Not much room though.
C. -.
Salad bowls are very good and prices are in line with city prices. We got the pumpkin and the broccoli bowls. Coffee here is great too! You either need to get here before 12 or after 1.30 to get a seat, it gets very crowded quite quickly!
L. T.
Wagyu beef bagel was spicy and good!
M. T.
Great service and really good food. The salad bowls and bagels are excellent, service is quick even when they're busy.
B. F.
Continues to provide great coffee and service. Also, ahead of other cafes with very good COVID safety measures in place for staff and its customers. Well done!
J. P.
My fave cafe in cbd 9-5. Awesome lunch bowls, sandwiches and sweets. Consistently exceptional coffee and blood orange soft drink a must when dining in. Clean food, ample portions, modern decor and great servers (Jess and Kimmie)
A. O.
Amazing food and service. Staff were very friendly but a particular shout out to Amy. She is a true asset to your team. Will be back for sure!
E. W.
As if Regiment isn't one of the best coffee joints in the CBD.
They have a great service, a groovy vibe, an awesome team, great coffee (and not just the beans - the way it's made) and brilliant croissants. Buttery and fluffy like they should be.
L. M.
It's not even a slight exaggeration to say that since I started getting my coffee here a week ago, the quality of my mornings has improved MASSIVELY - morning coffee is no longer a fix, it's an actual treat that I really look forward to. Love love love your coffee and your lovely staff!
k. a.
Good coffee, great service. No syrups, as per the guy in there the coffee is already good so we dont need syrups. Like thier confidence and quality equally well. Would have given 5 but sitting place isnt plenty and too noisy with adjacent road, not so great location for outside professional meetings.
T. M.
Great coffee and service - I’ve yet to try the food but it looks excellent! I especially recommend their cold brew, it’s served with a slice of dried orange and is just perfection.
S. G.
Love the fit-out and the coffee is up there as the best around the CBD!. Thought I better update my previous review, the doughnuts are to die for and the lobster roll is insane. The cheese toastie is also pretty damn great.
W. W.
Highly overrated hipster hangout. People working here obviously think their food and drinks are excellent. I'm sorry to say, they are not. Have had milk tea here, insipid. Milk coffee, acceptable - not burnt and nice blend/roast, but NOTHING exceptional. Had breakfast/snacks here. Avo mash toast bread is overly crusty and thick - that is, you get a mouthful of bread with your avo. On the positive side the bread was nice. The muffins taste weird and are too sweet. Service is ok but overall I find value for money average at best. Yet people still flock - good for them. That said, I've been to places where much worse ingredients are used. Thus, 3 stars instead of 2.
S. M.
The food at Regiment is EXCELLENT but for anything take-away, their packaging is so excessive it's a real turn off. This morning I ordered gluten free toast, which was fantastic, but as you can see, it came in a very durable cardboard tray, lined with grease paper, in a paper bag with a napkin. They did not butter the toast liberally so there was no need for the grease paper or the tray. Next time I will have to eat there to skip all the packaging. Please Regiment, you don't need to package your baked goods like this unless they are oozing with melted cheese.
Cannot give 5 stars due to this issue.
S. G.
The best coffee in the Wynyard Martin Place area of the city. Friendly and efficient staff add to the experience. Great salads and a good food selection displayed in the custom built joinery make this a great experience. A clever fitout for those interested in cafe design!
M. B.
Sydney's best breakfast and coffee place in the city. They use the absolute best machines, housing 2 Synessos with Vitoria Arduino grinders. The decor is simple yet beautiful. Come in for breakfast or just to get a perfect coffee to start your day.
A. B.
Great coffee and clean food options.
It was wad hard to get a table for breakfast, so allow a little time, but the wait was worth it.
Vegan and vegetarian menu options were available.
Y.
Despite being tucked at a corner of George Street, the chic decor of this cafe immediately stands out - and boy does it live up to the curiosity that might lure your feet to its door. The coffee is superb, with a slightly lighter roast that makes it smoother than your average Sydney blend and just the right amount of milk in the flat whites to make sure it doesn't overpower the coffee's flavour. The food that you would find here is worth a shot as well, particularly the pulled pork sourdough and the lobster roll (more of an oversized lobster canapé to be honest). Expect a 10 mins wait for your food and coffee during the morning and lunch hours though as this gem has clearly been discovered by many of the caffeine hungry city dwellers.
L.
Had an awesome Ethiopian SO which was well balanced and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Will be back!
M. E.
The customer service was really good. I once ordered a coffee and bagel here and was accidentally double charged. The owner was very responsive to contact, refunded the charge and gave me a free coffee as well. Really nice place, great coffee definitely will go back again
B. C.
Awesome coffee! Nice staff! Definitely a go to.
s. p.
Fantastic friendly staff, quality food and great quantity. Really impressed by gestures by employees. Appreciate #team! #Keep make people morning happy!
A. P.
Fantastic filter and espresso offerings, a ton of the latest brewing gear and beans from Five Senses on offer. Food is also A+ - try any of their bread offerings, esp. the bagels or baguettes. Probably the Wynyard area's best cafe.
E. S.
This place deserves all it’s positive reviews. Best coffee, fab staff and the food is to die for. What they manage with an extremely small space is genius.
H. D.
Great coffee, amazing mushroom toasty and very friendly service.
It is on the expensive side for a cafe. But I do enjoy going there on the way to the office.
T. H.
Miso eggplant bowl is pick of a good bunch
E. M.
The most consistent coffee in the CBD. Used to go here every day for our brew- it’s quality. Can be a bit busy at peak hour though!
Z. D.
A cozy small cafe, polite staff
A. W.
Excellent design and good coffee, only far too cramped (detracting from the ambience) and a bit of a North Korea situation going on with their food. What's described as a 'crispy pork belly baguette with two sunny-side up eggs, tomato relish and house-made pickles' is in fact a bacon and egg roll with ketchup and onions. Head down the road to Walrus café for a tastier and more accurately described breakfast.
Edit: I take back everything I’ve said above. I’ve since revisited at least 300,000 more times and ordered properly (coffee and bagels are the way to go here). Country style service, raucous drawl and all. 300,000 gold stars and a lollypop. After posting this review, I am going to head to the wilderness to reevaluate my life and take a really hard look at the foolish views I once had.
i.
Beautiful coffee.
Good food. Many choices.
Good service.
Love the cafe style of Regiment.
Busy place but fast service.
T. W.
Brilliant coffee and super people. They even give you love for brining your reusable cup - 50c off if you BYO. Winning.
R.
One of the great coffee places in the city. Nice that it has a few tables and some space outside to wait too. Love the modern design too
S. J.
Best flat white in Sydney. Lines are always super long, I use Ritual to order in advance and then pick up.
M. K.
Excellent coffee and quick service. Just off George Street next to HSBC. Usually busy but definitely worth the wait.
K. C.
Very busy and chai latte not too great but their selection of sweets are fabulous! Try the choco chip cookie ❤️
A. S.
