We loved this gem! Absolutely delicious food and fantastic vego options. Reasonably priced and the friendliest customer service—just lovely. Both servers and the chef were so kind to our dog and toddler. Thanks so much—we’re visiting from the South Coast and your food and hospitality made us feel welcome to the area :)

What a great find on our way from seal rocks to Forster. Well worth the slight detour!! The chicken soup was amazing and my daughter loved the hamburger not to mention the chocolate thick shake. Lovely staff and amazing owner.

We ordered burgers and chips for take away, the staff was very friendly despite the high level of orders they were managing. I was looking forward to have that chicken burger that from the ingredients list sounds delicious but what I got was completely different, the bread was very dry, the chicken was cut into little pieces where some of them were only fat and the avocado was a sample difficult to find. Chips were good though.

Fortune intervened when we found this café for lunch on a road trip. My 16 year old son says it is up there with the best food that he has ever bought, and he has quite a back catalogue! Everything was tasty, fresh and cooked perfectly. The dog was chuffed with his tasty treat, it was such a lovely gesture. Wish you were closer!

Stumbled across this place while on a road trip and we were so glad we did. Great tasty food, I really appreciate the amount of vege options and my other half loved the burgers and sweet potato chips. Plus the ladies that work there are absolute gems, such lovely people. Highly recommended.

A group of us came in yesterday for lunch and coffee, and we got such amazing service! The owner is really friendly and warm, and the coffee is fantastic. The food was really awesome too, and we were so happy to see that there was a range of vegan and gluten free options. If you're looking for the best food, coffee and service in the area, look no further! This is your spot!

We read reviews before deciding where to go for breakfast and we couldn't be happier with our choice, the service was amazing the staff where so so lovely and thoughtful, the coffee was strong smooth and so tasty , the breakfast burger moonhammer couldn't fault it at all absolutely delicious and it fed 2 adults and if you go here you have to get the sweet potato fries!!! They are the best I've ever had !!!

What a fabulous little cafe. Great coffee and food for all - sensational vegan options! Very welcoming owner and staff who support local businesses when sourcing their supplies plus they aim for zero waste! Dogs also welcomed. You can't get better than that.

Worth a detour! We were going to grab a quick coffee in Boomerang beach but the queues were huge on the long weekend. Thankfully, we kept driving and stopped here. Coffee was really enjoyable (we’re melbournians so that’s a compliment and a half!), service was super friendly, portion sizes generous and food delish! Highly recommend a stop at this cozy joint 😃

Hugely popular during weekends and holidays with exceptionally good food ... but be prepared to wait. It’s preferable when the proprietors are there, not just the staff - it took over 45 minutes for a salad and hot chips outside the lunchtime rush, plus another time we collected a pizza which was incorrect and we couldn’t eat it (wrong topping), but we didn’t find out until we got home and they’d closed by then - rather frustrating but their pizzas are amazing so worth it when the order is correct! There is outdoor, covered seating if you wish to eat in, and delicious frozen take away dishes available.

Lovely little cafe, the service was so friendly! We really enjoyed the pumpkin soup special and don’t forget to get the donuts, they’re Dutch style (sugar coated, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside) soo Delicious!!!

We are Smiths Lake locals and just went today for an early lunch . Fresh and delicious food sensibly priced and the milkshakes just like you used to buy served in a metal cannister filled to the top . The staff were were very professional and certainly made you feel welcome and explained their food in detail . The place was super clean and lovely sitting out the front in the sunny alfresco . PS and its great that you now have chips ! We will be back .
