Came here for a casual brunch in the CBD area. Location is great, being only 2 mins from town hall station and being on Pitt St very close to all the malls etc. Stack was as expected, all ingredients cooked well and plated nicely, Spanish Skillet though, de-licous. Excellent service, very helpful, immediately came to assist us noticing that we were struggling with the straw provided in the large juice 🤣. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as not being too crowded meant getting seated straight away. Nice coffee, would definitelyome back!

Long wait for the mushroom omelette which is, basically, omelette on sourdough. Bread was toasted for too long. Service could be faster and more attentive. Luckily though, the dish tasted good, or maybe I was hungry.

Really happy with the standard here. We had the omelette with truffle mushrooms which was excellent. Their coffee is top notch also and would keep any “coffee snob” happy. The staff were friendly and accomodating so I highly recommend The Walrus.

Great place for brunch. Food was fresh and had good combination of texture and flavours. The cafe had lots of greens and had great ambience. Price wise, it was on the pricey side. Vegan breakfast was a small portion but costs $22.

There wasn’t anything I could fault. Omelette was huge, slightly oily but its so fluffy I don’t mind the oil. I added smashed avo and smoked salmon which were a little disappointing (in the serving and taste department). Coffee was good, they use Milk Lab Almond Milk. Total cost was $32 and I couldn’t finish.

Pleasant meal with attentive and friendly service. My husband had the big breakfast and I had the vegan breakfast. To be honest for the cost I was slightly disappointed that the vegan breakfast was much smaller in comparison to the big breakfast. Both breakfasts were tasty and fresh.

My first time visiting here was absolutely delightful! I called Saturday morning to book a table for my family and I and luckily they were able to reserve seats for us. The service was great they really listened to us when we asked to have our drinks (coffee, tea etc) with our food. And the food was BEYOND delicious! Would recommend and visit again!

So far this is the best cafe I’ve given found in Sydney. I walked in, it felt like I was in Melbourne! Friendly staff, great menu, great atmosphere. I think I might be in love. Be aware that it is a cashless cafe, so make sure you bring a card. Personally I haven’t used cash in Australia in four years!

Great little cafe with friendly staff in the heart of the CBD. $18 for avo on toast is a but far fetched but eggs on toast is far more reasonable at $10! Great coffee and a nice selection of pastries and prepared goodies to take with you if you don’t have time to sit down. Table service and card payments available.

Really nice cafe with lovely lunch options. The smoked salmon salad is legendary. Coffees are great as well. Relatively small so booking might be a wise thing to do. The potatoes in duck fat was the only let down - not crispy enough and an overdose of mayonnaise!

Walrus is a beautiful brunch cafe located in Sydney CBD. They have fantastic dishes, and you get what's described on the menu, so there won't be any unpleasant surprises. Ricotta pancake was heavenly, and I wouldn't share it with anyone.

This cafe caught my eye during my stay in Sydney. There's so many things I loved about it! It's so easily accessible in the busiest part of the CBD, within walking distance from Hyde Park and Pitt Street Mall, it's spacious with a really easy vibe- perfect for a Saturday brunch date in the city! The staff welcomed me as soon as I set foot inside and were so friendly and approachable. Food was delicious as well and not overpriced considering the cafe is in the middle of the city.

Had breakfast here on Friday. Went with the "Breakfast in Bread" which was quite different from your usual breakfast offerings - basically a sourdough roll hollowed out with ham, eggs, mushroom, tomato etc cooked inside. It was pretty good, but the ham was a little bit like a microwave pizza pocket though, could have benefited from a bt of a char before going in. The service was ok and the coffee was fine. I was a bit unimpressed by the price though - more than $40 for breakfast for two...I didn't think it was that good. Overall not bad, but no rush to go back

This cafe is located at a very strategic location. It appears that there are many different races sitting comfortably and enjoying the food served by gorgeous waitress of many backgrounds. I am a former Malaysian resident and a permanent resident of Australia 🇦🇺, I am a barrister/lawyer by Australian standards. I am not Muslim however as Malaysia is a multicultural country, I get along with everyone regardless of the race, background and culture of a person. Please visit this cafe. I just ordered the usual breakfast that I have at most cafes except for the blueberry soda drink. My go to cafe when I’m at the city. It offers an excellent menu but without the ‘restaurant’ prices. Coffee is good as well. My recommendation is the Cloudy Bay Clams spaghetti. Absolutely delicious (a little hot though). The cafe offers a good ambience as well. It’s perfect for groups of 4 although the cafe isn’t very big so it gets filled up fast.

Modern redesigned homey cafe is bright and clean with good food in the mid price range. All day breakfasts Fridays only. Monday to Friday cheaper take away or eat in food alternatives. Generous servings of food. Noisy when crowded because of building structure of concrete. Great service but can be slow when busy. Food is on the healthier side but some not so healthy choices available. Open Saturday's 8am to 3pm, weekdays 7am to 4pm. Good for tourists. Best cafe in an area of 300 metres all directions.

Fantastic food, great decor, great chef and good customer service. I have been coming here regularly for six months now. The waitress who is Canadian is Always so Welcoming and Always Smiling. I would give her a 10 out of 10 for customer service. The chef is fantastic too. However, the asian girl behind the counter where you pay who sometimes makes the coffee as well, is Consistently Rude! I dread dealing with her as she is always Rude and speaks in an abrupt tone of voice and very fast. Apart from that this is a fantastic cafe.

as per usual, i was sucked into this place by the wonderful decor and edgy look of the place. only popped in for a coffee as lunch had previously been devoured elsewhere, but it was on point. they had mini almond croissants at the till, it was rude not to surely? unfortunately, the croissant wasnt as good as expected, abit crusty (maybe a little old), but it goes back to that old saying of never judge a place on its almond croissant. food looked banging on the tables, so will be returning and updating then. ill be seeing you soon young padwan

Great-Friendly service - but is that redundant in Australia? Sure seems that way to this travelin American. I went there for breakfast and their freshly prepared sandwiches looked good for lunch - better than the ones at the QVB. I'll go there again tomorrow and try another one of their breakfasts, which range from traditional eggs, bacon and toast to shakshuka and eggplant bacon.

I stopped into The Walrus Cafe in the Sydney CBD and ordered myself the most beautiful smoothie from one of their friendly staff. Seems like a popular cafe because they had plenty of people dining in. I can understand why it’s very clean and it has a good atmosphere. Located on Pitt Street they definitely attract the customers. I never tried the food because I didn’t have time but I would have liked to.
