I've been buying coffee every day and the occasional lunch here since 2017 - they have never let me down, they're friendly and the coffee and food are always great value for money. Eat in or takeaway, it's always good ... my first coffee after being released from COVID-19 lockdown tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it :)

Love this little cafe. A quaint place with a rather lovely atmosphere. Service was good and food presentation was good to. I would go back again and happy to recommend it to others.

Quality coffee/lunch and super accommodating crew > I work nearby and often come here for my coffee and lunch fix. I loved the coffee and they also remember my order whenever I go which is super nice and easy for me, especially when there is a long queue out there. When it comes to the lunch, oh yes, this place is the absolutely go-to canteen for me, where I had tried (more than once on each) all their vegetarian dishes on the menu, pad kee mao, green / red curry, spicy nasi goreng, pad thai, tom yum and laksa, just to name a few. I keep going back not only because of the food, but also the way they accept my BYO bowl and add generous amount of the fresh veggies. The photos were taken on my work desk and I deeply enjoy the food without being packaged. The bonus point of taking the bowl back to office is that people keep asking where did I get it from. There you go The York Street Eatery!

This place is a nice little café, that is open quite early in the morning, so it’s nice for an early breakfast on the way to work. I had the ham and cheese croissant, they take the time to open it up to toast it so the middle is nice and hot too. At first I didn’t realise where the cheese had gone, but I subsequently noticed that it had been melted into the croissant in the middle. Good friendly service

Wonderful experience at The York Street Eatery. My husband called in for a coffee and sat by the window just before closing time. When he left he also left his mobile on the table!!!! You can only imagine how thrilled🤗 we were when we called The York Street Eatery the next morning and they let us know they had my husband's phone and it was there ready to collect. Picked it up that day - absolutely brilliant!! Thankyou for your care, honesty and a pick me up afternoon coffee before a meeting. Much appreciated!!

Small, low-key joint, nothing fancy. I had the green curry which was super tasty and served in nice ceramics with a generous dose of white rice for $12.95. For a fast-food, affordable option, this was great.
