I had wonderful visit! Barista super friendly and lovely to answer my silly questions and staff (tall boy ) very kind and gentle , I can feel a lot of good energy in this place , will def come again , btw the milk art is made by soy cappuccino so it’s not easy , appreciate barista put heart into it and make it beautiful

Great coffee served by beans from Campos. It s not like coffee u get served quick and fast. Your barista would take time to make your coffee the satisfying! Seats r comfortable and spacious too.

Would have to say for Surry Hills I would rate this now as average. Sorry no offence but used to be a great cafe! Don t like pre prepared salads but I was in a hurry so chose the chicken salad and the Campos coffee was a weak blend! Just because a cafe advertises using Campos doesn't mean it will be an excellent coffee!

I rocked up as I had an meeting along this place and pretty much liked the ambience and the whole decor of the place. The coffee was great as they use Campos beans and I have had a serious liking to this coffee bean 🤪Next time I will get in there for some breakie if I am in the area as I did see some people having a good one 😛

Best Cafe in this pocket of Surry Hills to have a working break. Plenty of space and good coffee/food. Only small snag is the same playlist that's been on rotation for at least 5 years, "I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby..."

We've only been here for a week but been here for brunch twice already. The eggs are the best things that's ever happened to me, the avocado is nice that I'd like to mash it up and put it all over my body. The service is GOOD, 10/10 I would come back again.

This is a regular haunt when I'm in Surry Hills. The coffee is well made and the service swift and polite. The food is always well presented and fresh. Some of the delicacies made on the premises are delicious. There is an interesting variety of choices on the menu - I particularly enjoy the French toast or scrambled eggs for breakfast.

This has become my go to place for breakfast when in Sydney. Great coffee and a variety of breakfast options, particularly the vegetarian ones (I recommend the corn fritter). Friendly and attentive staff.

Went to toast after it being recommended by so many people. I don't know if I just got the 'lunch rush hangover' but the coffee wasn't great & tasted a bit watery. Also $4 for a small coffee & $1 for a single piece of biscotti... you get better for your money at Single O across the road

I had a really great experience at Toast. It's located amongst the rag trade and fashion suppliers in the heart of Surry Hills, which further adds to the ambience. Delicious green juices, eggs with chilli jam and good sourdough toast makes this a staple for me. Great service and very happy folk all round.

I went to Toast for lunch today. I had a linguine dish with prawns, chilli, garlic, lemon, capers and zucchini, which was delicious. One friend I was with had the wagyu burger and gave it rave reviews. The other had the Thai beef salad which was exceptionally dry. She asked for some more dressing and was initial told that was probably not possible, but was eventually brought a tiny dish of dressing - probably about 1-2 tablespoons, for a really big salad that seemed to not have any dressing on it to begin with. That aside, the food was otherwise delicious and the service was pretty good. Very reasonably priced. I like the flowers and plants inside - very cool. I would go back again.

I really enjoy the coffee of the cafe and their breakfast menu. The cafe provides a wonderful feeling as part of the neighbourhood, and is a good place for catching up with friends or having some quiet time alone.

Simple salads and relatively cheap salads with good breakfast and lunch options. Sometimes the wait is a bit longer during lunch times. Good place if you want to sit down to eat around this area during lunch.

This is my daily cafe, it has the best cafe mocha in sydney. The salads are great especiialy the wagyu beef salad., This is a must for anyone in the surry hils area. Great cakes as well for afternoon tea especially the flourless oraange cake. The best cafe in surry hills!!!!
