Comments of Two Penny Blue

Thanks for being open a bit later and having coldbrew. Needed this today.

Coffee is really good, especially the mocha - actual melted chocolate as opposed to the stuff they serve at Gumption. Food is really good too - quite like the pesto chicken zaatar, goes well with a coffee! Staff are really nice to chat to as well - recommended!

Pretty and hidden cafe in Martin place, coffee is great and i love brownies here.

I have never had a bad coffee and don’t think I ever could! Best coffee in Martin Place hands down.
Everyone who work there is lovely especially Emma! Highly recommend is you want great coffee and always fresh food!

The coffee is okay - a bit acidic for my palate (good if you like Campos) but I understand this is subjective. I visit this place for their English muffins but it's unlikely I'll visit again as their staff are generally rude and miserable - I don't want that negativity in my life. Today, after ordering, one of their staff rolled the food trolley over my toes. Everyone present at the time saw this, including their manager but I wasn't apologised to once nor was it acknowledged. Sydney is bustling with good food and coffee so Two Penny Blue are going to have to step up to survive in this market.

Decent coffee at a hideyhole in Martin place, muffins are also pretty good but the wrap bread was a little too herby for my taste.

Nice little coffee / breakfast place built into the side of the historic GPO building (on Pitt Street side right off Westin entrance). Good coffee (Colombian beans which I believe are the some of the best in the world) and nice/quick breakfast options to go. No seating available so grab a coffee and bite and head over to Martin Place for a place to sit. Overall nothing stands out about Two Penny Blue but worth trying for their breakfast options

Very nice coffee.
Update 29/11/16: So today I bought a small strong cappuccino each from Gumption (Strand arcade), Two Penny Blue (Westin hotel) and Batch (near corner of Pitt and Hunter streets).
Batch has the strongest flavour and a bit of acidity, and I think it was the best among the three.
Two penny blue's has very little acidity and was slightly sweet without adding sugar, and the flavour is weaker than Batch.
Gumption, although having a bug hype, was the weakest, and it lacks flavour, aroma, acidity, and texture. It feels very watered down.

Good little coffee place. Can get busy with the work crowd. Get the Hey You app and order ahead. They do some really nice wrap as well.

Lovely people and coffee (though it’s on the milkier side)

Literally the nicest mocha I've ever had. They use real melted chocolate as opposed to cocao powder .
