Great little cafe, I can definitely recommend it for a breakfast stop! The bacon and egg rolls were great with a super soft bun and perfectly cooked ingredients and the coffee was nice too. The staff were also quick when we arrived, super accommodating to our party including kids and just all around really nice. Great customer experience 🙂

When you arrive at a cafe by following the paw prints, welcomed by a cat face pillow & laughing cat floor sticker, you know it’s going to be good! Friendly service, great gluten free museli & good coffee. Indoor & outdoor seating. Please be kind to staff in these Covid times.

We came here on a cool Friday morning shortly after opening at 0800. The staff was super friendly and quick to assist us in getting seated. We choose outside as we had 2 kids and it was difficult to keep masks on them. The menu is simple, but the benefit of that is that the items they do are absolutely brilliant. I had an omelette and added bacon and hash browns, my partner had eggs and toast with added bacon, tomatoes and hash browns, and the kids had the kids pancakes. This was the best breakfast from our week long stay in the Shelly Beach area and I highly recommend the restaurant for people with or without kids. The portions were HUGE so keep that in mind when asking for extras. My omelette had to have had 4 or 5 eggs in it, there was tons of cheese, I got so much bacon that I couldn't shake a fork at. My kids got pancakes that !come with ice cream! and sprinkles that I now have to do on pancakes at home. Both of the adult meals came with these huge pieces of sourdough that were delicious and I just can't say enough about, and I regret not getting a loaf before leaving. Finally, let's talk about the flat whites that we got. They were fantastic. I lost my espresso machine almost a year ago and this coffee was the welcome respite in a land of instant coffee. I can't wait to visit again, maybe for lunch next time. 11/10, cannot recommend enough.

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to this quirky little cafe. All of our meals tasted great and came out super fast and the coffee and drinks were top notch. Really liked all the interesting artwork dotted around the place as well. 6 stars from all of us!

Fantastic Cafe, the food and service was impeccable. We stopped here on our way to Wyong and were greeted by the friendly staff at the door. Our order was brought to the table in such a short time we were both surprised how good the service was. I loved the coffee here and there was so many options for my coffee fix. I loved the atmosphere and artwork. Even the music was a sensible volume with a nice beach summer vibe play list. I loved the smell of their coffee in the air. Would 100% recommend!

What a lovely gallery & cafe with lots of charm! I had Egg Benedict with sesame bread & smoked salmon, which was super delicious! OMG frappe(orange, mix berries, ginger root frappe) was also nice and I love it! There is nice outside seating on the street. Highly recommended. Thank you, Yuko. Stay safe and see you soon!

This family owned cafe makes the best Cappuccinos in Australia! We had lunch at the cafe and I've teied the vegetarian burger which was delicious! The bun was soft and all the ingredients were fresh and well prepared! We will definitely come back and try some desserts!

Came in a few days ago after a disgruntled experience at several other cafes who could not offer me oat milk, Usui Cafe went above and beyond for me delivering the best coffee i’ve had in a while. The bubbly cashier with the glasses was so attentive to my needs and made me feel very welcome. I will be back.

Great little cafe with a nice view of The Entrance waterfront. This cafe has wonderful service and excellent food and coffee. With a menu to satisfy even the fussiest of us. Due to lockdown we can’t visit at the moment but we always buy their coffee in bulk we are about to run it so rang to see if I could get some mailed to me. They could not have been more helpful and have priority mailed it to me I am beyond grateful their coffee is the best ever the beans are beautiful. I don't understand why this gorgeous cafe isn't more busy. Ordered 2 B&E rolls today and 2 coffees. Service was super quick and friendly. B&E's were AMAZING. Super soft potato bun, maple bacon, fried egg and hollandaise sauce. Cannot recommend this little gem more.

I really enjoyed this cafe. Polite staff, big parking lot across the rd with zebra crossing and wheelchair accessible ramp entry. Accessible toilet next to car park. Also, a VERY tasty very spicy chai latte, definitely know what they are doing. Attractive interior and close to beautiful beach views.

The Asian waitress was pretty short with us when we enquired about the meals. The burgers were ok, just pretty dry. Iced Coffee was great. Chai latte way too strong. Watermelon drink with mint was lovely. Bit pricey for what we got.

Tried this lovely friendly little cafe for breakfast on our first day in The Entrance and it was so good we went back every day. The coffee was well made & creamy, impressing my husband who is a big a Melbourne coffee drinker. The scrambled egg was tasty & moist, the pancakes were beautifully fluffy & the eggs benedict very tasty, the side order of mushrooms looked simple but was really tasty! If you are looking for a breakfast cafe option, you’ve found it here!

My pork Katusi dish and chips were very tasty, the coffee was good . But my partners salmon omelet was a bit under par , not much care in plating or executing this dish , thin over cooked egg , plain looking no plate presence or garnishes. We will be back but we hope for more care . The owner was very pleasant but the server seemed a bit confused .
