The place was not very packed for Easter Sunday, so I managed to get a table upstairs with a nice view. Had to clean the table myself... Waiting time was OK (not too long, but not fast either. The Hawaiian burger (picture attached) was very delicious and packed with all the right flavours. Unfortunately the fries was way too dry, hence 4 stars in this review. My dish cake was without any sauce, so I had to request a ketchup separately. Still, good place to visit

Bit late on the review as I thought I’d done it earlier. Went there in November 2021. Service when we arrived was great. Four people standing round doing nothing much which we thought was fair as it wasn’t quite the lunch rush yet. Got upstairs and two of the tables had not been cleaned away and had birds pecking away at left overs. Two orders arrived before ours even though they came after us and one of them was incorrect. If it hadn’t been for the fact the meal itself when it finally arrived was fantastic, it probably would have been a two star visit. Hopefully it’s picked up since then because the food itself is great

Absolutely amazing food! Perfect portion sizes. The tenders are nice and big and have amazing flavour on them without needing sauce. Could have done with some sauce for the Dagwood dogs, however maybe we were meant to order it. The thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the atmosphere, generic tables and chairs. Could really give the place some character and make it a cool place to hang out and eat. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here 🤤

The hulk was meaty bliss and really filling. The Ozzie (without egg) was absolutely delicious, and the caramelised onion was to die for. Jalapeno poppers weren't very spicy and tasted kinda pickled but I would eat them again. Mozzarella sticks where yummy and that cheese pull was brilliant.

Came here on during Fringe, but wasn't very busy as a Sunday (maybe about 5 tables seated). Ordered a burger in a meal with drink a sweet potato fries. Friend ordered burger, drink, and a serve of wings. When the girl read the order back she said "fries" not specifying sweet potato, so I clarified that she had it right and I was reassured that it was. After ordering I looked at the receipt and saw 2x serves of wings were charged and both of the burgers had been made into a meal, so I had to get them to fix it. At this time, going over what was meant to be in the order, I once again specified sweet potato fries which they confirmed. When food arrived, guess what - 2 serves of standard fries, and not sweet potato. She then seemed to think the SP fries were on top of the other fries, and seemed very confused that we didn't want the "normal" ones at all. The food was mostly good. Burgers were excellent, and the buffalo wings were also pretty tasty, despite the fact that they didn't actually come with any sauce and we had to ask them for the buffalo sauce, which came out in a little plastic dipping tub and had the consistency of thick aioli? So instead of the sauce being on the wings, we had to spread it over them ourselves. Unfortunately the infamous sweet potato fries were also not great. Very thick pieces that meant they weren't cooked all the way through. Thankfully, they were very nice about everything, it was just hard having to constantly go back and get things fixed. Also as a side note, I try and dine in where possible so as to reduce use of unnecessary disposable containers, but everything here came in them anyway. The sauce for the wings and the fries were in little plastic pots, the burgers in a cardboard tray and the fries in a separate plastic chip cup. It would have been nice to have it served on something they would wash and reuse, or at the very least have the chips in the same tray so less is being used.

We were so hungry, and we wanted to find a place we havent seen or heard of before. When we got to this we were quite excited! We had quite a roller-coaster of thoughts coming here; Beautiful! Location is perfect (how haven't we seen this before) and for 12noon, being empty, it's the easiest YES of the day. Come in, sit down and they hand out their great and easy to read menu. But ordering on the app was pretty bad. Quite a few options not on the app as the menu said. Wanted a caramel thickshake, couldn't select one in app. (I know I couldve asked the staff, but they were busy with the now influx of customers and the drinks deliveries coming in) And when i saw the option to buy a 1.25L bottle for $4.50 i wanted it! Because the 600ml option was $5.80.. but again couldn't order what I wanted on the app. I also ordered a Bundaberg, which isn't overly helpful for staff because Bundaberg do a variety of drinks. Food was great! Really tasty chips, bit of spice was really nice. It was a fresh, hot burger! And the pickles were probably the best pickles I've tasted! I don't want to say anything negative about the speed the food came out, probably 20 minutes, which is fine, it's not fast food and it's great quality. I'm just sorry to say, I didn't get that wow factor, I don't have a reason to come back. Thanks for a nice lunch

Not so late dinner 25022022, fringe festival in full swing. Service with a smile had the chicken wrap ... It was soooo good, one of the best I've tasted. Had a the right amount of mild chili sauce, which left a slight warming on the lips. Asked for small chips and that's what you get, small bucket, but also withe the wrap or burger, is just enough. Will definitely be going back 👍

Staff are very nice and friendly. Burgers were tasty. Side of chips was a bit light on but overall food was enjoyable. Unfortunately, wait times were way too long. We were a group of four. Three ordered burgers and one ordered a hot dog. When we came in and ordered there were only three other tables. We waited about half an hour for our burgers to come out and the hot dog didn't come out until the rest of us had all finished our food. Restaurant itself was also slightly grubby and could've used a wipe down and the toilets were gross. So gross I passed on using them and went elsewhere to use the bathroom.

I had a great burger - the Ozzie - do NOT get pineapple as the sweet mayo and beetroot is more than enough. The food was very well presented, tasted great and fast service (although I was the only one there). Personally I wanted a bit more savory flavour but I'm impressed overall and would go back for something different. A surprise was the fries - very very good and cooked to order. A lot of places have poor fries versus burgers but not Yankees - don't skimp the fries and try them out!!!

Average. I've had worse and this wasn't too bad. Room for improvement. Burger was warm not hot. Pictures in the place raise the expectations too high for what you actually get. Wine was from a bottle that had been open too long but was happily exchanged for a fresh one. Would be great if they had grilled chicken rather than chicken patties.

One of the best American burger i ever has since while. I ordered yankees special and my partner had tropicsl hawain with the side of jalapino poppers and thickshakes. Amazing burgers and thick shakes. Very good ambience. After conversation with their friendly staff, they have another branch already open at mile end and two more locations is on the way. Have been to Grill’d and Betty’s Burgers, both of which have branches nearby but this place kills it! The burgers come with a side of seasoned fries, which I didn’t realise when I ordered, and they were crunchy on the outside and well-seasoned, while fluffy on the inside - perfect! The burger - a cheeseburger - was well-sized for the price and was cooked to perfection. This shop has only just opened but if they keep up the quality, they will run rings around the other two local burger chains! Well done!

Great tasting burgers, affordable price BUT sizes are slightly smaller in comparison to other nearby burger joints. One major problem is how long they take to make them; expect a long waiting time. Great southern fried chicken burger, he keep in mind burger sizing is smaller than local competitors but a great burger nonetheless. Fries also awesome! Mauli was fantastic, she looked after me always with a smile and a can-do attitude. Highly recommended for a pre-flick feed!
