Glad we spotted The Burger Pit! Excellent food with very generous servings. My partner said it was the best burger he's ever had (The Southerner) & I had the New Yorker Hot Dog & it was delicious! Will definitely be returning!

Owner is weird but the staff and food are AMAZING!!!! Really fun an laid-back venue. Our friends and family have told us that from now on when they go to a wedding they are gonna ask 'Where are the burgers?'. Alot of our guest were too full to even dance but went back for seconds.

This place was empty at 1:00pm on a Sunday so i wasnt sure if it that was a good sign, i looked at a few reviews and they convinced me to give it a go, im sooo glad i did because the burgers were AMAZING and the fries were crunchy and so fresh, the service was great too !!

Came here on a crazy busy public holiday with only two guys working (one on till and kitchen, the other just kitchen.) they were absolutely slammed but keeping smiles on their faces and food coming out in really great time. Would recommend coming here 😌

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten!!! The Blue Moo was absolutely stunning! Ok the price is a bit on the high side, but at least it was a brilliant burger! The chips were as good as well, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Well done guys!

Wow - If I had a few days to live I would come here for one of my last meals ! These aren’t burgers…. they are religious experiences. Juicy, inventive, piled high and full of flavour and quality ingredients ! Fast, friendly service too / it all leaves a smile on your face and your taste buds singing sweet tunes . Ps Try the Blue Moo if you like blue cheese it’s sooo darn good ! Chicken Parmy is as good as your imagining . Get in there !

Decided to try Burger Pit in Montville today. I am speechless. The burger patty was beautifully caramelised, well seasoned and still pink in the middle. Easily the most tender patty i have ever had in my life and i eat alot of burgers for lunch as a tradie travelling around constantly. They were quite busy but i only had to wait around 5mins for my burger. These boys really know there stuff i will 100% be coming back 👍😍

The Burger Pit located off the main street of Montville offers an excellent menu of burgers. I was lucky enough to have the Mexican burger & my wife had the No Fuss burger, both great value for the money we paid. This business has been in Montville for a number of years, but this was our first opportunity to stop off & try one of their burgers. Great Customer Service, plenty of adequate seating was available on the day. Definitely worth the visit to Montville on our driving tour of the Hinterland on the Sunshine Coast.

Super tasty burgers. Strawberry thick shake is a must have. Prompt service, ample seating outside. The queues can get very long and all the food items may not be served at the same time. So that can be a bit annoying since my partner was waiting with the food in front of her and I was waiting for the food. But a nice place anyway, especially the seating in the shade on a sunny afternoon.

Just yummy! Think about juicy and delicious burgers... we just had the piri piri chicken and the blazer burger and no regrets! Pretty generous portions , very juicy and messy to eat, as any good burger should be. The chicken one was made of a not dry at all chicken breast, well seasoned and delicious. The beef one was beautiful cooked medium, pink in the middle and juicy. All the other ingredients tasted pretty fresh and well seasoned as well. Toasted buns crispy but soft at the same time. We had also onion rings, good sized portion, however a bit too oily, it was good, but wouldn’t recommend this one (not a problem bad enough to take out one star though). Prices are pretty reasonable. Service is friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you feel like having a good burger and we would definitely come back.

Second time I have been and unfortunately it missed the mark. Only two staff on made for a decent wait. Didn't make sense considering it was Saturday and school holidays. Burgers were average. We paid $71 for 3 burgers, 1 chips, 1 onion rings, a coke and a beer.. At that price the food needed to be better. One of the burgers was the mini moo which is the smallest burger they have. It does not suit kids. They should have a kids meal option. Sliders, Hot dog, small chips?? Won't rush back there.

This place is interesting. They have delicious food, quite possibly the best burger I've ever had but very expensive. They have also just raised the prices and reduced the portions. The staff know me and my mates by name and know exactly what I want. The restaurant is cool and they have a nice atmosphere. They are only open for four days a week and a proximately 4 hours a day. That's not what they advertise though and I have heard so many people say that they've wanted to go here but they are never open.

Went to burger pit today with my boyfriend and I normally have trouble going to burger joints because I’m a vegetarian. The burger I got was amazing and had extremely fresh ingredients it was amazing and I normally find veggie patties to be unsatisfying so I was super happy to find they offered burgers with just straight produce. All in all I loved it, the staff were very friendly and funny and had amazing character to them. Will definitely be coming back 🙂

Heard great things from a friend so was keen to try it out. Sadly it disappointed. Burger buns were toasted, but more on the charcoal side, so just seemed really dry. The chicken was slightly overcooked which would've been more easily forgivable if the bun itself wasn't also dry. The chips were also a bit overcooked. Considering the meal cost me north of 25 bucks for burger fries and coke, I did expect more than a meal where it seemed like they got distracted and left it all to cook for too long. Sad to say.

I must say its really good burger but WAY too expansive IMO. Almost 20bucks per burger in average. Price need to reduce by 20-30% for 5 star 15-20% for 4 star. Shame but if you can afford it try it. ;)

Great burger place for anyone who's hungry or a burger enthusiasts like me. After a long hike, this was it. Gourmet burgers, lots of places to sit, very good chips, reasonable price. - You don't really find this type of food places around these areas.

Probably only the ones of home made Australian shops if you consider the city should be Australian artisans with made in Australia finally it Is full of Chinese crap selling products. This is not the burger bar you expect to find in a sleepy little mountain village, it's the sort of place you would expect to find in the most cosmopolitan areas in the city center. That aside I had the Blue Moo and added bacon and (big call coming) I'm pretty sure it was the best burger I've ever had.

Do your self a favour guys this place is an absolute hidden gem on the sunshine coast get in your car and head to Montville and have the best Chili I have ever had in Australia, I lived In the United states and attend chili tasting comps and this chilli is on par with Texas and that's saying something, also the burgers are better then any of the big chain's I had a parmy burger and was fresh tasty and big best burgers on the coast with out a doubt, I will be making sure to spread the word of this amazing place in Montville on the sunshine coast.
