At the beast you’ll find the usual selection of creatively tilted burgers, what sets this place apart is the quality of ingredients & atmosphere. The staff are friendly, willing and able to accommodate for any dietary requirements. Loved the vibe and music choice, the general interior design of the place is also really enjoyable for those looking to sit down. The service is as quick enough that this would be a great take away choice too, definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good burger in the CBD!

Had the Ron Swanson burger with double patty. Disappointed in its size vs price. Doesn't do the name Ron Swanson justice, if you ever seen Parks and Rec. Plenty of other burger joints really satisfy the size. If you're a big eater, double patty and fries won't fill you up. Great tasting though but a little messy, the gruyere cheese is amazing however.

Amazing food and drinks! One of the best burgers we’ve ever had! The fries was perfectly crunchy and you won’t be able to resist having more. The pouttine was good too. The frose was awesome! Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful. 5/5!

Not bad. Patty was thin. Thought it be thicker coz it's wagu and cost abit. Sauce yummy but sloppy serve, all over burger and dripping everywhere. Saw servers mixing cocktails. Looked nice.

Excellent menu, with veg and vegan options. We had tater tots and buffalo cauliflower which were both excellent. One of the few places we could find which had the kitchen open after 10pm on a Friday night - never used to be an issue in Melbourne but you can see the struggle for staff is obvious after covid. They were SUPER busy because of this (and some bad weather chasing people in off thr street), we came in just before a big rush luckily and our food came pretty quickly. We also ordered cocktails, they have a late happy hour I think it was 9-11pm. The drink far exceeded my expectations, the poor fellow making drinks was PUMPING them out but my God they all looked fantastic. The wait was longer for our drinks, but understandably with just 1 bar staff making high quality, shaken cocktails in a busy period. I'd rate 4 stars in another life because there was a wait for drinks and no napkins on tables - the staff were so flat out it was virtually impossible to flag anyone down to ask for napkins either, but in this climate none of these seem like deadly sins. At least we found somewhere that was open, serving good food and incredible drinks.

I’ve always passed by this shop whenever I am in the city, and was curious to find out how their burger is. So, on a quiet Wednesday afternoon, I walked in and was greeted by a friendly staff. I ordered the Clint Beastwood – Southern fried chicken fillet, jack cheddar, McClure’s pickles, lettuce, honey mustard BBQ. They have special daily offers, and since I was there on Wednesday, I availed their $1 Wings all day offer. The burger was nice & light, the fried chicken was well seasoned and crispy. I loved the wings as well! Nothing messy about this place. Straightforward food and special offers! Definitely coming back to try more of their burgers & their other daily offers.

This is quite literally the best burger I've ever had. Double Ron Swanson with small chips is a winning combo it's not a cheap burger but it is extremely good 2nd time trying it holds up probably better than the first time

Okay. I couldn't praise this place more. I went there last night and I will be the first to admit that my dietary requirements make everything complicated. they have a LOT of new staff and coupled with it being late, and noisy, some things I said got lost in understanding and I got brought the wrong thing 5 times. A Mac cheese thing instead of tater tots. And my bunless burger was wrong four times. It's so easy to get frustrated and angry about it, I get it. The mistakes meant I waited way longer than normal. However, the focus for me is the staff and the way they handled it. They were so lovely, kind, apologetic and embarrassed. They didn't need to be, but they graciously were. I appreciated them, the way they managed it, and the food, as always at Brunswick and CBD, was delicious. Thank you so much. I am grateful for the extra touch even though it wasn't necessary. Classy classy.

WooOoo!! The B.EAST is now in the city! Treating the city dwellers to that Beast Special Sauce and McClure's Pickles on their burgers. The Poutine's also to die for, overloaded with cheese, gravy and seasoning. ...and I've not even mentioned the drinks menu. Sure to satisfy that hunger.

Great burger joint with craft beer and cocktails. The burgers have interesting names - Filthy - is wagyu patty with cheddar, lettuce, pickle and a spicy sauce - great combination. The southern fried chicken wings is another hit - crispy, salty skin with moist tender flesh - perfect with craft beer.

All the food we had was delicious, it was all fresh and didn’t feel like it was oily when eating. We also had the chicken tenders on the side with the burgers and it was seasoned very well. This place never disappoints. Yummy chips and even more yum cocktails. The happy hours here and the frozen margaritas are probably the cheapest and best quality I’ve found in the cbd. The staff are always lovely and happy too. Will be a regular here for sure!!

Went there on Saturday night craving for burger, end up staying until they close. Great burger and great drink. The super junior is absolutely AMAZING!! So full of flavour. But my highlight it's the spicy margarita!! One of the best i had in Melbourne. Forgot to take picture but will be back for sure.
