Dropped in last night with my wife and we both loved our meals and the staff were friendly. She had the salmon which was cooked exactly to her liking and I got the lamb burger - let me tell you there was nothing missing from this burger. All the flavours worked so well together. Perfection 👌 (oh yeah, the onion rings were mega!! We will come back again for sure!

After first having takeaway before and loved it, we had high expectations alas I was disappointed that there was no standard beetroot in the burgers and wasn't prepared pay an extra $3 for the privilege! Also they better stick to burgers only as my partner's spare ribs weren't slow cooked and this chewy, the same for side of wings which were plastic tasting... I did enjoy the Big Daddy and the beers but overall I was tad disappointed.

Wanted to support a local place so decided to try out Burgerlab. Lovely food and service (lady who served us had red hair, didn't catch her name but she was super lovely!). Had the Atomic Rooster and it was delicious. Chips were fresh, seasoned well and yummy. Looking forward to coming back!

Super high quality beef, a perfect bun... Does not matter if is for take away or dining in is worthy the travel (is you live far away), you can take away and have the burger on the beach, or dinne in and enjoy with a great beer on the tap and an excellent customer service.

Nice spot. We ordered the veggie burger and a lamb burger. Honestly I have had better burgers but then again I enjoyed the overall ambience. We sat outside with our dog, and the staff were very friendly! They brought her a bowl of water which was sweet The sides we ordered were actually pretty good. We thoroughly enjoyed the cob fathers. Overall not the best burgers in town, but overall serves good quality food at a reasonable price. Lots of cocktail choices!

This is such a an icon of the neighbourhood!! Get down there at night and enjoy the heat of the outside heaters. The burgers are amazing. Not overcooked either so a tiny bit pink just the way its meant to be. The chips are always crispy and taste great. Even after a 10 min ride home they still taste great and crunchy.

Great place to sit out side during the warmer weather to enjoy a local beer and burger with Australian sourced ingredients can't ask for more then that. Dogs are also welcome ourside so great place to stop after a walk on the beach.

Look at this picture. That towering bun right there? 3x160g patty, 2xcheese, 2xbacon - and you can still taste each of the other individual ingredients. That's how you know a place is top-notch, when something like this gets ordered and it's still an incredible experience. Not for the faint of heart. Their normal burger menu are a good starting point to fall in love with - a neat and tidy burger with good proportions and salad that doesn't taste of sadness. Try the milkshakes too - banana was a winner.

Feeling dejected after not finding something to eat along the main street I pulled over to the nearest car park once I saw the Burgerlab courtyard. The place looked great. I was greeted warmly and had the special in front of me within a short amount of t time. The soft shell crab was awesome. Fresh and bright. Not greasy like you find at other places. I'll definitely drop through again

A firm local and family favourite. Fantastic burgers, a great selection of beers and the sweet potato fries are incredible. Guaranteed to make a mess when eating these. The venue has both indoor and outdoor seating and is amazing in the summer. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Parkdale and the burgers are superb!

Went with my family on Friday, service was really friendly and fast. We all loved our burgers, I had the Firedog and it was delicious! We shared a jug of Furphy really affordable! The bottle of La Bossa pinot grigio was great. The atmosphere at Burgerlab is always fun. We'll all be going back.

We had take away from here and it was AMAZING! Harmoni served us and was so polite on the phone as we navigated our way through our family order. Good Burger joint, we have been a few times. The atmosphere is great an industrial feel, even the toilets have the same industrial groove. The burgers are quality, the meat is cooked to perfection. My wife went for the vegetarian burger, I had a taste and it was surprisingly good, usually the veg option in a burger restaurant is a poor second, not this time. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. This business owner knows what he is doing and doing it well.

Try the sweet-potato fries and the soft-shell crab burger on squid-ink bun! Super friendly and really fresh burgers that melt in your mouth - worth the money. This establishment only lost a star due to slow service. It took a long time to be served and our order taken, and a long time to be cooked and bought to the table. The place was not busy either. The food is super tasty and worth the wait though.

Went there for the first time recently. Nice looking restaurant with an outdoor eating area which would be great on summer afternoons. Ordered the 'Free Range Bacon Burger' and 'Atomic Rooster'. Burgers were average, definitely nothing special and there are a lot better burger places out there. Also had the BBQ Pork Ribs. They came out looking boiled and didn't look like they had been grilled, and also had no sauce on them. Waiter took them back, really just added BBQ sauce and gave them back. They were ok, but nothing to write home about. Had a lot better elsewhere. Overall an ok restaurant, but most likely would not be a repeat customer.

Ordered the Bacon Burger and added a slice of pineapple, plus hand cut chips. Burger ingredients were well cooked and good quality, but the burger was let down by the bun which was very average and dominated the taste. The chips had herbs on them I could see but barely taste, yet were oddly tangy (or perhaps that was the tomato sauce?) so it was an effort to finish them. Finished up with a vanilla choc-top which was decent but nothing memorable. $25 all up, not terrible value but honestly expected more - I have had Milk Bar burgers of the exact same quality for far far less - expected more than just a nice venue for the higher prices. I would suggest a different bun and work on the consistency and flavour of the chips.

Nice experience overall, the service was fast and efficient. I ordered a gluten free burger and i have to say that the bun was better than expected, soft and tasty, a great match with the ingredients, which didn't lack in quality either. Take the chips for example, they were real potatoes cut into chips with the skin left on. On the down side, I think that the patty wasn't seasoned or not enough, which made the overall taste a bit more sabtle than expected. Also the price of a gf burger + chips is just under 20$ which for a lunch meal isn't encouraging me to be going too often.

Went with friends for dinner, very slow service - our drinks and then our burgers were left sitting on the bar for several minutes before being brought over and also got one order wrong entirely. Cold as the front door handle had fallen off so the front door was lodged open. Burger was tasty but not the great. Burger are serously better at Burgerlab. Better than most places in Eastern suburbs at least. They have awesome chips. Service is friendly...good setup. Nothing so far we have had there has been bad so go for it....if you are around.
