Dribbles Burgers Essendon is unassuming modest location easily missed on busy Mt. Alexander Rd - open the day after Boxing Day when most places are closed. Delightful balanced combination of spices, taste, texture. Very delicious. Lovely undercover shaded outside area. Nice place for drink, snacks or meal. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for family. We came down fr NSW to Melbourne for Christmas. We went to Dfo on 30/12/2021 and looked for food after shopping at noon. Parking is convenient on Essendon main street (12pm). We ordered regular burger combo each from the shop. The food from here was fresh and quite good with reasonable price. I know nothing about basketball but I am happy with my burgur with Jalepeno. 😀

i went there on a busy evening, the place was completely full both outside and inside yet the service was still spot on and the food came out in a timely manner still piping hot and crunchy. everything was well looked after and clean. i would definitely come back here again for the food and service. good job guys

If the food wasn't so good I probabaly wouldn't be back. The service is honestly the worst. The girl in front was working so slow and had the worst attitude acting like she hates her life. The worst vibe ever. The tables/chairs were all filthy, the napkin holder's were empty, service was slow even though there were literally 3 customers and the bathroom sink was so dirty looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks.. However.. the burgers were very very nice, the flavour combinations of the sauces are really good and the chilli fries are really delicious.

Its a nice astmosphere if youre a big NBA fan. Burgers are named after a few players and is set out with the vibe. Burgers are good especially the one with the spicy sauce. The chips and chicken were a bit bland it isnt anything too special to get. Having a few ciders with the burgers were nice to have.

Great tasting burgers made with fresh ingredients and their sauces are really good. Plenty of parking around the area. Food is reasonably priced and they have tap beer too! Cheese and bacon fries were so good. Highly recommend this place.

The first thing that stands out is the theme of the restaurant, every burger 🍔 is basketball related and it works awesomely. Great vibes and music🎧. We had the Jordan Royale 🏀with added fried chicken and the Birdman. The chicken was juicy and the buns were soft. The Birdman was the best pick of the two, the Jordan Royale needed slightly more sauce, although the burger was rather neat and didn't fall apart or become to messy😛. Yummo!!!!! We really really really liked the food at this place. Hubby and i both ordered the greek freak with fries and none of it was disappointing. Very tasty, filling and well cooked. It's not a huge place but is easy to get to and staff very accommodating. My only suggestion is to add some colour and sports memorabilia around to give more authentication to the burger names and hoops. That said, we'll be back regularly.

Came in tonight to get a takeaway order when the team was under the pump with customers everywhere. The manager on duty (with pink and blue hair) was so amazing, great banter with customers and clearly on top of the chaos. The boys in the kitchen were also killing it. Food was quality too (especially the milkshakes!). Best burger joint around!

First time visiting, and all I can say is WOW. This young energetic team were being smashed with orders, and yet they maintained their composure and kept serving up meal after meal. Whilst we waited a tad longer than quoted, it was well worth the wait. The food was great, full of flavour, fresh and well presented. Great job all round. Great place to spend my birthday!! We will definitely be returning.

I've eaten at dribbles quite a bit over the previous two years and I've never been close to dissapointed. Their burgers taste great, same as their sides, and staff have always been attentive and kind. My favourites are the chilli cheese fries and chicken dunks, plus the LeBron burner and standard burger. If you like fried chicken with your choice of sauce, do not go past the chicken dunks!

Went last week and the food was very good but it was very busy and seemed understaffed. The same staffmember (the guy with the man bun) took my order, cooked it and then brought it out to us. Understandably my burger took a little longer than estimated but it was worth the wait. Would go again.

Being long weekend aswell as NBA All-Star Weekend, it was the perfect mix of watching our favourite players over great food. And great, as in the best burgers I've had in Melbourne so far. And being from the South Island of NZ where we have the world's best meat and burgers, this was the closest that reminded me of home!! My boys and I loved the experience we had with the great staff in Essendon. Great food at great prices. No fuss food. And the surprising highlight was the Shakes... OMG. Amazing. Looking forward to dining in the one in Geelong. Thanks to the team in Essendon, highly recommended.

We had booked a reservation for dinner on the 8th of July a few hours before the second lockdown. The restaurant was so busy with a few diners eating in with social distancing, the phone was ringing off the hook, they had had delivery orders plus people walking in for take away. From us sitting down at 6pm until 6:30pm there ended up being a half an hour wait. The staff handled everything so well, the food was amazing as always and they were very professional. A basketball themed burger lounge, and I say lounge because it's more casual dining, you're always welcome and it's a great place to hang out with friends of you're after a cheat meal. The food is reasonably priced and a great place to eat if you're unsure on what you want. I enjoyed that you don't feel obliged to eat then leave, you can eat, talk with friends and enjoy your time there. There's an outside dining area at the shop front with heaters and undercover seating.

I lived on top of this place for a few months during some training. I discovered it late unfortunately. Burgers there are next level. Chips awesome. I started actually with the fried chicken which is super tasty.... but as far as burger go I love the Shaq attack (I think that’s what it is called). Great vibe here... super chilled. Nice beers (not a huge selection) but fun all the same. Music is cool. Even better than the food is the staff. I have gotten to know a few of them now as I keep coming back. Arki (young bloke on the front counter) has always made and old guy like me feel welcome despite my strange orders and is awesome with customers. Tim (think he is from the Gold Coast) cooks a mean burger (or fried chicken if that’s what u want) and if he is on the grill u know u will have an awesome meal. And I think the manager I have seen there is Tommy?? Not sure... When the other two aren’t on Tommy makes me feel welcome and like part of the family. Just a great Melbourne experience with great staff, good food and nice beers. Recommend it highly. If u want a burger. This is the place.

Located at the heart of Mount Alexander road is this amazing burger place which has a basketball theme. The perfect idea of watching a basketball match on not just one but two screens.The decor was lovely and i loved the idea of a basketball ring pendant light. ' The birdman - southern fried chicken burger was good and i loved it. It went really well with the buffalo wings and chili cheese fries. I must say the chili cheese fries was so yummy and the cheese keeps me going back for more! They do have a double beef patty burger (Shaq Stack) for the brave which consist of a double of everything! These guys have an amazing range on the menu and might just satisfy your burger cravings!
