Great service most of the time, I really love this place. But not 5 stars because I was trying to get dinner on my break and the two girls at the back who were making the burgers were being very slow and talking a lot. My break was going to finish (I was waiting for about 20 minutes for one burger) I was about to ask for a refund but when I let the man with blue hair (always gives great customer service this guy) know I was running out of time he made sure my food came out less than 1 minute later. Tasted great like always, but when it’s peak hour (dinner time) please don’t talk and laugh with your friends.

Came here after the movies around 6pm to order take away. Was pretty busy however the service was quick and efficient and the food was fresh and delicious, haven't been here for a while so good to know the standard hasn't changed. Good stuff.

Yesterday, Galvin and the amazing team at Grill’d Northland smashed out 22 kids mini meal boxes in record time for my sons 6th birthday party a few doors down at Timezone. The kids were so excited for their delicious meals, there was barely a crumb left behind. I emailed the store a few days ahead to organise this large order, they were super organised and communicated with me in a timely manner. From front of house, to the chefs on the grill to management, we had the most pleasant experience. At the end of the party when the kids were exhausted from all the running around, Mum and Dad returned and dined in. We had the Mighty Melbourne and the Mustard and Pickled with a chip platter. Both burgers were so yum, the chip platter was the perfect combo - my fav are the zucchini chips - amazing! Thank you to the entire team at Grill’d Northland for a great experience - we will be back!

Amazing quality, lively atmosphere and happy staff. I order hot bird chicken burger and was good but was little bit on costlier side ($14.5), this burger should be priced nearly about $12.It is the cost of staff, service and premium location you are paying for, otherwise you can find similar burgers with chips and relish for less than $14.

Xavier at the Grilld Northlands location was absolutely amazing. This guy deserves a pay rise, promotion and employer of the year award! He checked our vaccination proof, sat us down, took our order and brought the food out in by far the best service I’ve ever seen from a grilld staff member. And we go to many different Grilld locations across Melbourne. Xavier genuinely seemed like he loved his job and just a genuinely top bloke with very nice manners! I hope this message gets back to him and his management team because he truly deserves to be rewarded. Thank you for your amazing service Xavier, I’m glad I asked for your name so I can give credit where credit is due! 😊 keep it up mate, we’ll definitely be back at Grilld Northlands, in what seems to be the benchmark of Grilld service for other locations.

We purchased the "Baa Baa Burger" and "Simon Says Burger" (without the bun) and fries with 2x aioli. The food took no time at all to come and tasted good. Size reflect the price. The waitress was polite and asked if everything was ok, which it was... Only fault being that the aioli was herbed mayo instead (but we didn't mention this).

We weren't greeted at the door by staff when entering he restaurant, had to get menus by ourselves, we also didn't receive the local matters tokens. All the staff were busy. Other than that it was a great night. Calvin, took our order and bought the food to the table. The female staff member who cleared out table was also nice. Been here lots and always been good quality food, will definitely come again.

I decided to try the vegan healthy Beyond burger with zucchini chips and a 🍼 of bio soft drink. The burger was tasty. It didn't have any sauce added. The chips were yummy with the dip but disappointed by the fried taste. Great first time visit experience with plenty of comfortable seating and atmosphere. Newspapers were available for reading.

Alex this goes out to you mate, absolutely the best service and customer service by far! Food was fresh and healthy especially after a big Saturday night and enjoying the experience on a Sunday for lunch. Not only was Alex funny and polite and wore a smile from the second we walked in. Made me feel right at home he took the extra effort to explain the details of the menu, to me this is a sunday lunch and to him it's providing me with outstanding service. I will be back in a heartbeat other staff there we're great also but this is for Alex because he went to that extra effort. Much appreciated and couldn't ask for a better day all due to him setting the bar high. I've also seen plenty of five star reviews on here but today proved they actually deserve it. Alex your fantastic at your job keep up the good work. And to the team at Northland thanks for such great food I'll now be back next week :)

We are regulars here and they've gotten our orders slightly wrong a couple times. However, the staff is always super helpful and making sure we are satisfied with our meal. The quality is always great. Also big shout out to the girl that offered to get our pineapple grilled on a different veggie plate so it doesn't get cross contaminated with their meat products. I tried the vegan cheese burger. I loved it! The vegan cheese was flavoursome, not a plastic tasting one like other stores. The staff were helpful and willing to explain items on the menu for me as this was only my 2nd time eating at grill'd. I gave 4 stars as I had to ask for a dipping sauce that I had ordered at the beginning after my food had arrived at the table. I'll definitely be back!

Had a GREAT beyond pattie garden goodness burger last week, the best burger I've had from Grill'd ever :) My burger pattie today was dry so they remade it and gave me free chippies, thanks Manager for the excellent customer service! I liked the interior of the place which is quite cosy particularly down the back in booth seating away from the majority of the activity. Service was prompt and friendly and the food hit the table quite quickly. Three of us ordered different burgers and we were all happy. I was quite taken with the low carb buns which seemed lighter, thin but still successfully held everything together. But beware there is a lot of hidden fat in them. The fries share platter was also a success. The zucchini chips were especially good although they had taken up a lot of oil. In general everything was nicely cooked and seasoned. I did enjoy the experience so most likely I will try again.

I have been to Grill'd at another location several times and it really disappointed, so I haven't bothered to go back since BUT Grill'd at Northland Shopping Center changed my mind completely. WOWWWW the burger was fantastic!!!!!!! Burger: Mustard & Pickled (make sure to add come crispy bacon - YUMMMM) The energy and service from the staff was fantastic. Loved it all from walking in to leaving just great. Deserves more than 5 stars.

Been going here since it opened. Pretty standard fare Grill'd, usually quite friendly staff, often not too long a wait. We go here before movies as a regular thing. I would give it 5 stars for the food - which is always tasty and fresh. But in Summer the air-con struggles to keep up, and it's just not a comfortable place to eat at all in those conditions. I've asked about it, and the staff say it's as good as it gets. I have no doubt it's even hotter standing next to that grill. But when you've got kids and you've been walking through a nice, air conditioned mall (it's attached to Northlands Shopping centre), then you arrive in a 30+ degree restaurant, it aint pleasant. If they've fixed it by this Summer I'll update this to 5 stars.

We love the delicious burger fillings and our granddaughter loves the herby chips. The minus is that this store could do with some maintenance, there were cracked vinyl seats and the toilets were less than impressive.

The burgers here can be sub-par at best but the sustainable name they tote is a major draw for many and in that regard they live up to the name but if you are looking for flavour and don't want to pay an exorbitant price then maybe Grill'd is not for you, as there are mountain loads of other burger joints with more reasonable prices around Melbourne.
