Second time going to the Island Burger Bar and luckily it wasn’t as busy as when we went on Cup weekend. The owner is very dedicated and does a great job managing customers and taking orders, plus cooking and serving food as well. The burgers are on point! Chicken has been cooked perfectly both times we’ve been there. The salad on the burgers is delicious with the mixed leaves, cucumber, radish and balsamic dressing. Everyone I went with was super happy with their orders. Our vegetarian friends loved the pinnacle burger and thought the homemade patty was nice and not dry like some veggie options are. Chips were hot and crispy. We love the decor and being able to eat outside and enjoy the ambience of the beer garden.

The BEST hot chocolate !!!!! If you in the area, do try their hot chocolate. The reason why I won't gave 4* because their service (especially the only guy there) was very rude. We are the group of 7people just walked in and we didnt even say any single word but the guy was telling us how busy he was and couldnt take the order right now. The way he speaks was a bit rude.

Fantastic burgers, fries and milkshake - all gluten free. The staff took extra care to check ingredients and reassure me of the level they go to for gluten free. The vibe of the place was a pleasant mix of retro and surf. Small but funky. A few tables out the front in the sun and a courtyard out the back. All reasonably priced with condiments aplenty. This is going to become one of my regular places to visit when on the island.

Do yourself a favour and avoid the summer crowds of Cowes - just 15 minutes down the road you'll find this fantastic burger bar. The beer garden out the back will help you relax and remember why you're visiting Phillip Island. The burgers are truly delicious with locally made buns (which don't leave you with that bready filling feeling), plus great options for vegetarians and vegans too. Speedy and friendly service, this is a winner.

We ordered classic burger and woolami. Both Juicy. However, I didn't like the taste of the cheese. The cleanliness (dishes and inside) was mediocre. We took a table outside. All the cutleries, salt and pepper shakers were either covered by dust or greasy. A good thing was providing hand sanitiser on the individual tables.

From the outside looks like a fun place to eat and it really is quite different. There are a few seats outside and slightly smaller inside but they have a large table in which about 6 to maybe 10 people can sit around. Not only you get to enjoy great food but also to meet other people sharing the same taste for good and local eateries. The burgers we tried were delicious, specially the kangaroo steak one which didn’t disappoint. We order a large side of fries and was bigger than expected. We couldn’t finish them so they packed it nicely to go. We had them the day after and they still tasted great. The best part of our visit was the attention. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this place when in the area.

Best burger i had in Melbourne in last 12 years. I came from india and eat our on local burger cafe's. Not a fan of hurgry jacks or macc. I tried fish burger and veggie patty burger. All salad very fresh and patty cooked nicely and balanced with hearbs. Gentle to your stomachs. Feel like you had salad not heavy to stomach. I would love to eat everyday if you have brach in cbd. I will surely recommend and visit you for more when im there next time.

What a great little spot to grab a bite.. Lovely owner and staff. Plenty of options for all kinds of appetites dietary needs. Sit inside or outside. Went to Phillip Island on a wet, windy day which put a real dampener on things. This place really was the silver lining. Had a garden vegie burger and the onion rings. They make the vegie patties in house, and the food was fresh and tasty. The venue has a lot of character, like the owner. It feels more like a cool mate's living room and deck. Certainly worth turning off the main road and round the corner for.

The ambience is very rustic and old school. The owner seems to be a music lover. They even sell CDs for those with common interests as that of the owner. Talking about the food, we ordered a salad and it was really delicious and impressive. By the looks, it looked very basic but it was too good. One of my all time burgers are made here with love; the vista burger containing a lentil burger, roast veggies and hommus. Staff and owner are always lovely. There is an awesome outdoor area out the back, with a fire pit! A lovely atmosphere for burgers and a beverage. Couldn't think of a better place for a meal to hang out with friends and family. Cosy place and excellent (vegan) burger! I recommend the tofu burger and the chips. For vegans, ask for vegan mayo (or similar sauce), they had available last time. The lentil and sweet potato burger was good but to soft, with each bite the patty fell apart :-( The price is quite nice! There is a terrace outside, at the entrance, but another one, quite cosy, at the backyard, excellent for small groups.

After traveling since 2:30pm we arrived here right on 8:30pm(closes at 8:30pm) to ask directions for dessert to find that the place closed 6months ago. They were closing (cleaning almost packed up.) Awesome, wholesome food. Just devoured a vista burger and what an absolute pleasure to have a vegerarian burger WITHOUT a mass produced, tasteless lentil burger. This burger had a succulent lentil and sweet potato burger and a beautiful salad with subtle dressing. The bun was soft, healthy and tasy and the whole burger was fantastic to the last bite. Highly recommend this wonderful burger shop in Woolamai and will definately come here again and again 😀 Thoroughly loved the ambience and the awesome vinyl collection including some you could buy.
