Bloody great fish and chips, the best I've had in months! Blue Grenadier wasn't overcooked like a lot of places do, and they use steakhouse chips which actually go real well with the fish Definitely rate the Dim Sims too - real tasty and perfectly cooked!

Good tasty and fresh fish along with generous portion of chips. Nicely located in the Bass Highway with plenty of parking out the front. Good seating outdoors out of the sun and wind. Wheelchair friendly and kid friendly. Eat in or take away.

These guys do *awesome* traditional burgers with the lot! Time and time again I have ordered the burger and it never disappoints! Chips are great too! Excellent food. They really try hard.

Small bright, cheerful looking shop beside the highway in Grantville. A few tables outdoors under cover and a few seats inside to sit on whilst you wait. We took ours down to the pier nearby where there's tables and a view of Westernport Bay. There is a good range of menu options and a fair few "meal packs" which seemed reasonably priced. We ordered 2 packs, one with Battered Flake, Potatoe Cakes, Dim Sims and chips, and another with Flathead Tails and Chips. We also got some delicious, delightfully crunchy Pickled Onions and a Marathon Spring Roll. When I asked for some extra lemon, the lady serving cheerfully added some more slices. The Flake and Flathead Tails were EXCELLENT! Thin crispy batter and beautifully moist fish. Unfortunately the Chips were very dry and difficult to eat, (we threw most of them out) the Potatoe Cakes were factory made and again dry and chewy. The Dim Sims were likewise dry and chewy. The Marathon Spring Roll was overcooked with burnt ends, but was still most and flavourful inside. I suspect either the oil is too hot or the faulty items were way over cooked. In either case it's a shame as the fish WERE delicious. Although disappointed in our meals I would stop here again to give Seaside Fish and Chips another go. The Gentleman and Lady serving were lovely and the serves were very generous. Hopefully our experience was an anomaly!

Once again I can highly commend this place as a really Coeliac friendly establishment. I have been going there for a few years when I have a slack attack and want safe food without cooking. Joan and her friendly staff always provide safe tasty food. This is a real treat! Other local establishements are happy to charge Gluten free prices....without the gluten free!!!! product. Let them know you are a Coeliac and they look after you! Also love their pickled onions! Thank you Joan and staff. Very happy repeat customer. Val.

Used to go to this place 10 years ago, visited last Saturday and service was great and more importantly Fish was magnificent as was the Hamburger with the lot, in fact it's Sunday arvo and I'm hungry, piece of flake & Hamburger with the lot coming my way as I'm ordering. 🤙
