We've been here twice now. Both times the burgers have been spot on. The satay chicken burger was especially good. Seasoning on chips was well proportioned and kids fries perfectly cooked. Kids meal with burger, fries, fruit juice, and lollipop is great value compared to many other places. This place deserves to be busier than it is.

We came here for a Sunday lunch. The place is well ventilated and reasonably clean. We ordered a chicken salad, which had the right amount of dressing and was very well seasoned (won’t recommend it for a take away though). The kids burgers, strawberry milkshakes and the thick cut chips were spot on. Would definitely visit again.

Glad to have found this gem of a burger place. With an attractive line up of vegetarian choices, I feel like I'm spoilt for choices. The customer service is a little impersonal IMHO, but they make good food here. I ordered the vegie delight, and I was definitely delighted. When you see a 6-inch tall burger you know things are about to get serious. My burger can only be described as a festival of flavours and needless to say, it was fantastic. Definitely coming again. Oh and, the onion rings. Do order them the next time you're here.

A piece of eltham nostalgia here. The burger lounge is part of the eltham town fabric and has been here for a while now. The classic herb chips are still great and the prices are good. My old favorite the steak supreme has gone down hill. They used to marinate in olive oil and paprika which suited the rest of the ingredients. Now randomly they are marinating in like a sweet and sour Asian style marinade which clashes with the bernaise sauce and is very confused. Need to return back to the old marinade. Lounge signature burger was decent. I will give this old favourite another shot but I hope they take on the feedback!

I was pleased to see a great choice of burgers for vegetarians and pescatarians (i.e. several options of each). Fries are also delicious with a subtle hint of salt and spices. Comfortable seating inside and outside.

First visit to The Burger Lounge, was easy to get a seat but I could imagine some days it could be tricky. Plenty of options on how you want your burger. I went the most popular option with Swiss cheese which is extra ( I think). Along with a Coke no sugar it was great.

Food is epic! I highly recommend ignoring any negative feedback about the food not being up to scratch. The veggie delight is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Retrain... or probably just best to re-recruit. This particular staff member is a major detractor to your brand. Find someone who will value add to your business and not belittle customers in front of others.

The burgers and onion rings are great. The thick chips are pretty good but sometimes a bit overdone. Unfortunately the (dis)organisation lets it down. I have been given other peoples orders and had my order given to someone else. Three out of the last four orders, the aioli advertised as ‘served with’ the onion rings wasn’t included until I checked and asked for it. Tonight’s online order had not been started when I arrived after the stated 15 mins. Could be great, but you need to double check everything.

We have dined at the Burger Lounge on a number of occasions. Both my wife and I are very pleased with the food itself, we have tried the chicken stripes, crispy beef, fish and chips. All were delicious and cooked to perfection. I would like to say the customer service needs improvement hence the 1 point. I found on all the visits the staff seamed like they were only there for the sake of it. If the food wasn't to our liking we wouldn't be returning.

I hate to also say it, but it's no longer what it once was. This used to be one of my favourites for a good burger, not only in Eltham but in the area. I've been twice now in the last three months and three times in around the past eight. Each time hasn't been anywhere near as good as it was a year or so ago. In fairness the service has been okay, but I've twice been the only customer. Unfortunately the quality of the food has dropped considerably and that's less excusable, particularly when you're the only customer in the place. I'll maybe wait a while before trying here again as it doesn't look like I'm alone in my thoughts (many other negative reviews recently and the fact the place is often empty at previously very busy times is a clear indicater that regular customers have become less regular)... Hopefully they can turn this around again. I don't want to see any business failing, particularly one I've previously enjoyed so much in the past. 🤞

Great burgers ! There herb chips. Are also yummy ! A Good selection of different style burgers sold here ! My only critic is that i feel the burger should have been brought out on on a plate or have plates provided at the table so as not to make such a mess when eating the burger from a wooden flat board :-/ * No sauce provided with chips :-(

I can only speak for their veggie burgers, which are nothing short of amazing; the Burger lounge delivers on taste that lives up to the name! The best part: you won't even have to break the bank, everything is reasonably priced and I've found the servings to be fairly generous! Love this place, will be coming back many more times :)

I had the classic cheese burger with blue cheese. The burger came out in around 10 minutes and was huge. The pattie was nice and juicy with a pink tinge still to the meat the blue cheese upped the ante transforming this humble burger into a savoury taste sensation.

Was once particularly good, now not quite as great. We hadn't been for some time, but on our last visit, the bun on my burger absolutely disintegrated as I ate it. Within about four bites, the bun was simply a mushy mess falling off the rest of the burger. I have no idea what that was about, but these are not the buns that they used to use. They're tasteless and stuff up the whole experience.

I read some bad reviews on urban spoon and I honestly can't believe them. I absolutely love the burgers I've tried (Grand Fromage, Beef and Bacon), the onion rings and I love the waiter I've had the last few times on weekdays with the longish quiff. He is cool, chilled and helpful.

Room for improvement. - Please ask your waiters to refrain from cleaning tables whilst people are still eating. We had the same guy check on what he could clear from our table 4 times whilst eating. While I understand it's good to keep on top of the garbage it just seemed a little weird in the end. - Sweet potato chips seemed like they were cooked from frozen out of a bag bought from Coles around the corner. Maybe I'm just used to how good the seasoned cut chips are?

We're based a little far out, but we make the drive out to Eltham every now and then to eat the BEST BURGERS IN MELBOURNE 🙏🏾 and your herb chips?? The two of us get the family size whenever we come in and it lasts us like 24 hours. It's HUGE. AND SO GOOD. Honestly this is one of the only places where I don't feel shackled to just the one menu item because there are soooo many veggie options and they're all UNIQUE! There's honestly something for everybody here. Give it a go!

Best burgers in the north east. Every time I go, I expect to discover that they've started franchising but to date this is the only place to get Eltham's own take on the gourmet burger. The food has been consistently good over the years I've been coming here. It's also a great pitstop when you're heading to Yarra Valley and beyond.

Food was a good price. The chips come seperately however they are definently worth it as it filled us up and we still had left overs. Overall amazing place and you should visit.
