That is really a hidden gem. In the middle of an industrial complex we were searching for building materials and found out one of the best burgers in town! Friendly staff, absolutely fantastic burgers; tasty, juicy, freshly cooked, quality ingredients; super fresh and crispy chips.... I wish they were closer to my home but it worth the drive for sure!

Double D's never disappoint. Second time having burgers from this place and it's been amazing. It's also the second time getting the Double D burger which is the double patty, and so far consistent. Ingredients were juicy and full of flavour, if anything, the bun was a little dry, maybe could have been done with extra toasting with butter, as juice heavy on bottom. One of the best places to order onion rings as well, they're crispy and pretty large compared to some others places. Like all loaded fries, you want to be eating these almost straight away. Famished Wolf serve the best burgers and American sides in the Mordialloc area. On this occasion, I had ordered a cheeseburger and Wolf Wings. The cheeseburger was very good, but my only criticism was the bread is too thick. I enjoyed the Wolf Wings, but it could have done with a tad more sauce. Somewhat surprisingly, their onion rings are actually the headline dish, in my experience – some of the juiciest, tastiest, generous onion rings I have ever had.

Came here for a quick bite before driving back to Melbourne because I saw great reviews for the restaurant online and was very much worth it. This eatery is literally hidden away amongst business buildings but the burgers served here are delicious. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant is cosy and the outdoor eating area was clean well stocked with condiments and napkins. Would recommend any of their burgers, (all reasonably priced) with the drink and chips combo. Would definetely eat here again when passing through the area

Managed to finally get to this place for the first time and grab there monthy special, Which was the Godfather. What can i say... the bun was toasted nicely, meat was juicy and cooked perfect, there wolf sauce is a welcome change to just the usual bbq & tomato sauce combo and to top it off the spaghetti they cooked and added to the burger was seriously awesome, so was having the parmesan cheese. Also there onion rings were awesome with the fantastic homemade ranch sauce. Also great customer service and very friendly.

Decided to have a cheat day at this burger joint. Nice burgers, still moist with nice little char grilled bits on the patty. Loaded fries were good, maybe just a bit less cheese as it turns into a cheese potato mush at the bottom. After transforming from a typical industrial area fast food take out place to a burger joint only 5 months ago, the Famished Wolf is doing a great job. Located in the industrial area of Braeside, the weekends are quiet with ample parking. The burgers are pretty good, with well cooked beef. They currently don't serve alcohol but are waiting on permits from the council, so Softdrink, basic coffee and milkshakes are available. Staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. Price is a massive thumbs up! It's a cheaper lunch here then most burger joints, but due to their growing popularity that probably won't last. Only downside for me was the fries, they looked and tasted like truck stop chips that have sat in a bain-marie for a few hours. Otherwise definitely worth a visits

Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. The one with coleslaw in it. Amazing. Excellent place. The outdoor seating area is great, and perfect for meeting up with friends. The choices of beer are pretty good. I had one of the bratwursts since I had a sauerkraut craving. Honestly it was nice but felt a bit confused. A German style sausage with Mexican style topping. Both of those are nice, but I'd love to see them go full Bavarian with it. I'll definitely be back to try some of the burgs.

Did Melbourne really need another burger joint? Probably not, but I'm glad it's here. We ate here on Saturday afternoon in the ambience of Breasides factory area enjoying the winter sun, but honestly it was quite nice. The shop was previously your run of the mill factory tuck shop until 5 months ago they changed into more of a burger store. But let's not waste anymore time, how was the burger? The meat was good and cooked well, all ingredients appeared fresh and the bun was fresh and not too invasive to the overall burger. Also had a side of chips and onion rings. The onion rings were great, not overcooked and not greasy. As for the chips they were probably the weakest part of the meal, lacking any flavour and still soft they just didn't have that crunch. But if all that wasn't enough the value was the real clincher, we fed 2 people for $35 and that got us 2 burgers, 2 sides of chips, 2 cans of drinks and some onion rings. It was worth every dollar and then some. Definitely worth a visit if you like burgers and like supporting some very friendly staff.

Friendly staff & management and tasty juicy burgers. Try the USA burger. It's my favorite The eating area is very cosy. Perfect setting for family dinners and lots of parking available outside too. If you are coming on a Friday night or on the weekend make sure to call before you arrive so know there's a table available for you. It's super packed on Friday nights and all through the weekend. If you're ordering food for delivery at peak time on any of these nights its best to order in advance as you will be in a queue to get your order. That's how busy this shop is!! I see some people complaining about deliveries, well guess what you are one of the hundreds of people who order food for delivery from here.

Preface - I like what you’re going for, I’m very glad you exist. I think generally you do good work. My gripe is ranch related. Maybe it’s just been bad luck. A good few months ago I ran a chicken style burger which among many ingredients was supposed to contain ranch. It did have some kind of white sauce but no tang to speak of, I was bemused and felt slightly let down. Fast forward to last night we order three burgers as onions rings. I ran the beef and bird, either the BBQ sauce is all conquering or again no ranch? It was definitely a decent offering but dang it I like ranch! Also the onion rings (which were great btw) came without their ranch MF sauce. The boys really enjoyed their burgers. If I’m spending 60+ on ubereats for three burgers and onion rings I expect the satisfaction of sweet tang only ranch can deliver. Any supermarket offering off the shelf does the job. I live in hope for a future redux/subsequent 5 star rating. Best, Ben

Found out about this place only via FB- just goes to show you the power of word of mouth. I had very high expectations, and I can safely say The Famished Wolf exceeded them. Firstly, the really do their best to cater for people with dietary issues as best as possible, secondly, the burgers were well cooked and moist. Lastly, prices are (slightly) higher than other places, but as the old adage says, 'you get what you pay for'.
