Decent prices, we got pack to share between two people and we were pretty full after devouring it. Chips probably a little bit well done for my liking but that's just my preference, all good otherwise !

Just had an amazing meal at Alkimos Fish & Chips. Fish was really fresh, delicious batter and huge portion sizes. The calamari is a highlight - best I've had at fish and chip shop. Highly recommend!

Never had a bad fish n chips from this popular takeaway and we've had many. The fish n chips are cooked properly with little fat in the meal and it would appear the cooking fat is replaced regularly. A good serve of fish n chips at a respectable price.

Staff friendly +served everyone quickly. The chips were cooked to perfection, fresh oil, really crispy. Crab sticks had a delish batter. We got the Snapper +Barramundi grilled-AMAZING! I like the Barra more as it’s quite firm +stronger fishy taste, partner liked the snapper as it was just so delicate +tender. Light coating was delicious. We didn’t feel heavy or sick afterwards like some fish +chips can make you feel. I highly recommend!

Popped in to grab some fish and chips on our way home and sooooo glad we did!!!! Absolutely perfect!! Lovely, crispy, tasty fish & chips. The grilled fish was cooked perfectly and the squid rings were very yummy! Best fish and chips we have ever had!!!! My son said the food was delightful and yum yum yum he ate loads. The owners were so lovely and friendly. It’s nice to walk into somewhere and be greeted with a smile. You could tell they put lots of love into their food. If you want to get your order on time go in early don’t wait until late then complain about the wait time they are doing the best they can do. Keep up the great work guys definitely will be back!!!! 💗💗

Nice shop and it's our local here in Alkimos. They have banana fritters which is a huge plus and their regular fish and chips is prefect. We also tried out the fisherman's basket and some of the local shark which is all spot on. Chips are cooked nicely, everything is seasoned well and the fish and other items are very lightly battered without any heavy residual grease. The salad is also a stand out with loads of fresh iceberg, cherry tomatoes and peeled finely sliced celery -- a really nice touch. I'm tempted to try the Thai Fish Cakes next time. Portions are neither too small nor overwhelmingly large -- in fact everything is just right.

The battered sausage was lovely, not Greasy or over battered, the chips would Have been lovely, but they over did it on The salt, which made them impossible to Eat, it's a shame really because the ones I did try, were really nice.
