The candle wood fish and chip shop is a good little chippy, with good size potions of food at good price. My missies likes a good piece of fish and said it was tasty and fresh testing and fair size, she even went as fair as saying it was better than the Great British Chippy. The only niggle i have was the Burger was a little cold but still tasted ok. Definitely worth a second visit, and definitely recommend others to visit.

The most amazing Fish & Chips I have had in Perth. The serving portions are great, the fish is moist and delicious. The squid was tender. The pineapple fritters were amazing. Chips perfect. Potato fritters were cooked to perfection. The crab sticks I didn't eat, however my partner said they were great. We had 5 adults and everyone was impressed. The customer service was also on point. Can't wait to go back!

AMAZING CHIPS! Can’t get fish and chips from anywhere else - Everything is cooked perfectly and service is great! When I order too much I can save the rest for later and it still tastes just as good! Would highly recommend :)

Always lovely and fresh large portions at a great price, sometimes you have to wait if there are a few orders but it's worth the wait to have them cooked properly and well drained, always nice and crisp never had a soggy meal yet and we regularly get the Friday lunch time specials it's a bonus having them for lunch.

Order 3 serves of fish and chips to feed 4 adults all full but still have 2 pieces of fish and chips left over. The fish is so nice and juicy, the batter was so light and crispy. I recommend eating here, came all the way from Noranda to eat here.

Excellent food and excellent service, just popped in on a whim as we drove past and ordered $30 worth of food, fish, crabs sticks, dim sims, potato cakes (scollops for you weirdo West aussies) and chips to go. Was all beautifully cooked, fresh, tasty and well worth the visit. Glad we tried this place and highly recommend it, will be back the next time we feel the urge for fish’n’chips without a doubt. Note, we got more than we asked for, the food filled us (2 adults, 2 children) and everyone love it. Definitely get yourself down here for a feed.

Decent store but from what I have heard staff are paid extremely poorly. Other then this prices are cheap but just expect to be waiting a few minutes when picking up orders and quiet a bit longer if ordering in store but there is always a shopping centre inside if you get bored and want to stroll around to waste the time 😊
