I absolutely love this burger joint, particularly this location. Huxta Hibernian Place have consistently delivered juicy tasty burgers time after time. The owner is a good guy and drives his staff well, seemingly to pump out great tasting food.

Great burgers and at a reasonable price too! These burgers remind me of the ones we have in the US. The buns are brioche type buns and they toast them with butter first making the edges of the buns crispy and buttery. For two burgers (ficko and fried chicken) and medium chips, we paid about $30. Will definitely come back!

I love Rachel. That aside, my experience tonight dining with my family was more a miss than a hit.. First of all, when we got there all their outdoor tables were full of leftovers and not cleaned. So we had to sit indoors. But as their air-conditioning was not switched on, it was hot and stuffy inside and very, very uncomfortable. By the time I was half way through my burger, I was already perspiring profusely. Food wise, Rachel's great. Hashbites and chips too. Well, maybe just a tad too salty. But we couldn't bear sitting there in a hot stifling environment with beads of sweat streaking down my back; and escaped as soon as we could without managing to finish our food.

Small but nice place with tasty burgers. I had the Darren burger (recommended by staff) and it had a nice little bite from the pickles and sauce which went well with my beer! Good service and staff. Averagely good burgers. Best part of the burger was the bun - it was perfectly buttered and toasted, crispy around the edges. Beef patty was okay, but pretty average. Avoid getting anything with the Chipotle salt, they coat the dust on thick and it makes whatever you eat dry and flavourless!

I was drawn by the aroma of juicy burgers and tried their Kevin. So glad I didnt settle for less, I deserve better than Macs on a Sunday evening. The crew here seems to be young ladies, one of them came out of the kitchen to check if things are fine with the guests. Burger nvr tasted this good!

Wow! I have tried out most of the CBD's burger joints, and this was far and away the best one I've been to. Food: The beef burger was perfectly cooked, there was a nice crunch to it. The ingredients were fresh, the whole burger seemed fresh. The bun itself was a lot nicer than at other places I've been to which have a bun which is way too soft and feels artificial. You could tell there was some level of effort/care put into making it. The chips were also really nice. Overall, the food was the best out of the burger joints I've been to. Speed: I ate during lunch-time, the restaurant had about 20 customers. My food came out ~8mins after I ordered which is *much* faster than a lot of the other places I've tried. It was the same for the few people who ordered just before me too, I saw that they got their food shortly after ordering. Lastly, the servers were very attentive. I saw them come out and look around the restaurant to see if anyone needed attention. Negatives: The *only* negative, I think, is that their chips are priced too highly. $4.5 for their "regular" serving of chips, which is a cup. Other burger places nearby give you more chips for less money. Overall, 4.5 stars. But Google won't let reviewers give half-stars, so I'll mark it as 5 since I did really enjoy it there :)

Ill start with the good. The staff are friendly and the venue is welcoming. The thick shakes taste really good and the packaging is cardboard. They have very good dietary options for vego/vegan and so on which I love. The downside is the packaging mainly the boxes are not attached to the base of itself which led to me crying as I pulled it out the bag and it made its self acquainted with my carpeted floor as I sat there in tears with a tasty milkshake in my hand. Second is the sauce please more sauce sadly the small sauce cups only hold a tablespoon or two. And finally the batter fell of my wings leaving them flavourless and as barren as my attachment to my parents.

Very convincing meat-alternative burger, the "Megan". Nice vibe and very friendly staff. On the down side, the gravy is horrible and they charge $2 for sauces that you would expect to be free. However, my kids loved the jigsaw puzzle and the staff kindly made a burger for the kids to order.

Had fried chicken sandwich, onion rings and raspberry thickshake. Sandwich was great, chicken cooked perfectly slaw nice and homestyle on toast. Onion rings were ok but I prefer batter to the crumb style coating on these ones, the shake was delicious. Recommended for a burger lunch with the work crew. They are also licenced and have decent domestic beers from gage roads in the tin.

Great burgers and onion rings. Both my friend and I thought the burgers had a great beefy taste with a good grind. The choices of condiments and options was suitable. Dine-in has free bev refills which in the summer is a plus. The eating space is small but has some nice hidden away options and a small outside area all was kept clean and tidy with no dirty trays on tables or unattended spills. The staff were attentive and friendly.

This place does not let down in terms of choices and options. A personal favorite of mine is the Ice Cream Burger! A perfect way to end a meal. Also, their fries are pretty amazing. First time trying. Place looks like a great spot but had takeaway. Chicken tenders were excellent, perfectly cooked and very tasty. Burger on the other hand was very flat. As a whole the burger was put together well and has promise, but the let down was the patty was so bland. Can tell it had fillers and no seasoning. Will give it another try but you have to season.

Favourite burger, I eat a lot of burgers so Its a statement. The buns are toasted darker brown rather than 10 second's each side. Patties are smash burgers pretty dense texture due to the process, but I'm all about the burnt ends and its got lots of crispy bits. alcohol licence is a perk and just a generally nice setting, no eye sore. 10/10

Yummo! Love the tasty, crunchy, fresh burgers at Huxtaburger. A decent range of burgers inducing chicken and vegetarian options served with a hash brown for only $1 more. The venue has plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. I'm told they will soon get a liquor licence which will be fantastic. Not too busy and you can almost always get a seat.

Eaten here once and had UberEats several times. Not a cheap burger, but one of the best burgers you'll get in the CBD. Satisfying, tasty and fits in your mouth. They also have a liquor license now and it's a pleasant semi-open place to eat your burger, even if it (intentionally) looks like a swimming pool. Unlike some other places, they are pretty quick to get the food out and they are reliable. Highly recommended.

I'd go a 3.5 but it won't let me, so it's a 4 because a 3 seems too harsh. Overall not too bad, had a large hit of mustard in the signature burger which was pretty strong but I think that was just how they assembled it. Chicken burger was good, but more bread crumb style than that awesome kfc style crumb that other burger places do. Burgers are reasonable size and standard price, fries are amazing however the sriracha mayo didn't taste like sriracha or mayo, just taste like cream. Location is awesome and staff are super friendly. If you're a hardcore burger enthusiast, this place probably isn't the place to visit but it's good for a lunchtime snack if you're in the area.

I've been to this Huxtaburger a few times for breakfast and lunch and it's unfortunately lacking. The burgers and sides and fairly tasty and well-priced, however they can't seem to get the drinks right. The coffee is served in a paper takeaway cup with no lid (even when you dine in) and is clearly from an automatic machine - my friend referred to it as a "prison brew". The "milkshakes" are also served in lid-less paper cups and are a strange cross between a shake and a smoothie; they were so thick we couldn't drink them through the provided straws and the taste was unbalanced and ultimately unpleasant. To top off the experience the music is loud and has a lot of offensive words, making the place unfriendly for families. I'm hoping they can clean up their act as the burgers and location are nice.

Fantastic burger spot located in close proximity to the Westin hotel in the Hibernian Place precinct. The venue has been decked out with a very retro subway style theme that is very reminiscent of old school American burger joints that is vasthetically pleasing and adds to the atmosphere. The staff were on point and burger quality immaculate. There wasn't a long wait time on food even though it was fairly busy and alcoholic beverages are available to compliment the food. The venues opens out onto Hiberian Place which provides a nice view and social setting. Convenient and fairly priced, would recommend for an easy meal and worth a visit.

I really wanted to like this place... went in for a weekday lunch. On entry it felt a bit like a public swimming pool cafe. There seemed to be clutter everywhere and not much thought put into the counter layout. The burgers were just okay. Definitely a notch or two above Hungry Jack's but nowhere near Short Order Burger Co, Varsity or other local burger places.
